My favorite team is Italy so this World Cup was missing the usual emotions, but at least it helped me guess the right resutls
Thanks everyone!
[/quote]

nice win there,mate!
my team didn't qualify as well, but I made some good 300+% of my initial bank betting on this world cup
I was late to participate, but my predictions were same,so would have been the fourth one competing for the prize, hehe
great competition there,Cloudbet, hope there will be another one for the finals

money do not come out of nowhere, seriously? tell it to your colleagues at Central banks all over the world!

TheQuin is doing a fine job, countering the trolls posts.  Wink

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I'll ignore most of his verbal diarrhoea (especially when he breaks forum rule 22 and talks about his service) and just correct the outright lies and most moronic mistakes.

I too think that mere ignoring of a poster isn't right even if most of his/her sentences are total absurd. It is much better to set off facts contrasting with their lies. Thus readers can get a better picture of the situation and the troll gets a chance to change for better under the pressure of facts that contradict his/her assertions.

Meanwhile another user wins 0.26240036 BTC with just 70 tickets! I wish I was that lucky. Smiley

sometimes the troll has nothing of substance to say and it is better not to feed him
but this particular one is a very helpful troll Smiley
he promotes freebitcoin, dilligently posting his "invaluable" comments, thus keeping the topic alive and at the top
if he really hated the site,he would have stayed quiet
2105  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unique Bitcoin Game - For The Ultimate Experience on: July 09, 2018, 11:52:07 AM
Whoever gets the first turn wins for sure. I don't find anything interesting in this game. This is a stupid way to bust all the money. I don't understand the Provably Fair system, Hashes are used as Bet IDs. How do someone verify their bet using only Hash?  Cheesy There is no SSL certificate either. I will definitely stay away from sites like this.

indeed whoever starts first has 100% chance of winning it
there is no provably fair system, just a parody
and yes, stay away untill the owner fixes the issues with the certificate, provably fair etc.
or stay away in general, use the free faucet if you want to try this ultimate experience and judge for yourself
2106  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018/07/07]Complete List of Bitcoin Friendly Countries in 2018 on: July 08, 2018, 06:06:40 PM
You can find in this article a list of countries supporting cryptocurrencies with a brief summary of laws and banks allowing or opposing to the usage of cryptocurrencies. Interesting  Smiley
I like his blog,by the way
the author knows his stuff and posts quality articles
this one is very informative and interesting to read,he missed or omitted on purpose a few
like Australia,South Korea,New Zealand, but he did alot of research and the brief summaries are way better than many of the separate articles on the subject countries

Congratulations to Autotry, who just set a new record for the highest multiplier hit on bustadice! Autotry won a bet with a 100,000.00x target, turning just 2 bits into Ƀ 0.2:

-snip-
I wonder how long did autotry patienly waited for this moment. Its just sad that its only 2 bits wagered.

he wasn't patiently waiting-he was autotrying,as suggested by his username  Grin
but I'm curious myself as to how many tries before he hit that
just to add to the topic of faucets and the usefulness of such-if bustadice had a faucet, this hit could have been made from the faucet money-effectively 0.2 free bitcoins
2109  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unique Bitcoin Game - For The Ultimate Experience on: July 07, 2018, 07:20:38 PM
Not exactly the ultimate experience. I've played this exact sort of game before. Fun for a while, but you ultimately lose out to whales/bots once they trick you by getting you to win a few rounds. Lesson learnt from me, you want to play this game, be prepared to lose early, or to lose a lot by playing long. I actually lose 0.1 BTC once, just playing for a few hundred satoshi initial bet. Terrible experience, but now I just avoid.

there is no FAQ of any kind,so we play against a bot and whoever stacks the last coin-wins
there is no certificate, cannot afford 10$ to get one?
what is the fairnes tab all about? to check the hash of what exactly?
how long does the round last? till I get out of money?
no info about minimal withdrawal,tx fee, deposit or max bet
looks like a pre-beta rather than "ultimate experience"

very bad day for me Angry
I managed to get my balance almost doubled after a month+ then I lost it 3-4 days ago
then today I made another deposit close to ~30 mbtc, I was hoping it could last a month or so
but what happened was... 27 lose streak in a row Shocked Angry Cry
It feels like I'm donating to the prize pool contest

Well that is the risk with gambling, sometimes you win but in the end the house always wins  Grin.
However having a 27 lose streak is quite unusual to see, I guess the luck is for the moment not on your side.

Why it is unusual to see 27 lose streak while we are talking about 5% house edge? Even more, he did not even mention the payout he used when he got the 27 lose streak. It is very possible to get 27 lose streak even if we are playing in 1% house edge site, indeed the possibility will be lesser than on 5% house edge but I do not think it is as unusual thing.

I myself got a 27 red streak on a 2x multiplier back in 2014
up to now it is the longest streak that I ever had, had a couple of 24 reds in a row but thats it
this is not something extra super ordinary, with 5% house edge it is even more probable
sorry for your loss, but gambling is like that-you win some, you lose some (and more, usually)
2111  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-05] Presidential Decree Sets the Stage for Legalizing Crypto in Uzbekis on: July 07, 2018, 05:10:37 PM
interesting development,so now ex-USSR will have two possible crypto havens
after Belarus now Uzbekistan wants to join the fray
unfortunately, legislation only is not enough to see the investors and businessmen flock to the country
Belarus doesn't have any electric power, they get everything from Russia in this regard
Uzbekistan's infrastructure is lacking too,but this is the right steps to be taking
and most importantly-many see it as a testing ground for Russia to start legalizing cryptocurrencies,at least stopping their wishy washy approach
where one day they are legalizing it,the other day-banning (at least according to their news )
2112  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Switzerland the best country to launch an ICO on: July 07, 2018, 03:46:03 PM
Switzerland is a good place to open such  a business,if you do not mind outrageously high prices there and
an overal pricey cost of living,if you plan to operate an e-business from abroad,Switzerland should be one of your primary countries to research
another good option would be not Russia,as suggested above,but...Belarus,their neighbours
it is a VERY cheap country to live at,especially if you are running a business and what is more important, they leglaized cruptocurrencies and made everything
to attract crypto business there, including this legislation:

2113  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: BITCOIN IN AFRICA on: July 07, 2018, 03:14:21 PM
Which African countries allow Bitcoin transactions? Is Bitcoin currently used to purchase items in any African country?

Currently, there five African countries that allow transactions on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, they are South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, and Morocco.

South Africa. In December 2014 the Reserve Bank of South Africa issued a position paper on virtual currencies whereby it declared that virtual currency had ‘no legal status or regulatory framework’. The South African Revenue Service classified bitcoin as an intangible asset.

Namibia. In September 2017 the Bank of Namibia issued a position paper on virtual currencies entitled wherein it declared cryptocurrency exchanges are not allowed and cryptocurrency cannot be accepted as payment for goods and services.

Zimbabwe. The Reserve Bank Of Zimbabwe is sceptical about bitcoin and has not officially permitted its use. On 5 April 2017 however, BitMari, a Pan-African Blockchain platform got licensed, through its banking partner, AgriBank, to operate in the country.

Nigeria. As of 17 January 2017, The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has passed a circular to inform all Nigerian banks that bank transactions in bitcoin and other virtual currencies have been banned in Nigeria. However, during the year, the CBN (through its Deputy Director on Banking and Payments System, Musa Itopa-Jimoh) clarified the circular and its stance on bitcoin, citing that a lot of people misinterpret the central bank’s recent warning. It noted that "Central bank cannot control or regulate bitcoin. Central bank cannot control or regulate blockchain. Just the same way no one is going to control or regulate the Internet. We don’t own it". https://news.bitcoin.com/central-bank-of-nigeria-says-we-cant-stop-bitcoin/

Later on, a committee was set up by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) to look into the possibility of the country adopting the technology driving bitcoin and other digital currencies – blockchain. The committee has submitted its report but "several sub-committees are still working on the issue" according to the Director, Banking & Payments System Department at CBN, Mr. ‘Dipo Fatokun. https://www.today.ng/technology/internet/2575/nigeria-adopted-bitcoin-technology-cbn

Morocco. On 19 December 2017, Abdellatif Jouahri, governor of Bank Al-Maghrib, said at a press conference held in Rabat during the last quarterly meeting of the Bank Al-Maghrib's Board of 2017 that bitcoin is not a currency but a "financial asset", He also warned of its dangers and called for a framework to be put in place for consumer protection. http://www.menara.ma/fr/actualit%C3%A9s/economie/2017/12/20/2333841-le-digital-champ-de-bataille-de-bank-al-maghrib-en-2018.html

there are no african countries, except Algeria that explicitly ban bitcoins
so,in theory, most of the African country allows bitcoin transactions, since whatever is not prohibited is allowed
there were many articles about Morocco thinking about banning bitcoins, but it seems that they reconsidered
countries like Zambia,Egypt and Saudi Arabia seem to have some restrictions in place, but they do not ban transactions or exchnage of coins
2114  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Restore it's Place in the Market? on: July 07, 2018, 03:01:33 PM
knowing the answer to this question could make you a multibillionaire
bitcoin won't go away for sure,it is here to stay
the price of it could be in any range from 1.000$ to 25.000$ by the end of the year
you all saw the see-saw that the price has been and is at the moment, but if you forgot, the last year's price was 400$
so cannot really complain about 6.500$ levels,I surely do not
2115  Economy / Gambling / Re: Invest in Gaming Website on: July 06, 2018, 04:27:45 PM
probably, not the best section to be posting this at
if you are looking for coders or investors, try: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=12.0
also you are spamming posts with less than 10 minutes interval, this is not how you keep your topic at the top

2116  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 22 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: July 06, 2018, 01:26:39 PM
And I think the psychological factor and player's bankroll to stand for a bad streak is also important: a missjudgement like a gamblers fallacy can put you out of the game before you can achieve at least that 1% HE

if you quickly skim through the player's wagered and profit/loss,
the ones that keep it not hidden, you can see that way too many players have loss figures much bigger than the estimated HE of 1%
means that either the strategy is not optimal or the "meaningful" bets went wrong
for example: you can bet a million 1 satoshi bets at 50% chance and then place one 0.01 bet and lose it all
and too many players believe that if they just had ten reds in a row, they simply must win the next one-gambler's fallacy number one
the main  cause of so many tears and scam accusations  Grin
Sounds like they have no bankroll management to be able to make a huge number of bets and had to stop after they catched a negative variance streak. Because the more bets you make, the closer you will come to the 1% HE.

This is true for maybe a bot but humans are crazy unpredictable.

Even if a player plays for a long time and has a HE of 1%, they will most likely switch their bet values around and basically get more larger losses and less small wins.

Basically a good example is someone who is betting like 1 satoshi on 50/50 and they find that luck is on their side, and so the next bet is like 100x larger which results in a loss. So their balance is much smaller but their win/lose streak is still within the house edge.

it is amazing how people gamble without knowing the basics sometimes
when you go to a bank and deposit, you tend to read about it,read the contracts, fineprint etc.
but in gambling and politics people think that they will get lucky ,come on we can't have the same crappy politicians 5 times in a row-
the next try is going to be a winner for sure  Cheesy

if all of the gamblers are educated about bank management, gambling basic strategies and do not chase losses or go full retard
IMHO,the casinos would have had much less profit, but on the other hand, the player's base would be larger
it seems like the same group of people is gambling at every single casino I'm registered
2117  Economy / Gambling / Re: Script for bustadice.com - Smart autobet script for good profits on: July 06, 2018, 11:12:39 AM
I just checked it out and you say starting balance is 1000 sat - 5000 sat which is you can end up with 0.1 btc? This is too good to be true, it is more than 50k multiplier in just a day and yet you said it is really risky thing to do. Let us cut it into half 0.05 btc per day then in a month you will get 1.5 btc payout. But why you do not start using it yourselves? You can even get more than 0.006btc per day instead of selling the script

Thats why price was changed,  now doing it by my self, it wiill be more safe to keep this from large publics

Yes and I do not understand why suddenly its price is rocketing so high like 0.75 btc from 0.006? There is no way someone will buy this thing. May be if it is stay 0.006 btc, it will be bought by someone juat to try but for 0.75 btc over this script, no one will take it for sure. And you said you will do it by yourselves? What is the guarantee? There is no escrow that you will get us profit
I think statistics will say enough
https://bustadice.com/player/bitus2
https://bustadice.com/player/bitus

0.75 will stop from buying alot peoples, and if some1 will buy it for 0.75btc, he won't public it in network , since he understands, by doing it = kill working and profit method, 0.75 for that script is ok. and no, this is not variation of lol@martingale, where math waiting is always lose that type of strategy, not dalambert, plumb or other who you want, there is no strategy at all, we using other entry, because use templates for gambling is not right:) and yes, it does automate clicks, but it also use methods, which can directly change wager result at total, I knew what alot people will think, there is no working "scripts", well, i gave them chance to buy it for 0.006, now it is 0.75, and i don't think, to make price less, since it is really work, and made 0.24 in 2 days(spending 1-2h per day)

dude, you are out of your mind if you think anyone will buy it for 0.75 btc
or even for 0.01 btc for that matter, but good luck, maybe there are crazy people out there, you never know
if you made 0.24 in two days, you should quickly hide the script from public and bankrupt all of the dice sites in your area
2118  Economy / Gambling / Re: GoUp.bet | Provably Fair Dice | *** 10 LTC Promo Started *** on: July 06, 2018, 10:50:24 AM
Nice site ..but game concept 100% based on freebitco.in .. clones of all dice sites ..but not bad.. good ..

funny.... if anything, freebitcoin was not even remotely the first site to introduce dice betting
primedice.com considered by many the first to introduce the current standards of dicing games, almost every site took the idea or parts of the design, modules etc. from them
and if anything, the site uses Primedice and Stake's themes and fonts etc. and you could call it their lookalike
but the main thing is what under the bonnet and it is different
2119  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Fantasy Sports on: July 05, 2018, 08:50:58 PM
can confirm that the link is working now
was able to register and claim the 10k code
the problem with the site is that there not so many markets to participate in
was only a golf event available at the time and everything I know about golf is Tiger Woods  Grin
2120  Economy / Gambling / Re: GoUp.bet | Provably Fair Dice | *** 10 LTC Promo Started *** on: July 04, 2018, 01:06:04 PM
Is this site inspired by Stake.com?

Yes the design and functionalities of this site was inspired by some dice sites. There are similarities no denying of that, But this is not just a clone site.

I see. I just wondered as I did notice that you're using the same font as Stake.com and while exploring the site, specifically on the email address set-up page, I also noticed that the whole sentence is the exact sentence in the same page of Stake. Well, best of luck and more players to come!

plagiarism is the best form of flattery
it looks very much like Stake and Primedice, but it is not always bad to copy the best
unless the whole code is stolen,in this case its a no
but I'm pretty sure the fonts, layouts and interface can't be copyrighted, for a new site it is ok to be a lookalike
but at some point the owner should consider getting an original design
