You really should be asking a securities lawyer but from my understanding SAFT is simply a proposal at this point and the SEC has not given any opinion on its legality.
The things that I look for to determine if it is a good bounty are: 1. Are they offering a fixed amount or a percentage? A percentage is better if you think it will be fully subscribed. 2. How long will the Bounty Campaign be? Shorter is better. 3. Number of participants? While a popular bounty usually means it will definitely reach its soft cap, an unpopular one with a percentage payout that sells out will make you a lot of money.
I personally prefer to follow a contrarian strategy and move money to smaller coins when sentiment turns negative and move money back into ethereum as the market gets really bullish.
The danger of reducing the dumb threads is it will force all those trying to meet signature posting requirements into the threads were serious discussions are taking place.
Can you make the spreadsheets available? Doing them as PDF's makes them not easily searchable and therefore difficult to find yourself and check for errors.
