seems to be good news. They do mention fair Yes, there are good news, we are going to the last stage for getting the mintpal faircoins On the other hand: "We are continuing to process withdrawals, the people who have take over the MintPal Twitter account have no current association with it." https://mobile.twitter.com/moolah_io/status/524971558960627712Like um whut? Seems like the situation is like this: V2 Mintpal: the only one that can access as an adm. and withdraw funds is the thief Alex/Ryan.(same person btw, he did a legal name change after scamming loads of people in the past) V1 is where faircoins are, and old Mintpal stuff have access, so as faircoin never made it to V2 i don't see why Mintpal stuff can't send us the coins? they can, but we are managing with they the way of how to do it. We are preparing updates, later today, stay tuned.

Not so fast! I am in touch with one moolah ex-worker, and he/she has said to me: I got in touch with the current MintPal stakeholders, and it appears that the faircoin balance is on the servers which Ryan allowed to expire due to a non-payment. The current staff are working towards getting these servers back up, and transferring the balance across. The situation in detail is explained by this ex-worker here http://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/2jnhxt/this_is_the_person_i_know_as_ryan_kennedy_and_my/http://pastebin.com/VYpQ5CWAThe most important as a summary, is that currently Mintpal is not a Ryan/Alex Green thing anymore, and that the main stakeholders assisted by the old mintpal managers (from V1) are trying to restore all the pending withdrawal. In the case of the information that left pending in V1, they are working in restore the servers from V1 that contains the information of faircoin balances. Hope we can get our FAIR back. Anyway, do we have any other place to trade FAIR? https://www.vaultex.io/market/21 Forget about vaultex, no volume there and it will take months to build a solid customer base if it is successful at all. Last Trade : 0.00000000 24hr High : 0.00000000 24hr Low : 0.00000000 24hr Volume : 0.0000 BTC What we need to do is try to get the coins out of Mintpal. Not sure how really .. Well, they (old mintpal...) are working on it. And right now already are concient of the significance of Fair coop project, and are priorizing faircoin Until then we are on standby really. But good news to know that someone is on the other side. Well, faircoin market is in standby, but in other sides there are very interesting progress going on...

Any response from Bittrex yet regarding the email you've sent? Hopefully we'll see some more fullfillment of the bounty once payday has passed haha. There was a first response from bittrex yesterday "I believe this is something we can do. I'm going to assign your ticket to Richie and he will be in touch when he get some time, we're a little back logged right now"sound good New update: Bittrex already has confirmed that they would add Faircoin if we pay 3 BTC for it. Therefore the bounty continues open in this direction.

The economist Silvio Gesell (Silvio Gkesel) in his book "Physics Class" argues that when the money does not circulate but hoarded the economy falters. On the contrary, when as many people as possible, in their hands to consume as much money as possible, the Economy -and consequently the society-have healthy growth and prosperity. So i have an idea of a type of money that always is moving.
The fairest coin possible it will be existed only online. 1 coin (or share) online and 0 coins offline. It would be a fair share of global wealth. A really democratic coin. For example:
There are 5 persons with 5 shares. 1 share=1000$. Total=5000$
Person A buys something from person B and pays 50$. So now A has 950$ and B has 1050$. Next time A and B are online they ll have (950+1050+1000+1000+1000)/2= 2500$. If 4 people are online they ll have (950+1050+1000+1000+1000)/4= 1250$ etc...
Would it be possible to work?
I find it an interesting methodology, but there are some serious problems with an 'person' being in a state of 'online'. One of the major arguments might be what the definition of 'online' means. When am I online? Most of the internets is asynchronus. Eventhough I'm writing this, bitcointalk doesn't know if I'm online or offline. I have a session, which expires after x time. But that's it. Another interesting point is the definition of a Person. What is a person? We've seen this with the distribution of both FairCoin, EFL and NLG - it is really hard to stop people from abusing the system... You cannot define one person (and giving them a piece of the pie) without the interference of the governance. The most probable link to an (tax paying) individual is his or her social security number. So that means you cut out like what, half the population? I don't know about the technical part. I'm not a computer scientist. If you are interested in collaborate in a currency that circulte in the faircoop envoriment, therefore perhaps you could be interested in help bulding faircredit, that is the currency designed to circulate in our plans -> https://fair.coop/groups/faircoop-community/faircredit/forum/Faircoin will be for saving and reference value and faircredit will be to spend and circulate

Still no faircoin Things are looking pretty serious. The Syscoin devs started legal actions against Moolah due to 750 BTC theft. https://twitter.com/syscoinimho, he he did the right thing! I dont think so. Mintpal is going step by step. Slow but advancing. They have done the easy part (withdrawal of coinssithout special issues) and now have the more difficult part pending like failed bitcoin withdrawal or faircoin new migration. It have some logical... And anyway a legal process is yet very, very more slow, that the time that thinhs are going. See Mtgox, legal process ongoig and nobody have seen their coins in 7 months. Isntead, we will see our faircoins more probably the next days or weeks by how are the things going.

Moolah is investigating the problems regarding FAIR: so it is better wait to withdraw? To be honest, I don't have a clue: - It is great that they are investigating the problem and hopefully they can merge the two symbols. - You might not even be able to succesfully withdraw, since they are still sorting out the problem. - If you had both a balance in FAC and in FAIR, it might not be smart to withdraw now because their system may not handle multiple withdrawls correctly. - I can't get a response from Moolah - they are litterally swamped with complaints, threats and problems. There's no way we can get through. Great, seems that the faircoin/mintpal mess is in the way to finish Otherwise i dont know anybody that have a FAC balance. I think that the problem is reduced to do the FAIR migration from mintpal 1.

New article, this time in shareable.net the sharing magazine of the collaborative economy Fair.coop: Using Cryptocurrency to Bring Economic Justice to the World http://www.shareable.net/blog/faircoop-using-cryptocurrency-to-bring-economic-justice-to-the-worldRetweet here: https://twitter.com/Fair_Coop/status/522864767648559104this is the introduction of the article By Cat Johnson Imagine an online cooperative that supports economic equality around the world and is free from state control. This is the vision for Fair.coop. First envisioned by Enric Duran, cofounder of the Catalan Integral Cooperative, Fair.coop is an extension of peer-to-peer values, open cooperation, and hacker ethics. If Fair.coop's lofty ideals are realized in a concrete way, it could prove revolutionary. Using Faircoin, a cryptocurrency, Fair.coop's goal is to reduce inequality as much as possible by using market forces to, as stated on the website, “hack the foreign exchange market by inserting the cooperation virus.” The main objective of Fair.coop is to provide a means by which collectives in the Global South may receive donations in, and save, Faircoin. As the value of Faircoin increases, so too does the collective wealth of these communities. To start, Fair.coop has been supplied with 10,000,000 Faircoins, which represents 20 percent of total existing coins. The project marks the beginning of a concrete plan to alleviate economic inequity without going through the channels of nation-states. It is driven exclusively by civil society. Alleviating economic injustice is no small undertaking, to be sure, but as Stacco Troncoso of the P2P Foundation writes, “The punk rock spirit that underlies the Fair.Coop initiative is admirable. Infused with an attitude transcending punk’s DIY ethos and arriving at a DIWO (Do it with Others) position, Fair.Coop has decided to tackle the big picture, reaching out to people and collectives who want practical action to offset the abundance of rhetoric.”

Optional information that heavily influences us:
Proof of dev: Contact cryptosian.com or coinssource.com to get rated Get your source code reviewed by a trusted member of the community
Enric, can we work on those two points? - http://www.cryptosian.com/ is kinda dead though. - http://www.coinssource.com/ how do we get rated there? - Can we have the source code reviewed? Maybe Amir can play a role in that? On coinssource.com is explained in this link -> http://www.coinssource.com/trust-index-verification/ i think that this could be an action of thokon00, because he is who is the core developer in faircoin. I can help if needed, but i see this as a questionary for "shitcoins" and seems to my view ridiculous, to need go there for bittrex I have answered this to bittrex form in this points -> Proof of dev: Contact cryptosian.com or coinssource.com to get ratedWe are one of the few altcoins with public representats from the real world you can see here: https://fair.coop/councils/ Get your source code reviewed by a trusted member of the communityWe have already the support of trusted members of the crypto community like Amir Taaki Here a video of him talking about faircoop and faircoin -> https://vimeo.com/107737105In fact, we are more validated in the real world than coinssource or bittrex, or wathever of this ....So is they problem if they are not able to read a bit...
