2081  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are newbie? come here i will tell how to earn bitcoins here in forum.. on: October 23, 2015, 03:01:09 PM
Well OP wants to bring all the opportunities in one thread.
I think this is a good idea, but there is something about signatures.
I would highly suggest to link threads if you think so, for signatures, avatars, pay for signups, etc..
Cross out the avatars, you know newbies can't have them. @OP I'd cross out all signature campaign except secondstrade, bitin , 777coin and maybe keep yobit though as it accepts Jr. members+ . Second thing you seem to have secondstrade signature campaign two times.

If OP wants to mention only the newbies opportunity then it would be very less information.
I would suggest him to make a rich thread by including all the opportunities for all rank members.
Not just limited to newbie but for all, by categorizing rank by rank.
2082  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $300 this month? on: October 23, 2015, 02:55:34 PM
We have seen the $300 range a few times, also the $200. So i expect a dump back to $250 as well.

With the block-size still not fixed i see the price during that event back to $200-$250. The tipping point is around X-mass ore the start of 2016, when that is done Bticoin can start a real lift-off.
'
I think that the summer of 2016 will be a glorious one.

Yes that is true we crossed so many $300 but we need more stable price floor on this level i think $300 is not a big target but stay at this floor is more important like it is in range of $230-$250.

Yes by looking in the past price, $300 mark is reached many times. But for me who didn't experienced that price range since I just entered bitcoin world this year, Im really glad if the price will kick up to $300 mark or stay around $270-$290 price range. Im optimistic it will happen even not by the end of this month based on today's price movement.

If the price is increased only by 2 dollars per day,
Or 0.7% every day it can reach around $300 by the end of the month.
I think that the last time when the price was at 300 was earlier this year.
2083  Economy / Economics / Re: Gandi accepts bitcoin payments on: October 23, 2015, 02:49:55 PM
This is good news for the bitcoin community.
Personally i had few domains there when there was a giveaway.
Now going to move from godaddy and use gandi Smiley quality is good.
2084  Other / Off-topic / Re: Babble logo looks like Bitcoin's on: October 23, 2015, 02:47:00 PM
Well it is and it isn't very similar to bitcoin.
Bitcoin does not use a B but a BTC, which is unique only for bitcoin.
There are many other similars because if you want only one letter you are limited to few tens alphabet letters.

2086  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the safest way to store Bitcoins? on: October 23, 2015, 02:41:07 PM
Has anyone tried using Trezor? been tempted to buy one but i don't know if it's any good than using online wallet.

I do not own any Trezor hardware wallet but as i have seen many review here in forum,
It seems that this hardware wallet is one of the most trusted and secured wallet.
It's much more safe than using online wallets, and trezor can be integrated in Electrum AFAIK.
2087  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: October 23, 2015, 02:39:02 PM
The gold market cap is much more larger than bitcoin.
So i think that it is better to invest in gold but it has its pros and cons.
But personally i prefer more bitcoin as it is digital(virtual) and need low-non cost to maintain it.
2088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: October 23, 2015, 02:32:25 PM
I mostly recommend to my relatives to trade things.
This can bring most of the time profit, unless you don't make any research.
But recently the altcoin market has been deceased and there is not much profit now.
2089  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimum to start on trading on: October 23, 2015, 01:53:15 PM
At least 5 Bitcoins and you can start, otherwise you can have very small profit  Wink

5 bitcoins? I'm not ready to take this much risks. Even though I do not have 5 bitcoins either. Trading should begin with very low investments as we do not know how the market will react to our predictions. Some people here suggesting alt coin trading that must be the good idea for beginners.

Yes 5 bitcoin is a very big money to start your bitcoin trading. Taking leverage also must be riskier as it will auto square off your open positions when the open trade goes off against your predictions. Better do with small lot from a small investment for a small target.

Personally when i have free time firstly i analyze the market.
I analyze the price how often is changing and then i put 1BTC
After that i make a sell order with 0.5-1% higher and often get a very small profit.
2090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe we need more ways of advertising Bitcoin currency? on: October 23, 2015, 01:50:24 PM
My question is who is going to fund this sort of thing.  Will it be community funded, and if so who is going to manage it.  A lot of these steps need to take place in order to have some success at advertising.

Since there not a single company that owns the bitcoin,
It should be funded normally by third parties that use bitcoin.
Like coinbase, other exchanges and other services that accept bitcoin as a payment method.
2091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS BETTER THAN WESTERN UNION ? on: October 23, 2015, 01:49:21 PM
Sending money through bitcoin is much better than Western Union.
There is no fee (or very low fee - few cents) per transaction.
You can send millions via bitcoin and there is still few cents the fee.
2092  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What was the oldest ever signature campaing? on: October 23, 2015, 01:46:45 PM
Just curious to see what were the rates back then when the first signature campaing business apparead and people started working for them. I wonder what the rates where. It must have been something ridiculous where you could make an entire BTC in a matter of hours or something. Or maybe they came late enough so that to make 1 BTC you would already need a lot of time and effort like you need now? Im just curious to learn about the most early rates when the price was really low.

As far as i know it is this signature campaign.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=671689.0
This signature campaign is still active since June 30, 2014.
2093  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: October 23, 2015, 01:42:45 PM
Bitcoin = Gambling.

So, no way!
r you so fucked up?, bitcoin isn't only for gambling but also for porn  Grin, but trading will surely make a profit

Some people know just that, bitcoin is e-currency
And can be used for everything buying selling (digital) stuff
Personally i would quit if the salary in bitcoin would be higher.
2094  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I trust BTC exchanges? on: October 23, 2015, 01:41:20 PM
Well there is always a risk sending to someone else that you don't know.
Especially to exchanges, as we know there have been many hacks recently.
Personally i use time by time YoBit and until now it is working good.
2095  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Indirect way of buying Bitcoins on: October 23, 2015, 01:37:06 PM
You well noticed buying altcoins, but if you have any other way to buy alt coin than bitcoin then it's good.
But the risk involved here is that most of altcoins their price changes too often.
So it is possible to win or loose, but buying bitcoin under the market price can be only if someone needs cash very fast.

2097  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $300 this month? on: October 23, 2015, 01:28:55 PM
Nah, not this month. Price is rising very slowly at this stage so I say somewhere around 10th of november. It'll take some time for BTC to gain some real momentum again.

Just today bitcoin price reached $279 or more in other exchanges.
So it basically needs only $20 to reach 300 usd this month.
I think that with this trend bitcoin price can be reach the target.
2098  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: October 23, 2015, 01:27:05 PM

Even if the price doubles(which for sure maybe will not happen)
There is no such a good profit just for 1BTC if you think for long-term.
At least 100BTC will make a good change(profit) in the next few years.

There ain't too many folks with $25,000 or so to park on an extreme bet for the future. Overall though you're right. One coin is unlikely to be life changing before you're back in nappies.

Well the higher the amount needed the higher the risk.
And there are less people with this kind of cash money to invest in.
But in generally 1BTC is just too little to except a good profit.
2099  Economy / Digital goods / Re: MIT .edu email on: October 23, 2015, 01:25:37 PM

2100  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: October 22, 2015, 06:23:15 PM
This seems a good idea.
Don't know what to quote though!
-snip
Bitcoin Address: 1GybvzB8d1cZAtySZCjMBr4RrwsYVQg8dY (coinbase account)
-snip

If this is a coinbase address, you'll find information on how to sign a message from it here

I tried it for example:

-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
This is Lutpin and I sign this message from coinbase
-----BEGIN SIGNATURE-----
1C9XHpLjvkU6uaeS4MkoY7kk9YJgUMxjGG
H7r9MlgcrGV04Kvo3RpH+gcOZaSMJBJwjI9h62MF6GfzciHlFFWHLotX3n4E13ROYTFbNQFAtuuErohLjjVqyAo=
-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

And here's the verification

I use this website (brainwallet copy) to verify bitcoin signed message.
http://wallet-2sx53n.sakurity.com/#verify
Coinbase allows you to sign a bitcoin message and it is easy.
