I would not be surprised if one of the IMF conditions was that the money were not to be used to pay Russia for its gas.
And they have the insolence to blame Gazprom for cutting off the gas supplies to Ukraine... Or, as a conspiracy theory, if there was such a condition (the money was not to be used to pay off the debt), the goal of the IMF could be to stifle Ukraine through Gazprom (no gas means no heavy industry and no exports) and make it into an eternal debtor (see Argentina)... |

Those were the terms set out by the original operator/owner of the actual deal, but those terms were actually just copied directly from Ritz's thread any way. Multiple accounts make sense only if you're going to submit more posts than the upper limit set for the campaign. I'm curious how anyone is going to write more than 3,000 posts a month (and not get banned at that)... |

Time works against them and Ukraine as a state... Right Sector and its allies are having a strength of close to 100,000. And they can easily get extra support from Poland. On the other hand, the militia in Donetsk and Lugansk number less than 10,000. If Putin does not supports them, then it is just a matter of time. And why can't they take Slavyansk yet? Even if troops that are loyal to Kiev outnumber the militia in Donetsk and Lugansk, how many of them are ready to engage in actual fighting? Also, as all the post-Soviet history shows, the insurgent regions are quickly flooded with seasoned volunteers (as it was in Transnistria, Abkhasia and South Ossetia)... |
