How did the order go? When do you think we can expect to receive our orders? Thanks for setting this group buy up Grin

Gridseed is getting the payment monday they have told me that my courrier will receive the miners within 48 hours of receiving the payment. From my courrier to me it should take another 2-3 days with fedex express mail.

Another satisfied customer here!  Purchased a piece from BitArtist in this thread using his escrow service.

Fast, smooth transaction and great communication.  Highly recommended & I hope to work with him again soon.
Thanks was a pleasure you both handled it perfectly!

Used Maidak for escrow on some art I sold. He was quick to respond to my questions. Would use again.

Thank you good luck on your art sales!

I still offer this for FREE all I ask is for some tips for my time if you feel it to be necessary!

Get purchasing! As soon as I hit 100 units I will buy the other 100 to push this group buy along alot faster.
Just a quick update on this I have a few users who are buying large bulk quantities which will surpass the minimum order for these puppies. I will get the site fixed ASAP and order will more then likely be submitted by monday.

The first post shows 120/200. Is the order being placed today (Monday, March 10)?

BTW: How many unites to be considered "bulk".

100+ units is what I would consider a bulk purchase the orders going to be placed between tues-wed unless gridseed replies back within less then 24 hours.
2111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: My altcoin idea *Mobilecoin* ASIC Proof cellphone based cryptocoin Hiring DEVS! on: March 10, 2014, 01:51:32 AM
I have an old Droid running Linux on a loop file. I can run BFG miner from either a TightVNC desktop or from command line Linux. It was used as a wireless proxy server for two BE cubes. I also was trying to compile the BE driver on the Linux loop without success, With a OTG cable you could run a USB erupter had the driver compiled, but no luck. Also I have used many android devices to mine low diff coins. I actually solved a DMD diamond coin block with a Samsung 10.1 tablet w/quad cpu using a litecoin miner for android. With all that said, Android devices could in fact do mini or micro mining with ease. Pool based mining would not involve keeping a blockchain local to the device but causes it to become centralised. But to store and sync a full wallet on a droid with a droid app seems doable in theory especially with a cpu type coin and a hash cap speed to help keep it android based.

Exactly I mined low diff coins myself and i've always thought why not have a coin dedicated to just cellphones? Its a tech almost everyone has the companies that sell them are well established your not buying pre order vaporware from start up companies or purchasing something that has only one purpose. In theory I know this is very well possible and I do believe that it could really take off unlike all the pre-mined and various litecoin clones.

We need something different in crypto-currency world and I think this could very well be it and something I'm willing to invest considerable amount of time and money into. I'm not looking to make this a get rich quick coin but offer a twist to this on-going tech. I'm almost positive that this will be happening with or without me involved only a matter of time.

this is a great idea but you know what might even be better? Not really 'mining' with hardware with the phone, but getting coins for actually doing stuff. Like taking photos of certain colors/patterns, playing certain games/apps etc. That way you could also get apps to sponsor you by implementing rewards and stuff.

See I thought about this to and essentially forking it off of the bitcoin blockchain or something. This is only an idea and of course has plenty of room for suggestions I want to see something different in the altcoin world.

lol i just pictured a room full of smartphones on shelves with cables everywhere

What a retarded vision.

Your completely right that kind of thought is quite retarded but thats not the intentions of it personally I have about 5 or 6 phones laying around that could get plugged in and put to use rather then collect dust and loose value. Again this is an idea i'm looking for suggestions what other people think of the idea and possibly developers to make it happen.

If you made it to my second post just to let you guys know this needs major revising and proper editing to really get my point across.

Here is what I do know right now bitcoin is great potential for startup and is profitable in whatever way you look at it. Bitcoin could also move both ways could increase another 3000% and become what everyone here wants to believe it to be a decentralized currency or bitcoin could be nothing more then a fad so lets tackle it and take advantage of now.

Also to let everyone know on the level of my seriousness I have things that I wont disclose without a NDA and a high level of trust.

I have various online businesses and partners who are bitcoin enthusiasts and have a real passion for e-commerce and need more like minded individuals across the world!

If any of these current businesses & ideas appeal to you and you have something you can bring to the table I'd love to take you along my goal is to gross a 7 figure income by the end of the year and i'd love to have you be apart of it as well. To give you an idea on what I currently do here is a short list.

Bitcoin Arbitrage with exchanges throughout the world.
MMORPG gold sales that service all popular online games. (currently working on a complete re-code of this site)
A bitcoin hardware/exchange shop
Online clothing stores
Ad serving websites
Wine distribution

A brief summary on past I've been self employed and living on my own since I was 17 I did not want to pickup my fathers trade I knew I had far much more potential. My first business was in 2007 after meeting an amazing person who helped me along the way this business was the MMORPG industry during my prime times within this business I've seen $100-500k+ per year gross profit. I picked up alot of amazing connections through china who became great friends along the way. If it wasn't for this particular venture I may of never been introduced into the bitcoin world until much later then 2009. I seen how it functioned and knew that this went hand in hand together.

Now I am not looking for employees who make a wage I am looking for people who have some time throughout the week to work on various projects I currently have and passionate with bitcoin and online commerce. I have a great team throughout the world that I would love to introduce you to.

Heres what I am looking for to see if you fit.

Basic to advanced knowledge in code and the bitcoin protocol
Familiar with online fraud prevention & security
Knowledgeable in online marketing & sales
Not afraid to take a phone call and talk to customers and knows customer service
Has unique million dollar ideas that need to be brought to life and loves to brainstorm
Capable of investing time and money into projects
hardware/software engineers & developers (Knows what to do with ASIC chips)

Above is just some could go on and on so don't think your not meeting any criteria.

All in all I need people who want to turn their lives around and turn their "american" dream into reality. You won't be 'working for the man' when you step on board. You don't even have to focus all your time in my ideas, I'll dedicate my time in helping grow yours as well with  my resources. I do this full-time myself and have made incomes that people my age would never dream of making. If you wonder why I need more people its because some of these ventures are becoming more then I can handle.

I'm not offering a get rich quick ponzi or pyramid scheme. I'm giving opportunists that I can trust who honestly want to take advantage of my various connections and use my online reputation that I have built throughout the years to its fullest advantage!

If you seem interested shoot a PM or email maidak@mmoclub.com no need for a resume if you got one i'd love to check it out however.

Honestly really think on this it has an amazing potential if can be implemented in some way. It would be one of a kind for android and windows phone (not really sure about iphone)

Lets face it bitcoin mining is practically centralized anymore and litecoin/scrypt miners are not to far along either and companies are not selling you hardware that will really ever ROI and return a decent profit.

I can see this being a crypto that could really take off this idea is something one of a kind it doesn't have to be mined via cellphone. Take advantage of micro payment system for various app games. Really take advantage of QR code I dont even need to take credit for it I'd just like to see something like this made a reality.
2117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: My altcoin idea *Mobilecoin* ASIC Proof cellphone based cryptocoin on: March 09, 2014, 09:06:48 PM
Great idea, however overheating and too high level of energy consumption might cause some problems.

I use to mine ltc on my phone could always have some type of throttling set and shit just get a foursquare warranty or take advantage of manufacture warranty. Smiley

If your a dev and think this is an amazing idea for a completely different type of crypto send me a PM i'll gladly pay for your time in helping with something like this.
