2061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Women in Gambling on: August 02, 2021, 06:25:32 PM

You made a good list of prominent poker woman, but Vanessa selbst is not a good example in my opinion. She definitely lost more money than she won.

Lol but your judgement is nothing to deny the woman the spot she occupy on the social media which of course was done through a survey I guess so certainly.

Meanwhile, every gambler or trader has their time that they recorded losses both huge and small. Or you have her record to show why she wouldn't be on the record  Huh
2062  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is stop loss and how it works on: August 02, 2021, 10:28:57 AM
I have been in trading for some time now and as I become more experienced in trading; I discover some terms in trading that have captured my interest, as these terms help me gain knowledge to maximize profits and minimize loss.

One among them is the (stop loss feature) some exchanges have developed this feature to help traders set limits on their trading to help put a hold on trading once a certain price is reached, but again most traders still run into losses because they inability to use this tool effectively.

what is the best way to apply the stop loss features that will guarantee zero loss,

Reading your post, I think you don't have a clear knowledge about what stop loss is. Stop loss as the name is, is to stop your trade from further losses. It means you activate an amount of loss you want to incur in a particular trade order.. So when you enter that trade, you already had it in mind that you have lost that portion of money in your account to that trade, or it means you are staking that part of your money to the profit you are gunning for which is your (Take profit).

There are no best way to apply stop loss. Understand that you apply it so that your losses will not run out your deposit.

Trading is for profit or lose. You activate Stop loss to reduce your risk of losses against profit. Once you enter a trade, you either lose or profit , there are no short cut on that but stop loss is good because you have more chances to make another trade after you lose initial order.
2063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Women in Gambling on: August 02, 2021, 09:39:45 AM
Gambling is looked at as the business of men just like football but these none of these are exclusive to the men folks anymore even though it still carry the face of men becyof how society relate with it. Things have started changing with the known saying that "what a man can do , women can also get it done". I'm also yet to see the men area of live that women have not dived into.

On gambling, I see the increasing speed of women also in this area especially with the opportunity of growing online casinos and poker games that they can play from home alone or with their husbands. But for physical gambling that they need to visit a gambling store, maybe they still a little withdrawn not as online either because they are shy or just not convenient for them .

What could make a woman take to gambling ? Can it be for fun or for the need to make profit for the family?

However, I have below women that have distinguished themselves in the gambling games.

Quote
Judy Bayley, known as the First Lady of Gambling, was the first woman in Nevada to own a gambling establishment. This was in the mid-1900s. History has shown that where there is a successful man, there is a successful woman.

Quote
Women continue to succeed in the gambling industry, though they’re still often viewed through a male lens. Today, more women prove themselves in many male-ruled sectors, and this trend is set to continue.

2065  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin transaction is not illegall, Bangladesh bank send mail to CID on: August 01, 2021, 03:27:21 PM

Countries are feeling left behind and are trying to catch up with the developments

I don't agree that the government is trying to catch up with cryptocurrency development, they are doing everything to pull crypto down. For example, banning stories by countries are up every where and trying to develop individual digital currency out of envy to cage citizens is not supportive in my view.
2066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could crypto replace government? on: August 01, 2021, 01:34:02 PM
We don't understand that government is all like control. The government make the society orderly as it is now despite that there are problems and issues of human relations and we can compare that to when if there were no government? The situation is far better with people at the corridors of human affairs, to lead, guide and control the activities of human.

That said, we can't have cryptocurrency taking over government because that will lead to uncontrollable confusion. People won't have any fear to kill the next person because no body to send them to jail  Grin

I think the government and Cryptocurrency can exist together as we see it going at the moment despite government making plans of control but we don't totally see such happening.
2067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need beginner guide in gambling. on: August 01, 2021, 11:41:39 AM

so meaning it is depend on how lucky you are everytime and also there are so many gamblers that died being poor because of wrong treatment .

The main solution ? Never become addicted , that's it .

That's true, many gamblers are made poorer at the end of there lives because they get greedy and invest gains wholesomely into it back. They sell their inheritance, houses, cars as they want to get back on their feet. While some benefit that more lucky. There are no fast ways about gambling except you understand what gives you luck or the game that gives you luck.

To avoid being an addict is the way to profit in gambling because with that you can be in the right senses to know when you are being lucky and not.

2068  Economy / Economics / Re: EU wants to ban crypto anonymous transactions and wallets on: August 01, 2021, 09:29:46 AM

In other words, for each transaction they want to identify the user who sends and the user who receives the transaction, which is easy if one of the parties is a registered exchange user. If the other party is not identified, the transaction is blocked.

Can this be achievable for accounts that are not linked to exchanges because I understand that government can mandate all exchanges to implement kyc for all customers just with binance is attracting customers to do in phases of registration but for private wallets not tied to any exchange? How will that be implemented? Or the apps are going to introduce that during registration.
2069  Economy / Speculation / Re: At last at last, bitcoin increase more than $41,000 on: July 31, 2021, 10:29:11 PM
I think the fuss about price is Tesla and Amazon calling out bitcoin once again. Although Amazon tried to change decision but investors are already buying the first news. The volatility is coming up again and not only bitcoin gaining but altcoins too. This is good for the cryptocurrency market and before the year ends with continuous up move, we can see a new ATH.
2070  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin casino top news on: July 31, 2021, 07:04:14 PM

You just don't know where the journey of the BTC still goes. A few dollars in Faucet BTCs today can be a lot of money in a few years.

True but that depends if the Satoshi from the faucet is able to be withdrawn because faucet are not what they use to be back in time. Cryptocurrency is now very much valued unlike in the past when you can gain a good proportion of coin through faucet. Many coins were gotten through it but the doubts are high now that faucets are still paying. I once got involved in a scam faucet.
2071  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It feel good to see Bitcoin going well on: July 31, 2021, 06:41:05 PM

But for now I think I will be holding this coin even if it crashes the most important thing is that I managed to buy Bitcoin at a lower price and that matters to me, my goal is to have more Bitcoin as possible.

You will make more money with bitcoin if you can spot when it is time to drop so that you can sell and wait to refill again when it is time, that is part of trading. Every day bitcoin drop and rise again and some investors take opportunity of both movement. Hodling bitcoin to it crash and starts gaining again will profit you nothing, you are better when you sell and buy again.

If you have again with binance and you hodl your bitcoin there, you would see how many percentage of profit you would have made if you have sold and how much you have lost daily for hodling. All is a function of price fluctuation.
2072  Economy / Economics / Re: The Role of Government in Crypto on: July 31, 2021, 05:32:00 PM
the primary role of government is to provide a regulatory framework in an economy, Government sole responsibility is to provide a guideline on how thing are to be done within their jurisdictions.

this is not different with cryptocurrency although cryptocurrency is created with high anonymous the truth remains that cryptocurrency co-exist with other factors in the economy such as the bank and the traditional currencies, for crypto to become a full flesh currency it need to under go government regulation because that is the only way cryptocurrency will be considered a legal currency

The government should not have anything to do with regulation of cryptocurrency because it is suppose to be anonymous only encrypted and coded in the Blockchain. Do you know when there is regulation, your identity is one way or another revealed and that is not what cryptocurrency is about. Go and read more about it to understand better. Regulation requires your data just like in the bank while cryptocurrency is a freedom that you are suppose to enjoy to do your transaction or hodl your assets.
2073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need beginner guide in gambling. on: July 31, 2021, 04:32:56 PM

If you are just playing digital games such as a slots game you need is to have luck it's a random thing to win it's about the odds.

I have seen some people in my neighborhood asking how to gamble especially when they see big win from the player, they are mere asking because of such interest of just winning and when there is no winning, they talk negative about it. They don't understand that apart from learning how to play the game, every other thing is about how lucky you can be. Likewise it may be OPS reason too for, gambling is luck. Games like slot, soccer etc are luck.
2074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Weekly/monthly financial statements, which do you prefer? on: July 31, 2021, 03:15:59 PM

As a way to keep track, would you like to receive regular, maybe weekly or monthly financial statements highlighting wins and losses from a gambling site?

Can you share your thoughts please?

Usually if you are not drunk, someone should be able to keep records or be able to calculate your spending  Grin But for the sake of your question, a weekly update is better. This will help to plan on the next week incase you want to increase or reduce your spending. This IMO will be better than monthly update that looks like a longer time. A shorter notice helps to correct a wrong faster than longer time.
2075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will physical casinos accept crypto someday? on: July 30, 2021, 05:06:50 PM
It is still a process that is still opening up. The system is not totally free now as you still have restrictions even with online casinos that ask for KYC. Physically, you have some government making hate speech about cryptocurrency except the government that are adopting like El Salvador, it can commence from there but is a gradual process and casino is yet to be a popular physically gambling setting to start adoption of cryptocurrency. It could take more 5-10 years for that to start happening.
2076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: July 30, 2021, 02:44:42 PM

I think sometimes experience is good so that they will find out for their selves that there's no good on gambling...

Nope experience is not good at the wrong age but right age. If you expose a lady that does not understand good and bad to vices, it will likely destroy the youngestar because they will be carried away with the wrong things and may not get hold back on themselves and it will be too late to turn back. This is why you have some deviant behavior in the society.

So the young ones need to be guided and protected until they are able to think and take their own decisions.
2077  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we really heading towards hyperinflation or towards deflation? on: July 30, 2021, 12:24:44 PM
If they keep injecting money, they will head there some day because this is really different from what they did in the past because the stimulus as of this time is much bigger compared to recessions and housing crisis back then. It will be an implosion that will happen unless they find some solution on what to do with the large amount of money injected.

I think you seem right in some way especially when money are printed and uncontrolled , this will definitely increase the price of goods because consumers may have excess money in circulation to throw around few goods. Plenty money chasing few goods will cause a hyperinflation and that is what this may come to in near future. But against contributors writing about possibility of bitcoin crashing either because of inflation, I don't think say rather we may have more price increase because investors would run to acquire assets which bitcoin is one of them for investment and this will push demand more.
2078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: July 30, 2021, 10:02:18 AM

Any child (except for some rare exceptions) has pocket money for various purposes - to buy food, pay for public transport, etc. In addition, children have phones on which there is some kind of balance of funds. Some sites/games allow you to pay for various services directly from your phone balance. In general, virtually every child has access to money.

With this, it is becoming increasingly difficult to control children when they are out of the home, even schools these days that kids stay along time before holiday to visit home is a challenge. These are some of the effect of civilization and modern day living. However, I think parents being a role model to the kids is the best that can yield result of good behavior until the children are independent to take there own decisions. Morality in the home can help the children conform to proper home training. Early gambling will breed addiction.
2079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coca-Cola gets into NFTs for charity on: July 30, 2021, 02:46:09 AM

NFT is the latest trend in cryptocurrency and many companies are rushing to adopt the idea.

No doubt cryptocurrency space is getting attention. Coca-Cola is a big name world wide and if they are able to continue with this, it will be a big attraction. Coca-Cola actually needs blockchain for there product and that will be a big boost. Many more beverage companies could replicate this as soon as it pulls through because it is still all about competition.
2080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: July 29, 2021, 06:16:30 PM
Children gambling should no way be encouraged because it exposes them to illicit acts, they would try to get money by every means including stealing it to play gambling. I guess there should be restrictions from the online betting companies against children so that if they are underaged they will be denied access. The parents too will have a major role to play to discourage their children against early gambling. Early gambling is the fastest way to become an addict and other hard life.
