2061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Free Gambling Course provided by OnlineGambling on: April 05, 2022, 11:10:40 AM
I have never played BlackJack and I don't plan to play BlackJack anytime soon.I've always been more interested into poker and I wish that more crypto casinos could publish their own online poker courses for free.
Having online poker/blackjack courses available for free is a great marketing approach that will attract many newbie players. At the end of the day, attracting newbie players might be a better strategy for a casino, rather than trying to attract all the hardcore gamblers.
2062  Economy / Economics / Re: How did we all get here? on: April 05, 2022, 06:45:20 AM
How did the USA get there?
1.Expensive wars in Iraq and Afghanistan(during the Bush and Obama administrations)
2.Paying off for the "too big to fail" banks and corporations during the 2008-2011 financial crisis.(the Obama administration spent around 5 trillion dollars).
3.Owning the "global money printing machine",since the US dollar is the global currency.
4.Lowering the taxes during the Trump administration.
5.Keeping the interest rates really low(or negative).
6.Allowing the rich and the big corporations to avoid taxation by using offshore companies.
7.Refusing to cut federal costs, because the voters are going to vote for the other party.

There's no point of having a balanced federal budget, since you could print all the money you want. Grin
2063  Economy / Gambling / Re: PRIMEDICE weak self-exclusion system on: April 05, 2022, 06:23:07 AM
Asking a casino to improve it's self-exclusion system is the same as asking an alcohol/tobacco store to stop selling alcohol and tobacco to people, who are addicted to drinking and smoking. It simply doesn't work.
Even if the Primedice self-exclusion system is way better, what can stop you from betting on another crypto casino? There are hundreds of crypto casinos out there. Can you self-exclude yourself from all of them?
Have you ever tried to seek professional help about your gambling problem?
The forum members here can you give you advise about your problem, but it's up to you to find a way to control yourself and your behavior.
2064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you, or would you ever use a Bitcoin ATM? on: April 05, 2022, 05:57:41 AM
There aren't any Bitcoin ATMs in the town where I live.
Even if there were Bitcoin ATMs,I can't find any reason to use one. There's no point for me to use an BTC ATM.
Bitcoin ATMs are a dead business model,if you ask me.We have computers and smartphones, what's the point of ATMs?Using a BTC wallet on your computer or smartphone is way more convenient and probably cheaper.
ATMs are good for fiat money, not for crypto.I've been using ATMs for fiat money and I won't stop doing so.
2065  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Using BTC on Amazon Store on: April 04, 2022, 11:30:32 AM
AFAIK,new members on purse.io can only purchase physical gift cards on Amazon in exchange for BTC.
You will have to get thru several trades,in order to increase your account rank and unlock purchases of physical goods from Amazon.I'm not sure if this is currently the case with purse.io.
I was playing around with purse.io 2 years ago,but I decided to stop using this website, since I don't find any benefit from using it.
Purse.io is more or less dead, since most of the traders moved to alternatives like Paxful.
I have the feeling that websites like Purse and Paxful are mostly used by gift card scammers(people, who steal gift cards and redeem them for BTC).
2066  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-03-30] Apple is rumored to announce support for Bitcoin payments on: April 04, 2022, 11:08:47 AM
This seems like fake news to me.There isn't any valid evidence about those rumors.
Apple always had a more self-sustained business model.
They usually don't want to rely on other companies(except when they are outsourcing production in Asian countries) and they don't want to use technologies over which they don't have control.
Apple is the kind of company that would create their own "applecoin",rather than adopting Bitcoin or some altcoin.
I don't mind them adopting BTC payments, but there's no reason for them to do so.Who is going to use Bitcoin to buy an iPhone or Mac?Everyone is expecting the BTC price to hit another ATH sooner or later.
2067  Economy / Economics / Re: WTF? Food prices expected to raise up to 50% in German supermarket. on: April 04, 2022, 06:36:23 AM
20 to 50% seems pretty exaggerated. The food price growth will be more like 10-25%.
The European central bank must stop with the quantitative easing, but this might create big problems with the government debt of southern European counties like Greece and Italy.
Germany will have to re-launch it's nuclear power plants,in order to reduce the energy production by gas power plants. This will take some time.
I really hope that the war in Ukraine ends before June,so that Russia and Ukraine will be able to export grain and foods to Europe(if the western sanctions get removed).
The high levels of inflation in Europe and North America will continue in the next few years.
2068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 04, 2022, 06:09:14 AM

Xavi really became Barcelona's savior. After being mired in the middle of the standings, Barcelona managed to rank 2 after beating Sevilla at Camp Nou. Barcelona must win every game in its path to put pressure on Real Madrid who are at the top of the table, losing point Real Madrid is an advantage for Barcelona. Real Madrid must be wary of the warnings given by Barcelona, because if Real Madrid slips, Barcelona will take advantage.

Real Madrid would never slip, because the referees are here to help. Angry
All three penalties for Real Madrid against Celta Vigo were hilarious. That's why I've never liked Real Madrid that much.
They have all the money and all the great players in the world, and yet they still have to rely on support from the referees in order to win multiple matches.
The referees were supporting Real Madrid in the Zidane era as well.I remember many games, where the referees gave ridiculous penalties for Real.
Xavi has the potential to become the next Pep Guardiola for Barcelona, but they need better players in defensive positions.
2069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain.com Wallet KYC on: April 04, 2022, 05:45:03 AM
Back in 2012-2013, I had a few Blockchain.com wallets, back then, no details were asked, there wasn't even an option to login via email. Recently, I received an email from them about a promotion. They were offering $5 in BTC, if you completed the KYC process, by providing your personal details, such as residence, uploading your driver's license, or other form of identification.

On top of that, they've now added a section about taxation of cryptocurrencies, providing you with the ability to export tax statements.

What are your thoughts about this? Do you think more and more services will adopt similar techniques?

A lot of things have changed in the cryptocurrency industry since 2012-2013.
Were you sleeping under a rock in the last 10 years. Grin
Yes,more and more services will "adopt similar techniques",because they are required by the laws and regulations.
It's weird that Blockchain.com is offering a financial incentive,in order to force it's users to ID verify themselves.
Most crypto exchanges would just say that ID verification is mandatory and won't offer 5 dollars.
Perhaps Blockchain.com wants to treat it's customers in a better way, despite the fact that I've heard many horror stories about people being scammed by this company.
2070  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which rookie candidate will make a better trader and quickly too? on: April 03, 2022, 11:31:20 AM
I would say none of the above options, but both options can be helpful along the way.
The best way to learn is by practice and by trial/error.
That doesn't exclude the two options you mentioned, but it depends of the "teacher" and the quality of the tutorials. If the mentor is really good, that would be a great supplement for the rookie traders, who are his students.
If the mentor is a fake "trading guru",then everything would be a waste of time and money.
The same thing applies to the online courses and tutorials. There are some good online tutorials and there are multiple shitty/mediocre online tutorials as well.

Billionaire Says Bitcoin May Significantly Exceed Its Previous 2022 Goals

Bitcoin has no goals. Bitcoin is a tool. A person wielding a tool may have a goal, but the tool itself has no goal.

I agree, but this is just a clickbait title. We shouldn't take it so seriously.
Many people view Bitcoin as investment tool and many Bitcoiners think that the Bitcoin price moving up is the most important thing in the world.
Mike Novogratz is a well known Bitcoin bull for years.Of course that he's going to be extremely bullish about Bitcoin. What he says is a bunch of gibberish. He's using BS to justify his bullish predictions.
The Bitcoin price will increase severely because of the war Ukraine?
There's a war in the last 38 days and the BTC price is still pretty volatile and going up and down.
I don't see a FOMO wave and a clear bull run in the Bitcoin market.
The Bitcoin price will increase because of the Metaverse and Web3?This is pure BS.

So ... Once again, "Russia as the cornerstone of the world economy" ? Are you seriously Huh? Why not Spain? Or like Italy?
Do you know why I laugh? Because in the WORLD economy, the share of Russia is 1.99%, and Italy is 2.44% !!! What is the impact of Russia on the world economy? 2%? The Italian economy is POWERFUL!

Comparing GDPs of different countries is pretty oversimplifying and kinda misleading.
Russia exports oil, natural gas and grain, which are essential for the global economy(especially for the European economy). Natural gas is being used in many industries and what would happen with the Italian economy,if Russia stops selling oil and gas to Italy?I assume that Italy might start buying oil and gas from somewhere else(at a higher price),which will eventually slowdown the growth of the Italian economy and lower the standard of living in Italy.
What if Russia stops exporting grain? This might create food shortage in Europe.
Anyway, this is an economic war between Russia and the western world, not between Russia and the entire world. Both Russia and the western world will suffer a lot from the sanctions.
2073  Other / Off-topic / Re: Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor on: April 03, 2022, 06:27:07 AM
The industry is what it is.
Nowadays, professional sports are a business.Everything is about money.
Such fights are more like entertainment, rather than actual sports. There's nothing wrong with that.
If you want to watch sports, there's no problem watching amateur boxing or something else.
Professional boxing and professional MMA fighting are all about making more money, getting the attention of the crowd, getting bigger and higher paying sponsors and all that BS.
The Paul brothers might be clowns(or should I say "entertainers"),but they are making money. At the end of the day, this is what matters the most for them and for the fighting sports industry.

Could LTC be used in Metaverse projects

I don't think that any developer would pick LTC for his Metaverse project.
Why are you asking this?Do you think that Metaverse projects can pump the price of Litecoin?
There's nothing special about the Litecoin project and blockchain.Nothing bad,but nothing great as well.
Litecoin was created with the purpose of being Bitcoin's competitor, but it's basically identical to Bitcoin, which kinda makes it worthless.I have more respect for ethereum, because ETH was built with the purpose of being different than BTC and to offer something different.
You can stick with your LTC coins if you want to.I don't expect the LTC price to collapse severely in the future.
LTC is the oldest altcoin and it has it's own community of believers, but the lack of good developers is what might make the project to fade away.

2075  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Български (Bulgarian) on: April 01, 2022, 12:28:04 PM

Yeah right, the same bullsihit about freezing to death without Russian gas.
I wonder how did we manage before when the USSR was not selling one cubic meter of gas to the western world, oh wait, what happened afterward? One crumbled and the other was perfectly fine!

The USSR actually did sell oil and natural gas to western Europe. The decreasing oil prices during the 80s had a major negative impact on the soviet economy.
Anyway, the problem is where to buy rubles,in order to pay for the natural gas.The Russian central bank is under heavy sanctions,so the western banks cannot buy rubles from there.
I'm 99% sure that the EU will refuse to pay with rubles, but will the Russians stop the gas and get rid of their number one income source? It has been said, that Asian countries cannot fully replace European countries as natural gas buyers.
2077  Economy / Gambling / Re: FoggyStar Brand New Cryptocurrency Casino🔥🔥🔥Up to 1 BTC Welcome Bonus on: April 01, 2022, 05:25:04 AM
It's hilarious how every new crypto casino claims to be "the number one" new crypto casino. Grin
7000 games is an overwhelming number.I like casinos that have a decent number of good games.
I don't get the point of offering so many games, since most of them would have the same game mechanics and just different graphics.
Your website looks really professional and you have a gambling license, which is great.
You don't need an absurdly long forum thread here,my browser also failed to load this super long image.
Sometimes less is more.Sometimes over delivering and providing an outstanding amount of options to your customers can have the opposite effect.
Anyway,good luck with this casino,OP.

2078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Smith inu got me good on: March 31, 2022, 11:32:34 AM
Can those shitcoin creators use the name of Will Smith without his permission?
I really hope that Will Smith sues those shitcoin scammers for using his name without his written permission.
A big problem is that the "developers" of such shitcoins will remain anonymous.
250% price dump isn't that much.I was expecting more like a 10000% price pump. Grin
Almost nobody cares about Hollywood celebrities nowadays.Even the Will Smith vs.Chris Rock beef was kinda boring. Grin
2079  Economy / Economics / Re: china's harsh exploitation on crypto assets on: March 31, 2022, 11:09:11 AM
You are kinda late with your post.China banned Bitcoin/crypto months ago.
The reasons why China banned crypto have already been discussed.
1.To support the "digital yuan".
2.To reduce energy consumption by the cryptocurrency miners.
3.To reduce capital export outside of China.
4.Fighting money laundering and tax evasion.

All those reasons are questionable and we already know that there are multiple ways to export capital outside China without the help of Bitcoin.
Many people inside China will keep using cryptocurrencies despite the ban.I'm not sure about whether or not those people will use crypto in order to purchase assets outside China. This doesn't seem like a valid point to me.
It would be nice if China returns to the crypto world, but the crypto world is doing just fine without China.
2080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Gambling Site on: March 31, 2022, 06:26:56 AM

The analog way of playing most of the games Has fade away for the new digital technological generation. Which means, the traditional way of playing most of the games is no longer existence. And most of the games are now playing online.
And crypto currency also introduced it currencies to be accepted in the gambling space.

Physical casinos still exist and they are doing quite well in some countries.Your statement is wrong.
Offline gambling will continue to exist forever.

Quote
So in this regard, some of the gambling sites accept only crypto Currencies while some gambling sites accept both the fiat currencies and crypto currencies.

So what?Is this a problem? The casinos can accept both crypto and fiat payments.Accepting fiat payments comes with KYC verification, but there are players, who want to gamble with fiat money.

Quote
So with this which of the gambling sites and sites which I have mentioned before is the best? Is it sports or casinos?

Comparing sports and casinos is like comparing apples and bananas.
They cannot be compared and they can both exist without competing against each other.
I don't understand the point of your forum thread,OP.
If you really want to find the best online casino on the planet just do your own research.
