20721  Economy / Speculation / Re: Play (sell/rebuy) it or hold? on: April 06, 2016, 04:02:40 AM
if you can keep an eye on the price whether manually or better yet with some kind of automation then sell and wait for the price to go down and buy again.

the keeping an eye part is for a possible situation when the price starts going higher to buy again in order to not miss out.
20722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your definition of being Bitcoin Rich or wealthy? on: April 06, 2016, 03:59:24 AM
well, i think there is not set number for considering someone rich and when it comes to bitcoin it gets more complicated because the price of bitcoin is always changing and someone who doesn't have that much bitcoin becomes rich if the price goes up.
20723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you honestly think Bitcoin toys would help us?! on: April 06, 2016, 03:56:28 AM
It could be an interesting thought, you'd have to make the toys fun though. No kid wants to play with a big BTC
Actually, kids don't really mind what they're playing with. Kids have played with sticks, and novelty items for a while now. Shoes, jewelry, daddy's ties, etc. The point that should be established here is whether or not the toy is teaching the child anything.

it depends mostly on the age of the kid.
yes the very young kids don't mind playing with any object they can get their hands on but as they grow up they start to be more picky and also learn from their games if they are also educational games.
20724  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 BTC = 1000$ in 2016 on: April 05, 2016, 04:09:14 AM
If the halving goes right maybe if not the opposite might be possible.
hopefully we don't see problems then see ether take tons of bitcoin users.

what does it mean if halving goes right?
halving is not a chance event that can go right or wrong, by the time the specific number of blocks are mined the reward will be halved, all the rest that may or may not happen are just hype and speculation.
20725  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HELP on: April 05, 2016, 03:56:20 AM
if you want to get involved with bitcoin and earn money from it, in my opinion the best way is to invest in bitcoin and hold it for a long time until the price goes up.
also you can try trading too, which is a little hard and risky but there is a good opportunity of earning profit.

but remember all of these are risky, so do go all in and invest what you can afford to lose.
20726  Economy / Speculation / Re: End of the 2016 - BTC Price Prediction on: April 03, 2016, 05:17:08 AM
if you are looking for technical analysis, i have to tell you that it doesn't exactly work with bitcoin. it is good to know it and predict the movement but you can't expect the same success rate as other markets with TA.

you can check here if you are so interested in it though: https://www.tradingview.com/s/bitcoin/
20727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 15 consecutive losses and counting - FORTUNEJACK ! on: April 03, 2016, 05:12:20 AM
i gave up on strategies in gambling a long time ago, nothing is working and all of them no matter how you feel good they are, will end up losing. so now instead i just roll with my luck and hope to win and never follow any pattern any more Smiley
20728  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: April 03, 2016, 05:02:19 AM
Cool big gambler hit all bets 0.25 BTC  win change x 20 until now total a whopping 29 BTC maybe he has thousands of BTC in your account  Undecided
whether the gambler is here? I wanted to know what she was thinking

[i m g]https://i.imgur.com/jnWnWuy.jpg[/img]

you should check the overall stats not just a couple of bets, what i see is just one win and god knows how many more losses, you should scroll up and down to see the real results not just one win in the middle of 14 losses it might be 40 losses and one win.
20729  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any bot for traiding? on: April 03, 2016, 04:55:51 AM
there are a handfull of bots that are working and actively updating like C.A.T (which is not free), Quatloo (which is kind of free), ... i have never used any of them so i can't relly give any feedback but you can find their announcement and read the feedback:

here you go: https://www.google.com/search?q=trade+bot+site%3Abitcointalk.org

20730  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: April 03, 2016, 04:50:53 AM
I'm afraid if halving makes prices rise and then a lot of people sell their bitcoin?
I'm afraid selll everything will happen at that time
What will happen to the bitcoin?

a lot of us will never sell our bitcoins, at least not all of it.
besides if the price rises into a bubble there is no other way except for it to go back down, so selling is inevitable.
nothing will happen to bitcoin just as nothing happened to bitcoin last time (>$1100) it will go back to $400-$500 and continue being awesome.
20731  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: April 03, 2016, 04:37:29 AM
Nowadays the price of bitcoin matters a lot, as a large number of peple have adopted bitcoin only because they want to be benefitted with the price of the bitcoin, for which they have heard that in the coming halving it will be increased. also these people have huge piles of coins and if the price drop they will lose theiir wealth.

I agree, the price will always matter as long as there are many people using it.
It's recommended to always keep an eye out on the price.

Price of bitcoin highly matters, if bitcoin is considered to be a earning of daily routine rather than considering it as a saving for future.

Yes bitcoin price really does matter because people are earning from daily activities and traders have been gaining a lot of money from bitcoin.
I think traders would prefer fluctuating prices or price movements are fast and high-volume market,
because they basically just profiting from price changes,
trader using dollars instead of bitcoin

obviously they prefer more and bigger changes in bitcoin price because it would mean bigger profit on a smaller investment. but that doesn't mean that traders can not make profit from a stable price with small changes. just take look at fiat markets like dollar an euro there is small changes but they are being traded with a lot of money everyday.
20732  Economy / Speculation / Re: sorry what is halving the price will rise e or reduce? on: April 03, 2016, 04:31:15 AM
We already had one halving 4 hears ago.  So just go back and look at the charts.
It's impossible to compare the state of BTC 4 years ago to that of today.  Back then it was still in the cult following phase, whereas now it has broken into the mainstream (and not with the best reputation at the moment.).

although it wasn't all hype and was also increasing demand the last rise was mostly the mtgox that was fake pumping bitcoin to the moon!

but i think still a similar effect can be expected this year too, because there is another big hype brewing for bitcoin rise, that is why everywhere you look there is talk of halving and a big rise.
20733  Economy / Speculation / Re: Getting closer to Halving but .. no increase ? on: April 03, 2016, 04:25:54 AM
Halving is still 3 months away. So the price is not so high. I also think the big whales are also making the price low so that they can buy more.

Whales don't have to keep the price "low" as they have already bought their coins below $300 back in 2015. Now it's waiting for the Chinese pumpers to start creating a massive rally. That's what a lot people now are waiting for. It's just a matter of time.

It's a matter of time to see that the halving will not increase so much the BTC price.
All is almost already in the price...perhaps little short jumps up to $500 but it will not last long...

Remember me in 3 month if I were wrong.

Halving had given a big jump during the past time, but this time as quoted by above mate price can be found around $500 on halving.
What is the reasoning behind that? I have seen comments at Bitcoin being $800 at the halving, I've seen comments at it being lower because of a dump. None of them are extremely reputable or offer any insight as to why they say what they do.

most of the speculations here are just total nonsense, with some FUD in the mix too. so don't think too much of what you read on the forum.
IMO, price is not going to rise until there is some changes in bitcoin (the block size drama), no matter what it is going to be the effect is going to be big.
20734  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: April 03, 2016, 04:20:28 AM
Gambling is the fastest way to double your bitcoins in a day or even in an hour if you are really lucky. Life is a gamble anyways so it's up to you to decide on that.

If you can afford to take risk then you should not hesitate in gambling as anything is possible, if you are lucky you can double your coins in just few hours of time.

i disagree.
even if you are a risk taker, it is still a bad idea to think of gambling as a way of earning money. i don't ever like it when people include gambling as and investment or a method for earning bitcoin because it is not. if you are a risk taker there are better investments that are risky but much safer than gambling.
20735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: April 03, 2016, 04:16:09 AM
Bitcoin is the future of money, or so they say.

I would like to hear your opinions on Why should people use Bitcoin?

everybody should at least try using bitcoin instead of fiat. especially when paying for something online. in comparison with other payment methods like credit cards, paypal and similar services, bitcoin is the best of all of them (it is cheaper, faster, more secure and easy to use)
20736  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet / unsafe computer on: April 03, 2016, 04:00:28 AM
I would buy trezor and definitely made my computer safe as was mentioned above.

not all of us like paying ~100 dollars for a hardware wallet to keep our bitcoins, a wallet that can be created for free and secure. trezor is for those who have invested thousands of dollars in bitcoin and have little computer knowledge.
20737  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it too late to start with bitcoin? on: April 03, 2016, 03:56:24 AM
yes, it is late to mine bitcoin.

but bitcoin is not about you mining it and then selling the reward for fiat and never looking back. there a lot more to bitcoin. it is the future money and we are all early adopters.
20738  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long is Bitcoin life? on: April 02, 2016, 07:48:17 AM
bitcoin price will go up when

- major banks crash, many people lose funds

- currency crisis like venesuela nigeria

- china decide to devaluate yuan

bitcoin price can go down when

- many people sell

- scarry newspapers (Bitcoin dead)

- network trouble

EDIT: if you can predict these things you can make a profit trading Bitcoin
Actually weak economies of coutries like Venezuela or Nigeria has very little or nothing to do if we are discussing their influence in bitcoin price.
Banks bankruptcies are  usually local too. The only influential factors that are relevant to bitcoin price are global markets and top currencies like USD, EUR and yuan

it is an small effect but it will affect the price nonetheless. and that is enough for a trader to jump at the opportunity to make some quick profit from these changes.

the example was Greece financial crisis of last year that everybody said it is going to be huge but it wasn't as big as expected but still moved the price up.
20739  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Gamblers, be careful with Coinbase! on: April 02, 2016, 07:40:39 AM
you should never use these third party online bitcoin wallets at all, there are a lot of easy to use bitcoin wallets that don't require you to accept any kind of stupid TermsOfServices in order to use your own money (bitcoin). just use coinbase to buy then transfer the coins to another wallet of yours like (core, electrum, or even blockchain.info)
20740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: E-Sport Prediction , share your prediction here on: April 02, 2016, 07:34:10 AM
i have been away from the e-sports scene for so long that i feel i don't know any teams any more. there are still the previous top teams hard at work but the rosters have changed so much and their rankings too.
i have to spend some more time and update my Dota2 and CS:GO and get into the gaming scene again. i used to have some good bets on dota2lounge
