2061  Economy / Gambling / Re: Free Sports Betting Tips Website on: April 30, 2016, 08:24:18 PM
It is always good to see more free tips services. I will gonna bookmark your site and check it after some time how is your win-lose ratio after couple dozens of bets.
And if you want tips from people it is nice to post your BTC address too. (On top of that tipping service you already had). Good luck.
2062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your gambling strategy on: April 30, 2016, 01:41:08 PM
I notice on my smaller bets I win but on my larger bets I not get them at all.
Is this always possible not to win these ones for alot more mbtc? Or is it just meant to be?

I guess it is one of the marketing strategy of gambling sites. Letting bidders to win a small amount.

But when large amount is at bid they would probably don't let you win or lower chance to win.
That misconception is old as gambling itself. And it is the most believed lie in the book. Casinos will try to entice you with various promotions and events.
They double your deposit, give you lower House Edge for a short time, organize Happy Hours etc. But Casinos don't tinker with bets - not with provably fair system implemented.
Bitcoin community is very vigilant, people would notice that something like this is going on behind the scenes.
2063  Economy / Economics / Re: Norway lowers interest rates by 0.25% on: April 30, 2016, 12:17:37 PM
I think over the coming months we are going to see this in most countries around the world and even more negative rates.

The negative interest rate will make the currency less valuable. So the bitcoin will be more valuable relatively.
This is not exactly true according to my information. In Japan government and banks introduced negative interest rates.
And still Japanese Yen is 3rd most tradable currency in the world despite very low/negative interest rates.
2064  Economy / Gambling / Re: [WIN WIN WIN] What you think about this match? (Tennis) [WIN WIN WIN] on: April 30, 2016, 12:06:49 PM
New Premium Pick with odd @ 4.76 https://gourl.io/0yrwa
Match start @ 15:52 , mix bet parlay.
https://gourl.io/0yrwa
Really bro 3$ is too much for just a tips with 4.76 odd which is also not sure will be a win. Its better you give free tips with low odds and than only sell premium odds.
I've seen many matches with 1-1.5 which were harder to predict that and ended causing me to lost money. You can always lose - no matter how high or low is match odds.
I would consider tipster good if I have see around 100 bets - only after high bets number like this we can see some patterns.
2065  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: HYIP: Are there any benefits? on: April 30, 2016, 12:02:04 PM
HYIP are very similar to gambling. You can profit from it if you are watchful and abstemious  But you have to realize the moment you want to get up from the table and go home.
Most people are oblivious to that and they will stay in HYIP until the end - when it is usually the end.
2066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: April 30, 2016, 11:41:37 AM
Op, with that $3000 budget you have you shouldn't be investing in casino - you should create your own casino. With that money you can easily buy decent casino scripts.
With correct promotions and good marketing you can build your own brand. Don't pay for someone else's dream, instead build your own.
2067  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. Now Accepting Ether ! on: April 30, 2016, 11:30:56 AM
Hello DirectBet,
I want to ask if you are planning on introducing esport betting section on your site?
Seeing how you are easily are one of the best bitcoin sportsbooks available but you still have not esport is kinda disappointing for me.
You already have Politics and Eurovision betting section why not add esport as well?
2068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your gambling strategy on: April 30, 2016, 11:23:03 AM
What do you think is better - gambling on smallest bets on games with jackpots or just gambling high rolls? Playing marginal hi lo - odd 2 with 100% or odd 3 with 100%? Slots or cards? I like to gamble, share with me your strategies, wining or losing...
There is no valid strategy which bring you win in fully randomized environment of most casino games. Martingale is proven to be the same as flat betting after series of bets.
There is no reason to use it - it only gives you illusion that you can recover from your losing streak.
2069  Other / Meta / Re: Graffitti to unban Dank! (Gleb Gamow on crack) on: April 30, 2016, 11:06:06 AM
Why Dank was banned in the first place? It is not like he was spamming or something.
And even if he defrauded that money on his music festival this is not valid ban reason according to forum rules.
2070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: April 29, 2016, 11:38:21 AM
Lately I found out that there is huge cumulation in Lotto. I bought some tickets (around 10) and waited for a draw day.
And guess what? I won nothing - nothing at all, not even lowest fixed prize for hitting 3 numbers.
2071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be profitable in the long run! It is possible! on: April 29, 2016, 11:04:28 AM
Grats to jeanfr for becoming the top better on the site.
With 463.95807512 BTC bet that makes him #1

He started with a big 6 btc win with 0.0055 as the bet he hit 1111x.
The win can be found here: https://bitvest.io/results?query=33036618
Then got up to 15 btc then cashed out 10 btc then continued to take the house down.
Finished with a 9.6 btc profit becoming #1, an having one of the longest runs to date on bitvest.

It means nothing - it is only short spike of luck. And we all know that it can happen once or twice in a lifetime. Someone will be a winner.
But in the end you won't be able to recreate this win ever. You can't be a winner every time.
2072  Economy / Services / Re: [Hiring] Need someone to get me e-mails from bitcoin related casinos. on: April 29, 2016, 10:42:56 AM
How much are you willing to pay for collection that email list for you? Do you have any requirements about number of emails you want on your list?
It must be more than 100?
2073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spanish League Prediction Thread (La Liga) on: April 29, 2016, 10:38:08 AM
odds are pretty high to take Real Betis vs Barcelona Both teams to score.
but I do not know why I doubt Real Betis will make a goal, because I saw the previous match of barcelona always win with a big score without conceding.
Are we talking about the same Barcelona which lost like 3 games against worse opponents recently in a row?
As I was fond of Messi and Barca earlier this year but now I think it is not their season, I won't bet on them anymore.
2074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: April 29, 2016, 10:35:04 AM
As I learned that you can't earn your fortune by gambling and I treat gambling exclusively as method of entertainment with little bit of thrill.
I would still gamble even if I was rich, just instead of gambling with 0.01 max as I do now I would be gambling 1 BTC or more...
2075  Economy / Gambling / Re: CasinoTycoon.net - the first bitcoin virtual economy on: April 29, 2016, 10:30:17 AM
This game need more recognition and credit. I looked at main site and this project seem rather complicated at the first glance.
It is not another simple Dice site for sure. But I have a question - Op, you are advertising that you can run virtual casino in your game and profit from it.
But how about other types of companies you can run? How can you profit from being a "cheap wood' company?

2077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest gambling victory on: April 27, 2016, 11:23:34 AM
I'm tired of seeing so many depressing post about gambling losses so I'll start with something more positive.

What is the biggest win(s) you have so far gambling relative to the amount you started. I'll start,

Started with around 100 clams and took it to 5k clams rolling dice and wagering on random silly game with another degen.

3 dollar on a wheel of fortune slot machine winning 1000 on the first spin.

Took 1 BTC to 15 on Primedice.

500 dollars to 25k playing blackjack at a real casino.

Such good times....
Can I ask how much money you wagered in total? And what are yours gambling statistics? It is great to see someone managed to take huge wins like that.
But I suspect that prior to that you lose much more coins trying to get there. I hope I am wrong tho.

I, myself, am lowroller and I don't have luck with huge multiplier like + x1000 or so...
Therefore I wasn't able to score big so far...
2078  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinbase or Xapo for directbet ? on: April 27, 2016, 11:17:00 AM
As long as you tumble your bitcoins before gambling, I don't think it really matters where you buy them from.  I have used the bitcoins that I bought with coinbase to gamble at SWC and have never had a problem with my coinbase account.  But I have never sent them directly from coinbase to SWC.  If I did, I'm sure they would lock my account right away.
If you buy bitcoins - and you already transferred them to your wallet. There is no way that any service you bought it from or/and original owner could do anything about it.
These coins are yours and yours alone from now on. Coins are also not monitored further (unless you decide to keep them in your Circle account - Which is unadvised anyway).
2079  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: April 26, 2016, 08:00:32 AM
Shaping up as big year

Cheesy
Don’t know about 2017 but 2016 is really the year of bitcoin, as in this year bitcoin has got a lot of success also the halving is occurring in this year, with that a lot of people are adopted to bitcoin.
And that is why it is too early to say if 2016 will be successful, because we will have that stir around halving being close.
I think that around October it will be safe to say if halving was good for bitcoin market or mess things up.
2080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - A New Form of Money on: April 26, 2016, 07:51:35 AM
Hey guys,

I am relatively new to the bitcoin world, and was fascinated at the fact of a concurrency. I have some questions about bitcoin, if any of you fine gentlemen (or gentlewomen) would be kind enough to answer:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What is Bitcoin - a brief history

Does it have the characteristics of money? Is it able to fulfill the functions of money?

How popular is it? In which countries is it popular? Do people trust/have faith in it? What would be its trend of popularity?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please provide some evidence for your answers, such as a link to the website the information came from. This is so I can verify validity of data, and explore more ideas discussed in the links that you send me.

Thank you all so much, may bitcoin prosper for eternity!

Why don't you see some great FAQ we have at https://bitcoin.org/en/faq It will answer most of your question in a efficient way.
If you want know some advanced info, please ask further question.
