2101  Economy / Economics / Re: Taxless society idea on: December 19, 2019, 03:27:53 PM
Before we dream to have taxless society. Let us first define the tax.
In my own understanding, it is a burden that shoulders by citizen in order for the state to have funds. The government collects it and return back to the people in form of infrastructure, budget for different agencies and other projects.
Therefore, how does the state grows up if there is no tax? Let us always go back to basic before we wish to have a taxless society.

I agree there is no way we can have a taxless society, although there are countries which has a very minimal taxes, and these countries are coming from oil rich country, they can do that because they have a very high revenues coming from oil, but for other countries they need taxes to support infrastructure and delivering basic goods.
2102  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: December 19, 2019, 02:58:22 PM

The truth is so many people are coming here because of the profit, they got their inspirations from people posting their earnings on social media and of course people will be attracted on profit not on the technology, I guess as long as they entered the community, they will later learn how this technology works, after a few weeks or months.
2103  Economy / Economics / Re: finding investors on: December 19, 2019, 12:13:38 PM

I want just to get some advice on bitcoin investors. do they exist?

You don't have to look for them, they will be the one to look for you, provided that you have something interesting to offer to the community, and you projects has unique concept, people will leave you right away if they find you just copying some people's content and project and they will even report you, so be sure you have a different one and investors will buzz you.
2104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will China Accept Bitcoin As A Currency? on: December 19, 2019, 11:41:36 AM
The chance of bitcoin being accepted as a currency in China is really high. Looking at how the Chinese government approaches bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency world they are really positive about it. So yeah maybe not now but for sure in the future, they will accept it.

Have you already read the past articles about China's president views about Bitcoin, they already stated that they support blockchain but never support Bitcoin, it was news all over last two months ago if I may recall, but it's still a good promotion for Bitcoin, even if they are not promoting or adopting it.
2105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: December 18, 2019, 03:28:48 PM
Two months to go and the build up is great I just hope fans and bettors will not be disappointed just like what happen to the Joshua Ruiz rematch, where it did not live to expectation, because Ruiz has been busy eating all he can going to the match, and some people call him scammer for not going to the fight well prepared.
2106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You selling to buy Xmas gifts or using bitcoins to buy Xmas gifts? on: December 18, 2019, 02:41:44 PM
I'm selling some of my bitcoins to buy Christmas gift as there are no local stores that accepts BTC as payment here. And I think this could be the case for the majority here, unless they have fiat then obviously they won't touch their bitcoin because of the current price.

I'm also doing that but not much only 1/4 of what I'm holding right now, Cryptotalk wallet is off and I can add anymore funds for the holiday except the one that are in my wallets, but as soon as Cryptotalk wallet opened I will buy back those Bitcoin that i sold, I think majority of us here experienced this because of the holiday rush where there are so many stuffs that are on sale.
2107  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Over? on: December 18, 2019, 02:21:41 PM
I have seen more than 100 threads with similar subject in the time I have spent here. The answer is NO and will be a big NO. Bitcoin's popularity is higher than ever and people are trying to get a piece of it whenever there is a dump. Hopefully, we will see a new rise in 2020 and another Bull run for alts.
And this kind of opinion will not go away easily, there will always people who will say that Bitcoin days are over every time Bitcoin price is down, it's been going that way ever since the creation of Bitcoin, there's really a lot of people who are just waiting for Bitcoin to burst, which I think is not going to happen, because of the support it is getting.
2108  Economy / Reputation / Re: List of banned participants in the Cryptotalk Campaign on: December 18, 2019, 01:21:08 PM
Since I'm also a member of Cryptotalk and a very active member  I pm the admin of the forum to ask about the campaign and this is what I got

2109  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Unofficial] CryptoTalk.Org & Yobit Panel BTCtalk Signature Campaign Discussion on: December 18, 2019, 10:25:07 AM
There was a list of all participants to this campaign made by someone at the beginning of it but can't find it anymore and can't remember who compiled it.
Guess it was the result of some script because it also had some stats like average post before and after joning the campaign , merit earned and maybe some other record : anyone knows if it's still up and updated somewhere?

It is that list:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5203176.0

But it looks like is not updated from 21st November.

This list was made probably in this service https://bpip.org/ , but unfortunatelly I don't know how to get this information out of here.

i think that list will be updated once a month so the next update will be around 21st December
but that list is just for all the bitcointalk member that wears the sig then if you check clearly you will saw many of them is under the sr member
Those werent accurate numbers and as you said there were low ranking members who do wear off signature and also we do have that banlist
of people who do join up cryptotalk campaign that do violate rules so we can somewhat count the current participants is on 200+ i guess.
This list is on overall and telling the precise number havent mentioned officially. For co-signature participants out there,
how many days do the hot wallet get refilled?

Last one took seven days, but now there is no guaranty but I'm pretty sure they will refill it, it's not yet seven days so we have nothing to worry for now, we should when it's already ten days or more, but if you are uncomfortable with uncertainty, then you can move to other campaign anytime.
2110  Economy / Economics / Re: How do manage portfolio efficiently while having a full time job? on: December 17, 2019, 04:47:19 PM
By having a weekday 9-5 job, i must say my eyes aren't that keen anymore for trends and hardly made any good decision on buying/selling alts. Basically what i did is:

Weekdays: Coinalarm app to observe my portfolio real time but it's far less efficient and responsive to market movement, Slack and Telegram app are linked as well but still is very difficult to process insightful information while in working mood.

Weekends: More active than usual but time is limited  Undecided

Any opinions or suggestion to improve my current situation?

Thanks in advance and sorry for bad english  Sad

Stop doing trading and just invest and hodl for a long term, as long as you have this kind of situation, you will mismanage your portfolio and this is not good for your investment, just pick the right coin and hodl it, we all know there is a huge rewards hodling good coins.
2111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Spouses and Divorce on: December 17, 2019, 01:48:30 PM
Hello Folks,

I was listening to a Bitcoin podcast the other day and the speaker mentioned that one person had written to him asking for advice - his wife had heard about Bitcoin in the mainstream media and the price rise and was pressuring him to cash it all out immediately or she would leave him.

I don't know how that particular fellow ended up but it got me thinking - for those of us with partners who are not into Bitcoin, have you ever had pressure put on you to sell it up and are they even aware of how much BTC you are actually holding?

There is a bigger picture here as well, with some people holding hundreds or thousands of BTC and the price continuing to go up - how might the court system view Bitcoin in the context of divorce and separation?

It certainly raises an interesting point.

Thoughts?

I have no problem with my wife because she don't know much about Bitcoin but that's one of the risk if your wife knows all about Bitcoin and she is not a believer and we all know woman like shopping and material stability, but as long as you can explain to her about the potential, then you are good husband, husband should be good in explaining and it should be convincing.
2112  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin might be over but blockchain will live on: December 17, 2019, 12:00:14 PM
Bitcoin keeps going down and forecasts of a rebound don't fulfill anymore
Cryptocurrencies should be moving beyond from being just value storage. Real functionality is needed.

Blockchain technology is well positioned to be the next level of money evolution
But governments are starting to implement it because they know it can save their ailing printed money

When I first proposed to use cryptocurrencies as support for a financial system based on energy instead of money or gold, some members asked me how it would be instrumented. Thanks to them all.

Here it is. The basis of a plan for a financial system based on blockchain technology and energy, mainly solar, that can show the way it may be operative and workable.

I'd really appreciate a review. Thanks in advance

After ten years and we still see people think Bitcoin will be over, I don't know how they are analyzing the situation I know OP is a newbie, but he should do a research and check if Bitcoin is really over, I hate it when people posted that Bitcoin has major flaws then go on to post a new project or coin, just promote your coin and don't create FUDS about Bitcoin.
2113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the faith of Scammers if bitcoin later becomes a traceable Currency. on: December 16, 2019, 04:32:38 PM
"if bitcoin later becomes a traceable Currency"

Well, bitcoin is already traceable. In fact, you can look at the transactions being made right now through block explorer sites like Blockchain.com[1]. Hence why you mostly see funds stolen by hackers being stationary, as they definitely wouldn't want to be sending the funds on exchanges as this would most definitely expose who they are.

[1] https://www.blockchain.com/btc/unconfirmed-transactions

These Centralized exchange contributed to Bitcoin's being traceable of course apart from the blockchain explorer where all transactions are recorded, so far many hackers are being caught but these exchanges must keep up to battle these hackers, there are so many exchange hacking happens this year.
2114  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Full Member rank above apply for a Member rank slot on: December 16, 2019, 10:30:25 AM
I don't see anything wrong on that, in fact I myself applied for full member slot even though I am already a senior member and there are hero and legendary that also applies for lower rank, it's the manager's discretion if they will accept you or not, bounty manager looks for good posters regardless of the rank.
2115  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is buying bitcoin using ewallets like Paypal safe? on: December 16, 2019, 10:04:53 AM
When buying, you are safe as long as you use a reputable escrow or the seller sends you the bitcoins first.
The risk when selling bitcoin against PayPal is that the buyer can raise a chargeback and get his money back even after the transaction had been cleared, whereas, you can't reverse the bitcoin transaction.

Even if he is buying and the other guy send you first the Bitcoin, he can still report your account and your account will possibly get limited, it's better to not transact using Paypal or to a guy who is using Paypal, I don't like Paypal because they are very strict they will always ask for transactions that looks suspicious.
2116  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk forum payment issue and many more on: December 15, 2019, 05:01:25 PM
it seems the signature balance already run out? because i can't click the send balance right now

It looks like only Bitcointalk signature campaign balance is out of funds. For now, no one from the Cryptotalk forum - paid per post campaign reports any problems.
Let's hope that this is only a problem with one campaign and it will be solved fast.

because the rate for each forum is very different and you can see it by yourself
on cryptotalk you will earn 1k satoshi/post while on bitcointalk you can earn 20k satoshi/post if you rank legendary

But they are paying thousands of posters compare to the number of Bitcointalk participants, this is their own forum they have a huge allocation there than this forum, it took only 8 days before the wallet funds allocated funds for Bitcointalk campaign are emptied, hopefully it will not take a week or before the holiday season.
2117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can't survive alone on: December 15, 2019, 04:02:01 PM
It can survive this is what I believe after ten years and with big gap in dominance, Bitcoin is doing great at this point of time, it's the altcoins that cannot survive without Bitcoin, but it's better that there are altcoins around that has different features, it can serve other industries with their features and of course, we, investors like to have a lot of choices and options when investing.
2118  Economy / Services / Re: [HIRING] The BEST Community Builder on Bitcointalk < < < < < < < < < on: December 15, 2019, 03:17:56 PM
Even if you got what you want, people will not become active there unless they are rewarded and compensated, if you make it a paid to post forum, just like what Cryptotalk is doing and it should be a trade able token, I can't see TECH Token yet in the market, so what will your forum offers to active posters.
2119  Economy / Services / Re: I can assist in cryptotalk.org bounty on: December 15, 2019, 01:34:42 PM
I do not think there will be many people interested in this service

I agree. 5 posts a day is easy for anyone. You had to enter the market with your services in the early days of the launch of the bounty, probably you would find your customers.
The only thing you can do is dump the prices, but what then is the point. Try your luck in the bounty on the cryptotalk.org website forum itself.

My friend, there are people who have more than 1 account of Sr level. If you don't know about this, I suggest stay away from this discussion.

Do you already have an account in Cryptotalk, you can easily reach legendary member there if you are very active there, and if it is true that you can post good stuff, you will earn a lot of good reputation there, members are not really making big money here to hire your service and 5 post is attainable, of course if the poster is not a spoammer.
2120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 8 on: December 15, 2019, 10:29:55 AM
It's been a while I guess, Never thought of having a vacation lol, actually I was to busy as of the moment because of the Charity and my examinations on school.
So this topic is just about the incident on some Gambling Platform, I wonder how you guys will react if you were on the same situation of the user involved.

So here's the thing...

What if you accidentally hit a max Bet, then you actually won that bet without knowing the rules, but as for the TC of the given platform, whatever and how high your bet is you can only win a specific amount and not the total amount you've been expecting.

Example:
For every $1 you can win $10
But you accidentally hit max and made a bet of $1000 but as for the condition/rules that you didn't know, you just won $1500...

So what will be your judgement and at the same time your reaction?

I'll take the win and charge it to experienced it's my fault that I'm not reading the rules of the game, it's a win anyway and I'm just be glad I won the game and have not realize the rules when I am losing a lot, every gamblers falls to this kind of mistakes, but I will definitely read the rules to avoid getting surprised.
