They use influencers to create fake hype in the market. Once they reach a reasonable market cap, they start increasing the supply limit, making unlimited coins out of thin air, and selling them. So, whoever is holding these coins gets zero value and gets scammed without even realizing who scammed them. It is the team who scammed you.
