Well asic is really a big problem, the real reason all crashed is because of asics. ETH already crashed 300%, dont think it will crash further, now only pumps and pumps till eth hit $3k but first for that to happen there will be a very good news and then boom and the good news will be soon. Indeed but it's not just the Asics, crypto as whole being heavily under fire by the media and regulators and if you combine that with the instability of equity markets at the moment just magnifies the issue. Some might see crypto as a "currency" but as of right now it is just a trade able asset and as risk appetite is diminishing ATM cryptos are just falling along the trend with X10 volatility. It is definitely a mistake to sell if you're at a loss and you believe in the market for the long term and this momentum will definitely separate the ones in pursuit for yield vs the ones who believe in Crypto. And you will also see how powerful are each group which by the significant loss in market cap well know how strong that crowd is. I purchase some coin today I will see if I buy some tomorrow. |

Pretty much all my gpus are AMD though Also I prefer a sell immediately coin.. maybe sticking with eth is still better right now for me? and pray the monero fork helps you a lot . I've jumped on the rvn bandwagon, but on 3 of 6 rigs I get the error
"Cude error in func 'cuda_check_cpu_setTarget' at line 41 : unspecified launch failure.
All rigs are the same, but the three with issues are in a different location.
Specs are asus z370a, 8gb ram, core i3 8100, 7x 1080ti
80% PL, +76 Core, +74 Mem
I have tried with intensity -19 and --cpu-priority 3
Any other suggestions?

Well The excavator miner from nicehash switches really, really fast. They explained how it works, it has drawbacks too but its pretty good software.

Hit the bitcointalk page for RVN... I last read the solo discussions over there, some have already tried solo mining succesfully and getting 5000 RVNs per block but this was almost 2 months ago.... Its because so many of the top youtube miner guys have posted videos on how to mine it when some showing how profitable it is... basically they got in early over a month ago when the mining was good, now that its starting to taper off quickly, they are making videos on it to catch that youtube money off of it.. Honestly i have kinda stepped back on my further development of mining and research in mining, i have been spending more of my time learning to trade as of lately and have been doing pretty dang good, i have been limiting to myself to the amount i mine each day in my trade funds, since btc is not really been stable in any direction to trade, so i have been trading alts and buying more NEO for my portfolio... i recently broke 1,000 neo staking, now im trying to push for 2,000.... reasoning behind it is i truly think it has a lot to offer in the future and the passive income is nearly on par to buying another rental property for my portfolio. im averaging right at 13 GAS a month, so when it goes back up in value i can cash out on the GAS, since its a finite token that is gone when its consumed for a project or ico TabTrader has made it very handy to have a working life and still trade on the go. Trading is a brutal game with a negative edge (fees) Mining is a safe game with a positive edge power = less then coin cost. RVN can easily be pumped mining and hodl most of it is a far sounder move then trading. But this is not to say trading will make less. I am following up on this statement. AMD card holders are not going to benefit here. Except if monero forks in such a way to help mining for amds. AMD still has an issue since pumping Monero = $$$ it is 3billion not 38million Nvidia is sitting pretty since pumping a new non asic coin will help them and fight back at evil asic builders. Wow, super bargain price. Any rumor on next generation of scrypt miner from Bitmain ?
Also have similar concerns...L3+ price keep dumping. Or maybe it just because of competition agains Innosilicon A4, A6 miners. L3+ is only 28nm and Inno A4 is on 14/16nm. The A4 is only 20% more efficient. The S9 (14/16nm) is 3 times more efficient than the S7 (28nm). Hence, if an L4+ appears, it could be 3 times more efficient. That being said, I dont think an L4+ will appear anytime soon as there is no real need for it. Bitmain can win on pricing by far I believe, especially since they are producing a 28nm against a competitor 14/16nm. Just my 2 cents Bitmain is sending a definite signal that they are clearing their inventory in preparation for release of new technology. The legacy units are now only useful to those with huge scale and minimum electricity costs. To say the l3+ will be "useless" is just plain stupid. Although it will be, to all the stunned morons that piled into mining in the last 4 months at record ASIC and Crypto highs. Time to cull the herd. If it gets to that point, I hope u realize that L3 miners will run the miner even if it makes 10 bucks a month and some will run it even if it makes a small loss. At that point, the lower cost miners will only be making say 20-30 bucks a month, not much either. The cost gap between running at 5 cents and 10 cents electricity rate is only 30 USD per month per miner. There is no winner really. This is the case with the D3 now. Lets not forget the lower cost miners also do have rental and staff cost unlike home miners. Hmmm I now see someone posting that they even run S9 at a loss in the S9 thread. Seems some dont mind running it at a small loss since they like it or something. Its because so many of the top youtube miner guys have posted videos on how to mine it when some showing how profitable it is... basically they got in early over a month ago when the mining was good, now that its starting to taper off quickly, they are making videos on it to catch that youtube money off of it.. Honestly i have kinda stepped back on my further development of mining and research in mining, i have been spending more of my time learning to trade as of lately and have been doing pretty dang good, i have been limiting to myself to the amount i mine each day in my trade funds, since btc is not really been stable in any direction to trade, so i have been trading alts and buying more NEO for my portfolio... i recently broke 1,000 neo staking, now im trying to push for 2,000.... reasoning behind it is i truly think it has a lot to offer in the future and the passive income is nearly on par to buying another rental property for my portfolio. im averaging right at 13 GAS a month, so when it goes back up in value i can cash out on the GAS, since its a finite token that is gone when its consumed for a project or ico TabTrader has made it very handy to have a working life and still trade on the go. Trading is a brutal game with a negative edge (fees) Mining is a safe game with a positive edge power = less then coin cost. RVN can easily be pumped mining and hodl most of it is a far sounder move then trading. But this is not to say trading will make less. |

Hit the bitcointalk page for RVN... I last read the solo discussions over there, some have already tried solo mining succesfully and getting 5000 RVNs per block but this was almost 2 months ago.... I asked mods to more this to alts coins your mobo should not turn on id you turn the psu on. unless the bios has been set to turn the board on when you click the psu on. what most likely is wrong is this mobo's bios is not set to power up when you apply power from the psu. and the other mobo's were set correctly in the bios. many of us have these and attach to the power pin https://www.amazon.com/Electop-Pin-PC-Power-Switch/dp/B0744FKWD4/ref=sr_1_4?your photo does not show all of the mobo there is a way to the power pins on. give me time to get a photo for you once the mobo power up you can set the bios to run correctly and you won't need the pin switch here it is  |

It's on 3 exchanges - CryptoBridge, BarterDex, and Nanex..... of the 3 Crypto Bridge is the only one I've ever done anything with.
