Unless we can convince Tom to just give away MMQ's to everyone!!
+1. We are just 82 or 83, and FPGAs will go in the dustbin of history when ASICs come out any time from now. I propose that the receivers pay for delivery though.

1) You all want to stick it to the tax man and then run to the law when you all get fucked? Seriously wtf is going on here?
No. I personally am strongly in favor of sorting out matters privately. So in my perspective we should try to find an effective way for that. what do you mean? Are you not anymore in favor of legal charges? I am, but I see that as a second rate choice in terms of chances, efficiency, and speed of a resolution -especially in BTC matters. Moreover, as you see there is always some genius who assumes that recurring to the violent arm of the law is something that you get from the state "for free" (!). Sorry, but nobody ever asked me if I liked to live under a monopoly of violence by someone else, so if that system gives me something, it does not pay even a fraction of my freedom, and anyway I already paid 1000 times for whatever I get from it by direct and indirect taxes.

Next time I'll go up and ask him wtf is he going to do.
I suggest a different approach if you see him again: just point him and scream like in "Invasion of the Body Snatchers". If an high enough number of us will do it, it may be enough to persuade him to clear his mess now. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fencrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com%2Fimages%3Fq%3Dtbn%3AANd9GcR_l__inbSPUETvcMb-QlNucjyGpT9pfRrifmVEBme9ps7s-PnbiA&t=663&c=sFsmFohmQjHswA) Any other ostracism suggestion?

Purtroppo truccato come molti altri giochi/schemi ponzi in BTC).

So if you get brother A, but brother B is gone with the money, what do you do?
Brother A has to work or take out a loan to return the money. In addition he can sue brother B, but that is none of your concern. Problem is that brother B is the only one with your receipt. Without his cooperation you can't prove nada.

The only time I bought BTC it was at 20 USD, and then they crashed to 2 USD. Pray that I don't buy again.

because he wants to keep his money together and dont want to lose money. But thats only a guess of course.
I don't get why keeping hostage users' assets is related to "his" money. Supposing that he's going to ask for a ransom?

Seems to me the feds came knocking at his door, and arrested him for money laundering, and supporting terrorism. Id bail too. He didn't specifically state it, but he made a reference to it about the other exchange having the feds knock on the door and arrest them for money laundering, and supporting terrorism.
The feds... in UK? If he were under "supervision" I don't see why "they" allowed him to send out partial repayments to supposed a-narco-terrorists and tax evaders -unless the mess he made of it was part of "their" evil plan (to achieve what? Panic? Lulz? FUD?). You have to elaborate your conspiracy theory.

I believe that bitcoin is a revolutionary money system for citizens, but i dont believe that can to be used for legal tender
God save us from legal tender, state control, and taxes. BTW: I would not call "modern" the theory that the state can print money. There are lots of historical examples. None of them ended well as far I know, even if in the short them someone made miracles printing state money. Hitler for example.

I expect that when the current debt-based fiat money system collapses (soon), MMTers and other neokeynesian lunatics will have their heyday and will go mainstream. I am sending them my best wishes until they do not try to touch BTC, gold and silver, and free mobility of capital. quote of the day: "intelligent people fear inflation, especially the kind where people cannot afford to buy food, which is the big killer of economies and countries, and then there is usually a war with somebody, and the whole thing is a Big Freaking Bankrupted Mess (BFBM)."
