NLEX are trying their best to convince KJ McDaniels to finish the conference. Even they are surely aware of what might happening to McDaniels, they want to take a shot if the import will change his mind. Unfortunately, looks like McDaniels is already 100% decided to end his NLEX tenure.
McDaniels really want to go home and see his wife and his baby, so better for NLEX to accept it and McDaniels already inform them since last year, they should anticipate this and they should start looking for another import which they already did. Its just that, they advance to the next round and they badly need a good import so they can stay on a good winning note. This is a dangerous scenario for NLEX, an import change going into the quarter-finals because we never know on how the chemistry will work with the new import. IMO, that's a shallow reason on the side of McDaniels to leave the team on this time but in fairness to him, he already advised the management of this even before he played for them. For today's game: Ginebra -4.5 @1.86 vs ROS, must-win for the Kings so i think they will work hard for this one though this looks like a very risky bet for me because Ginebra is so erratic right now. |

Well, i'm also thinking of this substitution dellima as we have noticed that recently a substitute fighter won a fight like Ugas but knowing how important this fight to Roman Gonzales, i think he will treat Martinez as real threat and not a replacement fighter. GGG is still the favorite in the bookies but if i were to put the odds i would give 2.5 for Murata because he is a very live underdog and we all know that GGG is not getting any younger anymore and that may reflect on his performance against this tough Japanese boxer. In this matchup, only 3 points ahead to win, meralco bolts doing good in this game and in first half they take the lead but in the third quarter of the game magnolia surpass and scored 32 points and that's a good and long run from them. And in the 4th and final quarter their defense is good and meralco scored only 19 points.

As for the size advantage, I don't think that Bivol has one, Canelo is known to punished boxers who is taller than him so that negate everyone who thins that their height will be be a problem for him. Bivol is a strong puncher if you look at his record, but Canelo can take anyone at 168 to 175 lbs because his chin is solid.
Team Canelo took that Kovalev fight because they saw that he was the weakest on the light heavyweight division at that time and after they won they did not defend the belt instead they move down so i think this Bivol fight will be an acid test for Canelo as the former is a strong puncher and would be much bigger than him. If this will push through, will this be still a championship fight? Have read that WBA won't sanction because of Bivol being a Russian. |

Actually, hindi naman puro paangat ang crypto, gaya ng dati, meron ding bear market. Mahirap talaga mag speculate pero tingnan mo ang galawan, pag atake ni Putin lagapak tayo sa $35k. Tapos biglang angat sa almost $40k, tapos ngayon pag gising ko ng madaling araw lagpas $41k at mukang mag $42k pa to. Kaya kakaiba ang movement ngayong ng market. Although naniniwala rin ako na nasa bear market na tayo, pero hindi ito katulad ng galaw nung 2018. Kaya obserbahan parin natin ang epekto ng giyera sa pagitan ng Russia at Ukraine at ano ang epekto nito sa market. As of this writing, nasa $43k+ na ang bitcoin sa coingecko at mukhang patuloy pa itong tataas. Di kaya resulta na ito sa pag-ban ng Russia sa SWIFT at yong mga Russians ay sa bitcoin/crypto nalang nila pinadaan yong pera nila? It's official, one the most anticipated match this year has been confirmed. Canelo Alvarez will fight Dmitry Bivol on May 7. And not only that, if by chance he won against Bivol, Canelo will be facing GGG next (assuming GGG wins his fight with Murata).
I think this is a two-fight package (not sure though), after this one he would fight GGG for the trilogy so win or lose he will face GGG. Cherry picking, this might be in the minds of the haters of Canelo lol. After unifying the belt, his team thought of moving to the cruiserweight but somehow it didn't push through maybe because the water there is dangerous so they are taking the less dangerous route and that is fighting on the light heavyweight division though there is still danger but it is not like in the heavier cruiserweight division. Looks like the expectation is too high for the SMB now that they have a new import, as I'm seeing, Magnolia has moved the ball very well making everyone contribute, it is just too smooth for them while the SMB struggles to make points. I hope that will not frustrate them going forward, also Romeo was not playing like he usually does, lots of tuning that needs to be done for this team.
We can't blame the people who has high expectations for this new import of SMB. Imagine, they have replaced Johnson who have won them two consecutive games after that debut lose. Johnson at this time have jelled well with the locals of SMB but still he replaced him because Muhammad's basketball resume is hard to pass up. Though they lose this one, there is still time to catch up as they are still in the middle of the standings but they should win their remaining games so to avoid complications of a quotient system. |
