Tomorrow we make the migration to our new data center with our own servers. This is a significant upgrade from our previous hosted servers. After this migration we will proceed with some much anticipated and promised features. Enjoy!

In the following weeks:
  • New site theme making Cryptsy more web 2.0
  • Cryptsy Codes and BTC-e Codes
  • Copy to Clipboard for Addresses
  • Check All/None button for Hide Markets in Settings
  • Autosell Updates - Add options for Min/Max & Top Sell vs Immediate Dump
  • Ripple Markets
  • Chat Upgrades
  • SMS and Email Triggers
  • Escrow Service

i would love to see a drop down menu on the main page that users can add quick links to, or at the very least a quick list of deposit addresses. wading through the sea of addresses to find one is mind numbing
2083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MΣC] Megacoin.co.nz - New formula is live on: October 18, 2013, 09:35:35 AM

I love MEC, I think it may be the BitCoin 2.0 we have been waiting for and would love to see it grow in use because has anyone checked how large the BTC blockchain is lately..... 12.6 GIGABYTES  TOO LARGE to be carried on a PHONE AS opposed to MEgaCoin's only 125Kb

the block chain is smaller because it is practically void of any transactions. as MEC increases in popularity, you will see the blockchain grow in size exponentially as more and more transactions are being comprised of multiple inputs such as coins bought from the exchange. also you are exagerrating that the blockchain is only 125kb. try megabytes buddy.

this is not to say that mec doesn't offer any advantages over bitcoin-- it does.

the blocks are more easily processed in the scrypt algorithm and are typically smaller due to having less pooled transactions in each block. also the pre client launch block check is set to a much lower value on most altcoins than that of bitcoin. bitcoin is slow because the sheer amount of transactions in the ledger. some people just can't seem to grasp this concept

Its nothing to do with being thick skinned, its to do with never being able to discuss anything on a form without people becoming instant dicks.....or arguing about semantics, or people who live on the forum going around like some kind of jumped up forum police! ....not everyone is online 24 hours a day, if its a repeated thread....here's two option's for you 1: dont read it, 2: dont reply! Its that easy!!!!!!
See this has already taken us way off topic.....

well forgive me, to err is human. continue elaborating on your point that is a bit skewed. i agree with the premise that the network has became centralized. how could we avoid it though? isn't it still decentralized to some extent since no one person or entity can dictate the network or reverse transactions?
2088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC the ironic currency ....? on: October 18, 2013, 07:21:05 AM

the kind of person people become online is distorted and pathetic....

Did you just project yourself? seriously dude it was just a joke. maybe you need to grow a bit thicker skin. this is the internet

pfffff AHAHHAHAHA wow.
honestly though, i agree with the OP bitcoin is a littlebit ironic
The ignore was for starting a new thread instead of using the search feature so that we wouldn't need to rehash the exact same points yet again.

maybe the "onis" was on him
The word your reffering to is spelt "onus" you retard !

no shit genius, hence the parentheses indicating a play on words...

2098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][OSC] Ocoin Giveway 300 OSC - new exchange on: October 17, 2013, 06:42:55 PM
please do not post in this thread. you will not receive anycoins. this is a scammer who was trying to get you to download a compromised client from his fake ANN thread with a backdoor trojan wallet stealer hidden within.

if you want some coins and haven't already received any see the main ANN thread for OSC https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=268705.0 and check out the section for giveaways/faucets towards the bottom of the op. thanks

Hey BTCTalkAccounts, remember our convo early on? I bm'd you about the hacked accounts.

We never followed up, we could've caused so much damage together. Here's a hint on how the forum was really hacked:

moon@justmoon.de

Password reuse is bad, okay?

Wait.. Moon as in the guy who ran that SolidCoin exchange a couple years ago and ended up bailing with everybody's money?

This actually makes no sense. I've lost track of what's been happening.

the scammers are using smoke and mirrors to make it appear they aren't full of shit, and its having the opposite effect
