2062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Double Spend attack on Namecoins!!! Start mining now to save Namecoin!!! on: September 12, 2011, 10:05:26 PM
I see that this effort is to test Bitcoin network on a name coin scale. This is very good to check the integrity of bit-coin I will in fact turn off my namecoin miners until after you commit this attack.

Feel free to do that Smiley

Enough miners to take your place.

LOL now im confused... okay so I guess I'll mine namecoins then if it helps you test your attack?

God bitcoin looks so noob to new comers its not helpful when stuff like this happens to exchanges, that is if these trades didn't happen.

2067  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: New 5850s for 13.8 BTC ($92.40) on: September 11, 2011, 03:03:33 PM
Looks like everyone is kind of freaking out so, I came to say I put in the order for the following

3 - 5870's
2 - Cases
1 - mouse

So far the mouse is the only thing that has been processed by that particular supplier and should ship out on Monday(since postal doesn't work on Sundays).
The 5870's and the 2 cases are from the same supplier so I'm currently waiting on that particular supplier to ship it to my business address so I can ship it off to the specified addresses.

As a reminder, Notebooks and Video cards are the only items that are required to be sent to my business address and then sent to the customer(and usually really high priced items). Everything else is drop shipped(including power-supplies and the newly listed motherboards) and should only take a day or two to get items shipped out(not including the time it takes to exchange BTC into USD and then transfer into bank account which on average takes 2-3 days). So it should take at most 5-7 days for items to get shipped off to the customer(if your purchasing notebooks or laptops) but everything else should at most take 3-4 days. When I get more capital I can have things shipped out quicker but since I'm an emerging business I'd rather throw my entire savings into a business that handles exclusively with a risky currency.

Just posted up some name brand power supplies and motherboards, Chat with Customer Service aka "Me" by going to www.CheaperInBitcoins.com and scrolling to the bottom and it will have a link to chat with customer service(if im online of course) you can ask me any business questions you want. I even have a toll free phone number that you can call if you are getting anxitious. I sleep odd hours of the day and don't have a pre-set schedule so you can in theory reach me at any time but its not guaranteed(have to sleep sometime).

Hope everyone likes the newly listed items!
Have fun!

2070  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cheaper In Bitcoins on: September 08, 2011, 08:55:16 PM
Hey man can you order certain video cards? I want one that isn't listed, a Visiontek 6870.

Just queried my suppliers and none of them have that, I'm currently pushing diligently to getting an direct AMD supplier. Which I've applied twice for a partnership over the course of 2 months and no response what so ever, I'll be making some more phone calls/emails with other AMD suppliers but I doubt they will take me seriously until I have a good track record and a few references.
2071  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying bitcoins with prepaid visa? on: September 08, 2011, 08:02:15 PM
I know this dosen't help bitcoin much but when I can't use prepaid visa cards online that are accepted I usually call up the company i'd like to purchase from and they will get your order through. Worked for me anyways!

I trust the following exchanges(don't know if they accept prepaid visa cards):

www.CampBx.com
www.TradeHill.com
www.MtGox.com
www.Bitcoin7.com

Hello,

My name is Radu and I am from Romania. Like the majority of my countrymen i am pour (i earn about 230 euros a month) so i started searching the internet for methods of making money and i found BitCoins.
I installed a client and i joined the mining pool. As i write this the mining program runs at about 5.2 Mhash/s, and as you already know this is very slow (i own a Nvidia 8600 GT, i also tried CPU mining to and it's even slower then this)
I've searched the hardware topic to find recommendations and the best thing i can do now is upgrade my video card but i don't have the money so i need the help of other miners who can spare some bitcoins and donate.
I've found this little gem for 9.3 bitcoins.
http://cheaperinbitcoins.com/product.php?productId=2514
If anyone is willing to donate here is my bitcoin account: 1HAk6awJj9Y34qcF6617cZPXonHffa8LAx
(any donation is welcome, no matter the amount)
Sadly i won't be able to keep you posted on how the donations are going because this is probably the last day i will have internet access until 09/06, i haven't paid my internet bill this month and i can only pay it when i get my next salary on the 6th next month.

NOTE: I would gladly pay a 25% interest to anyone who would sponsor me with all the money in advance

NOTE: I know there is a Loan sub forum in the Economics board but i can't post there  Sad

NOTE: Just discovered IBB... do you think they will give me a loan ? And most important, how do i get in touch with them ?

IBB is nice people they will give you up to a certain amount of BTC and I think you have about a month or two to pay it off, but I would ask just to make sure.
Just look for their thread and send them a private message stating your needs and they will setup a "meeting"/"chat" to talk about your delimia.

Just as a note, none of my suppliers supply that Radeon 5770, and I'm working diligently to getting access to direct AMD suppliers. Also I just sold out all 5870's yesterday. sowie.

2077  Economy / Speculation / Re: Looks like the Manipulator is back in the market. Buy-hold-SELL SELL SELL on: September 08, 2011, 06:23:49 AM
As for easily being able to move the market quickly I literally moved the prices on www.bitcoin7.com from 7.25 to 6.80 from just 70 BTC's. I can only imagine how the other markets are easy to move.
2078  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cheaper In Bitcoins on: September 08, 2011, 06:20:41 AM
Anyone wanting to do international shipping it would be cheaper to go through the following website: www.shipito.com until I get international shipping integrated into the system.(which I don't plan on integrating for another month and a half).
