2081  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My Advices On How to Handle Failures on: February 12, 2022, 11:46:45 PM

Hardships and failures are preparing you for a brighter and greater things, keep moving!
That boosted you to keep trying and make yourself getting prepared for the incoming. We don't let these mistakes for us to think I quit, I'm a failure but rather make this a reason to work hard and as there is no sweet success if there are no failures and hardships. Responding to them in a positive way like smiling, keeping calm, and pretending to be okay is a way to easily find the best solution, and be thankful as well to the positive people who help us to understand and help us to stand despite these failures.
2082  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am doomed on trading on: February 12, 2022, 11:13:18 PM
In the first place, you just need to know already the possible risk of the trading, I guess you come on the peak of the market and bought with the wrong position the market is volatile so if you think the knowledge you have are still lacking to commit a trade better to hold your assets.  Again don't invest what you afford to lose not all the ads saying that you can earn double up in crypto is legit its all about your knowledge and current capital to start.
yeah, if we can't afford to risk more in trading and are not really confident of ourselves due to lack of knowledge and skills, we'd better decide to hold. It was not cowardice to call, we just make sure that we don't fall into the wrong place like trading as this was a place for everyone. We dare to accept that every single mistake we take in trading will certainly give us losses and I think we don't want it. That is why we have to consider our capabilities first than to say sorry.
2083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: That is why play to earn concept is a massive failure on: February 12, 2022, 10:45:06 PM
Quote
The play-to-earn model on its own is unsustainable. By its very nature, it creates an unsustainable pyramid scheme-like system where new players buy in only to create and sell digital goods to those who buy in after them. Above and beyond that, it creates a culture of virtual indentured servitude where individuals are dragged forward by the threat of a lost investment to play a video game at the cost of their own mental and physical health.

All the games build upon this same structure and there is nothing new other than skin color and weapon design. High entry fees in the game and high challenge for new users is demotivating new users to join the system. Only early adopters are earning massively because of those unique teams they got. Unique users registration is decreasing day by day which shows the hype is going down with flame.
Just to say that once there is new, it easily gets in the hype and people will choose that while leaving the old one. At this time where major gaming companies are offering that Play-to earn platform, this serves a market competition as well. Like mentioning Axie Infinity, looking at their performance now, they are absolutely in decline after another project comes doing the same.
So, if you are early adopters and can ride the hypes, you'll exactly in huge profit but if not, well, you can still earn some but not compared to them.
2084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just luck on: February 12, 2022, 10:03:38 PM
Is it just luck that I made most of my money from shitcoins and meme coins? While people are hating I always make sure I got in early and I ended up smiling, if you bought shiba at few weeks of release you know what I'm talking about, I do get some big altcoins too but this so called shitcoins gives me the best profits.

Well, I'm not going to say it was totally a piece of luck but you made it with a skillful strategy. Like a day trader had often made a profit in a short period of time, while taking advantage of the sudden drop and make buy, and then sell them once fluctuations come. Unless you just hold them, then I can say it was a lucky day for you.

Anyways, whether it is a bit of luck or not, just to say congratulations and good luck for your meme investment.
2085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Shakur Stevenson vs Oscar Valdez 130-pound Title Unification Fight on: February 12, 2022, 09:05:32 PM
I voted for Oscar Valdes, I'm betting on a more exciting fighter and I guess Oscar Valdez passed my qualification and I believe that he will win in this fight. Shakur Stevenson is also good, no offense to the fans but I have to choose the best one and I always believe that a more aggressive fighter has the better chance of winning, who knows, we might see Valdez KO Stevenson here.
2086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why a single bet is better than a multi bet. on: February 12, 2022, 01:39:39 PM
Obviously, a single bet is better than a multi bet or what we called as a parlay, as you increase the leg of your parlay your chances will decrease. Others may not notice that because they are too focused on the reward, but in reality, parlay reduce the chance of winning, so I don't do it if I'm in a serious mode in betting.
2087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 12, 2022, 01:19:16 PM
The game between the BlackWater Bossing and the TerraFirma Dyip has just ended and... damn I thought that the streak of Blackwater will end today because they are leading by 12 at the 5 minute mark of the 4th quarter 96-84 but the Dyip made an 18-0 run to lead by 6 at the 1 minute mark of the quarter and ended getting the victory 109-103. Hmmmmm kinda sus Cheesy JK.

Well, the losing streak continues for the BlackWater but it seems that their new import is stronger than their previous one scoring 35 points and Suerte their new player also got 16 points. Maybe, just maybe the streak might end in their next 2-3 games. Just a prediction Cheesy.

Too bad for the Blackwater, they tried their best but they are just unlucky to still cannot win a single game. Their losing streak continues, I hope they'll not feel frustrated with what happened, instead, they'll learn from that mistake and continue to aim breaking their losing streak.

They are already frustrated a long time ago as they are in a long losing streak, correct me if I'm wrong, I guess they already made history? Anyway, winning and losing is just part of the game, I believe one day Blackwater will be lucky to win, maybe in a non-bearing game? Well, they'll be out in the elimination already, so there's also a benefit because they can rest early.
2088  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question on: February 11, 2022, 11:04:48 AM
Hello dear all !
can any body tell me how to use digital money or how to exchange those things to real money ?
for example how to exchange crypto to cash ?
is there any trust full wallet for these things too?

It would be easier for you to understand if you search all that questions on youtube. I'm pretty sure there are videos explaining everything about your question, and who knows, you might learn more information than what you just asked.
2089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 11, 2022, 10:15:44 AM
I believe the Nets won on that trade. A shooter/outside defender addition and a big point guard. 76ers need a point guard too and a forward so I think they are satisfied with that Harden and Millsap included.
But what I really want to witness is the Nets improving their defensive with the addition of these new players. Seth is good at defending small players while Ben could manage forwards in the defensive end. Let's see.
^ Team Lebron is my vote.
I guess most of us here think that the Sixers won the trade, at least Harden already won an MVP IRC, so he will be a big help for the 76ers to be in the NBA Finals. On the other hand, Simmons is a great defender but he is not clutch in the playoffs, I hope he will improve though, but in case the Nets would face the Bucks in the ECF, who Simmons will be guarding? is he gonna Guard Giannis?
2090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better: Ethereum or the Binance Smart Chain? on: February 11, 2022, 07:27:20 AM
If you mean the network then I prefer Binance Smart Chain because less fee and also fast transaction. I do like ethereum network it is also fast but the problem of the ethereum network is the fee is too expensive, I really don't want to pay high fees using this ethereum network. I'm still hoping that one day ethereum gas fee will be fix and will be the same as Binance Smart Chain fees..
Only the fees that BSC had made an advantage against ETH but overall, the ETH network is still in major use even today. And one reason is that ETH has already been established strong, major projects are using the ERC20 platform that couldn't leave ETH on the space. If we just have the option to use other platforms even it was ERC20 tokens, that for sure traders and investors are already ignoring ETH but still don't have and live no choice but to pay for the huge fees.
2091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be a wise investor on: February 11, 2022, 07:03:46 AM
Well, to make a profit is always a top in our mind when it comes to investing but yeah, getting rich is quite different. However, having this goal is some kind of motivation and goal in life. Why not aim for that if we know ourselves and there is a huge possibility that we can reach it. That I also dream of it but of course, that never comes if we never take the risk, if we do nothing, if we are afraid, that certainly become impossible. 3 years, 5 years, who knows right. That can even be made in 2 years if we are too aggressive to win the race.
2092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 09, 2022, 11:01:38 AM
Nets are really nothing when some of their stars don't play. We witnessed this last night as Nets lost to Celtics by 126-91 home. This was a really embarrasing loss by a huge point difference. Celtics have left Nets behind after this result in the standings. Nets need their stars so bad now to start climbing again. Their condition is really risky and I wouldn't like to see them staying out of the playoffs this season. This would be a big disappointment for a team like this.

they have a big problem, they are in a losing streak and, to be honest, I don't know if they can break it anytime soon as without Durant and some of the superstars playing not 100%, that wouldn't help them to win. In this game, no big 3, so their chance is very low. They can't keep this up forever, they need to qualify to the playoffs.

KBL x PBA?
This is the most recent news that's just been published today on PBA's website. KBL = Korean Basketball League
This is actually good news although they're still in discussions about a possible partnership in the future. Honestly, this is a good development and this is going to slap those PBA haters that are also saying that they don't want to upgrade.

I don't know what's the benefit of this partnership, I read the article in the link but it does not detail the full information on what's the purpose of the partnership. If this is good for the PBA and the players will be given more opportunity, then I think this is a good one.
2094  Economy / Economics / Re: Times Change! on: February 09, 2022, 10:19:17 AM

For those of you who don't know, "Times truly Change", this is why we shouldn't write things or people off too early, tomorrow might come with a lot of changes and surprises.

We can't blame people to think of Bitcoin as a scam thing 12 years ago as it was their first impression and lack of support and proof of its legality. But as the moment has come that many people could prove it and makes a lot of money, they had to change and embrace the reality. it wasn't surprising anyway as surely this comes even the leaders of different countries are into that kind of speculations, and gladly, many had changed as well and give their support just like WIKIPEDIA. They'll now know that they are wrong.

I understand how hard is your situation but to tell you what, everything has been done not in an easy way. Even those who have a lot of spare time still struggle to learn to trade and do market analysis, and that much more in your situation. But if you are determined to learn about trading, definitely you won't feel it hard instead, it challenges you more on how to achieve your goal.
There are a lot of sources of information online which is free but if you want the paid option, that is still available as well. I think watching online tutorials are good enough but the most important is to experience.
That is the way it should, it finds hard in the start but as we wanted to make it happen, we neither think hard, that can be just easy.
Well, learning trading depends on how we handle ourselves and manage our time and I believe that OP can do it. Sometimes we need to cheer up ourselves to boost our courage and even have more trust in ourselves. Like others who start in trading had suffer losses, well, we have to consider this as a part of learning, nothing it gets perfect at the very first time.
2096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to reinvest into Altcoins? on: February 05, 2022, 11:41:43 PM
Bitcoin has made good progress in last two days, we all know that altcoins will follow the same path and some Altcoins like Binance have already started to surge so I feel this would be the right moment to invest into Altcoins like ADA, Solana and ICP which are ready to explode any moments, what's your take on this? Things will be in our favour of we choose the altcoin's wisely and better to invest now rather doing r when it reaches the peak.

But my only worry is what if it's one more bulltrap.
I even investing altcoins before and until today. Whether the market will turn down or just during the bullish market, I'm still going to invest without worrying that I lose someday.

I'm not going to say it was the time and I guess you know that already OP. It was you who could decide. If we have the guts to risk, why not? Investing is risky anyway but risk-takers find their way better than those who are not. It has eventually been paid off the next day just be sure that we had chosen the best one.
2097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of the NFTs on: February 05, 2022, 10:59:35 PM
As the year 2021 is coming to an end what is the future for the new rave of the moment NFTs which seems to have taken over the cryptocurrency market in 2021 as the new year 2022 is coming and a lot of projects coming up what do we expect to see in the coming year will NFTs continue to drive or a new wave is coming?

Tons of more scams and terrible "art" that is hype inflated.  And then at a certain point most people will lose their "money" as the bottom falls out.  The art that is out there in nft land is awful.  Few and far between with people who actually spend time.  It's a cash grab fad, that's it.
many people had lost their money in crypto for they blindly invest in projects that are worthless.
I don't know but I really have not felt good with these NFTs since before and have had no interest in investing in them until today. But fortunately, I wasn't wrong and I made my decision right as many complaints to hear about suffering losses after buying NFT.
2098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 05, 2022, 01:32:42 PM
Exactly, there goes the set for the fight. As what I've read about the crowd, it's not just about being booed or cheering down the away fighter.
Yeah, I've forgotten that Casimero has been into this whole thing for his life and it won't matter to him anymore if there goes the fans that would subject him after the fight.
Right, regardless of the venue, Casimero has one thing in mind, to keep his title so that he will keep his hopes of good paycheck against the monster in the future. So still needs to train and focus first against Butler, and not to take into account the crowd itself. And knowing Filipinos, maybe there could be a minority crowd in UK to watch him fight, although it will be a big risk for them because they will be out numbered by the UK crowd and there could also be some heated arguments outside after the fight specially if John Riel win in a spectacular knock out.
About the paycheck on this match, AFAIK, it's not really that much for him and it's just a mandatory fight that he has to accept no matter what he thinks about it. But well, there's still money on it win or lose but he won't allow just to pass if it's about his title and record.
Just wishing the crowd won't make a ruckus whenever they see that it's in favor of Casimero.
It was already discussed in the past, and we all know it's not a big amount but Casimero has no choice but to fight the mandatory challenger or else he will lose his belt and his opportunity to get big fights in the future, so it's a must win for him.

True, as champion he gets the lion share but it was not that big because of the weight class.

Nevertheless it's time for Casimero to show case his skills again, he is on a momentum run and majority of us doubt that Butler can upset him even if the fight is going to be held in his home town.

So this is just a stepping stone kinda fight for Casimero, the bigger fish is still Inoue and then Donaire.

He can proceed to his goal after he will beat his mandatory challenger, but for now, he needs to focus and make sure that he will not miss the weigh in again as that would be the worst day of his career if it's going to happen.
2099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: February 05, 2022, 12:38:47 PM
^

I did not expect such a development. Many well-known sports publications were talking about this fight and now it turns out that the fight will not take place. Like many Iron Mike fans I would like to see this fight even if it was an exhibition fight. I'm not quite sure what this is for, but I can assume that the rumors are aimed at drawing attention to Logan Paul.

It was already coming from Mike Tyson that the fight will not happen, if the source is legit then it means that we are not gonna see this fight. What we are probably gonna see is a Logan Paul vs other fighter or Mike Tyson vs other fighter, but still in an exhibition fight.
2100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 05, 2022, 12:15:03 PM
Dallas Mavericks really made a great comeback against Philadelphia 76ers last night. Especially their performance in the third quarter was great and enough for winning the game. I really liked Doncic in this game as he made a delightful triple-double by 33 pts, 13 reb and 15 ast. His field goal success stayed below 50% maybe but he still had a big role in this nice win. Mavericks are still one of the powerful teams thanks to Doncic especially. I'm looking forward to seeing them in the playoffs too.
It was probably his best game this season, it was clearly a  domination and his stats are so impressive. If he can keep that up and continue to play like a real MVP, I guess the Dallas Mavericks would be able to rise and be the top 3 team in the West. And by the way, Dallas would not make it withou the support of the following players who also contributed well.

Brunson 19 points
 Bullock 20 points
 Finney-Smith 13 points
 Powell 14 points.
