Why dont you give up promoting your website? You have already been tagged as a person who cant be trusted in this forum. While Genesis Mining and others have not become a ponzi scam yet, all of the other cloudmining sites in the past have already been proven to be ponzis. Are they paying to to be a shill?
2102  Economy / Speculation / Re: The effect of fees on the Chinese exchanges in a single chart on: January 26, 2017, 08:00:58 AM
If the Peoples Bank of China have ordered BTC exchanges to stop 0% fees market making and also made them stop offering leveraged or margin trading then that also means that Chinese exchanges have lost some of their profit generators. Will this then make the exchange business very competitive in China? Maybe we will see 1 or 2 exchanges in China close down because of lack of revenue.
2103  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Anywhere good to sell things for Bitcoin yet? on: January 26, 2017, 07:41:04 AM
There used to be a good site for selling items called but bitmit.com but they closed up shop a while ago.
There have been others that have tried and some of the best currently include https://bitify.com although they don't seem to be as successful as Bitmit once was.
You could also try creating a store on Open Bazaar. They recently released their platform and its already quite big.

Really? How big is Open Bazaar these days? How many sellers do they have and how wide are the choices of their products? Show and tell us what you bought there and which seller would you recommend for us to buy from?
2104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in China on: January 26, 2017, 07:36:49 AM
I dont think china will ban bitcoin, even they ban bitcoin it just their goverment not their people. They people still use bitcoin

Who knows bitcoin get bans in china or not. As a recent development, the Chinese bitcoins exchanges has started fee on bitcoin exchanges which has effected bitcoin fake volumes. Maybe this is the first step from making people go away from bitcoins in china. We never know.

Another case of shallow thinking from the posters here. I dont think most of you really understand Bitcoin. In order to effectively ban Bitcoin use you have to also ban the use of the internet. How will the Chinese government do that? If they ban all exchanges from operating then they will use other services like Localbitcoin. If they ban that then they will try some other way to get them. What they plan to do will not stop BTC.
2105  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: what happened to Huobi? on: January 26, 2017, 07:29:59 AM

Its not just bitcoinwisdom not picking them up, they also aren't on bitcoinity any longer.  Thinking the biggest volume was happening at OKcoin anyway.

Has Okcoin added fees to all trades in their exchange yet? Maybe the reason theyre still there is because it was only Huobi that added fees and has stopped all the fake trades. If Okcoin gets rid of all the fake trades maybe their volume would be so much lower. I suspect that BTCC really has the highest volume in China.
2106  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: what happened to Huobi? on: January 25, 2017, 07:30:56 AM
There were people saying that Chinese exchanges had fake volume because of the 0% fees but I didnt know those volumes were this fake after they added fees. Hehehe. Grin

But seriously I dont see them included at bitcoinwisdom.com and bitcoincharts.com anymore. Maybe they really did have the fakest volume of all the Chinese exchanges?
2107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in China on: January 25, 2017, 07:14:32 AM
Hehehe yeah I have read a lot of retarded comments and very little sensible ones. I tend to avoid the speculation threads and never mind the altcoins threads. The posters there do nothing but troll and FUD a lot and sometimes they do reverse trolling something of which I think was invented here.
2108  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Anywhere good to sell things for Bitcoin yet? on: January 25, 2017, 07:08:46 AM
Maybe purse.io is good. I heard a lot of news and reviews about it, but there are still some bad reviews about it. However that problem with it is that purse.io is not really an amazon affliliated or connected service. It is just some other company buying from amazon and just shipping to the buyers. I hope we can get some more services that would cater to bitcoins.

If you like the products sold at Amazon and you want to spend only in BTC then purse.io is the best site for ehat you want to do. There is no other site doing this but them. Amazon will never accept BTC in my opinion.
Theres no sure if amazon wont accept bitcoin but if they saw the demand of that payment option maybe they will adopt it but we wont know on when.Yes purse.io is only the way as far as i know to use when you tend to buy online by using bitcoin but hearing on the feedbacks on their service turns out that most of them are unsatisfied.

Most of purse.io's customers are unsatisfied? Most? Are you sure or are you making this up? I want you to post your proof where you got this from. Did you personally do a survey? I have not heard of this before and as far as Im concerned they are one of the best services in the Bitcoin market. Before you post something please be careful and please make sure they are true.

Right, he must have not declared something as a fact yet without truly knowing the truth of it. But maybe he is just referring to some few that had a bad experience with them. I read somewhere that one customer was scammed for his bitcoins in purse.io. I am not sure though how it was resolved as I forgot the link to it already, I read it here on the forums somewhere. But regardless, I think purse.io can be trusted as there are only a very few that complain about it.

Hes probably making things up. I checked his last 30 - 50 posts and I have noticed that he jump from topic to topic posting whatever comes first in his mind. The moderators should be a little more strict in maintaining the post quality of the forum.
2109  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Dark marketplaces? on: January 25, 2017, 07:05:14 AM
Can you post or pm me the thread of rizlarolla? Thanks.

I have checked forum.bitcoin.com. Its a good forum but there are not that many people on and its almost like a ghost town. The people that run it should try to encourage more people to join. A BTC incentive like a faucet might do the trick.

As for the comments made specifically in this thread, theyre mostly crap and clearly those people have no experience buying in the darknet.
2110  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Dark marketplaces? on: January 24, 2017, 07:04:14 AM

This may be the case with some of the smaller unknown markets but you shouldn't be using them anyway. If you were to use any of the big ones being listed and talked about on r/darknetmarkets and follow the correct security procedures including PGP and multisig escrow then you should be fine.
In some cases LE is still playing catch up in this field.

Thank you for the educated comment. Most of the posts here are very low quality and almost retarded. Some in this forum clearly have not tried to do their research. They post as if they dont care if what they say is right or wrong. I think some are only in highschool because the level of intellect is still immature.

You should not judge for what they have posted doesn't fit to your standards, maybe there were point that you dont have an idea of what he or she has. Now back to the main topic, we could be sure that dark marketplaces will be a legit sites to invest with due to many scammers circulating at the web and why not invest exactly at a good reputation sites and you can assure your profits is progressive.

Im not judging. What I said is a fact. Most of the people here are sometimes making things up. If you check the meta sub forum some people are already saying that this forum's post quality have already gone down to a new low. Look at your post for example.

You are contradicting yourself. I know many of the people here may lack the proper education because they come from 3rd world countries but at least try to post well and read up online to learn more.

2112  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: My Coinbase account closed, Help please! on: January 24, 2017, 06:45:53 AM
Post a thread about your problem in Coinbase's subreddit:

https://www.reddit.com/r/CoinBase/

Their staff actively monitor that sub and you should get a quicket response than if you opened a ticket.

For your information Coinbase takes a very long time to respond to their customers. They have one of the worst customer services in the market so good luck in getting a quick reply from their staff. Why not avoid using that service?
2113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in China on: January 24, 2017, 06:42:11 AM
The Chinese are among the biggest traders of bitcoin. They do their trading 24/7 with help of super computers. All these talk about China being worried about the yuan devaluation because of bitcoin is I think all rubbish. The market cap of bitcoin is really, really small compared to the overall Chinese economy.

Super computers? Really? Ive never heard of that before. Where did you hear this and can you post your proof. I know some of the Chinese traders use trading bots to automate their trades but theres no mention of super computers. I mean this is only trading not rocket science.
2114  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: $1200 disappeared in Coinbase on: January 24, 2017, 06:35:00 AM
OK, the issue has resolved now, CheapAir found the transaction in their accounts. Turns out, it came 0.0002 BTC short (tx fee), that's why the booking didn't complete. CheapAir generously swallowed 20 cents loss and issued me a ticket. But the lack of response on Coinbase part is disturbing. 72 hours for urgent payment issue?? Come on. And what if resolving my question required several back-and-forth communications, wait 72 hours each way? That like communicating with Martians.

Glad to hear everything was resolved and it worked out well for you. Coinbase is a bad service with a lot of issues like this concerning customer support taking very long to answer inquiries. The Coinbase CEO is also not very smart according to a lot of Bitcoiners.
2115  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: $1200 disappeared in Coinbase on: January 23, 2017, 07:50:27 AM
Weird. My advice, look for all your transactions in the blockchain that was involved in this purchase then try to contact Coinbase. Im sure if something went wrong its with Coinbase. If you want to gain their attention try contacting them on Twitter.
2116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Blockstream must stay honest on: January 23, 2017, 07:41:58 AM
Does Blockstream have all the power to control everything? No the miners have a big say on the whole thing. So if Blockstream turned out to be a bad player another group will try to fork BTC away from core with the full support of the miners. What are you afraid of?
2117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in China on: January 23, 2017, 07:35:35 AM
Interests in Japan, India, and some parts of Europe might support the current trend if something bad happens in China.

Do you think the interest in India and the others you mentioned as strong as the support in China? I dont think so. The price could fall back to 700 or something but there is nothing to fear really. In the whole history of Bitcoin it has not showed that it will die anytime soon.
2118  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: My Coinbase account closed, Help please! on: January 23, 2017, 07:30:23 AM
You're not the only one having this issue. Coinbase is known for closing accounts when their clients send funds to some service that isn't legitimate in their jurisdiction.

You need to view their terms of service: https://www.coinbase.com/legal/user_agreement?locale=en.

If you didn't do anything against it, I would suggest you to explain to them.

Coinbase is stupid. Why are they dealing with BTC if they mean to limit the places where you spend them on? Their business would be better if they dealt with USD or EUR. Why dont they run a regular ewallet like Neteller. Thats what all Coinbase really is. I also heard the owner is one of the stupidest people in Bitcoin.
The are an exchange not a wallet. People who uses coinbase without reading their TOS and complaining about it are the ones stupid. They give users a complete set of rules to abide yet tey can't and oce their account are closed they complain. Coinbase are kind enough to allow users to withdraw their money first.
I people are using their wallet in gambling and tradin with others, they would've used a proper wallet like blockchain, electrum, etc that doesn't have any rules against it.

Coinbase is not an exchange like BTCe is an exchange. It is also a quasi wallet because they encourage the ease of use of BTC if you use their site. They are like a combination of an exchange and an ewallet.

If you are a buyer you could use your BTC to buy stuff on Amazon using purse.io. I havent used it personally but I heard that you could buy almost anything at 15% to 20% discount. If you are a seller, there are no sites that accomodate people who like to sell for BTC. Try Craig's List.
