2041  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: good places to hide paper wallet ? on: October 27, 2015, 02:21:03 PM
Proxiebuier the last one is interesting,
I used the same thing few years before when i wanted to hide money.
It works most of the time and try to not tell anybody, what i would add is to hide in old things like old pc's etc.
2042  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to use escrow when buying bitcoins with paypal? on: October 27, 2015, 02:15:15 PM
Well you should ask the escrow about his paypal account.
Where is he from, does it has the paypal verified, is he able to send money etc..
If the escrow is untrusted then you are going to be scammed.
2043  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many bitcoins do you have to sell to make a living? on: October 27, 2015, 02:11:39 PM
I think that by selling 4-5BTC you can make a living for a month.
It really depends on which country you live but this is more than enough.
I know people that live with only 1BTC monthly but depends on your needs.
2044  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: October 24, 2015, 07:39:59 PM
Quote my address please. 13Fouzc7Qw4meNXeGrbatdzaTESLyMwWUQ

Your post containing the bitcoin address has been quoted.
The address prefix is pretty interesting "focus"
If you can please post a signed message, if not check this post how to sign a bitcoin message https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.0
2045  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: October 23, 2015, 11:27:20 PM
some electronics would be cool to buy

You can buy electronics with bitcoin,
As you are on the forum you can check the goods board or computer hardware board.
Or you can purchase it through bitcoin debit cards Smiley
2046  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Sr.member forum account +trust on: October 23, 2015, 11:25:35 PM
How can you offer this account with 350 activity
when this one with 470 is offered at that price?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1211168.0

It is not all about the activity or the potential activity.
The OP account looks very trusty and scammers can use this opportunity.
Lets not make a chat here, good luck to the op if he can sell it at that price.
2047  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Sr.member forum account +trust on: October 23, 2015, 11:16:42 PM

activity is around 350, potential activity above 400.
What means "potential activity above 400"?

I thought that the activity depends on how many posts we write in specific time?

How you can check/count "potential activity"?

I contacted the OP but it seems that it does not have 400 potential activity.
Really these accounts that have green trust color is not preferably to sell.
As scammers can easily scam, at the moment i don't have any offer, GL.
2048  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: October 23, 2015, 09:30:30 PM
Is it possible in the future that bitcoin price will back to $100 mark? I just wondered what kind of scenario will happened that will strectched down the bitcoin price.

If bitcoin falls so down like $100 then i except this:
The exchange rate of alt coins will be increased dramatically,
There would be a panic to sell or not to sell the bitcoins.
2049  Economy / Digital goods / Re: MIT .edu email on: October 23, 2015, 09:26:29 PM
MIT is an acronym of Massachusetts Institute of Technology
This is a popular universityin united states of america,
OP can you create custom emails or you have random?

I can, but it will take some days. I have one email with a nice and clear name available right now.

What is the full meaning of MIT and how many of such .edu email address do you have?

They guy above me answered it for you.
For now, I have just one, but I can order more if there's enough interest.

From this i believe that you are a reseller aren't you
If it is possible i would like something like bill.gates@mit.edu
Do you provide guarantee of these emails or is there any expire date
2050  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: October 23, 2015, 09:22:04 PM

And another important thing is to recharge my phone credit Smiley
2051  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Auction winner does not pay. What to do? on: October 23, 2015, 09:20:49 PM
restart the auction, maybe include a disclaimer that if none payment, negative feedback will be left.

If an auction has been for a week or two does it worth restarting it?
It is really annoying and maybe the product you are selling does not worth that much.
And maybe you loose a bit the reputation because of these newbies that bid high.
2052  Other / Meta / Re: MrFudged Usernames on: October 23, 2015, 09:18:09 PM
This is getting me angry when i check new posts in forum.
How smart is the man that is creating these kind of users.
Or he is creating these from multiple IPs or maybe he found a bug in forum.
2053  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Auction winner does not pay. What to do? on: October 23, 2015, 09:10:12 PM
I also searched few months ago about this,
But didn't find any concrete answers, personally i would put neutral trust.
If that member still continues then he deserve a negative trust at least.
This is more common to newbie which make high bids.
2054  Economy / Speculation / Re: In your opinion, what price point is "Da moon"? on: October 23, 2015, 09:07:34 PM
The average distance to the Moon is 384403 km, so it would be fairly reasonable, if you set 1 bitcoin to 1 km, that 384,403 USD equals to da moon!

Or if you want miles, it is a bit less: 238,857 USD.

Sounds about right to me, atleast, I wouldn't worry anymore Wink

NorrisK with this kind of speculation you passed our galaxy lol Tongue
From now i can say dream just dream, this could bring us lots of profit.
Around half million to cost a bitcoin lol, as i said before 1-2,000 is more than enough.
2055  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the safest way to store Bitcoins? on: October 23, 2015, 09:05:06 PM
Has anyone tried using Trezor? been tempted to buy one but i don't know if it's any good than using online wallet.

I do not own any Trezor hardware wallet but as i have seen many review here in forum,
It seems that this hardware wallet is one of the most trusted and secured wallet.
It's much more safe than using online wallets, and trezor can be integrated in Electrum AFAIK.

I just checked on their website.. it's more secured than online wallet yet easy to use and supports not only bitcoin but doge,Litecoin, Namecoin, Dogecoin, Dash and Testnet. I might get one when i have the money.

Not everyone has the opportunity to buy a trezor,
Because it cost a lot for new bitcoin people.
But i think that if you hold more than >10BTC a trezor is needed.

Right mate.. at $99 plus shipping fee it's still pricey.

When you look closely it is not much expensive.
Maybe there are also many other ways to secure your bitcoins.
But if you have a good amount of bitcoin trezor should be there.
2056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with coins that are no longer supported? on: October 23, 2015, 09:03:54 PM
I invested in a coin and didn't sold for @1000 satoshi
Thinking that its price will increase much more one day.
And i ended to sell for few tens of satoshi, in this case sell before you sell them at 1 satoshi.
2057  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Sr.member forum account +trust on: October 23, 2015, 08:58:35 PM
I'm offering a bitcointalk forum account with possitive trust, Sr member, good quality posts.

0.35 BTC, first come first serve. escrow accepted.

I don't like to see when these accounts are sold.
But btw what is the trust number? Is it Trust: 0: -0 / +0 ?
Or it is green? Light or dark green color, also what is the activity/potential activity number?
2058  Economy / Services / Re: COINUT AVATAR CAMPAIGN on: October 23, 2015, 05:53:20 PM
I removed my avatar, didnt receive 1 single payment this month.
This is 100% down.

Well this is bad, have you tried to contact izanagi.
I think that he will help you, and i checked the spreadsheet you should be paid !!!
At least at 16 October or max the last payment which was earlier this week.
Also what i have noticed i doubt you reached the minimum 50 posts within a month?
2059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe we need more ways of advertising Bitcoin currency? on: October 23, 2015, 05:48:51 PM
I've tried to make most of my friends believers of bitcoin, but select few understand what it actually stands for.

The others will come later to you to learn about bitcoin.
This is good action and the results are pretty good in your case.
I think putting some stickers on the cars will make people curious about bitcoin.
2060  Economy / Economics / Re: Gandi accepts bitcoin payments on: October 23, 2015, 05:45:30 PM
What is a "registrar" in the context of this company?

It's always great to hear of a new company accepting bitcoin!

This is not a new company in the market,
As far as i know this company is founded in 1999 so almost 16 years.
Their domain name is Registered On May 21, 1999, i consider it as an old company Smiley
