OP, there's no such thing as luck or destiny in what you said, I don't believe in that happening, your joy today can be someone else sadness, what works for you can never work for me so what I'm saying is that you just have to wait for your turn.
If you check some people got employed same day but didn't get promoted same day. If there's no poor there won't be a rich person. And no matter the duration you sink yourself in your job, if it's not your time it will never be your time to grow in any business until God says it's your turn to shine.
2042  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What really makes pastors children rebel? on: April 27, 2023, 10:12:52 PM
Sometimes pastors just make it seems like whatever they are doing like preaching, praising God that their children should follow their footsteps, it's so sad that pastors don't let therir children be who they want to be. In some homes pastors forget that in church they are suppose to be the pastor of the church but at home they're no longer the pastor but a father who have to lead the children in the way of life and probably use some scriptures to address them and not making it compulsory that they [children] must follow their ways.

Some of these actions force children to act the way they feel like whenever they find themselves outside their homes, like they feel free when they're not with their pastor if a father, they get wild oand friends also contribute to some of these act.

Is even hard for a pastor to teach his or her child/children sex education. It would be bad for them [children] to learn those things outside from friends and in a wrong way, so some behaviors of pastors to their children can make the children rebel against them.

When I see that I find it funny and I ask myself why?
I won't blame them but I think is because of over confidence which isn't proper when it come to this forum.
I did it at first when I fit applied for a campaign think that if I wear their Avatar that they'd pick me, poor me, was a novice then but after I saw that sign CFNP I felt bad.
So since then I said won't until I'm being accepted.
To all newbies just wait for your time to come

I still don't know when Arsenal will be fit enough to match Man City and play them in a way that it would be difficult for them [Manchester City] to see the back of the net and even win the game, like they say " to be the best you've to beat the best" and the Gunners ain't close to being the best. Is like Arteta's boys wasn't functioning at all, all departments way terrible tonight and they let the goalkeeper to receive all the shots, I can't say much but I just feel for the goalkeeper Ramsdale.
In all I still believe the Gunners are going to be crowned champions, and if they win the title I won't be that pleased because they did show City that they're true competitor this season.
2046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 26, 2023, 12:11:17 AM
Finally the day football lovers has been waiting for has arrived, a fixture that might tell who would be the champion of EPL. Man City have been chasing the Gunners since the beginning of the season just to sit comfortably at the top of the league table but the Gunners seems to be stubborn by not letting the citizens get pass them that easy. Today's fixture will be a do or die affair especially for the Gunners, because ever since City became title contenders they [Arsenal] have been finding it difficult to crush City like going into the game and just get a win without much stress but I think this time around would be the time for Arsenal to cause much damage to the Citizens.

If Arsenal fail to get all 3pts then it will be game over for the Gunners, but i still feel the  league will end with Arsenal topping the league with just a point to lift the trophy. City is really a difficult team to beat but nobody should underrate any team at this particular stage of the season, they [City] might slip and it will be in the favor of Arsenal today. I just wish Arteta won't make any silly mistake today including the boys after drawing straight 3 games without a win.

Despite the draw between Leeds vs Leicester I think the Foxes pulled out a good game, not giving up and even losing 1-0 they still fought back to getting an equalizer to level the game, all thanks to Kelechi Iheanacho who gave the most important pass that led to the goal. He [Kelechi] didn't mind the injury that held him but he still kept the counter alive that led to the goal, if they continue like they did tonight I think they'd get all 3pt in their next game.

2051  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will you sell because of situations? on: April 24, 2023, 08:47:45 PM
It is a critical situation so you just have to think of one thing, which is save a life first before thinking of something else.
Before the bad guys start making any move on this particular person, they must have gathered all useful info before carrying out that operation on kidnapping the girl. My advice is just forget whatever amount of money or Bitcoin you have and do the needful, which is save the girl.

Everyone do have a free time and some of us say what we don't do here, who are we to speak against it?
Well, in my free time it is either I make use of the football field or play video games/other indoor games or better still I take a nap.

Frankly speaking this whole saga about Hakimi and his wife or should I say ex-wife is just funny, very laughable. Sometimes all these women they're not really getting married because they love the guy but because of their money, some women ain't satisfied with what they have.
In this case and some other related cases I think women such as Hiba Abouk, they get married to rich men especially footballers and pretend to be happy, acting as if they came to stay but their major aim is the money. How I wish other footballers would learn from this funny story. Money is not everything in life.

Thumbs up to Hakimi.

With the heat still on in the EPL, yet again the league leaders who are trying to extend their gap between them and City, they [Arsenal] will take on Southampton who are struggling to exit the relegation zone. Will today be another day of upset or redemption? In the next few hours we'd find out.
The Gunners will try their possible best to get all 3pt because if they don't it would be very difficult to get pass Man City at this stage of the season if they [City] eventually top the table so I believe Arteta won't make those crazy mistakes (in terms of substitution) he made in their last match and also, Saka should forget about his penalty miss and bring out his best in today's fixture.
I'll give the Gunners 85% chance of winning against Southampton.
2057  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is politics supposed to be for the old ones? on: April 21, 2023, 02:56:31 PM
Being young or getting involved in politics won't change the fact that we still have dirty corrupt politicians who still find it hard to quit the game even when they know that they're not competent enough to secure a position.
Your reasoning doesn't quite make sense. It's like saying that people shouldn't get a fireman jobs because there will be always people who set fires, or policemen because there will be always crimes.
And in comparison, people who are capable and interested on changing things but yet choose not to get involved pretty much guarantees that nothing changes.

Young people do cast their vote but haven't you asked why is it that the result doesn't always comes out in favor of what the people voted? Is something you have to be worried about, is as if the vote of the people do not count, the old ones just want to be there (in power) not for the people but for the money.
Just because person you voted for doesn't win doesn't mean democracy doesn't work. It just means that you are not part of majority who won. If your candidate would win even if only few people had voted, that woudn't be democracy.
(depending what sort of voting system are we talking about)

I can't get it with how you drop your lines, all I'm saying is that people who are in the system just look for what they can benefit from other than doing more on what's best for the citizens.
To be honest with you, I can't see my self voting for something that doesn't work out in my favor, politicians are just selfish. As for Democracy, it hardly works or should I say it doesn't work from where I'm coming from.
2058  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Madness of many! on: April 20, 2023, 10:33:28 AM
No Wonder my lecturer give different definition by different authors. Mahwo Shettu said is politics is war without blood shed,

If Mahwo Shetty said politics is war without blood shed, then I'd say it was then, check it now in some countries people do die when it comes to political games. If a party has a stronger candidate and he/she is likely to win and the opposition party can't stop that from happening then the next option is to eliminate that candidate.
All these happens, and innocent people do lose their lives all in the name of "I MUST win" so you can't say politics is a war without blood shed, I disagree with that.
Politicians would go to any length to make sure they achieve their goal.
2059  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is politics supposed to be for the old ones? on: April 19, 2023, 08:21:36 AM
What if some of these old experienced politicians are not really interested in getting new ideas but are interested in how to get rich day in day out? Hmmm, to be frank with you that's their aim, if you look at it from how some of them behave when they start up a campaign, Is like a script that they [politicians] read while doing their rally, and they make promises that they know they can't keep like "we'll build new schools, there will be free medical health care bla bla bla... Is a political thing but why is it always so?

I believe that politics doesn't have a specific age, but you see when old people start thinking about a particular plan that would favor them is annoying but I'd like to see a change if we have 15% of old people and 85% of young people running politics, I'd like to see that some day, that's if they'd [old ones] agree to retire and pass the barton to more younger ones.

Arsenal - Southampton is going to be the opening match of next week. This is another important match for Arsenal as usual on the road going to the league championship. There has been some drop in their performance level recently and this has reached an alarming level now. Because Manchester City are four points behind and have a missing match to play as well. Arsenal don't have any luxury of making simple mistakes anymore.

For two weeks they have been getting 2-0 ahead in the matches but haven't been able to prevent a 2-2 draw at the end. They need to find a solution to this. They have serious issues with defending obviously. Otherwise I really like their performance in offense as always. If they balance their performance again then there shouldn't be any problem at all against Southampton in a couple of days.

I really don't know what's happening to Arsenal, with the way they start any game and end up drawing the game. Is like they have forgotten that the title is almost in their reach, I believe they have to go out to win the game against Southampton and they [Southampton]  are on the edge of falling off the EPL and straight to the Championship, is not a good thing for them.
I just hope this fixture won't reduce much point for Arsenal because Man City are waiting for them [Gunners] to lose again for them to top.
