I guess it helps a lot if you have at least some knowledge of the game so can make an educated guess about some outcomes.

Game like Dota2 can be appealing for example where you get to bet on individual players; I would assume certain talented players typically outshine, so bets offering points for the top performing players etc would have reasonably good odds of being predicted correctly...

If anyone is into esports arbitrage or can recommend the most favorable betting platforms for esports, that would be very interesting.

Anyone reading through now should know that the portfolio mentioned in the initial post got rebalanced several times, new coins were added

and some were taken out or greatly altered. After the OP stopped updating regularly, one of the last versions of the portfolio did reach

1 million USD, so the experiment can be considered a tremendous success, even though HR might not have cashed out at exactly 1 mil USD...

CryptoSparks... this guy is like a cautionary tale against wasted opportunity, I respond every now and then to his crazy threads because I believe he has great intelligence in some areas and needs to massively improve his attitude and marketing skills  .

You claim the bot has made 495% in about 20 months, let's say 480% returns for 2 years, that's a monthly RoE of 20%.

If anybody believes in your project, of course they would just rather take the 70% profit share deal, which would give them 14% / month on average.

Why would they even consider the lending option, which would give them just 5% / month + hand over full control of their funds to you.
If you come up with ridiculously irrational propositions like that, of course it's gonna raise all kinds of red flags,

and people will just tag you simply because your 1st offer insults their intelligence. I know it's very hard for you to accept that you are wrong, but if you really have a genuine product to offer, just forget about your lending offer, which is totally silly, and stick with the profit sharing deal with trading via API, which is much more advantageous and reasonable for the investor.

Arbitrage is a huge part of trading.

You can be sure that someone is doing arbitrage in all efficient markets, and usually using bots.

So obviously it's happening, whether you can create a fast enough script with the correct parameters to compete in the world of arbitrage trading is the question, and if you are passionate about coding trading strategies, it's definitely worth a shot,

and Python is a great language to do it in.

The classical martingale is a terrible strategy for even short term activity because you are always looking to recover the initial bet size,
so the wins will be very small compared to the amount risked.

If however you do something like roll to win 10x, and increase 20% on loss, at least the compound effect on a couple of losing streaks might give you a better rate of profit for the short run (if you can catch a few big winners and quit before going bankrupt that is)...

Now there are 3 active Merit distribution threads in the local section encouraging people to link their valuable posts, and I would argue that the recent merit distribution has been well balanced and inclusive, maybe with the only proviso that one of the former merit sources seems to have gone quiet for the last 1-2 months, so an additional merit source and / or increase in the quotas of the existing active sources can be beneficial.
