2041  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Casino Android software on: February 17, 2023, 06:44:09 AM
I think there are over hundreds of gambling casinos that have very good running android and also iOS apps and people like myself have been using those apps for years.

Wow, that's really surprising to hear! Are you absolutely certain that there are hundreds of real online casino sites with mobile apps available, and that these aren't just free-to-play games? It's essential to make the distinction between the two, as playing with real money involves a higher level of risk, and it's crucial to ensure the legitimacy and security of any such mobile app before using it.

I have used many casinos before including sport gambling sites, but what I noticed is that most of them do not have mobile app, I do not even think they have desktop app too, but they have a good website that are user friendly. Although some of them have mobile and desktop app which users can use instead of going through the site using a web browser.

If I am using a gambling site, app is not my problem, I like visiting casino site directly. The app is not what I will like to put directly on my desktop or phone's home page because I will love people not to see it directly while I am accessing my devices.
2042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 17, 2023, 06:34:50 AM
Arsenal made a lot of mistake in that game and they paid for it. Arteta has to talk to his team because they're losing confidence already and if they can't win Aston Villa in their next game then it's over for them, they should just forget about the league title. I really want Arsenal to win and probably win the title, Manchester city can't be winning the league every season. Arsenal should wake up and take their place.
It is not even only about the next match, there are long way to still go before the end of this season premier league, Manchester City will not want to leave that position for Arsenal, it is facing Nottingham Forest in the next match and the chance that Manchester City would win is very high. Arsenal will try their best, they still remain a competitor against Manchester City, but even if Arsenal start to play good again, but they can still likely fuckup at anytime. This season should have been for Arsenal, but they do make use of their advantage while playing with small clubs like Everton and also allowing Manchester City to win is a mistake. About the confidence issue, this is what they really need.
2043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 16, 2023, 06:37:04 AM
Arsenal title dream is over, the earlier you realise it, the best for you. Manchester city outclassed Arsenal yesterday and top the table for the first time since August and may remain on top till the end of the season. I think Arsenal will have a problem in thr coming games, their game tempo has changed completely, they lack confidence and their attacking force are losing focus. It's not be cool for them to lose the tittle after so much they have invested in the team, but this is English premier league very unpredited till the end.
We never know what would happen before this season ends, Manchester City is now the topmost in the premium league table, that is true, but with the same point as Arsenal, though Manchester City use to score more goals than Arsenal. I do not like Arsenal for one thing which I do talk about on this forum, that the club is on and off, they will perform good sometimes and late just go bad, but Arsenal is still better this season, it is still one of the potential rival of Manchester City and I do not think we yet know who would win the league this season yet. But I think Manchester City has an upper hand though.
2044  Other / Meta / Re: Telegram BOT to get topic reply notification on: February 15, 2023, 06:22:57 PM
Any notification of what? From a single topic or reply from all over the forum? I need all the replies notification from a single topic, so I won't get bored actually. I used to get through email, I had to change email too (though it was a mistake lol). But now I need instant notification.
What I mean is the reply of a single topic, you will have to put the url of the topic you want its replies on nijastic telegram bot, if there is any reply on the topic, you will be notified.
2045  Other / Meta / Re: Telegram BOT to get topic reply notification on: February 15, 2023, 06:14:36 PM
Nijastics telegram bot can do that but just that you will get the notification of any reply and that can be annoying. I prefer the notification through the email because no further notification until you check the previous ones.
2046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin is suitable and reliable for staking? on: February 15, 2023, 01:46:21 PM
Usually and most of the time the higher the APY the higher risk it is, usually due to the volatility of its price (not really that sure) but if I am going to stake on the list that you have I would probably go along with SOL and BNB and DOT as those are some of the projects that you would know would be there and still doing a good progress or performance after a year or so, but if you really like reliable coin for staking I would go stake with the ETH v.2
Let us take Solana and Osmosis for example

Solana: 6.5% APY
Osmosis: 22% APY

Solana falled from $260 in October 2021 to $8 in December 2022
Osmosis falled from falled from $12.5 to $0.6 in just December 2022.

But if we check the volatility, they are both very risky. You may be correct, but not applicable to all coins. If I see a coin with more than 30% APY, probably your statement is true about those ones.

See Zilliqa too with with 15% APY, it is still one of the good coins too.
2047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! on: February 15, 2023, 01:27:00 PM
I like El Salvador direction towards the continuing bitcoin adoption in the country. The country is patterning with the government of Taxas to open a bitcoin embassy.

El Salvador to open a ‘Bitcoin Embassy’ in the United States

Quote
El Salvador, a country that adopted Bitcoin as legal tender in 2021, is expanding its Bitcoin strategy in a new partnership with the government of Texas. The intergovernmental collaboration aims to set up a Bitcoin Embassy, or El Salvador’s representative office, in Texas to work on new joint projects to promote Bitcoin adoption.

I do not know why IMF is like a threat to El Salvador. It has been long that I posted on this thread, but according to how we did saw things then, bitcoin adoption in El Salvador is not a problem, most El Salvadorans are converting most bitcoin they are receiving to USD, I do not know the research IMF did that makes them to be a threat, but we are going to see what would happen. I always like that a country made bitcoin a legal tender, I do not know the stress of IMF on a country that do not have its own currency.
2048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chasing losses - Double down bet or Bet twice? on: February 15, 2023, 12:50:34 PM
The last time I chase my losses I bet twice and manually pick my rolls but sometimes things will not go your way when you're chasing your losses, I sometimes think that when you are chasing your losses it is part of having a stroke of bad luck, you really have to stop when circumstances tell you to stop Double down bet or Bet twice, its useless when you its not your day to win.
If you chase losses and able to meet up and make profit, indeed you are very lucky because that is not always most what will happen, it is the time people use to lose. The last time I could remember that I chase losses, which is as usual, I lost more and I did not stop gambling until I lost all the money with me. Chasing losses is a bad idea.

When is the next significant bull run?
The potential of the Osmosis is more or Kava or Polkadot?
Nobody knows when next would be a significant bull run, but if you use bitcoin halving for it, it would be 2024/2025. But we only use past events to be predicting what could probably happen in the future.

I do not know about Kava, but Polkadot is a great coin, osmosis may not be like Polkadot because Polkadot is stronger, but that does not mean that osmosis is not a good project too.
2050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there an effective way to stop a gambling-addicted person? on: February 14, 2023, 05:43:10 PM
Prison may provide important lessons for people who are addicted to drugs. However, for gambling addiction it is much more different. Because, reflecting on what I found around me, there were some who were caught by the police selling illegal lottery, after they were released from prison they repeated the same thing. Even he was in and out of prison several times did not make him stop. I think the most appropriate thing is family support and/or a psychiatrist to improve psychology so he can live without gambling.
If someone is addicted and jailed for awhile, it might help. Even let us leave that aside, if someone lost very great amount of money to gambling, he might leave gambling for good. Someone can leave gambling because he gambled the first time and lose. Anyone can because of real bad event that happen to him at any point in life leave something, and gambling is one. But some people still learn lessons but still continue until they are finished.
2051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers theory on BEGINNERS LUCK. on: February 14, 2023, 01:14:26 PM
I believe in beginner's luck which comes to beginners when they are just starting to play gambling. But after playing for a long time, the beginner's luck will disappear because they will experience loss, and some even experience losing streaks.
You can first gamble and win. You can first gamble and lose. I have friends that first gamble and lost. I still even remember a friend of mine that gambled the first time and lost and said he will not gamble again and he is not gambling again.

Maybe after they get that beginner's luck, they should give up gambling for a while and not gamble. But most people who become novice gamblers instead play gambling again, which makes them experience loss at gambling. And many of them are getting used to this loss by continuing to gamble.
Making money is enjoyable for everyone, people are ready to devote time and themselves on what is giving them money, but many newbie gamblers do not know that gambling is not working like that, that it is just luck that they first have when they gamble. It will sweet them as they have the luck but later the opposite will start to occur and it may later become a bad time for them.
2052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin is suitable and reliable for staking? on: February 14, 2023, 11:45:39 AM
Osmosis is a good project, the staking is around 20 to 22% APY. Osmosis is a decentralized exchange for Cosmos (Atom) and I believe the coin will at least go 10x in the next significant bull run, that is my guess.

I do not know about EVMOS than the coin did not pump during this last bull run. Osmosis pumped from around $0.6 to $1.25.
2053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling safer than before ? on: February 14, 2023, 08:36:42 AM
Yes I think gambling became much more safe now than it was in the past. There is no more real threat to our lives when we gamble online as when we were visiting casinos. I remember reading stories of people that being robbed on the parking lot after leaving the casino with big winnings. In today's word most of the gambling is done online which gives us another layer of safety and also anonymity.
But what about today that some sites are only existing in a way some novice think they are gambling sites, but instead, they are scam sites.

We have seen issues of people that will complain today that they play game and won and unable to withdraw. Many of the cases like these are legit. Many gambling sites today make deposit easy but make withdrawal very difficult to the extent that some legit accounts are blocked by the gambling site.

But I agree with you, especially in the physical harm side, online gambling makes that not possible.
2054  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much time For next halving? on: February 14, 2023, 07:45:29 AM
if not? then what will be the stand? best to be ready about what will happen mate because the first 3 halving have been a fruit for all investors/holders but the fourth might bring differently here in market.
For someone to be discouraged, it starts like this. For someone to keep postponing when to invest, it also starts like this. For someone not to invest at all and later be regretting it, it also starts like this. What I know is that the next bitcoin halving would be fruitful again which makes investing now to be good.
2055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling safer than before ? on: February 14, 2023, 07:37:38 AM
What do you mean with "safer"? There are still lots of shady casinos out there scamming people. I wouldn't call this "safe". There are also good casinos with good reputation but not everybody is lucky enough to find them. For example 1xBet has a huge ad campaign everywhere, even in this forum and we all know that they are a scam casino. However, they still manage to attract customers and nobody can do anything about that.

I don't think we are in the "safe" zone and we will probably never be.
The safe zone we can have would be the blockchain gambling casinos, but the custodial casinos are the ones that are common this days, people have preferred the custodial way than the noncustodial way.

1xbet is not on this forum, the one I know that is on this forum is 1xbit. Both 1xbet and 1xbit may have a connection though, as some members of this forum said before.
2056  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do scammers scale through on Bitcoin talk? on: February 13, 2023, 01:19:32 PM
You can know a proven scammer through the trust of the person in their profile. Scam is not moderated in this forum that is why scammers are still existing here.
Yes and no.

There are some people with zero trust that can be trustworthy and later be given positive trust, or it can be otherwise

There can be some people with many positive trusts but not trustworthy, example is yogg that let people trust him and gone bad, stealing people's bitcoin. Some people can build trust and later go bad.

Someone's account can even be compromised, there was one case of this in 2021 or 2022, that an account was compromised and later used to scam. That is why signing bitcoin message or PGP key is very important.

How to post on bitcoin forum using artificial intelligence system?

And is anyone on this forum using the AI writing system?

What are the pros and cons of using AI writing systems?

AI writing post against forum policy?
I do not know how to use AI to post automatically on bitcointalk, but I know people do against the use of bots to post because it may not give the accurate information needed and some information from bots can be spam. The best is to write posts offhand from what you know and from the experience that you have.
2058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin could hit $10M in 9 years but more sidechains needed: Blockstream CEO on: February 13, 2023, 09:39:06 AM
Can bitcoin marketcap get to 200 trillion? Expecting the price to be around $10 million at the time.

https://www.reddit.com/r/StockMarket/comments/1111f9w/bitcoin_could_hit_10m_in_9_years_but_more/
Quote
If Back and Finney’s $10 million price prediction becomes true, the BTC market cap will reach approximately $200 trillion.

Blockstream CEO Adam Back believes the price of Bitcoin (BTC) could reach $10 million by the end of the sixth halvening in 2032, as long as Bitcoin layer-2 technology and wallet infrastructure improves.

Bitcoin was less than $1 before when it was created, the price increased multiple times and now at $21800. If anyone told me that time that bitcoin price will get to $20000, I will not believe.

As the price of bitcoin is increasing, the more money pumped can not make its price increase up to when the marketcap was low, this is the reason altcoins with low marketcap but with low money pumped into it had more effect on the price. This makes me think this time again that can bitcoin get to 10 million in 9 years to come?

I look at the history of gold marketcap which is the highest among all assets, I was surprised about how significantly it has been increasing, but gold marketcap as of today is still $12.344 trillion. This makes me think bitcoin marketcap can not get to $200 trillion in just 9 years to come, but I know bitcoin may get to $5 trillion market cap as it gets to 1 trillion in the last all-time-high. I am not expecting the price to be that more than $1 million or less.

2060  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much time For next halving? on: February 13, 2023, 08:19:37 AM
How will the halving affect bitcoin price?
No one knows that.
In the first, second and third halving, what followed but in months were bull run. This is the logic, because the first, second and third were bull market, the fourth would most likely be of bull run too. I am expecting bitcoin to reach all-time-high by 2024 and 2025, we should keep on holding and continue to DCA when the price of bitcoin is still low now.
