2061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anything behind the doge pump? on: January 27, 2016, 01:43:12 PM
I kinda thought DOGE was a long gone coin and got rid of mine a while ago, gutted now when you look at what price it is now but how long it will stay at level who knows.
2062  Economy / Speculation / Re: All alts going crazy, people are fed up!!!! on: January 27, 2016, 01:26:58 PM
It has been a long time since any altcoins have really taken stage and DOGE is now above 100 wow! there will be a lot of happy people with large bags that thought their coins were dead and can now see them back in the game.
2063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: January 27, 2016, 01:10:42 PM
I should have waited until today when it hit 5 before jumping in, think I got a bit carried away yesterday and joined at 7 but think in the long term it should be okay, not expecting to get rich tomorrow on this one.
2064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why don't the exchanges publish their BTC wallets? on: January 26, 2016, 01:14:12 PM
I would think this to be a great idea for transparency, it would build and keep confidence and would highlight any possible issues.

The exchanges probably would not be too happy about doing this but considering what has just happened with Cryptsy it would be a great move if the existing larger exchanges came together somehow and an idea like this could work.
2065  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genesis Mining -- Worth a Shot? on: January 25, 2016, 06:10:14 PM
It will take a year or so to get roi but then with the rewards halving in a few months it will probably take longer.
They have got an x11 option which allows you to mine a few select altcoins but ultimately you would be far better off if you just bought bitcoin or any other coin directly.  Cloud mining is not worth joining at this point in the game, just my opinion.
2066  Economy / Economics / Re: Everyone is sick and tired of Central gov printing a new round of Fiat each week on: January 25, 2016, 06:05:01 PM
There will always be a panic and I guess there will always be fiat, if bitcoin can move to rival fiat in the next few years it would be something to watch for sure.  RBS last week told everyone to sell sell sell which made a few headlines, the time to jump onto bitcon is now perhaps.
2067  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is there a way to see how much gambling sites makes? on: January 25, 2016, 12:08:36 PM
I don't think you would be able to find this out unless the particular site publishes their earnings, many non bitcoin companies tend to do this but I don't think there is anything similar in the bitcoin world.
2068  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did anyone buy during $1200? on: January 24, 2016, 02:48:54 PM
I guess a lot of people would have bought at that levek hoping it would keep on moving, I hope that those people kept their heads and are still holding and didn't lose too much.
2069  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Winnings from faucets on: January 24, 2016, 02:39:43 PM
In general faucets only really ever give out a tiny amount of bitcoin and it would take quite a while to get to 0.01, there are faucets which have dice games on them but you would be better to use an actual dice site.

2072  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: January 22, 2016, 09:20:04 PM
I have signed up but it says not active on the site.  I did join the campaign last year maybe that could have something to do with it?

If you remove the signature you need to be manually re added. I think you need to contact them to see if you can rejoin
Cheers, thought it would be something like that.

2074  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Win free Bitcoins playing the 2048 Game on bitcoin2048.com on: January 22, 2016, 06:21:02 PM
stumbled to this site , I wonder if its still doing okay?
Don't think so, I stopped last year as I realised they were no longer paying.  It was a good little game to pass the time maybe they will come back.
2075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hashpower provider! on: January 14, 2016, 11:11:16 AM
Thanks Genesis-Mining. It's nice to see the website up and running now. Thanks also for your compensation for the downtime with added hash rate to my contract.
Just a question, was there anyone else who had to reset their password and their wallet receiving address after the site came back up? Or do I have a bad memory?

Anyways, all is fine now. Thanks again GM.

Quick edit: I have received all mining payouts on the days the site was down. However, on their website it says I didn't receive them, which really uglifies my earnings chart with a flat line for 3 days. Could you please check into that? I can PM my account details if necessary.

I just logged in also and had to reset my password and setup my wallet address again, thought it was weird so came here to find out what's going on.

Payment received thanks.
2077  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I send cash in mail? on: January 13, 2016, 10:26:12 PM
I think that is probably not the best idea as there is a good chance your money will never get to its destination.  Depending on how much you are talking about you could use a bitcoin atm to purchase bitcoin that accepts cash payments, this would depend on whether the is one near you.
2078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal Just Appointed This Bitcoin Startup Entrepreneur to Its Board on: January 13, 2016, 06:09:11 PM
This is good news and maybe they might start accepting bitcoin, although they could be looking to create their own blockchain and their own altcoin so it would make sense for them to grab this guy, we will just have to watch this space.
2079  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Making around $37 per BTC with instant trading on: January 13, 2016, 05:07:34 PM
Yeah people need to be a bit careful with Paypal as it can be reversed and there is the chance of being ripped off.
2080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: AVATAR CAMPAIGN[BUCKS] $$SwagBucks$$ | Get 10 BUCKS each week on: January 13, 2016, 03:58:38 PM
Is it going to be another coincidence to this? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1325261.0

Need to be more careful with new altcoins these days. Undecided

Yeah with a lot of of these coins it is sketchy, I never downloaded the wallet just used the Yobit address but judging from the lack of appearance and the thread you highlight I'm just going to remove my avatar now, I think there's been enough exposure and the value of Swagbucks isn't what it was when I signed up so not really losing out on anything.
