2044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PolyNetwork Hacked, $600 million Lost on: August 21, 2021, 09:34:12 AM
I wonder why the hacker returned everything without even taking any reward for his efforts. Maybe he was affraid of his safety and thought they can track him somehow, when he decides to withdraw the prize.

Do you mean that the hackers returned all those hacked funds back to the PolyNetwork team ? That's strange !!!

I didn't knew about this. Can you please share link to official news about this  ?
2045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 95% of cryptocurrencies are fraudulent on: August 19, 2021, 03:38:46 PM
In a recent speech at the annual PNWER meeting held in Montana, Neil Kashkari, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, sharply criticized cryptocurrencies, stating that "95 percent of cryptocurrencies are fraud, deceptive advertising and noise," and he also said he had a more positive view of cryptocurrencies in 2015. Kashkari also referred to the large number of altcoins and called them "garbage coins."

Maybe he is right but there is no problem if we can invest in few of those coins and get out at the right time making 10-100x profit. Trading is still profitable with these shit coins provided you know when to enter and exit.
2046  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC become the world central currency? on: August 18, 2021, 01:14:44 PM
The current system, which uses fiat currency is not a very sustainable one. The governments are taking loans like there is no tomorrow and the det-to-GDP ratio is already higher than 100% for most of the countries. At some point, it is going to implode. We already saw this happening in certain countries such as Greece and Cyprus. A higher debt ratio means that the national currencies will rapidly lose their purchasing power and those who have savings denominated in the fiat ends up on the losing side. Bitcoin can emerge as a hedge in such situations.

Every strong system come to an end one day because of its flaws. The inflation is now ever increasing in this fiat system that it will very soon collapse and bitcoin will be ready to replace the world currency.
2047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons for newbies loss in bitcoin on: August 15, 2021, 08:04:09 AM
As newcomers have no knowledge of trading and investing, they face losses in various ways and their cryptocurrency is lost. He must have a market relationship before newcomers come to cryptocurrency Must acquire knowledge well. It is often seen that newcomers unknowingly invest in a scam project which is followed by a huge amount of launches and invest in a scam project which is followed by a huge amount.

I don't know who tell newbies that bitcoin is a quick rich scheme that can make them rich over night. When you come up in bitcoin with this approach you will get disappointed soon and also lose your money.
2048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is more real than money in the Bank on: August 14, 2021, 03:40:18 PM
Bitcoin is more real than Fiat is a fact in my opinion because fiat is very easy to manipulate and has unstable prices even the price of basic ingredients from fiat is not comparable to the value of the currency
Fiat in my opinion is nothing more than a piece of paper that is given a value by the government

For sure, the fiat currency is centralized and is controlled by the governments where they can put undue taxes or any sort of restrictions on the money.
On the other hand, bitcoin is pure decentralized and with no one its owner, it can't be manipulated by the authorities.
2049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm now all in BTC. All eggs in one basket! on: August 10, 2021, 03:25:14 PM
I'm now all in BTC and haven't sold a bit since 2013. I have a few Litecoins left somewhere but too few to mention.

I know putting all eggs in one basket is not very wise but I don't feel like investing in anything else right now. Is this a risky move? Maybe yes, maybe not.

I plan HODLing more, might sell a small percentage around November when odds say BTC might boost like crazy.

What's your plan?

I think that it will be much more profitable if you diversify and pick up the bag of different currencies. Even if you don’t trust altcoins, you can choose something reliable like Ethereum and BNB. If you are not tolerant to risks, don’t choose new coins or some that are not in top-100 on coinmarketcap. Also you can invest in stable coins and then invest them in defi-projects to get interests from staking.

Buying only bitcoin is the safest approach but it wont give bigger returns like other altcoins can give. Bitcoin is not 45000$ and when it reaches 90,000$, your investment will be double. However, by investment in smaller altcoins, your investment can easily become 5x-10x range.
2050  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: U.S. infrastructure bill and Bitcoin on: August 08, 2021, 03:49:16 PM
Does printing money in the US affect Bitcoin? So what if $3.5 trillion is passed, will we see an increase in the price of Bitcoin?

Probably the individuals won't do much, but institutional investors, which tend to be sensitive to the signs of inflation, may invest some more into Bitcoin.
Also if Bitcoin won't go up, then US dollar will go down. The result on the ticker will be a rise.

Every time when the dollar and tether is printed, the bitcoin prices go up because it makes dollar more inflationary and bitcoin is the best store of value at the moment.
2051  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin the most Bullish crypto of the moment on: August 08, 2021, 02:02:40 PM
Code:
price $45,019
If you have study, the entire market in the past few weeks you will discover the cryptocurrency market is a system, and this system works together in terms of market value, but at some point, some cryptocurrencies perform more than others e.g. Bitcoin which is the dominant cryptocurrency. Bitcoin at the moment is in another bullish position while other altcoins, except a few, are in a downtrend mode this leads me to the conclusion that Bitcoin is the most Bullish crypto at the moment.

free to add your opinion on this, but the view should be limited to 2021 alone.

Bitcoin is the king. If you analysis, only bitcoin is must bullish for last 10 days while rest of the altcoins are not moving at the pace at which bitcoin is pumping.
Ethereum is the other one which is pumping because of its hard fork news.
2052  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: some people uneducate about Bitcoins on: August 07, 2021, 03:30:36 PM
People naturally fight against what the have little or no knowledge about. Many who find it difficult to understand how the blockchain industry operate  still fight againt it. Educating them more and been patient with the slowness of their comprehension will help reduce the negative vibes the spread around bitcoin and crypto currency at large most of the gurus we have in the industry today at one point spoke against bitcoin but today they are benefactors of the industry.

There is no need to argue with person who do not want to listen or who is not interested in bitcoin/blockchain. I have tried to convince my friend but later realized that i am wasting my time because the other person is not willing to change his point of view.
2053  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Xiomi Portugal start accepting crypto on: August 06, 2021, 06:17:48 PM

We have a series of bitcoin adoption news recently and this trend is going fast. Not only institutions but also now the nations have also joined the race to legalize bitcoin and crypto in their countries.

When you say don't invest all in one basket , it particularly means to invest in different alt coins. It does not refer to investment in bitcoin. You can invest all in bitcoin and there is nothing wrong in this.

2057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Binance too big to fail? on: July 25, 2021, 06:02:48 PM
It's definitely not.

In fact, I'd say that BNB is probably the token that is most prone to any sort of bad news on the regulation side. Any unfavourable news coming out of China, US, and Europe can possibly crush the whole business model of Binance.

Even though they say that BNB is striving to build Defi, it is a fact that most of their profit generation comes from Cefi still. No one will be bailing them out either if they do fail.
Well yet even if BNB is prone to many attacks and bad news yet this still the banner of the Hottest and biggest Exchange now in crypto.

But when Defi was created ? then lets expect more climb and may reach finally the 4 digits dream.

Unless some thing bad is happen and the binance exchange is hacked, only then we can see the downfall in bnb. Other than that there is no exchange which is even close to binance in terms of liquidity and trust.
2058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: you are interested low market cap coins that ? on: July 25, 2021, 05:48:19 PM
There are many. but what I really invested in was only a few.
The low market cap coin to i'm invest in this tokens.
Banana (ape swaap)
ClVA (Clever Defi)
SFound (seedify found
EOS

for now my portfolio is more dominated by big coins like bitcoin, ethereum and BNB. because nowadays it is safer to invest short term. daily trading is better at this time, although the profit earned is small but we can continue to monitor the market and minimize risk
Low market cap coin always not bad but sometimes can life changing opportunity. Apeswap coin used to trading under $1 just few days back but now trading over $2 so more than 100% up. I have able to purchase only few but I should invest more.

Apeswap from 1$ to 2$ is just 2x increase. This project can go upto 10-30x in few months time. This is just one example on how the low cap coins are beneficial. But we should also give the example of coins which move from 10$ to 1$ and people lost a lot of coins.

Low marketcap coins are risky to invest but at the same time they could give much more profits as compare to large caps coins. If you invest in Eth or dot you won't be able to get 50-100x profits but in low cap coins, you can have this much profit.
