2101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Here is why Cryptocurrency future in India is in danger on: September 08, 2019, 07:03:47 AM
the situation is quite similar to other countries in Asia, they do not know how to control the use of cryptocurrency. You know people, they would be scared of what they cannot control.

What do you mean by control the use of cryptocurrency?

No one can control cryptos since it is decentralized, everyone can use cryptos but obviously, there are a lot of people that don't really like to use new things since they are inclined to the old things they are using.

The one that is scared to something they can't control is the government and not the people.
2102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still excited when there is news about the real Satoshi coming up on: September 08, 2019, 05:17:24 AM
I think everyone is wanting to know who Satoshi Nakamoto really is.

The thing though is that with a lot of people claiming they are Him, the excitement goes down.

Either way, I think we don't need to know him or meet him since let's just be thankful he created a technology and a currency that now a lot of people are getting for profit.
2103  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: September 08, 2019, 04:03:15 AM
I don't think so, that crypto can replace fiat because the original currency is fiat and many people used fiat ever since that's why it's difficult to happen.

But the world is changing, the time is passing by so fast and technologies are being developed every day.

We don't know what might happen, all we know is that it will not stop, it will continue to flourish and all we can say is that it will not replace crypto, for now.

Maybe in the next years we are already seeing news or hearing rumors about it happenning.
2104  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: September 08, 2019, 03:14:05 AM
Now a days many of ico and bounty organisers demand kyc for for know about their participants, generally this type of personal documents they can use for anything or crime! i think it’s rovide you threat over your personal Securities if they use it for criminal activities like terrorism.

Not just these icos and bounty orfganizers demand it, there are a lot of them.

They have their reasons, security and also to abusing users that spam accounts to earn more.

Its been a long time since this is presented to the users and investors but I did not heard or read anything about it being used in such illegal activities. I guess this really depends on the site you will be accessing.
2105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If You Win Big Will You Remember Your Losses on: September 08, 2019, 01:38:03 AM
This is the typical scenarios for most of the gamblers when they win.

They erased mostly the memories of being lost, like a slate being cleaned after winning. You are a filipino, I think so maybe you know the "balato", right?

Balato is when you win and people you know or lost ask for some consolation to you, might used the wrong word, I don't know. Most of the Filipino gamblers will say, "Talo pa nga ako ehh", meaning he still lost despite the win.

There are two reasons why they say this, first is because they don't want to give money to that certain person and the second one is that they are aware of their losses in the past that they just use as an excuse since they don't really wanna give money to other people. Even though they know they lost in the past, winning that time resets the losses in their minds and keep on gambling.
2106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Own Version Of Martingale Your Opinion on: September 08, 2019, 12:34:57 AM
I thimk we have our own variations but I think it is still the classic martingale.

To be honest I am doing the same bets since I am not using my own money but I do love to get some free Satoshis on the site's faucet and use that to gamble using this strategy. Sometimes I won but most of time, I lose that is fine though but I am wasting a lot of time doing that but it is fun.
2107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many times have you gone against majority on: September 07, 2019, 12:19:02 PM
I did this but not money.

I am addicted to online games at that time, specifically Dota2 and some RPG I can't remember. DotaLounge became a hit and one day, Dendi, a popular Dota2 player was on the headline going against the odds betting expensive hooks and lost, now I don't know if that is true but I followed him and I won. The difference is that I won and my item I bet is not that expensive but that is great since I got my first Legendary Item.
2108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not ignore the small profits in Bitcoin investments. on: September 07, 2019, 11:23:11 AM
Big or small profit is still consider a profit. Before I experience really a no progress in trading even in holding, those times that the market down and I almost give up, but I realize that it's much better to continue trading and having BTC since the potential is always there. It's still have chance to gain in the future.

If you give up, that is the time that you lose, that is what my teacher usually said to me.

I do have some small progress in the past when I just started investing and just waiting for a time to sell it and then go back when it falls down, but I grew bored so I started to invest in small cryptocurrencies but I failed. I did not give up, just like you I continue and I am still not a millionaire but I do appreciate those small profits that I am getting since that is an indicator that I learned something from the mistakes of the past that I made. That just fuels me more to do this, you should all appreciate the small things that happen to you.
2109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling destitute on: September 07, 2019, 10:32:12 AM
But you can't do gambling without games. Am I right? So basically gambling exists because there are games to stake our money with.

Maybe what he meant was playing games but without betting any money.

But I agree that the reason why there are gamblers, that there are money bets is because there are games to bet on. Though not all of the bets happening are games, it is just the popular one.
2110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport Has Many Gambling Supporters (State Your Opinion) on: September 07, 2019, 09:47:53 AM
The sport that has a lot of gambling supporters are already stated so maybe I can tell in our country what that is.

Basketball and boxing are one of the most popular sports in our country, boxing since one of the most popular boxer in the world is our countrymen, Manny Pacquiao and since that is the most popular, that is also the sport with a lot of gambling supporters in our country.
2111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cheaters . who caused the cryptocurrency to go down on: September 07, 2019, 07:57:52 AM
I am more curious how did you saw that person creating a lot of accounts, I mean, did he call you and show that he's doing those accounts and scamming people?

By the way, this is a decentralized community, it is hard to track people and that is why they can create multiple accounts and scam people. That is the reason we need to be more knowledgeable since if we investors can identify a legitimate project from illegitimate project, scammers will stop doing what they are doing. Another thing is that not all of these projects are planned well that is why despite garnering a lot of investors, their project still failed.
2112  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading on: September 07, 2019, 06:37:54 AM
You can find a lot of tips from the Trading Discussion.

Also, there are a lot of things you can find as long as you can surf online. Tips and pointers from a lot of professionals out there. You can also read books since that is the most trusted source of information, not the internet.
2113  Economy / Economics / Re: The Risks and Rewards of Cryptocurrencies on: September 07, 2019, 05:58:59 AM
In every Bussiness have loss and profit, cryptocurrencies do not differ from it so I think if you take proper education about cryptocurrencies then you enter in cryptocurrencies and get great success  Shocked

Despite the fact that you are educated, there still lies a risk.

Who can predict the exact price of Bitcoin after years? Who can tell what will happen in the next 6 months? Are we still getting profit after 3 months? How about 1 and a half? A week maybe? We can't tell that, that is why despite the knowledge you have, you can still lose but obviously you know what to do to lessen that losses and get back the next time.
2114  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bad time to get into daytrading? on: September 07, 2019, 05:14:23 AM
It is not that it is bad to start here, it is just hard to do that here.

We are dealing with so volatile cryptocurrencies, it changes so quickly that is the reason it is hard to keep up especially if you have a lot of coins to look out for. I guess make some limits when will you stop and when will you start again but don't stop looking at those movements, those indicators thar might give you a profit.
2115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling destitute on: September 01, 2019, 10:32:59 AM
This is why gambling should be played with moderation. Most of gambling addicts find it difficult to exit addiction in gambling; perhaps due to their personal issues and problem thus we can't judge them if they only find the fun in gambling but we should still stop them as long as we can so that it won't be too late for change.

Because stopping is harder than you think.

Addiction is not a joke, it is so hard to be addicted to something since people can see that you are addicted but you yourself can't actually tell that you are addicted. Even if you want to stop gambling, there is this urge that doesn't stop unless you gamble again. I am addicted in the past but not in gambling but in online games that is why I know it is hard. How hard? I asked for help when I am addicted to online games, years later I still can't stop playing but these days I can stop playing in a day for just an hour of gameplay unlike in the past that it is uncontrollable.
2116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: September 01, 2019, 09:24:08 AM
For me, yes hard working counts in gambling because you can't only trust in luck some game in gambling needs strategy and skills so that you can win easily or you have a considerable percentage to win/overcome your other opponents. Experience is very significant in gambling, especially if you are playing some poker because you can master your bluffing skills, card counting, and many more. Smiley

Experience is much required with gambling. To gain this experience one needs to loss big. Very few get to be lucky with gambling. From my understanding hard work with gambling gets good results when it is done with sports betting, which means data gathering about the players and all about the game will help in picking the right odds. With casinos I don't find hard work pays.
Agree with you all kind of eating needs knowledge and to get this knowledge you will have to work hard it takes researchers and history reading ability you will need to collect as much as information completely collect about the game as it is not good to jump in gambling without any idea an knowledge pre planned gambling gets success at the end.

I also agree that gambling is not only about luck, hard work in many ways also affects the final outcome of gambling, especially in games that are not pure on luck for the result, of course other factors also play a role. but I admit that work hard doesn't have a big effect, maybe only around 1-30% of the possible profit

1-30% is still a huge possibility, we are talking about gambling here.

Despite the fact that there are games that don't usually depend on luck, still, hard work is not enough. Hard work counts on jobs, on your career but in terms of gambling that is mostly depends on luck, it is a no.
2117  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Tricks For Newbies on: September 01, 2019, 08:49:29 AM
I don't think that there'is secrets how you can become successful trader. Follow the trading signals, don't trust unverified sources in order to not get into pump&dump scheme and do your market reserach. Also don't forget to use stop loss method.

Another thing to be considered is the volatility of the cryptos.

If you are a trader, better look out for the sudden price changes since if you do not know about that and you just dive head first, you will regret that and you might even blame Bitcoin for that. Also, not because it is volatile means it has a higher possibility of earning quickly, it dont work like that. It has its risks and if you are not ready to take risks, better not invest or trade.
2118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be legally accepted in every country in the next 10 years? on: September 01, 2019, 03:04:31 AM
What does "legally accepted" mean. Things don't need to be made legal. lol

Its use will increase more and more as time passes and I believe with payment methods that support crypto along fiats things will get better and maybe fiat users will become curious.

There is coinpayments too which works great and allows multiple currencies. The easier it becomes to spend crypto the better.

I also think it don't need to be legalized.

If the government did not legalized these cryptocurrencies, that means they do not care about it and the people in their country using it. Government has nothing to do with the scams that will happen with them, they are not protected by the government. I think before cryptocurrencies, mobile payments will be the first one to popularize.
2119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Crypto-Stealing Ransomware Targets Fortnite Players on: September 01, 2019, 02:03:55 AM
As far as I know this is the first one.

There are a lot of this malwares in the past and I think gamers should really be careful. I remembered one Twitch streamer getting hacked but it is not connected to these but it is a flaw of an application they are using. We should be really careful with the applications we are using.
2120  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain Replace Banks? on: September 01, 2019, 01:10:50 AM
Perhaps OP intended to ask if Cryptocurrency can replace Banks. Blockchain is a wide technology which can be adopted by apparently every sector of life which include the Banks. And with the increasing growth of the Blockchain and cryptocurrency, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Banks integrating cryptocurrency services into their operations some years to come.

Blockchain is a technology, and there is no way that it will be replacing banks instead banks can use blockchain to improve their services to people and its country.

Banks has a lot of things to do when it comes to a country and that is enough reason why Blockhain will never replace it. Another thing is that government will not be in the side of the Blockchain here, banks also helps the banks.
