I see a lot of new casinos are currently opening ...and then they only support virtually unknown tokens.  Roll Eyes  It is almost as if these casinos are created to create a use case for these tokens.  Roll Eyes

Are you in any way associated with the developers of these tokens? I see the maximum supply of $HUNNY tokens will be 100M on the one site and on other sites it says it's uncapped. One thing that are positive is the fact that it is not pre-mined.... so that is a good start.

You want to tell me.... with a Annual turnover of 425.693 EUR..... you make a Net profit of 411.886 EUR Huh That is operating cost of about 13807 EUR per year? That sounds impossible... and even the turnover of 425.693 EUR is very high for a new casino?

In any way, I can buy a white label casino for a lot cheaper and then I can build it to something where I know that I have full control. It is like selling your business, but the old owner has access to the building and the books and the vault..... and possibly a lot of backdoors  Roll Eyes
2083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We can’t vote our way to freedom, but we can build our way to freedom on: November 25, 2022, 06:07:12 AM
Well, I tend to differ from you..... any democracy are built on votes, so if people vote for a specific party that does not support Crypto currencies or if they voted for a government that claimed that they supported it..and then changed their promises... then people should use their "vote" to replace them.

Unfortunately people with the most money ...win elections and they determine what the outcome will be for the stance towards Crypto currencies. (US Elections)

2084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does MMA Have A Gambling Problem? on: November 24, 2022, 06:24:16 AM
I do not really like to bet on MMA fights, because there are too many things that can be rigged. A fighter might throw the match to boost the chances for a re-match or the referee might make dodgy "technical" calls.... or the fight can go to points, when there are not a knockout ...so that can also be rigged.  Roll Eyes

https://mmafitnessclub.weebly.com/blog/9-ways-fights-are-fixed-in-professional-mma

Also, one lucky punch or kick might change the direction that a fight might take.... so a fighter with less skills might just get that lucky punch or kick and win the fight.

...but that is just me.  Wink
2085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Hackers have stolen $1.4 billion this year using crypto bridges on: November 24, 2022, 05:55:33 AM
So, if you look closely at this.... you will notice that those "Bridges" are not as robust as the "Peer reviewed" protocols that are used for Crypto currencies. Also, it seems as though trustless blockchain bridges are targeted more, because it is not monitored and controlled by a centralized authority.

Blockchain bridges are still in the early stages of development, so it is expected that there will be more opportunities for hackers to find exploits, but as the technology matures, less mistakes will be made... and the regulators will also force them to "clean" up their act.  Angry
2086  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-11-24] Starling Bank bans Bitcoin transactions on: November 24, 2022, 05:36:29 AM
A lot of Australian Banks have also tried to "block" Bitcoin transactions in the past and the Australian citizens took them on. It was found that those Banks colluded to "block" Bitcoin transactions and it was deemed as anti-competitive actions.

The big Crypto exchanges are making a lot of profit and this type of actions are hurting their business, so I will suggest that they stand together to report this. ( general.enquiries@cma.gov.uk )

Anti-competitive agreements are covered by Chapter I of the 1998 Act in UK law and Article 101 of EU law. UK and EU law prohibit agreements, arrangements and concerted business practices which appreciably prevent, restrict or distort competition, or where this is the intended result. 2087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin isn't dying, it's alive. on: November 24, 2022, 05:25:20 AM
Yes, I watched a financial discussion on the morning show a few days ago ...and the financial advisor said.. most financial instruments are struggling at the moment, but it is the best time to buy.

He said in the last decade, we have seen only a few times when the global markets dipped like this... example : Post 9-11 / Financial crisis  / Post Covid pandemic / Russia & Ukraine War.

So you have a choice.... Buy stocks or shares or Fiat on Forex markets OR buy cheap bitcoins. Which one do you think, have the most potential to recover the most.  Wink
2088  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I Am So Done With Betting Until.... on: November 23, 2022, 06:15:59 AM
I think I am one of the unluckiest gambler/bettor out here, today is one of my worst days again and I think I should quit betting.

I went all in on Argentina thinking their match against Saudi Arabia would be an easy win for them, and the fact that the odds were so far away against Saudi Arabia winning while it was in huge favor of Argentina caused me to be so sure that Argentina was going to win the match, and then, I went all in, hoping to make some big wins just like yesterday, but now, everything is gone, in just a twinkle of an eye...
Argentina is a big disappointment, It's still hard to believe, I quit betting until I am able to forget this experience entirely.

Your mistake was betting on the Qatar World Cup. Haven't you seen the news Qatar bribing Ecuador?

Reports: Qatar Bribed Eight Ecuadorian Players $7.4 Million to Lose World Cup Opener

What makes you think that Argentina haven't sold the game to the rich Saudis? That's a very good possibility.

Saudis have lots of money and Argentina is dirt poor. Since the tournament is already a very dirty and corrupted one to begin with, we might see more surprises like this.

You know what is going to be more surprising? Saudis or Qataris winning the world cup.

Total shit show.

Well, a contributing factor for their win, might have been that they were playing in front of a crowd that were cheering for a middle eastern country to win. I should think that a lot of the people in the stadium, might have been Saudis.... and that good energy will most definitely give them a home field type of advantage.   Wink

You know that Qatar lost against Ecuador ... right? So, if those rumors were true.... some "bone breakers" are going to have a fun time, getting that money back after the world cup is done.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I think a lot of these Alt coin developers are hiring developers to create popup gambling sites like this to create a use case for their tokens.  Roll Eyes Yes, a Weed coin is a cool concept and I think a lot of people will find this entertaining and fun... but will it be enough to grow past that stage?

The success of these Alt coins are in the utility of the coin... not only having the ability to gamble with it, but to actually buy something with it. There are some many variations of Crash and Dice and Plinko games.... so you must have something unique to draw in the people who love those games.

2091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright's lawsuit against Kraken on: November 23, 2022, 05:46:13 AM
This is the time when some heavy weights should start backing a company like Kraken to hire the best lawyers they can get... and then to wipe the floor with him and all his false claims. Subpoena the best experts in the Crypto field to testify on behalf of Kraken and then stop him from doing anything else.

He is cherry picking soft targets and then gradually building a case against the bigger companies that are operating in the Crypto currency field. If he wins this one.... then he can use this outcome to go against other bigger companies.  Angry Angry Angry Angry
2092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All the Alt Coins ar going to wiped out but bitcoin will resurect from the dead on: November 23, 2022, 05:35:12 AM
No, unfortunately it does not work like that.....

When the Bitcoin price goes down, the price of most Alt coins goes down too, because it trades in trading pairs. If the strongest token gets a beating, investors (speculators) panic and they start to sell their Alt coins too.

A lot of the Alt coins with small trade volumes will not survive, because people will sell them first to boost their Fiat capital. Then when the Bitcoin price recovers, people will buy bitcoins (BTC) first and then start buying the Alt coin pairs. (So some Alt coins will die, but most of them will survive)
2093  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Digital Bitcoin Giftcards on: November 22, 2022, 06:16:21 AM
It would be nice if you could design an App that would generate a Paper wallet... but it must split the Bitcoin address and the Pass phrase and Private key and send that to different platforms.

Example : Send the Bitcoin address on a Gift card to the receivers Email address. Then send the encrypted Private Key to his mobile phone via an SmS. You can even phone the receiver in person to give them the Pass phrase to split all the information for security purposes.

Something like https://www.bitaddress.org interface .... with a gift card design .... and then you can generate those offline.. and then print the gift card and then send the Private key to a mobile phone and the pass phrase with a phone call.  Wink
2094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is The Gambling Industry Part Of The Domino Effect That Happens In The Market on: November 22, 2022, 05:56:44 AM
There are some known "Cold wallets" for some of the Crypto casinos, so it is not a big secret on what kind of reserves some of these casinos might have. I do not know how accurate the information is on this, but it might serve some purpose in this discussion.

I do not think it should be public knowledge, because sensitive financial information like this... should be protected. I would want to see a trusted and independent financial audit be done on the casinos, to validate their holdings... even if this was only done to establish trust that the deposits are safe.  Roll Eyes

The auditors should not reveal the actual financial reports.... but they can just confirm that the money in the casino, reflect the money that are held in people's wallets.
2095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running a casino during crypto crash on: November 22, 2022, 05:48:17 AM
You are underestimating how much profit the online Crypto casinos are making. Most of the deposits and the bet amounts are also adjusted with the current Crypto price, so they are not even feeling the impact of the crash.

Also, remember that most of the coin balances are only an entry on their internal database... so they can basically hold USDT or some other stable coin... and just convert some of that to their hot wallet, when needed for withdrawals.

They can even convert some of the coins into Fiat currencies... deposit it into a Bank and receive interest on that money. We will never know, what they do with their whole Bankroll.  Roll Eyes
2096  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-10-26] UK Votes in Favor of Recognizing Crypto as Regulated Financial Inst on: November 22, 2022, 05:37:13 AM
The law makers have to clearly define Crypto currencies as a financial instrument, because they cannot find you guilty of a financial crime, if you did not steal something of value. It also applies to tax evasion, if you did not declare your financial investments into Crypto currencies.

If they cannot define Crypto currencies, then criminals will have a loophole to exploit and to prevent criminal prosecution for their financial crimes. All of this is done to align laws to protect against tax evasion and also to confiscate Crypto currencies, when it was used in crime.
2097  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To those who do not care about their privacy. Why? on: November 22, 2022, 05:25:05 AM
Well, you basically have two kinds of people with very different views on privacy. On the one hand ...you have the people that believe in centralized authorities and the control that they must have over all citizens (Control freaks) .... and most of those people do not care about financial privacy. (Chinese / North Korea ....etc...)

Then on the other hand.... you have the people that think out of the box ... those people that do not follow like a sheep... and those people that understand that financial freedom are important.

I am not a Sheep... I can think for myself and I do not adhere to the norm. Personal information can be misused and manipulated by centralized organizations. Financial information can be used against you... (Do you donate to Wikileaks? .... can governments use that information against you?)
2098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Roshtein fake money streamer or not? on: November 21, 2022, 06:16:12 AM
I think the casino (Stake.com) that paid him to stream, has paused his payment... and might even re-negotiate their affiliate contracts after this ban. Look at this from the casinos perspective.... on Twitch, Rosh and Train had loads of subscribers and now suddenly all those subscribers are gone.

So the Streamer has to start from the bottom to build up a new subscriber base on a new platform to assist him or her to re-negotiate for a new contract. In any way, I think Stake.com must stop with all the funding to fake streamers and concentrate on funding the development of their infrastructure (Servers/bandwidth & Sports book) and improving their player experience.
2099  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: November 21, 2022, 05:54:43 AM

I don't think he's only talking about free tournaments. If you look at what are offering their main competitors for the World Cup, Stake is behind them too. For example Stake is just offering a poor half-time leading insurance for WC matches, that is to say a simple refund (up to $250) of your bet if the team you've backed didn't win but managed to be ahead at the end of the first half-time when Sportsbet for example, is giving away $10 in free chips/spins without conditions for every $50 bets on many matches. That's weird, but they don't seem to be interested in attracting all soccer fans who will look for an interesting sportsbook to place some bets during the World Cup... But maybe they want to be more focus on slots and casino games nowadays.

Exactly, they lag behind in all promotions compared to other sites. It is a little bit weird to me that they are not really focused on giving more promotions for the world cup as it is the biggest event of the year and soccer is one of the most popular sports worldwide.
I think that a possibility is that maybe Stake’s customer base is more US based and they prefer to give more preference to those sports than soccer, which has some popularity on the US but which is way more popular around the rest of the world, after all as we know the soccer world cup is the sport event that gets the most views and as you say it would make sense to give a little bit more focus to it.

I have to disagree with you on that.... Stake.com is not open to the US and Canada, so why would they focus more on Sports that are being played in the USA? (Basket ball & Baseball) ??

Stake are currently heavily invested in UFC (Global viewership) and Soccer/Football (Global viewership) ..if you look at the sponsorship of Watford / Everton / Adesanya etc... so I think they made the right choice in Sport betting.

I think the reason why they are not offering more World Cup promotions is that the marketing funds are maxed out, with all the sponsorships that they signed with those teams and individuals. (Also paying for the Live Streaming of all those major events)
2100  Economy / Economics / Re: FTX Drama and Global Empact on: November 21, 2022, 05:45:47 AM
FTX had KYC but it was minimal and never verified hence why it was so popular. All you needed was a working SMS in your country and that was it. Many used a burner phone. And for name and address many just made something up.

For other exchanges you need to submit actual id and proof of residency. You might even need to state the proof of funds. Hence why many chose FTX instead.

OK, I did not know that..... so a LOT of the money that was going through this exchange ..might have been "dirty"  Roll Eyes  The thing is... no matter where the money traded on this exchange came from, it still hurt Bitcoin's progress and adoption.

I compare this "event" with the impact that the Mt Gox hack had on Bitcoin's progress, because loads of people got burnt and some even turned and attacked the technology.... and not themselves ..for trusting centralized exchanges.  Roll Eyes
