2101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: July 21, 2017, 09:54:56 AM
A good gambler always set limits before starting a session. I for example a sport bettor I set a weekly bankroll and stay very religious to it. I don't do any stupid move because of anger of losing 2-3 bets in a row, that is what it destroys you. I am patient and confident that I will recover easily this money by  following my plan. I never bet more than 15% for a bet. I play 7 games a week, 6 with 15% of bankroll and the last one with 10%. Sometimes when I lose 2 times in a row for example, the third bet I martingale it to all in, in the sense that after I lose 30% from first to bets I add 70% of the bankroll to the final bet.
2102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it worth using bitcoins anymore for gambling ? on: July 21, 2017, 09:10:10 AM
I think bitcoin is perfect for gambling. You keep your bankroll in bitcoin and think of it as bitcoin and not as dollars. Whatever happens to the FIAT value of bitcoin it won't affect you because you will have your bankroll in bitcoin. I never gamble with FIAT as that sucks and you have a lot of documents to fill up in order for your withdrawal to get approved. Even for poker bitcoin is perfect, you just have to stop thinking of bitcoin FIAT value changing almost everyday.

2104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social aspect of gambling - do you ever gamble with a friend? on: July 20, 2017, 02:23:19 PM
I have found many friends in offline casinos when I used to play slots. I cannot call them true friends because I only was hanging around with them when we were playing at the same casino and were playing slots near to each other. We kept socializing and discussing different aspects of gambling, we talked about sport betting too and exchanged different strategies but that's it. Once I left the casino, I don't know what happens to him nor he does what happens with me and my life.

2106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling percentage of the crypto-economy? on: July 19, 2017, 07:47:07 AM
Gambling percentage on the crypto economy has been on the raising side from a long time now. It is one of the most solid foundation to bitcoin, one of its main uses (of course it has many more main uses) but this is becoming fast one of the most appealing way to use bitcoin. It is super fast , no registration, no real life details. I think this business will continue to grow, in fact many FIAT casinos are really considering bitcoin to add as a form of payment (don't know if they will ask for KYC documents but its a good thing if they add it). It is a great percentage which I think will continue to grow corresponding to a growing user base who use bitcoin as a form of payment.
2107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make sure you don't lose money on: July 19, 2017, 06:31:50 AM
The only way to make sure you don't lose money is if you don't play at all. If you start playing get ready to expect even the worst outcome in betting. That is what gambling is all about, that's why its called gambling, a gamble, you never know the outcome, you just try. If you are asking how to not lose money while playing, you must know when to stop, set your bankroll limits and goals and stay strict to that plan. No other way to not lose money as far as I know.

After an unexpected loss yesterday , last place beating one of the top runners 4-0 today I will go for the Champions

CHAMPIONS QUALIFIERS
ALASHKERT VS BATE BORISOV----BATE WINS

Seriously Bate is playing shit, and aren't even kicking on target, the Alashkert  even scored a Goal i dont think it is a safe match now. The Bate are worse today as their major goal scorer is missing.

Bate playing shit but they have much more experience in Champions and in the end this paid off. Moving on to next tip for today. Difficult games to choose from, I would play Rosenborg but why not play an Asian handicap in some shady game tonight also in Champions.

Trump is truly an outcast. Since he took place in the White House I hope you have been keeping track of how the economy of the US is going, full speed down. This is thanks to Trump politics. Surely the opponents of Trump are shaking hands now, especially after his own son put some emails up for grab for everyone where in these emails were clearly noticed that Trump had welcomed the help from Russia for his presidential campaign. No wonder why China-Russia trade has surged a lot at more than 20%.
2110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: July 18, 2017, 07:18:27 AM
Yes i agree greedness is one of reason why we keep coming back play gambling games and the other reason, because many people have got addiction in gambling games, but the big problem almost all of them, they don't know have been addiction in play gambling and they are lost control, that is why although just play gambling we must have management of money and risk, at least we must stop playing if our capital on gambling were gone.
You are right alomost all of the gamblers are addicted to it, May be the amount can vary but when a match is there they cant quit to bet and they will place a bet and say you i am controlled man as i have only 0.01 at the stake..but is it right  Shocked Shocked Shocked
This is just a common behavior among gamblers which they would really set their own bet since they do somehow know that they would able to win. There are really some instances that we do feel of being lucky on that particular bet and once those feelings or emotions come out 80% of us will surely make a bet but not at for some because they can able to control themselves specially when they are already on the losing side.

Even when you learn when to control emotions , still you think to yourself in sport betting that today are some really good matches and this is a great opportunity to recover my losses. Today is such a day where Champions game should be easily predictable on paper, but we will see that in reality they may not get the end result as we thought and placed our bets. There is just that spark that tells you come play one last time as you will win today. This is common in gamblers behavior.

I believe Ledger Nano S works too right ?

Yes it does as you have full control over your private keys there. If you want you can also try Bitcoin Core and Armory, they need the full blockchain so they are somewhat hard to manipulate considering that your PC is clean of infections at the time you install either of them.
2113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League pool betting | Current pot: £360 - £20 buy-in on: July 17, 2017, 07:16:14 AM
Buy in at August 1 is fine by me too but what about if it happens a split, a hard fork which is a massive disruption to the bitcoin network. I think it is better if you start accepting Buy ins at 29 July so we are all risk free from possible disruptions of the network. I don't believe any split will happen but just to be sure.
2114  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice please on what to do with my coin on: July 17, 2017, 06:42:24 AM
If you say you have invested then there is no good reason to sell now with a heavy loss like 20%. Bitcoin will recover right after a few days after August 1 when everything will be settled. Many countries are trying to legalize bitcoin like India being the latest after Japan and Australia. In the long run the price of bitcoin should go up significantly so I suggest to you to keep your bitcoins and wait calmly until the price goes up.
2115  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Another opportunity to buy Bitcoin at Cheap price on: July 17, 2017, 06:17:51 AM
I wish to believe that nothing serious will happen on August 1 and probably won't but seeing a big news link in the official website of bitcoin at www.bitcoin.org worries me a bit. They are giving out guides at what to do in case the split or hard fork happens in August 1. I think everyone needs to be prepared as better to be safe than sorry, remove all your coins from any exchange you maybe keeping them and transfer them to a wallet where you are in full posses of the private keys.

Normally moderators should ban people who do  postings like yours which is called necromancing. The post you quoted is 1 year old, and my tips have been free from a lot of time, and even at that time my customers got their money back in a loss or a free tip.

Getting back to the tip of the day. Lesson learned yesterday , never place a bet on low league divisions.

2118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what I need to do to keep my btc safe before fork ! on: July 15, 2017, 01:33:34 PM
hello , im worried about the split and i dont know the best way to keep my btc safe until split happened !

now i am using trezor , is it good way and safe to preparing for the split or should i withdrawal them from trezor ?

anyone can help us coz we really dont understand what is the best way to stay safe !

You don't need to do much except to keep your coins in your trezor. Do not make any transactions during the time the fork will happen (if it will happen). Trezor and many other hardware vendors together with few desktop wallets have promised support for both chains, of course the most supported chain will be the longest one with the biggest proof of work. Just don't send your coins to web wallets or exchanges as you cannot be sure that they will be prepared if a hard fork really happens.

is trezor safe ? because i heard some people said trezor not safe and all other hardware wallets , they say move your coins to bitcoin core wallet , i dont know exactly what am gonna do :/

I have my bitcoins in my ledger hardware wallet most of them, I also have a few in Electrum which is almost the same as Bitcoin core wallet in functionality except you don't have to download the full blockchain with Electrum cause it is a SPV wallet (lightweight). I think no problems will happen if you keep your money in Trezor but if you like you can send them to bitcoin core or Electrum but I don't see any reason for doing so.

2120  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The problem of cemeteries and until where the cemeteries will be sustained? on: July 15, 2017, 11:33:31 AM
This problem can be easily solved. In Italy we use to lock the people up in coffins and put them in walls created specifically for the dead. However many other countries have a found a much better way, they create a big park within a few miles from the city with trees and grass where they bury their loved ones. I agree with this kind of burial as one may need the urge to go and see their loved one which has passed away, just to pass a few moments there. US has chosen this way of burying people.
