Seeing as OP hasn't posted detailed specs, I contacted the seller and got the below specs on their P104 rigs:

SKU   Ethereal Capital GPU Mining System P104-100-X16
GPU   16x NVIDIA P104-100 4G GPU
CPU   Intel Pentium Processor D1508, Single socket FCBGA 1667, 2 Core, 4 Threads, 25W
Backplane   Supports up to 16x PCI-E GPU's at up to 300W TDP each
RAM   4GB DDR4 UDIMM (expandable to 128 GB DDR4 ECC RDIMM)
Storage   16GB flash storage (expandable via 6 x SATA3 ports and 1 x M.2 PCI-E 3.0 x4)
Network   2x 10G Ethernet Ports
IPMI Remote Management
1x Dedicated 1G Ethernet Port
Intelligent Platform Management Interface v2.0
IPMI 2.0 with virtual media over LAN and KVM-over-LAN support
Power Supply   3x 1200W PSU (UL certified)
Cooling   12x 120 x 120mm fans
Dimensions (L x W x H)   750mm x 390mm x 235mm x 20kg
Ethereum Mining Speed (Ethash)   600 MH/s @ 2500W (+/- 2.5%)
Zcash Mining Speed (Equihash)   8000 Solutions/s @ 2900W (+/- 2.5%)
Price   11500 USD excluding freight, import duties and taxes
Minimum Order QTY   50 units

I would be interested in seeing these specs for their P106 rigs, but didn't inquire as the MOQ is a bit too high for me.

For the price, it's not a terrible deal.  With current prices, ROI is about a year, but it's also worth noting the extra peripherals.

your specs are for the newer model.

8000 sols using 2900 watts
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The one I have has the p106-100

4400 sols using 1500 watts

mine uses the single  delta 2400 watt unit psu.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The newer model  was to have a metal shell around the  aluminum frame.
20862  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 18x S9's and 16x L3+'s w/ Power Supplies on: March 08, 2018, 02:26:44 PM
Sell me an L3+  with a power supply.  I am in New Jersey.

I know a very good escrow.

philipma1957  oh wait thats me.

Not trying to be silly  about the escrow but  If you want to sell one to me  for 1300 with a psu I will buy one and self escrow.
_______________________________________________________________________________ _____________________
_______________________________________________________________________________ _____________________

Most people won't want to do what you ask.

Say 1 btc in escrow with someone like me and then 3.5 btc trusting you.

I would offer to do this  sale  in 3x  1.5btc  shipments  if some wants to buy it all.

Then you the op won't  have to trust me for beyond 1.5 btc at anytime.

My escrow fee is 2%  so 2% of 4.5 btc =  0.09btc  plus tx fees  of maybe 0.001  for the 3 part sale.
20863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Happy New Years! Seventh alt coin thread! on: March 08, 2018, 12:26:18 PM

you can do 50%

Thanks. My mining room is around 85°f pretty consistently. The hybrids stay at 46°c while the air cooled are 68°-71°. Trying to plan ahead for the summer months.

Do you have any windows in the room? if i had a bunch of hybrids, i would probably build something to direct the hot air from the rads outside so its not recycling the same air... not exactly sure what your setup

Also running fans at 100% on hybrids would probably be a good idea, fans are super cheap and if you need to get temps cooler you can always stack more fans on the rad....

picture is of a joke, but stacking 2 on each side actually helps some....

I got the hybrids in Nov cooling has not been an issue.

My 2 car garage attaches to my basement/ den
I can run up to 7kwatts in the garage in the winter if it is under 30f outside the garage will go to about 90f
I simply reduce the gear in the warmer months.
I can run 1-1.5kwatts in the summer.

the nature of my house is the walk out basement was always colder then the top floor.

now with miner the walkout basement is always a bit warmer then upstairs.
my fuel heat bills dropped from 250 usd to 75 usd in the winter.

my ac bill goes up a bit so warm weather months I just have reduced mining.
but the solar array gets more light so I can move some gear to the array.

20864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New 16 gpu industrial style miner review. Will post details soon__updated on: March 08, 2018, 12:04:37 PM
i ran in to some issues running these on older switches as well.. ensuring the conventional ports (not just maintenance) were gigabit capable ensured proper compatability and connectivity.

these can be stacked too..

they are fun to hoist onto ladders and store on the top rack of your stack Smiley

the open frame is great for cooling.

your garage has come a long way from your 4gpu rigs eh phil?

I have all 1000 speed switches.  but this problem does show up once in a while.

I have modem- router - 24 port switch -switch - router - switch - router

Most mining runs on the 24 port switch the router is address 192.168.0.1

the second router  is address 192.168.1.1
the third router is address 192.168.10.1

I moved  the mac mini from the 24 port switch to the second router problem ended.

I estimate  that the garage has had more then 250,000 usd in gear pass through it.

Back in 2012 when I started I had:
12-14  2gpu rigs  all sold to gamers after 2-5 months . Max power pull was about 9kwatts.   =  20k
It had more then 1000 usb stick run in it.  -------------------------------------------------------  =  50k
Maybe 35 s-1's  ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- =   20k

I was thinking of getting 2 of these:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/202248089627

if anyone has any better options please feel free to share

They are highway robbery.

172 each is a rip off

eBay item

Much better

Does 4 s-9s only 70 or best offer

What are your psus?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-8-2FT-2-5M-250V-16A-C19-to-C20-PDU-Server-Cord-DP-N-2X976/281944781556?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/4-foot-Power-Cord-Black-NEMA-C20-to-C13-14AWG/301969734091?

one of the two above should work.

if you have 2x

 30 amp breakers

you may be able to do 4 s-9's on each pdu

you will be able to do 3 s-9's on each pdu for sure.

a lot depends on heat  and your voltage  I am lucky I get 242 in from the street and sag to 239

so 24 x 239 = 5736 watts  or 4 s-9's

So I activated  my slush account waiting for demo unit.

Once I get it I will meter power used against hash .

My thoughts on forced  asic boost.  It would even playing field if every pool does it.

It would be transparent if every pool does it.

Will it work maybe.

If I do 16.2 th at 1400 -1500 watts on slush that works for me.

but I want to mine on -ck pool I do on and off.
I want to mine on bravo-mining I do on and off
I also like to mine on mmpool.org

I hope a few of them  switch to asicboost tec.

I am in favor of trying it out.

Hey Phil, what fan speed do you set your hybrid 1080ti's at? My non hybrids are set to 78% but I'm thinking less % or auto for the hybrids?

you can do 50%

what is the number of your win 10 build?

I think it needs to be build 1709
20870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Happy New Years! Seventh alt coin thread! on: March 08, 2018, 12:15:09 AM
I can get server grade PSUs with same wattage for half the price and longer/custom cables...

Server grade PSUS simply can not be compared.
Basically you are comparing a pickup truck to a bmw sedan.
This is a complex subject but I will give it a shot.

The onda b250  8 full slot + 4  plug in jack board

Is the best board to use the 1500 watt atx on.

You can do 8 x 1080ti's set to 60% tdp    150 watts on smos pulls around 1300 watts
really low noise too.
...

What makes the most sense to me for these multi-GPU, riserless boards - keeping in mind my relative rookie status/experience here - is to use a reasonable size ATX PSU for the board and to supply whatever fraction of power the GPUs consume from the PCIe slots (75W is the max specified, but usually only AMD comes anywhere close to that) and use a server PSU for the 8/6 pin power inlets on the GPUs. So far I've got (2) Onda D1800 rigs and the one with (6) GTX 1060 draws 600W total at the wall on Equihash, and that is almost evenly split between the 650W ATX and 750W HP server PSUs (I used a DC amp-clamp to verify current supplied by the server PSU [NB - I'm an EE, so have this kind of test equipment just laying around]). The economics of this system are not quite as good as they could be because both PSUs are running at <50% load and total cost was around $100, but it should be able to easily handle a 6x 1080ti rig and then it would be quite attractive.

will do 5 1080ti  when you go to six the cpu struggles.

here is my question...

its been a hard one for me to figure out.

should i join the asic side of mining?

Hard question.

easy short answer is yes.

be an inclusionist  <  not sure it is a word  but how about be diverse .

Down side  hot loud break easy  bitch to fix.

are you near a myrig/bitmainwarranty location  they are somewhat okay on repair.

I have next to zero basics right now.
60gb in side hack usb sticks
32mh in jestanop usb sticks
coming in
1 bitmain L3+
1 dragon mint an if I like 4 more

that will be the power cap

28 1080ti's
and the 16 gpu beast will do the gpu end.

what is next just mine and hold until the fall.

hard pick for me.
i would like 3 ltc miners and 3 btc miners but its hard for me to drop that money on miners that cant be fixed nor resold easily
i want more than just gpu miners but i love the resell of video cards

also i thought about going back to nice hash with all my miners any input would be awesome

any thoughts on that would be nice

1300 watts at the wall with 5200 sols

it is a quiet build.

It is not what you build  so you are correct in that you have zero interest in the atx psu.

The only board  you really need the 1500/1600 watt atx for is the onda b250.

So if you don't use the board the atx has no value for you.

well  the corsair goes for 450

the evga goes for 529

the tokamak is 599

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182384&cm_re=tokamak-_-17-182-384-_-Product

so 399 is okay.

Very happy day today for all those who took the risk back in November.  Cheesy

Money was held a long time but looks like they will get some returns now.

Very tough to lay money out in Nov and wait till March about a 120 day delay.

But the Black Friday prices were good under 2k if I recall correctly.

If these do 16 x 92 = 1450 watts at the wall they will be a decent piece of gear.

I can not wait to run it.

Wow.

What I like about it:

1) the size it fits on a 3 foot shelf
2) you can tame the sound via underclock
3) the 16 slot board which allows  16 gpus to run off the small server

Now that it is working I will do more videos  with sound meter and power readings.

I clocked low on purpose  to keep sound down

4278  sols  doing about 1200 watts-  I will meter this

cpu usage of 28.9%
cpu temps 48c
ram used 2.9g of 3.8g  about .877g free

no looks like all  gear will go to asicboost see below:

Short update here:-

1. DragonMint's have version-rolling AsicBoost support (reference).
2. Shipping will begin around March 15 - 22, but there's a lot to ship so please be patient.
3. Shipped version number will be T1, not 16T due to some mixup with Russian import documents that cannot be changed in time.
4. This picture is legit and the final version that will ship https://twitter.com/MyRig_com/status/971205544533835776
5. Phillip will get a demo machine once the shipping starts. But the reason for the secrecy was AsicBoost capability could be revealed before the patent holder opened the patent. This is unfortunate, we would have preferred more openness, but it is what it is, patents suck, but in this case, the patent can help protect the Bitcoin ecosystem. Now we're so close to shipping, we'll just give a demo machine to phillip once we ship.
