2101  Economy / Economics / Re: Evergrande: China property giant misses debt deadline on: March 22, 2022, 06:53:33 AM
China had embraced casino capitalism decades ago and this is what you get, when you embrace casino capitalism-a ticking "debt bomb" and multiple price bubbles across multiple sectors of the economy.
It's weird that the Chinese communists refuse to go with government intervention and stick with the more libertarian "laissez-faire" perception of the economy.
I guess that the Chinese communists are more libertarian than the US republicans back in 2008,who nationalized multiple US banks and corporations. Grin
Perhaps China is heading towards it's first major financial and economic crisis.
Some economists say that a crisis is actually good for the economy and a country's economy can't keep growing forever, without any interruptions.
2102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honduras to declare Bitcoin as a legal tender? on: March 22, 2022, 05:56:49 AM
This might be fake news, but even if it's true, then so what?
Another small underdeveloped country accepting Bitcoin as a legal tender. Is this a reason for the Bitcoin community to celebrate? It's not like the USA or China adopted Bitcoin as legal tender. Grin
I'm not saying that it's necessarily bad, that small underdeveloped countries are more Bitcoin-friendly than the big developed countries.Maybe the so called "third world" will be the main place, where Bitcoin/blockchain technology will thrive in the next few decades.Who knows?
The problem is that many underdeveloped countries can't afford cheap electricity,so that more crypto miners will move their business there.
2103  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Have I been scammed - legalminner.com?? Is it real on: March 21, 2022, 12:34:37 PM
Cloud mining is a well known crypto scam method for years.
By "cloud mining",I mean all the "companies",that are asking you to invest money in them,so they could "mine" cryptocurrencies for you. This is one of the oldest crypto scams.
If a company asks you to pay a fee,in order to release funds and withdraw money, this is definitely a scam.
Multiple email spam folders are full with "Pay $100,so we could unblock your $10,000 award" type of scam emails.
This is one of the oldest scam methods on the internet.Even the "Nigerian prince" method has something to do with this scam.
Just like other forum members have mentioned, the only thing you could do is to report the domain on Namecheap. You could try to contact the police or hire a company, that could track down the BTC transactions(if the scammer isn't using a BTC mixer),but I don't think that you could get back your money.
2104  Other / Archival / Re: What is holding back the price of bitcoin now? on: March 21, 2022, 12:04:02 PM
It seems that the stars are aligned for a Bitcoin price pump, but there's isn't any event, that could cause the beginning of a FOMO wave.Such event would be another Bitcoin ETF or maybe some major corporation adopting Bitcoin(just like Tesla,Paypal,Microstrategy,etc.).
A FOMO wave is a situation,in which the BTC sellers stop selling their Bitcoins and start buying and the BTC buyers start buying even more BTC.There is a "snowball" effect in this process, but there's no event, that can trigger this "snowball" effect right now.Greed should dominate over fear in the "Fear vs.Greed" index, which isn't happening right now.
The global inflation and the war in Ukraine created some kind of uncertainty and many traders are still afraid to take risks.
2105  Economy / Economics / Re: Ukraine VS Russia. Ideological or Economical conflict? on: March 21, 2022, 06:43:19 AM
"Ideological" is not the right term. This isn't some "communism vs.capitalism" or "nazism vs.communism" type of conflict. There aren't any ideologies being preached by both sides.
The conflict is geopolitical, not ideological.Geopolitics and economy are deeply linked together,so there's no choosing between two options. The conflict is BOTH geopolitical and economical.
I didn't know that there any gas reserves in Crimea.I don't think that Crimea is the main reason for the conflict.
You are forgetting about eastern Ukraine.
The gas transit isn't a reason for the war, because Russia has Northern Stream and Turkish stream,so the Russian gas can reach Europe without going thru Ukraine.
The main reasons for the conflict are these:
1.Putin wants more territories.
2.Putin wants to put Ukraine under his control in one way or another. The possibilities of USA deploying nuclear weapons in Ukraine or Ukraine joining NATO are just a silly excuse for Putin to attack Ukraine.
2106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: March 21, 2022, 06:17:31 AM
This is the El Clasico. You underestimate your opponent for a minute and you are getting severely punished.
Real Madrid defensive players had a bad day.
Barcelona is getting out of the crisis, but I'm sure that Real Madrid can still win La Liga.
It seems that Real is getting more dependent on Benzema, which is weird, because they have so many world class players.Bale and Hazard will have to be sold and Real needs to buy Lewandowksi,Haaland or Mbape.
Benzema is 34 years old.He was definitely missing yesterday and he cannot maintain his top level performance forever. The same thing applies to Luka Modrich.

2107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Assumptions of People who don't know about bitcoin... Ki on: March 21, 2022, 05:56:28 AM
Quote
But in reality btc is needle that is bursting fiat bubbles.

I don't agree with that statement.
Bitcoin isn't bursting any fiat bubbles anywhere. The BTC market is just too small to have any significant impact over the bigger financial markets, like stocks, commodities,FOREX and real estate.
Bitcoin isn't interrupting the growth of fiat bubbles.Actually the fiat money printing helps for pumping the Bitcoin/crypto bubble.Basically every financial market(including the crypto market) creates and bursts price bubbles.
Anyway,I kinda agree with your view about the people, who mildly understand BTC(or don't understand it at all).I'm sure that the vast majority of the people will always be ignorant in regards to Bitcoin/blockchain technology and this will never change.
2108  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN will rise on: March 20, 2022, 12:01:22 PM
This graphic only shows us that less traders/investors will keep their coins in the centralized custodial exchanges. This is a good signal, but it doesn't necessarily mean that the Bitcoin price(and altcoin prices) will hit the moon.
It means that the centralized exchanges are slowly becoming obsolete,in terms of supporting the global cryptocurrency adoption.More cryptocurrency users will keep their coins in their cold wallets, which is the core principle of cryptocurrencies."not your keys, not your coins"
Anyway, like other forum members have said-The price can't grow without growth of the demand.
We don't see any kind of growth in the demand for BTC/altcoins.Maybe it's too early to expect such growth.
2109  Economy / Economics / Re: Nowdays how to get wealthy secret on: March 20, 2022, 11:31:11 AM
Damn,I guess that you must be a billionaire with all that precious knowledge you have. Grin
Why don't you create an ebook or online course filled with this groundbreaking wisdom and sell it for millions?
I also wonder why would a smart billionaire like you waste your time by spamming the forum?
Maybe you just want to share your "million dollar advise" with the poor forum members for free?
Did you graduated the "Tai Lopez school of success"? Grin
Yeah,it's time to sell BTC,oil, stocks and real estate and get some devalued fiat money. That's a great plan.
I will definitely start selling tomorrow. Grin

2110  Economy / Economics / Re: Australian banned exports of alumina on: March 20, 2022, 06:51:46 AM
Aluminum is not the most "critical export" for Russia.
The Russians are exporting oil,natural gas,grain,precious metals,weapons,etc.
I'm sure that the Russians won't mind reducing their aluminum export. The biggest problem for the Russians is actually the import. How would they replace the goods, services and technologies that were imported from the west?Buying goods and technologies from China and other Asian countries is a possible option.
Another big problem for Russia would be the EU refusing to buy Russian oil and gas,but this is highly unlikely to happen right now.

2111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your opinions about simulated reality games? on: March 20, 2022, 06:27:12 AM
I think that the right name would be "simulated reality league" games,or SRL.I don't know where did you get that SRI abbreviation.
Long story short,I don't trust them and I never will.
I assume that those SRL games are using artificial intelligence and machine learning(according to the Google search results),but I still don't trust them and I would never bet any money on such games.
There's no point to bet money on simulated reality games, when you have an abundance of real games/events to bet on.I wonder what kind of gamblers would bet money on simulated games.Even the gambling addicts would most likely stay away from SRL games. They might be addicted to gambling, but they aren't stupid.
2112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Scams now the second largest in the world on: March 20, 2022, 06:07:28 AM
The people, who buy shitcoins and NFTs get what they deserve....nothing.
When you buy a bunch of crap with the expectation of this bunch of crap to become 10000% more valuable after a while, you get what you deserve.I can't feel sorry for the people, who are buying shitcoins.
Most of them know what they are buying, but they get into the ponzi scheme with the expectation, that another fool will appear and buy the same crap at a higher price.
The nastier scams are those,in which the people are being deceived for real.Like the call center scams located in India and Bangladesh, where the scammers pretend to be customer support for big corporations,so they get access to the bank accounts of old people in the USA.
2113  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAMMER FROM BULGARIA BURGAS AKA PLAMEN NENOV on: March 18, 2022, 11:58:21 AM

Right now you're just spamming this section because you are not providing us with anything like the name of the miner, name of the company or individual, and screenshots of conversations or email communication, posting like this will not give us anything you have to provide us something that will prove your allegation, it's unfair for the people of Bulgaria if you cannot prove your allegation.

The people of Bulgaria have nothing to do with this.
Scammers can be found anywhere around the world. The nationality of the scammer doesn't matter.
I serial scammer would never reveal his real name and his actual location. This scammer is either an amateur scammer or maybe he's using a different name.
OP,perhaps you could just find a way to contact the Bulgarian police.I'm sure that they could track and find this Plamen Nenov from Burgas(if those are his real name and location).
Posting a scam accusation in this forum most likely won't solve your problem.
2114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: new opening of Bitcoin monetary era on: March 18, 2022, 11:39:46 AM
This topic belongs to the Altcoin discussion forum, despite the fact, that Bitcoin is being mentioned.
The idea of creating an stablecoin, which going to be backed by a mixture of USD and BTC(and maybe other fiat currencies, cryptocurrencies and assets) seems interesting.
I wonder how will the Terra developers get a 10 billion dollar funding. They will have to promise a ROI to the potential investors. How can a stablecoin become profitable and make money?
The whole purpose of a stablecoin is to have a stable price and little to none price volatility.
I guess that the Terra reserve, which will be used to backup the stablecoin, would most likely be the only source for redistribution of dividends to the investors.
2115  Economy / Economics / Re: What skills should I learn to get freelance work ..?? on: March 18, 2022, 05:53:50 AM
The most lucrative skills are the hardest to learn.
Programming and webdesign are way harder than article writing, but they are more lucrative.
You don't just have to learn a skill. You have to become really good at that skill, because the competition is furious and no buyer would want to hire a rookie programmer, instead of an experienced programmer.
If you ask me,freelance is a rat race and only the best and hardest working will survive the competition.
Another problem with freelance is having to find good customers. Most customers would want you to do more work for less money, which is unacceptable for me.You have to know your worth and you have to know how to "sell" your skills at the highest price possible.
2116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: March 18, 2022, 05:34:25 AM
I think that Barcelona,Atalanta and Leipzig have the best chance of winning the tournament.
Of course that Barcelona stands out from the rest of the teams, but I wouldn't underestimate Atalanta or Leipzig.Somehow Xavi managed to lift the spirits and inspire the players. The arrival of Aubamejang was a great deal for Barcelona.I really hope that they will keep Ousmane Dembele after the end of the season(I guess that they will have to convince Dembele to lower his paycheck and stay for another year or two).
The rest of the teams won't stand a chance against those three teams.
2117  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blockchain Casinos - Consumer's Choice! on: March 17, 2022, 06:28:52 AM
1.What do you mean by "blockchain casinos"?Do you mean crypto casinos?I've never heard the term "blockchain casino" before.
2.Some great crypto casinos are missing from your list. How do you expect to do a good and honest voting contest, since many good crypto casinos aren't included in your list?
3.This forum isn't the right place to do such voting contests, since most of the forum members are participating in signature campaigns, which are run by crypto casinos,so most of the forum members will have biased opinions.
4.Maybe you should ask people, who have tried those casinos before.I'm sure that many people, who don't have accounts in the casinos would probably vote.

If you really plan to launch such voting contest, perhaps the best place to do this is your own website.

2118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine passed law to Legalize Bitcoin what does it mean for Bitcoin? on: March 17, 2022, 06:08:05 AM
This doesn't mean anything for Bitcoin.Ukraine is in ruins.Do you think that the majority of the Ukrainians have access to the internet right now?Their main concern for them is how to survive, not where to invest their savings.
Many merchants in Ukraine aren't working right now(because of the war).Do you think that they will adopt Bitcoin/crypto?I don't think so.
This is positive news, there might be a short term positive impact over the BTC price, but the impact will be gone after a few days.
We have to focus on the situation in Ukraine and how to help those people.Focusing on the BTC price in times of war seems kinda selfish.

Therefore, if the demand for these currencies increases, the 10 trillion barrier that was for gold will be small for Bitcoin, especially if it succeeds in Earn confidence as a non-sanctionable reserve currency.

Let's be more realistic here and forget about some fantasies.
1.Bitcoin will never become a global reserve currency.A global reserve currency is always backed by military force.
First,it was the British pound, when the British empire dominated the world.USA took over the place as the global superpower and the US dollar is the global reserve currency.Bitcoin isn't supported by any global superpower and it never will be.
2.Bitcoin is NOT "non-sanctionable".Bitcoin trading and mining can be banned by any country in the world(or by all big countries altogether). I know that a part of the miners and Bitcoin users will survive such ban,but the BTC price would most likely go back to the 2010-2012 levels of a few dollars per BTC.
2120  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is a game of quantity on: March 16, 2022, 11:41:06 AM
Unlike other general asset that depends on quality to quantify it's value, bitcoin makes more sense based on how many btc you have not just how much of it.

What are you trying to say? This doesn't make any sense. What's the difference between how many and how much?
I get what you are saying about general assets needing quality,in order to guarantee their high value.
Stocks, that are issued by good and profitable companies get a higher value.Gold that has 24 karats is way more valuable than gold with lower karats, because it's purified.
I guess that you are trying to say that Bitcoin is different and more special than the traditional financial assets, which isn't the case.At the end of the day, most Bitcoin traders/investors are buying/selling BTC in order to get more fiat profits, not to acquire more Bitcoins.
