2081  Economy / Economics / Re: Is wide distribution valuable ? on: July 27, 2015, 05:20:10 PM
It is being reflected from your question that you are about to create an altcoin with a wide distribution.
If I'm not wrong then please correct me.
2082  Economy / Economics / Re: Why on this earth most of the post only related to Greece Crisis ? on: July 27, 2015, 05:17:08 PM
Yup you are right, those posts are full of speculations and merely a few facts.
2083  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 27, 2015, 05:15:58 PM
If you ask me then in my opinion you should invest it and not just save it.
I don't recommend to invest in Bitcoin or any other crypto, you can also investment in gold or maybe in real estate to be on the safe side.
2084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: July 27, 2015, 02:48:24 PM
I recommend Bitcoin to my girlfriend when I was posting on bitcointalk.org.  And she laughed a lot after hearing about Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is out of her league.
it seems very few women who work for a bitcoin right ? my sister also she not interest in bitcoin
They more be interested if you bought her some accessories or some food, They will believe in bitcoin if they have an evidence that bitcoin is true or not, Just give her any things that you can prove that bitcoin is true.

Just show how bitcoin works .... how to use it to purchase anything just like local currency. Show her how fast the transaction and how secure + anonymous the bitcoin transaction. It might make her interest a bit rather than not interest at all
Just a question,
Why should I tell her that Bitcoin is anonymous..... She's not a criminal or tax evader. Lol Tongue
2085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Creation of more powerful Hardwares Could destroy Bitcoin ? on: July 27, 2015, 02:37:21 PM
Regardless of how advanced any hardware will become, there is still only one block per ~10 minutes.

If blocks are being found faster than every 10 minutes, the difficulty will rise to match the hardware so that it still remains one block every ~10 minutes.

What does that mean to you or me? Well, if you're still mining with a CPU or GPU, you already know what that means. For people who are using ASICs, they have an advantage.
Whether you are advantaged or disadvantaged, it has no affect on what a bitcoin is worth. And no affect on whether bitcoin is in any danger of being destroyed.

no man!!!
Bitcoin can come in danger if the quantum computer starts solving sha-256.
There is a theory that if we use quantum computer with sha-256 capabilities then it will solve the entire network in just a little bit of time.
2086  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is wealth boring? on: July 27, 2015, 02:33:30 PM
I don't think that wealth is boring.
According to me wealth is amazing.
But it is human nature that when we acquire something then we want more and more of it.
2087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Creation of more powerful Hardwares Could destroy Bitcoin ? on: July 27, 2015, 02:26:47 PM
As you have seen it till now that when new hardware starts mining Bitcoin, then the network difficulty increases.
So if cpu and gpu evolved in next 5 to 15 years then the network difficulty also increase with it.

eh i doubt so, asic new generation are much faster in improving and more powerful and always will be, there will be no reason to use gpu ever to mine bitcoin directly, asic will always be number 1, at best a new form of asic will emerge like i dunno, quantum asic?
I also know that asic is the first choice for sha-256.
But I mentioned cpu and gpu because the OP mentioned those.
BTW currently quantum computers are not able to solve sha-256.
2088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Blocksize Debate Potentially Catastrophic to Bitcoin? on: July 27, 2015, 02:20:20 PM
I think yes it's catastrophic to Bitcoin.
This debate is dividing the bitcoin community into 2 parts, the miners are saying not to do so and the companies are saying yes to do so.

the miner have more power, they control the network and with 60% of the total net chinese can dictate what they want, otherwise why we are willing to accept their 8mb change vs the initial 20mb?
I think,  higher the block size and higher is the time to mint a new block.
Am I right?

you mean higher the reward of the block? or the size of the blockchain? which has nothing to do with the difficulty btw the difficulty is correlated to the hash, more hash more diff
So why are miners not agreeing to increase the size of the blocks.
2089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC in your country on: July 27, 2015, 01:09:06 PM
In India,  most of the people don't have Internet at their house so there's No way that here mainstream adaption can occur in near future.
2090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: July 27, 2015, 01:03:55 PM
I came to know about Bitcoin from a guy who was buying drugs from silk road and I wondered that this can also happen.

My biggest mistake with bitcoin was not coming into this profession earlier.
But I don't regret it as I was just 12 at that time.  Cool

2096  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many Bitcoins are lost forever? on: July 27, 2015, 12:31:01 PM
According to me,  one third of all Bitcoins mined ever are lost either the private keys are lost or the owners don't remember their password.
2097  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Wallpaper - In Cryptography we trust on: July 27, 2015, 12:18:46 PM
Very well dude, I really really really like all of this. I'll save it for my ipod wallpaper ; D
One that makes the picture good is the color selection

According to me, if the colour of background would be bright then it would have been cool.

2099  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin Crash Gold? on: July 27, 2015, 11:31:35 AM
Yes Bitcoin Can crash gold very easily.
But first whales have to move out from Bitcoin so that there will be a steady growth and not these biweekly pumps and dumps.
