2101  Economy / Economics / Re: What you will do if bitcoin price drops to 50$ and you have lots of bitcoin on: October 22, 2015, 02:11:47 PM
Well i don't think that price will drop like this.
It is dramatically and most exchanges will lose a lot.
Or at least will bankrupt and will be closed, basically i will not do anything.
2102  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $300 this month? on: October 22, 2015, 02:10:15 PM
I highly think that bitcoin will reach the price of $300.
It is around 10 days from now but since the price was increased today i think it is possible while these big bitcoin exchangers if they pump the price, it is around $25 from now not much and not less but still makes some money in earnings.
2103  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: October 22, 2015, 02:05:34 PM
I noticed that i earned from my signature campaign.
This is nice when you earn additional money from the forum.
I noticed that the doge price has been decreased too much which i wanted to trade to earn.
2104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have we left $220-240 for good? on: October 22, 2015, 02:04:24 PM
I think yes we have left this price,
It is really going $260 and up and i dont think this year the price will go back to 220
Maybe this month the price can reach $300 but also in the first weeks in November.
2105  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: October 22, 2015, 02:02:59 PM
The price is going to reach $280 again for a long time.
I am really not waiting to reach $100 because it could take to long.
When do you think it will reach this amount it is increasing now.
2106  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: October 22, 2015, 01:59:24 PM
Hello. Does anybody from the card users managed to move funds from Paypal to the card? As far as I know, to withdraw money Paypal demands Visa card to be linked with an actual bank account. Did someone try with the e-coin card?

As far as a i know to verify your paypal account it works.
But to withdraw money i haven't seen anybody.
Maybe you should send a message to their support.
2107  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WTK about Paypal! on: October 16, 2015, 02:54:12 PM

Oh i see , But i hope he pays me first then it'll be much more good for me !

You'd have zero risk then. But I doubt that he would do that, unless he really trusts you.

Does he sell much below market price? If so, that's a big red flag.

ps. Anyone knows are unverified paypal accounts allowed to receive payments and spend balance?

I  dont know but mine is verified account !
well 1$ for like 1$ i m getting !

I meant seller's account. Just wondering what happens when he scams you and spends your money immediately. How will paypal recover the funds? I doubt they'll be very happy to refund you with their own money.

If this happens then the seller's paypal will get negative balance like -$200
So if the seller chooses to use again this paypal account then he should pay this negative balance.
Otherwise there is no chance to get back the money, haven't any experience in this in the past.
2108  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: October 16, 2015, 02:52:18 PM
up until now i dont know if bitcoin can be categorized as currency,,it just commodity without physical like gold..

if bitcoin a currency there there will be a paper bitcoin,,or anything that has physical..

To be a physical coin it should require lots of money to produce.
Because it requires lots of metals and at least 1 country should implement it.
But as a digital currency it is much easier and you can buy almost anything with the bitcoin debit card.
Implementing bitcoins as a form of physical money have a different requirements that should have a particular country there such things that you must consider like bitcoin must be mainstream so that there will no problem that will come.

If bitcoin will be "converted" to physical coin then i think that this is a waste of time.
Waste of power/energy to produce the coin from metals, i think that digital is just fair enough.
The price nowadays is increasing and i think it will took peoples interest about the 'new' coin.
2109  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Have you tried XAPO debit card? on: October 16, 2015, 02:48:37 PM
does the bit-x had feature like XAPO? it'll be interesting if bit-x can be my primary debit card in the future  Cool

Bit-x debit card is issued by the same company (Wave Crest Corporate) and have similar features but the fees are slightly different. You can find more info in their official thread.

These extra fees seems that will go only to the bit-x exchange/company.
I took a look at the e-coin but they are having issues loading the cards.
Personally i think that at the moment xapo seems more reasonable card even though it has some hidden fees.
2110  Economy / Economics / Re: What you will do if bitcoin price drops to 50$ and you have lots of bitcoin on: October 16, 2015, 02:47:12 PM
A lot people will hold their BTC forever.

Or logically, they already convert their BTC first to the other "investment" before the prive drop to 1 BTC = 50 USD

And it's not easy like that to make BTC price drop.

I don't think A LOT of people will hold on to their coins forever. Most people will base it off speculation and once they see people are losing faith, then they will dump their coins immediately.

I think that the most bigger holders are those who joined bitcoin at the first 1-2years.
AS the bitcoin was very cheap by that time, those people can hold 'forever'.
Personally i would not make panic, but i will see how altcoins price will change.
2111  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the safest way to store Bitcoins? on: October 16, 2015, 02:36:48 PM
Is paper wallet considered as a physical wallet?
If no, then you can save it as a digital file as a pdf or as jpg image.
On that page there are all necessary information to receive and spend your bitcoins.

A paper wallet is normally printed on a piece off paper.  Sometimes stuck in physical coins.   Or you can just store in safe place.

But you could print a PDF or other version and store it as a digital file.  You would just have to be careful where you keep it.  I would do a usb stick or two if you choose this route.  I would not store on anything that is online or regular computer.

Well having more that 2-3 backups is more than recommended.
Sorting sensitive data in online platforms like computer, tabler or phones is not good.
As they can be attacked by any virus/getting corrupted or maybe will not work when you need.
2112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Should you stay or should you go? on: October 16, 2015, 02:29:18 PM
i dont think what is the best idea whether to quit from bitcoin world or to stay though i will surely keep my bitcoins and wait for a price increase what will happen in the future i hope

I think that if someone join the bitcoin world will not quit.
At least for me since i have known about bitcoin I enjoy learning about it.
I don;t think that i will quit for a long time maybe or if any big crash happens.

There are no possibility of bitcoin crashing. Bitcoin has survived many years, so we can be confident it's completely bug free. History will repeat. So, bitcoin prices will repeat it's growth and the growth of bitcoin will take it to as a global currency.

Who know that bitcoin will not crash to 100$ for example?
It has survived many years but there is no guarantee that the price will not go down again.
But i think that bitcoin is going good, and many big company will implement to accept payment through bitcoin soon.

Bitcoin may crashes to $100 also. But definitely will not sustain there. When a single attacker wanted to make a low price with his money to be burnt, he can make $100 price in a single exchnage or in multiple exchange but he will eventually fail in a single trading sessions.
The users growth raises rapidly daily. So, the price will follow that very soon.

At this stage when the bitcoin price is ~$262 i don't think that the price will drop.
Neither for this year, i hope it will reach 300 dollars very soon by this trend.
We should stay Smiley something good is happening Tongue

I think that it depends on the country that you registered in.
To spend balance you can't with a unverified paypal account.
But in some cases you can receive but i just heard didn't had any experience.
2114  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: good places to hide paper wallet ? on: October 16, 2015, 01:51:11 PM
stick a piece of paper in your wall

This is actually not a horrible idea.   I cannot remember the spy movie but they did this.  What they did was had a vent or something that allowed a straight drop of item and used magnets.

So say you stored your paper storage in the wall with a magnet on it.  You use a string with another magnet on it and you can "fish" it out when needed.  Only problem is fire etc that destroy it.

Safe's do not have the fire issue assuming nice safe.

Isolate it with good metal, then covering that with aluminum that the fire does not destroy etc.
Since you have access to the wall that would not be problem even if someone will start destroying your house.
Another place to hide the paper wallet i would consider blank pipes(10cm extension) in your water installation huh?

Covering it with aluminium would not change anything, the heat will still be transferred to the paper and thus all that will be left is dust. You could print the key with metal or some such, but the best thing to do is definitively have several backups.

I don't know how is it called in english but firefighters use them.
It is against fire and it can protect the paper too from the fire.
Having several backups is the best idea for everything not just for the paper wallet but also for sensitive files/data, another idea?

There's flame retardant and you can stack them together in a hard enclosure, common in flame retardants safe. But they only give you time, meaning if you do not extinguish the fire quick enough, the content will still burn.

Instead imagine a steel QR cube. It could be grabbed easily with magnets too!

I mean the material that firefighters wears, it's something aluminum.
So that can protect the paper wallet from the fire.
But it is recommended to have more than 2-3 backups so this is not enough.
2115  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to make a living online? on: October 16, 2015, 01:47:49 PM
I was thinking today that making a good living online could be owning an exchange.
There is 0.2% fee everytime someone buy or sell something (bitcoin or any other altcoin)
This could bring lots of money and a good profit for a long time.
Yes but it also requires good amount of investment to run, maintain and promote it.I think the best way to earn money online without any investment is writing a blog.If you do a right SEO you will soon get visitors to your blog and then you can earn from ads or affiliate program.

Wherever you go you have to invest in something,
Owning an exchange the starting is hard then the promotion will be on the clients hand.
As you know most people ask where to exchange this and that and here is the advertisement.
2116  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WTK about Paypal! on: October 16, 2015, 01:43:28 PM
You really mixed what you wanted to say.
If you are the seller you are in the "danger zone".
Because the buyer can make a chargeback request even after few weeks.
About the escrow you can use but in this case it's a bit complicated because of chargeback.

but i think much more safer ? because i'm the one who is giving paypal and getting bitcoins...bitcoins can't be chargedback !
Also as i mentioned the User is not on the forum ! Just edited my post !

If you are the buyer then you are in the "safe zone"
The seller can't chargeback you as bitcoin doesn't work like paypal.
Everything is good just take care when you deal especially if you have to send first, maybe contact an escrow.

2120  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will the price of BTC be at the end of 2015? on: October 11, 2015, 11:01:58 PM
Today the bitcoin price had a jump of $2+.
It seems pretty good, and i think that at the end of 2015 it will reach ~300 USD.
So $200 - $300 from the poll list. About 300-400 i hope it will happen in late July.
