1st photo - air is mixing and the miner on top is eating hot air from the miner below. Heat rises, so the lower miner gets the cooling room air, the upper miner gets a mix.
2nd photo - back-pressure from the Y. If you removed the Y and vented both outdoors I think you would achieve your objective.
I thought of that too - and put the hot one on the bottom - temps stayed the same though. (with no duct hooked up at all) The hot one, even on the bottom, runs ~20c hotter than the other one. I also tried only running the hot one by itself and the temps are still at ~100. Room temp is below 20c all the time (there's alot of airspace and concrete floor so that room is quite cool all the time). switch the fans And screen shot the firmware so we can see if it is the same |

OP has taken multiple orders from multiple users, nobody has seen their order shipped. I've left feedback on their profile and hopefully we can get a DT member to do the same. OP's last post was over 5-days ago, yet they were active on the forum yesterday. It is clear, in my opinion, they are avoiding this thread and trying to lead users on for a bit longer through PM. Multiple people have gotten the same run around story, about tracking numbers and what not, yet the seller is absurdly late on delivering what they are promising without explanation.
If anybody has yet to file a dispute I would highly encourage you to do so at this point.

Hi,
I have new rig, first build, starting out with 2 * 1060 6gb cards.
I have followed guides and read a lot. I have got Claymore running in single mode with nanopool.
I am fining the hash rate on my GPU's is fluctuating quite a bit and having swapped risers, looked at system resources etc I can't seem to remedy it. Before I go crazy I just wondered if someone could let me know if there is an actual problem or if in fact this is what would be expected. I have posted a short extract from Claymore below.

hi all!
I ordered some v008s risers, and one of the risers has a manufacturing problem with the small piece that connects to the motherboard (not all pins are separated).
Can I safely mix the bigger piece of the v008s riser (the piece u plug your GPU into) with the small piece of a older model, like the v007? Are they compatible?

Hi everyone,
I recently have purchased some S9's and the according PSUs with them from Bitmain.
As of the past 3 weeks I was only running one S9. The problem that I am having is that after the first like 12 days of running i've had the PSU go out on me. Does not power on whatsoever. The way i had it set up(going to be as detailed as possible) was the power supply, which is 1600w, running off a 5000 watt rated step up/down transformer plugged into a 15 amp, 110v circuit(using a 100ft, 14 guage wire). I have the antminers outside in custom built shed, soundproofed, as well as including a 5,000 btu airconditioner fitted into the shed, considering how warm it gets in the area that i live in. The Air conditioner was also running on the same circuit and everything handled pretty well for most part till the PSU gave out on me.
The antminers circuit boards, for those first 12 days or so, were all running at a consistant 84-87 degrees celcius.
At that point, not knowing a whole lot of electricity and what not, I just moved the air conditioner to a different circuit, having just the antminer s9 and psu running off one, thinking that might of been the issue.
As a first thought.. maybe the Air codintioner overworked itself and drew more power, but that wouldnt have made sense because it would of just set off the breaker right?
then i though maybe it was just a bad psu?
So, then i just went ahead to just run the s9 and air c separate from eachother on different circuits and since i had another psu with the other miner i bought, I just switched the bad one with the new. Though on the same miner.
It ran normal again for another 10 days, i believe. Still at the same temperature, chips running at abnout 84-87, then again the secound PSU just went out. Going through 2 PSU's now i figured there's something seriously wrong.
Could it be my set up?
A temperature issue?
The Miner itself?
Just a bad PSU?(though two!?)
I don't know if i should just invest some money into an electrictian. I recently bought another PSU, but its just sitting here. don't want to burn through this one, being my third.
If anyone has some good expertise on this subject and issue, i would greatly appreciate it! Thank YOU!

But here is the deal you can't use a 14 ga ext cord 100 feet long. soooooooooo mofo dumb it is sad. second most transformers suck good ones cost 1000 plus and still need a good source of power not a 15 amp circuit. do yourself a favor and sell the gear before you kill yourself to your family or worse a poor overworked firefighter coming to put out the fire. BTW I was polite here as nasty as it seems that I was. I was gentle because you did life threatening stupid things bro. We're about to ditch this massive modular switch at work and I spotted these power supplies. I've seen other miners use server PSU's but these are a little different. I'd love to cut a corner on the cost of adding more PSU's. Check out the connection on the back, is this standard? How/where can I get the proper breakout board for something like this? Worth while??

Okay I will buy one then. Just a mobo. I have a question has anyone done 8x 1080tis on this board? Yes, many clients are running 1080ti's already. Temps stay around 65-68C if using inside our case with Delta fans. Your case is not needed I use waterblocks. I want to try your mobo. My guess is it will suffer due to the low priced weak cpu you put in it. I will run it in smos and compare it to this mobo I am not knocking your mobo as it will allow me to use the 2400 watt delta server psu and that is a big plus.I am knocking the weak cpu option only. It truly would be nice if it could have a better cpu as an option for power builds like I will do. I will have 3 different 8x 1080ti builds on 3 different mobos two will be using the 2400 watt delta psu (no longer available) My first 8 slot builds on 2 other mobos both have flaws. One needs an atx and there are no 2400 watt atx psu's it also needs 1 short 1080ti One has heat issues and can not run 8 cards via the pass through design it uses both allow good cpus. yours looks to be good in every way but weak cpu. I will test it out when it arrives Thanks for the feedback but so far nobody has complained about the CPU performance. People are happy about the low voltage and efficiency of the CPU. We already have professional miners using our boards that have 1000+ GPU farms. We had the intel 4415U CPU version also that we sold, but it was limited quantity only. I actually plan to build a test system with 8x 1080TI also with waterblocks. can't charge let me know when you fix it  a follow up I was able to buy a motherboard for 224 ships march 10 -24 paypal now seems to work. |

This is to support up to 16 x P102-100's, or higher wattage GPU's (300W TDP each) once they become available."  What a great idea, I just love HP DPS 1200 PSU's.  They're robust and reasonably priced. Just FYI, if your using the HP common slot psu's like in the picture you can just daisy chain them together via the breakout boards now with the same black and yellow power cables...atleast this has worked flawless for me on all my HP model psu's, not sure about other versions.... Since i buy up used ebay server psu's for like $8-20 a pop, i try to run them at half or less the rate they are rated for, so my 1200watt units i run them around 600watts or less and such... Every rig i have running on HP common slot PSU's with the breakout boards i have, i have them all daisy chained together..... I can completely turn off any 1 of the 3 PSU's while the rig is mining and it will not skip a beat and continue mining shifting the load to the other psu's  this is awesome stuff. I am looking at this design and awaiting it on tues next week. I have 14 1080ti hybrids. After I do a long review and test with enclosed 1060s I may pull them and try it out with 14 hybrids 😀 |

For those of you still mining ETH... I've got a weird issue on 3 of my 4 6x470 rigs that Im hoping to get some advice on.
Seems like ever since the Window10 Fall Creators Update (i put it off as long as i could), I've been getting this strange behavior using Claymore 10.2. I also tried 10.5 & 10.6 but made it worse, so went back to 10.2.
Here's what happens:
- miner starts fine but in some cases after restarting, GPU0 starts running slower than all other 5 GPUs. Usually between 20-23 vs the 25-26 of the others
- it can run like this for a while, but then many times will eventually end up with a "GPU 0 hangs in open CL - miner restart". Sometimes it does this reset every 30-60 minutes but sometimes it ends up doing it every couple of minutes, which of course kills mining returns
- since this is occurring consistently across 3 rigs and is always GPU 0 being the culprit, it seems very likely that this is a software issue and not hardware.
- I had a somewhat similar thing happen with Cryptonite miner... GPU0 was always way slower on all 4 rigs. This was solved by manually designating the "-h" value for GPU0 in the .bat file, but there does not appear to be an "-h" option in ETH dual miner.
Does anyone have a suggestion on a setting tweak within Claymore to try to and fix this issue?
I don't have much advice for you. I was having similar issues at one point with a 6 card rig I had on ETH. My solution was two fold so I don't know what might have resolved the issue. Solution was since my windows boxes are low resources, they didn't run 6 cards well. So i switched to four card rigs. I also tuned down some of the overclocking settings. I suspect my issue was resolved more with not trying to run 6 cards on a low end windows PC. More than likely in your case you have more available resources, as I was running some lean boxes. try to lower every clock by 5% or try to switch to smos |

They're robust and reasonably priced. 5 x 1200 = 6000 watts which would do an entire 30 amp 240 volt circuit no need for a pdu just an l6-30r socket and a cable to the backplane It could do 16 1080tis set to 80% tdp 16 x 200 = 3200 watts load on the psus = 3200/6000 or 53.33% load on the circuit = 3200/7200 or 44.44% you could use 20 amp 240 volt citcuits which would be 3200/4800 or 66.7% load |

Hi I'm keen to know how you control your fans. I would like to optimize my airflow setup and therefore install a 6x fan row. They are all molex powered (some cheap china fans I guess) and chain linked to a single molex adapter. Sure I could connect it directly to my PSU but then I got 100% (too noisy, not efficient). I could use Speedfan tool but therefore I have to connect it directly to my board. Nothing happening when I do that and is it even possible regarding watt if I connect 2 rows à 6 fans (12 total) directly? How do you manage the fan speed of your rig fans? Or should I just buy an external fan adapter like this: https://goo.gl/DoKM67 and connect with an adapter my 2 fan rows? Wow really nice PSU, much cleaner than mine. They sell spare pcie cables and the psu has three jacks for pcie/cpu This means three dual pcie cables for six pods. Pulling 300-320 watts. Plus the 24 pin can plug into a 49 port usb hub doing a few two pacs |
