2101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about privacy coin? on: April 28, 2022, 09:15:37 AM
Sad but true.
The trend is not about privacy anymore and it's more on dogs, NFT, DeFi, Web3, etc... It's difficult to go back where Monero was being discussed left and right. Let's just say the file is buried but it's still there. But who knows, maybe somewhere in the future a billionaire will clean up dust and pull that file again and make it surface to this new world of cryptocurrencies.

Yeah, gone are the days that crypto enthusiast are more on the privacy than regulation. But I guess that is the part of the world we live in right now. It is evolving, what remains constant is change so as much as we hate it, those privacy coins are not going to be patronage by crypto investors because their investments are not going to yield big profits as compare to the current hype.
2102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 28, 2022, 08:29:50 AM

Golden State Warriors -10.5 @2.22

Maximizing the risks since I think they will end the series later on with the BANG.

Not much analysis is involved. Simply, I only refer to the Warriors' Game 1 and 2 dominance playing at Chase Center (former Oracle Arena) where they end up beating the Denver Nuggets with a huge lead.

Good luck to all.

I loved it, though I only got -9 but I like the -10.5 as well, better odds for you and I believe that the Warriors will dominate to end the series. Just like what is happening in the first game, the Warriors will win and cover the spread.

Unfortunately, Golden State Warriors just managed to breach the Denver Nuggets' lead in the 4Q. I really thought that they will close the series with a big lead like what they did playing at their home arena back in Games 1 and 2. I placed a good amount here and have no choice but to move on lol and prepare for the next set of games especially in my much-awaited Dallas Mavericks vs Utah Jazz game tomorrow.

Yes, Nuggets figure out how to beat the Warriors but it's still not enough. I'm happy for Cousins because he tallies his best record in the playoffs and that quite guarantees that his contract with the Nuggets will be longer. If not for him, maybe the Warriors have already dominated the game.

About the Dallas vs Jazz game, I would place by bet on the Dallas, they are in control of this series, and Luka being able to play very well, they should close the series tomorrow.

Yeah, GSW is too much for Jokic to conquer, although Jordan Poole has some sort of so-so performance in his last 2 games, Steph carry the team again.

And I agree with the Dallas vs Jazz series, Luka is just toying with the defense of the Jazz on him. He is still unstoppable and this could have been done already if not for Luka not playing in the first 2 games. This could have been a sweep.

Congrats to those who won today.
2103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: April 28, 2022, 02:16:51 AM
It seems in paper, this could be a very difficult fight for another Filipino boxer. His Mexican opponent is good, no doubt about it. But one thing that can you say about Filipino's is that they have a big heart. So I'm expecting that Mark will give everything in this fight, he might fall short though against Vargas. But who knows, maybe he will bring his A game and knock out this dude out.
2104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 27, 2022, 07:51:30 PM
Just a conservative bet, a parlay with nice decent odds:

So it's official, Celts sweeping the Nets. Celtics will face the winner of the Bucks vs Bulls. So another great series if ever they will face the Bucks.

Then Toronto trying to tie the series next game. Will the Sixers choke this year again with Doc Rivers?

Is this a prematch bet or a live bet? The odds seems low for a parlay bet but still this is a very safe bet considering you choose + handicap for Boston instead of -ve. I can’t imagine 76ers losing to Toronto with this current roster. They might be adjusting for a new a strategy. I’m surprised to see that Toronto get a win on Philly homecourt with a dominating game. Harden and Embiid performance today is very poor which is the reason for there lose. I’m sure they will bounce back again.

Sorry for the late reply, yes it was a pre match bet, both odds are 1.61 that's why I said it's a conservative but decent odds.

I wasn't able to bet on the last game, damn, missed it totally, could have won a few sats on the Miami vs Hawks.

Anyhow, I have the Bulls +12.5 at 1.97 odds. Good luck to everyone.
2105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 27, 2022, 06:35:02 PM
Miami Heat have ended the series by 4-1. They won the last game of the series by 97-94 last night and finished the job. They are really unstoppable now but we will see what they will do in next stages. The winner of the Philadelphia 76ers - Toronto Raptors series is going to have a matchup against Heat. 76ers are 3-2 ahead in the series now and I think that they will be advancing to next round. By the way, the Grizzlies - Timberwolves series is going on great also. Grizzlies have got 3-2 ahead by winning last night, 111-109.

People forget that Miami Heat is the top seed in the East, so no surprised that they defeated the Hawks, it should have been a sweep, but nevertheless it's 4-1.

Yeah, what concerns is the 76ers vs Raptors, it seems that the ghost of the past is going to haunt the 76ers again (the Kawhi shot), and of course coach Doc Rivers has also the history of choking in the playoffs with the Clippers. So Raptors are trying to make history here, from 0-3 down and winning the series.
2106  Economy / Speculation / Re: Terra cofounder Do Kwon is the one who is pumping Bitcoin on: April 27, 2022, 06:14:18 PM
For some time period it is the Terra Co-founder. Further more and more speculative means gets added. For now nothing has been happening around to connect the market. Now the rumours of MicroStrategy selling bitcoin is termed the reason for the bear move. However this is a minor dip and it isn't bearish. Even at the price of $38500 bitcoin is predicted to stay bullish. For now the strict monetary policy have negatively impacted speculative assets. This includes cryptocurrencies, stocks and commodity futures.

I haven't heard that MicroStrategy is selling at this point, maybe this is just a rumor that causes the market to shrink again, to $38k.

Anyhow, there could be a lot of players in the market having their own agenda, like Do Kwon or Michael Saylor that can change the price because of their huge holdings.  And usually we are affected by this movement. But we have enough experience though to just go with the flow right now and hold, and there is no reason to sell in this bear market.

2108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto profits on: April 26, 2022, 02:31:42 AM
I always withdraw some profit from crypto into my bank account because always profit from crypto in the bank account is safe and if you will reinvest again your profit this is not a good idea and your profit and your investment can suffer loss, so that is why I always prefer to withdraw in a bank account instead of hold in cryptocurrency.

It's really up to your risk appetite, if you wanted to have a bigger profit then obviously you will put huge risk and not to withdraw unless you are satisfied with your margin.

The only thing is that if you kept it in an exchange then there is a chance that you can get hack or something and then lose your money. So there is this option to withdraw early and put it in your bank account or get at least your capital in the beginning.
2109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 26, 2022, 01:40:35 AM
Watching this Nets/Celtics game and you can see the Nets players giving up. They aren’t putting in any effort on defense and are just bombing 3s. I think this fourth quarter is going to be ugly to watch. I hope I’m wrong and we see Kevin Durant step up and do something amazing to win the game, but as soon as they went down 15 you could see the fight in them die. Nash is tossing Blake Griffin out there to try and get some new energy, but even Dragic is half trying out there. Claxton also looks like he’s going to break the record for the most missed free throws without a make in the playoffs. He’s currently 0-9 with Shaq holding the old record of 0-8.

It's over now, the Celtics has won the series, they did try to put up a fight though, when Tatum got his 6 fouls, then made a 9-0 run if I'm not mistaken.

But their defense though, it's so poor that they allowed easy layup even if they are trying to close the gap.

Then Durant misses two crucial 3's, missed a free throw and that's it.
2110  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear market every team will pump their own coin on: April 24, 2022, 12:54:51 AM
Bear market what is might coming if fed really really decide to cut off big money dollars if they do so.
Then btc off course not moving and few top coins also will not move but this situation is not bad becouse each team will pump their own coins so we will see most of market stalled and 1-3 coins pumping its get urself in the team if you want to eat each team will pump their own coins.

On the contrary, I think the pump should happen in bull market and not in the bear because for sure investors are reluctant to invest in a market that has a lot of uncertainty.

Maybe those coins that are below in the list might have a good pump and dump scheme. But for solid coins, they will still continue regardless of the market condition. And the thing with this pump and dump and that we don't know which amongst the coins are going to be highlighted by this group so it's better to just stay away.
2111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 24, 2022, 12:14:37 AM
I'm riding on the Boston Celtics against the Nets +1.5 at 1.93 live betting. I know that this is going to be a dog fight because the Nets need to stay alive in this series and with two of the best players, Durant and Irving. But the Celtics has the momentum in this game, with a good 2-0 lead and seems to have the defensive players to stop either Durant and Irving. They are leading 5, end of Q1.
2112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun creates "the most decentralized Stablecoin" on: April 23, 2022, 11:16:41 AM
Doesn't matter if it's the most decentralized stablecoin, the concern is if it will run on fractional reserves, although as reported it has billions already.

And I guess Justin has lost his touch, his project didn't even move a lot during the bull run as compare to other altcoins. Maybe this is his way of making his name relevant again, but not sure if it will save him.
2113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 23, 2022, 10:48:12 AM
That Suns game was close but you’ve got to love them getting the win and covering the spread. Booker is breathing a sigh of relief. Ayton put up 28 and 17, Chris Paul joined him with 28 and 14… They really stepped up. Trying hard to end this series before Zion gets the chance to come back. I hope we see this DeAndre Ayton going forward. You can see how he really takes a backseat when Booker is around, but he’s capable of greatness on his own. He was outstanding the first three quarters.

Yeah, it's just a matter of adjustments for the Suns in this game and they proved that they can win games without Booker in the playoffs. Ayton has big numbers and he dominated inside unlike in the previous games wherein he was outmuscled. But the series is not over yet, but for sure the Suns will be the favorite and hopefully they can cover the spread in the next game for us.
2114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Sultan vs Butler - WBO Bantamweight Interim title fight. on: April 23, 2022, 02:49:22 AM
Did any crypto sport bookies laid odds on this fight? I haven't seen it on my favorite sports bookies that's why I'm asking.

Just a waste of opportunity for Sultan in this fight, me thinks that this fight could be close by according to the judges score card, this is a lopsided victory and Jonas didn't have a chance to go for a knock out or even make the fight close.
2115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Paradox of Gambling behavior on: April 23, 2022, 01:23:29 AM
What do you think is the best game/ sports to gamble on ?

Sports betting.

Do you do it for winning?

Yes, and of course you want to have some fun and enjoy the match.

Are the ideas in the article according to you correct? How many times you usually win in a game of chance+skills?

Article has some truth in it. I haven't recorded though how many times I win or lose on skill based games. But for gamblers, I don't think they keep any statistics though, to be fair, when you ask gamblers they will not tell the truth if they are on the winning side or losing bad (most likely the former).
2116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any unexpected incidents - Bitcoin on: April 23, 2022, 12:37:12 AM
Yeah, but if you look at the images, it all has something to do with wealth and luxury and travel obviously. So if you can piece it together, you have wealth through bitcoin, maybe trading it all along with your laptop and then have the luxury to travel around the world first class. Well this is just me speculating in terms of marketing POV.
2117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I found a new hidden gem called AltSwitch. Do you think it will go 100x? on: April 22, 2022, 01:29:18 PM
Nah, I don't think that it can go to 100x. Not against the project in any way, maybe it can give some profits to early investors, but with that kind of margin? There's a lot of competitors already and then the market is saturated already. Could be some hype, but we all know that hype doesn't last that long, just my honest opinion here. As far as hardware wallet goes,  we already have 2 solid products in the market.
2118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Basketball] Golden State Warriors 2022 NBA CHAMPION campaign discussion on: April 22, 2022, 12:54:54 PM
The Warriors are playing like the Warriors of old.  They got another strong win tonight and it seemed like Steph's minutes were being limited a bit.  Now that they're up 3-0 over the Nuggets, it seems like they should be cruising to some much needed rest for Steph's ankle before the next round.  I'm not sure if they'll win it all, but with Devon Booker out now with his hamstring injury, the path through the West to the Finals is looking like it could be a little easier.  With the Nets losing again, I think there's a pretty good shot we'll be seeing the Bucks and Warriors in the Finals, which I think everyone wants to see if those two teams can stay healthy.

I think they are good if not an improved line up of the past championship Warriors. They have Jordan Poole and then Andrew Wiggins. JTA, GP, Otto Porter, Lee and Bjelica.

Not sure about the Bucks in the East though, Middleton is out for the reminder of the playoffs because of injury. It could be the Heat. Anyhow, yeah, I like the chances of the Warriors this playoff run, they just have to remain healthy and no injuries to their superstars.
2119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 22, 2022, 12:21:42 PM
It was impossible for Jokic to carry his team further and I feel for him as he really grind all year for play-offs just  to see his team kinda become useless.

I was more impressed with Mavs win over Jazz ...like jazz dominated half of the season and suddenly in play-offs they forgot to play as a team , to hit important shots and also their coach should call better time-out for his team. Imagine if Mavs were with Luka on the field ...they would have smashed Jazz even harder. So far , I really enjoy this year of play-offs.

It is really heartbreaking to see Jokic doing everything and then his team still ended up short in their offense. Maybe it is time for Jokic to consider leaving Denver or maybe one more season with a healthy Jamal Murray and see how it goes. That super-max contract extension he is eligible is mouthwatering though. But who knows, these eastern European athletes are more about achievements than business although they are also loyal and content.

Jazz defense always disappoints Gobert. They choked a lot. I am not even sure if they are already in good terms especially on Spida, Clarkson and co. after Gobert frustrations sometimes known in public.

We have a good game tonight, and "we" almost lost that Grizzlies bet, Lol. But the Wolves choked bigtime just like the Jazz here. They both have the lead but lead the other teams catch up with them. I'm seeing that the Jazz team will have a overhaul, because they seems to be very good, but when crunch time, they lost. No Luka but the Mavs manage to win against Mitchell, Gobert, Clarkson Conley and Bogdan?
2120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 22, 2022, 11:46:26 AM
Timberwolves blew up a lead of 20+ points in a matter of minutes. How can this be possible in play-offs ? Simple. It's because Wolves thought that the game was over as soon as they have that lead. What is even worst for them , is the fact that Memphis now is having a great mental boost that will most likely push them to take the next W and the series.

And that is inexperience for you, you thought that the Wolves are done in the 2nd quarter. And they increased their lead in the 3rd and everything was going well with them. Until they found out that the playoffs are very different, the intensity is high. I doubt that they can come back from that kind of lost mentally.  So probably it will be Memphis 4-1 here.
