If you are a newbie, a faucet might help get you introduced to bitcoins. But otherwise, I just think they are a waste of time.

I agree that the senator demanding that Silk Road be taken down defiantly increased the public awareness and adaptation of bitcoin. It also indirectly proved just how safe it is to use bitcoin (and TOR) as it took years and massive amounts of government resources to shut down Silk Road and catch Ross.
Plus, eventually the government got lucky.

I want to start a new signature campaign. Min 100,000 posts/ month. Payment of 1 BTC/post. Can I claim it is the highest paying campaign? Sure, put the coins in escrow make a thread and stop spamming bullshit. Oh wait, you dont have that much? Well if you campaign is not paying at all its not the best paying is it? That was a rhetorical question, to settle somebody's question about which campaign should be considered the highest paying. Obviously, it went over your head. That is why it seemed like spam/bullshit to you.

We just need to get sites like Amazon and other big sites to start accepting Crypto Currency! That will give us a higher price! Merchant adoption usually results in downward pressure during the short term.

But that doesn't make it the best paying signature lol.

I'm saving 50$ each month to try to build one bitcoin but I fear that in some months the value will be too high.
In which case the $50s that you invest will hit the roof. So you would have a sizeable sum, even if you don't have 1 BTC.

I just invested about $2 worth of bitcoin at Cryptostocks.com. I don't really expect anything but at least I can pretend to invest instead of watching your wallet NOT get any transactions ever....
Stick around for some time in this forum, your wallet will witness some action.

Even fixed payouts don't pay better.
Let's say as a full member you earn 0.06 for 100 posts. Here for 100 posts you earn 0.07. Easy as that, who pays better than 0.06 for 100 posts? When it comes to 0.05 for 50 posts, blah-blah-blah, you can only earn 0.05 a month which is a terrible disadvantage.
True. Only if you are not too active, and make ~50 posts/month, then the fixed payouts will be better.

We just re-crossed 600 from the mid 585.
Tighten your seat belt, the bull has returned.
Now again its going under 590$ but best thing its most of time staying in 590$ Seems to be in a narrow range for quite some time now.

So, another entity requiring a Facebook login to get the free Stellers?
Very unhappy with this. I would not, under any circumstances, open a 'Facebook" account. I signed up on the Stellar website but, there doesn't seem to be any way to get the free stellers without the FB account.
Seems quite unfair....
PS: Posted in another thread a well, not sure which on is "official" if any...
Why do you want the Stellars anyway?

so yes ...I think BTC is becoming more stable each day
which is the end objective... a currency which does not get inflated away.

This is a step in the right direction to getting botcoin more noticed however Facebook I believe will try anything to make themselves be the only place on the internet that gets used even if it means allowing transactions to take place so you don't have to go elsewhere. Many people already spend most of their online time on Facebook not venturing anywhere else and if the had a chance there would be no need to venture elsewhere.
Facebook credit might just get renamed as fb-coin.

If you really check how much each members make, it's around 100 or so. Only 20% or so get the Max of 400.
Those who make 100 posts per month wont probably be joining this campaign as there are others paying a better deal for 100 posts per month. Oh really? Do tell which signature campaigns pay more then DiceBitco.in, because I must have missed those (seeing that they aren't in my Signature Overview Topic). He is probably talking about fixed payouts..

You missed the point. Satoshi is not Japanese. I was raining sarcasm.
We will have to wait until he reveals himself.

This would result in Argentinians benefiting, not the government. The government usually has its best interest at heart while taking decisions.

I think It is, you can at least expect for your investment to double up. But you should never invest your money that you can't lose.
That is how I tend to invest into BTC b/c i have less than 10% of my liquid investment assets in BTC; however, there are quite a few BTC investors that have put nearly all of their investment into BTC - and some have gotten very wealthy with such tactics... The money that you plan to spend at a casino in Las Vegas, put that in bitcoin.

Asking India is okay. But, Japan? LOLz! Satoshi Nakamoto's country. Hahahahaha! Sorry! This is hilarious question. At least to me. Ha ha.. Good one. I guess if Satoshi does reveal himself, and tries to promote BTC in Japan, it would be a runaway success.

Risk-free interest? In a bank? Are you kidding?
If you pick a large bank, your deposit is within the limit for federal insurance, I guess you could say it is risk-free.
