2101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Cardano really reach 20$+ near end of year? on: May 14, 2021, 08:22:22 AM
Market cap and volume. That's why it has the same deal as XRP. Both cannot go way far because of billions of coins flowing in the market.
Well, I'd choose the two rather than Doge.
Somehow, you could still see a future behind Cardano with its own product (blockchain and smart contract) and not a joke being hyped by popular people for their own profits. With similarities in the Ethereum project because of their founder, it's not hard to see why it should be one of the top coins that have more value in the market.
2102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 14, 2021, 05:45:45 AM
Glen Taylor has finally agreed to sell the Timberwolves, the deal will be signed in the coming days i guess. Afair, Taylor purchased the team for less than $100m back in the 90s and now sells it for $1.5 billion....not a bad turnaround. Grin
Damn, I didn't realize it was that long already.
What changes could happen with Twolves now with their new owners? I hope it will be a competitive change. Kevin Garnett times.  Grin

Suns won against the Trail Blazers. It's was a tight game but Booker was so composed with his free throw shots to give the Suns the lead.
Because of that, the Lakers still have a chance to make it to the 6th seed as long as they keep on winning their games or they could end up with a tiebreaker.

2103  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go below $40,000 on: May 13, 2021, 03:58:16 PM

Those tweets is little disturbance for the current strong movement of bitcoin and if those news made by Elon will slowly fade I'm sure bitcoin will bounce again, the current rate of bitcoin is pretty much decent and if you bough at he price earlier you are a lucky earners at this point. Maybe for now we can see a slow movement but I'm so so positive that in next few days we can feel the bull effect again.

I hate Elon for doing this, he can support a coin like Dogecoin but he should not disregard Bitcoin, Dogecoin is a clone of Bitcoin he should support the mother of all Cryptocurrency, he should retain Bitcoin and just add other coins based on buyer's preference, anyway not many people are buying and going to buy Tesla, it will not harm in a long term.
There's a better part over that. He bought Bitcoin and told the world about it. Then, he found a new one as if he could withdraw all that Bitcoin easily.  Grin
Just because of the energy consumption Bitcoin takes. How foolish is that?
Does that mean he is really a fool behind all this creation of his. Is he just the face of Tesla?
He didn't even make an effort to research about Bitcoin first before putting money into it. Wow! I can't believe this guy.

He said he didn't dump his Bitcoin. Well, that I will believe. He won't have the guts to sell it just yet or he just can't.
2104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to earn in crypto in 2021 on: May 13, 2021, 02:59:18 PM
I'd stay with the NFT hype while it lasts and cryptocurrency staking.
IMO, both have ownership and the risks are lower than trading, arbitrage, or whatever they call it now.

Ethereum is the first choice if you want a staking process that will happen soon. Heavily trusted and maybe it can claim back its better usage than other cryptocurrencies out there that gave a new option to transact cheap and with speed.
Passive income is what I always look for so I could still do my work while my money is moving unlike keeping it in my bank account.
Bitcoin is still top on my lists, it's passive in its own way.
2105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk supporting greener crypto on: May 13, 2021, 11:01:24 AM
Or we could simply say he is on target again with a crypto to talk about BS again.  Grin
Ethereum is my guess.
He doesn't go far with the top cryptos out there so that's my only bet.
His aims are really difficult to predict. What could be going on in the mind of Elon Musk? Following him is okay but you don't need to always do what he hypes around. As a small investor, I'd stay with the top ranks but not because he said so.
2106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 13, 2021, 05:12:02 AM
Mavs on the way to win against Pelican today, as they have a good lead in the middle of the 4th quarter now with 20++ cushion.
Trail Blazers won too. Lakers also did win. I thought Rockets will try to upset them as it was a close game.
Could've been a bad loss for the gamblers out there, and a huge one with x10 the bet if the Rockets win it without spreads.  Grin

How come a bad team will just lose 2 points against a Lakers team that had superstars in their roster?
Drummond, Kuzma, KCP, Harrell, and Morris.
These guys are known names and yet they are having difficulties winning with a Rockets team that had been banged hard by others.
Lakers don't have that intensity anymore unlike last year with Howard and McGee around.
I get it, James and AD are not around but that's just a Rockets team they are up against without John Wall, Gordon, and Wood.
2107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What have you bought with Bitcoin? on: May 12, 2021, 03:15:11 PM
That's cool.
My first buy? That's the problem. I have nothing to share yet. Every purchase was exchanged with fiat first and that's not the same.  Grin
But good luck with this and can we also see the stories being shared? Or we should still need to find it on Twitter?
I mean, will you also put the links in OP of those who shared their experiences? So that everyone could read it in this forum especially those who don't have any Twitter accounts.
2108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sumo betting seems rigged - can you make profit with it? on: May 12, 2021, 10:39:50 AM
I am not questioning if it is rigged, however, I am surprised as that really goes against the whole Japanese tradition and respect to sports in general. I know they are not above cheating in any regard, but still, it always seemed (and I think I watched somewhere where they talk about it) that they have the utmost respect to keeping sports as pure as possible. Oh well, modern times require modern solutions.
Indeed, respect and discipline. That's why it's not easy to believe this kind of rumor.
Well, if it's true it might just be in that circle of sports.
Use in our favor? Yes, but it requires the information. Where would we get it?
Many fake rumors out there and fake analysts could just be doing it for their own advantage. I wouldn't mind putting a little bet as long as the source is legitimate.
I will just think of it as a strategy of the wrestler to avoid fighting the stronger one in rankings. Perhaps that's the real reason behind it.
2109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gwei: How much at least? on: May 12, 2021, 08:24:02 AM
Hello,

how much Gwei do we need at least to send Ethereum?
Low is actually 170 Gwei.
Can we send it for 50 Gwei?
There is no hurry. Can take 1 or 2 days.
For now, it seems that you can no longer make transactions at 50Gwei, because the lowest Gwei fee is already more than 100 Gwei, so at least you have to make above 100 Gwei at this time because if 50 Gwei is certain your transaction will fail.
Not just that, you will have to wait for days before it prompts you to fail.
I would consider looking for a better option for now. Sell your Ethereum for another coin then just swap it back if you do really need Ethereum in your storage.
Like BSC chain or just using other coins that are cheap with speed. LTC or XRP or whatever coin you prefer.

Or, just follow what others had said above me. Pay more with speed or pay the average with slow service. The average is still way expensive.

2110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 12, 2021, 06:36:48 AM
A big shoutout to Russell Westbrook haters saying he achieved that record because of stat-padding.

Even a player will force to do a stat-padding, it's hard to do that triple-double every game intentionally.

Appreciate greatness. That record can't be broken for another 10 to 20 seasons I think. Smiley
It's a physical game and even if we say he is stats padding, it won't be easy.
To create an assist you have to be a better passer to make the receiver shoot the ball in the easiest way possible.
He doesn't force those guys to shoot, they are just open thanks to the perfect pass.

What I really like about him is his physical strength and agility. He can still have 40 minutes per game and you won't even see him too exhausted and walking on the floor. He just keeps on running, rebounding, and even attacking the paint.
All my respect for him for giving us the opportunity to witness greatness again.

  • If you decide to gamble, you should keep a record of how much money and time you spend on gambling daily. Studies show that gamblers lose track of how much time and money they spend on gambling.

Does any of these methods work for you? How do you keep a rein on your gambling habits?
I actually do this all the time.
Fiat or in crypto, every detail about the bet should be listed. I am mostly in sports betting so it is not that difficult.
You put your bet, you list how much it is, or just remember it since there is already a history in most of the sports betting sites.
There should also be a budget. Let's say 50k satoshis per day, don't go over that limit.
Discipline should be implemented or else you will keep on doing it until you get broke.
There is always another day where you go lucky.

Cousins is giving it to the Lakers right now. I think he’s showing them what they passed up on. He’s making Montrez Harrell (who makes a lot more money) look like a college kid out there. Rondo looks to be getting himself some revenge as well. I was hoping LeBron would be playing but I guess they’re still letting him sit during the tough games until he’s closer to full strength.
Only only played few minutes in this game, https://www.rotowire.com/basketball/player.php?id=3297
Injury has really become a big problem for the Lakers, they again lose and they slide in ranking now.

The number 1 team in the West is now at rank number 6, tied with the Blazers on record.
I feel too bad for the Lakers, hopefully, Lebron will come back healthy soon.
Mavericks already above them now with 6 games left. Blazers are going to fight harder for number 6. Lakers should think about some ways to win.
Why not use Gasol more? He had made good contributions during their game against the Nuggets and I hate to look at them defeating the team I cheer for but I saw a spark there with the Lakers team because of Marc even for just 17 minutes.

The Warriors also taking a big step upward from number 10 to number 8. Plenty of changes happening in WCF while the playoffs is going near.

Lakers looking good without Lebron James, leading by 10 against the Nuggets. Anthony Davis is having the best game since he comes back from injury.

Not an impressive win though. The Lakers still needs to improve their ball rotation and plays. Lucky their bench was draining some threes from Gasol and Matthews, and a good winning block from AD at the end of the game.
They were up 10 down the stretch and the Nuggets was able to close the gap at 2.
So, again not an impressive win. I know there was no LeBron and so the Nuggets has no Murray as well.

Indeed. They should use Marc Gasol more. They are too inclined to use Drummond only but forgot Gasol can shoot outside which is a big threat for a center.
If they can open up space thru the rim then they could attack more using Davis.
They are lucky Dozier was injured and the Nuggets were having a difficult time finding their offense while Porter was also having a bad night.
It's a good start, perhaps they can now find some determination with this win against a team from the top.

Where is Kuzma? 31 minutes 6 points. This should be the time where he could shine most while Lebron is still resting. He had his minutes and was good against the Raptors. No consistency.
2117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why FOMO when a coin is pumping on: May 04, 2021, 06:50:00 AM
Simple. For a chance of a ride to the moon.
But sadly, most of it goes to hell.  Grin

Riding the wave is a common thing to happen especially when you have the money ready to buy it.
One more good reason is you did profit from doing it in the past and you are just trying to repeat it.
Newbies though will have a hard time getting their courage to purchase in that position. Most of them will be veterans in the field of trading.
If there will be rookies, it's a possibility they were just dragged by the hype.
2118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: holding is not an easy thing on: May 03, 2021, 12:52:07 PM
Wrong. It's not only for the rich.
It comes down to how you will manage it.

You don't buy coins using your budget for daily needs. You buy them with your excess money instead of keeping them in banks.
That way, you want to make a profit by taking some risk. Fear is what makes others sell. Greed could also be one reason behind it.
I had been holding Ethereum for a long time and it didn't occur to me that this kind of value will happen.
My target was $1k but I didn't sell. Why? Because I don't need it yet, that's my spare money that was used to buy it and now it's still growing.
2119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 02, 2021, 08:53:44 AM
That's why there back is against the wall for now, they have to win every remaining games just to stay in the spot the problem is their next 6 games is against a very tough teams.

vs Raptors
vs Nuggets
vs Clippers
vs Portland
vs Suns
vs Knicks

Ouch!, except for Toronto, the rest are high caliber teams. So imagine what's going on Lebron's mind right now.
Damn, it will be a rough road for them.
All of these teams do want to win their last remaining games and take the 1st and 2nd seed.
For obvious reasons, they want to battle an exhausted 7th and 8th seed that just finished a hardcore game in the play-in tournament.
A good tactic to advance in the 1st round of the playoffs with less effort. Lebron and the Lakers team will need to perform at their highest level to defeat them.
2120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Gas fee issue on: May 02, 2021, 05:57:28 AM
The problem was already said in the notification.
You don't have enough Ethereum.
Now you need to purchase that coin if you want to continue sending your ERC-20 token to another address.
Don't worry it won't be lost there. All you have to do now is save money and buy the expensive Ethereum then try sending it again or you could wait for their update.
But in your case, I think you'll just let it go and pick a new exchange where you could save more money with transaction fees.
Gas fees are soaring in the Ethereum network and I won't recommend that.
