~~~~ It's called MultipBit HD. Downloaded from the official site
just a theory since i am not using Multibit but you might want to consider this or ask around in the appropriate section here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=99.0AFAIK MultiBit HD charges you a fee in order to use it, it means that you have to pay an extra amount of bitcoin to the developers for each transaction, but i don't think it is $30 (maybe accumulated a lot of these fees over time and paid them in one place?!)
out of all the bitcoin news websites i prefer coindesk because it usually doesn't have FUD news like some of other places that make some news big and dramatic just to attract more traffic to their site. besides it has all the prices from different exchangers in one place with a nice chart that i usually check out.
Perhaps, but it will surely happen after the halving.
there is nothing for sure when speculating about bitcoin. especially the time when the rise happens. it can even be before the halving starts and ends before it too.
i have checked many bots a while ago, but i could not yet find a bot that meets my needs. there are currently two sets of bots found. (just google bitcoin or altcoin trading bot and you will find many)
the open sourced bots, which are good because they are open source so there is no doubt of their true purpose. but at the same time they are not as good and don't have enough features to use.
the closed source not free bots, which are bad because you can't tell what they will do with your API keys and also you have to buy them, but they are better because they have more features.
but none of them are good enough, the only bot which can be good is the one you code or hire a developer and ask him to code it to your needs.
whenever you don't find your transaction on blockchain, you might want to try and search the tx id on another block explorer because sometimes the blockexplorers have some trouble with connection to their nodes or the tx might not be on their nodes.
it can be a good idea but has a big problem, and that is the issue of trusting you. since you are the one creating the paper wallets and the private keys, the buyer needs to trust you are don't have the the private keys so the paper wallet won't go empty after the purchase.
|
|
it is hard to consider bitcoin as real money when sometimes you have to wait half an hour to get a confirmation on a transaction so that you can be sure you have received the money (bitcoin)!
|
|
|
it is always buy time before the block halving effect kicks in. and by that time you have to sit back and enjoy seeing the bitcoin rocket go to the moon and make you richer.
Hi I'm new to this forum and I'm thinking of creating a bitcoin casino - just a simple dice game. Aside from having it hosted offshore, what are the basic steps to have it up and running?
Cheers
the best option is to hire a good developer who can design the website for you because if you are not familiar with website design you are going to encounter a lot of problems in the future like hacking, DDOS, exploits in the script that might lead to you losing your money, and many more.
Everyone in this thread saying gambling makes them money are only fooling themselves. Are you guys accounting for the losses versus the wins? I'm sure if you add everything up you've lost more than won. You may as well do binary options, at leas you have some prediction.
i agree. gambling is not a way of making money at all. it is possible to make money through gambling though, since it is a game of chance it would be like winning a lottery and getting rich. but it is based on luck so you cant count on it. besides those professional gamblers who are making money through gambling are seasoned players of games they can control like Poker and they play it face to face and not online
it depends.
if the casino is brand new, i will only consider going there and checking them out if they can some sort of promotional giveaways that lets me play for free.
but if the casino is old and trusted i would not mind playing at their casino and investing because they have passed the tests over the time they were active.
Even though $17k might be lower amount than losing the data, it just encourage the hackers to continue with what they doing. Very selfish from the hospital, unless these lost data are very important - but what would happened if these HDD/s just naturally broken?
Not selfish at all from the hospital...imagine if someone needed immediate care and the hospital couldn't provide it/gave the wrong meds etc...a medical malpractice lawsuit is going to cost them more than $17k...a LOT more Yes, but what if the HDD/s just naturally broke, or some virus just wiped the HDDs like in old days. The hospital should anticipate there is small chance of such things happening and dont relly on the data that is not properly backedup offline. Thats it. yeah, this sounds strange to me too. they had to have some kind of back up. every system that stores important data, takes a backup and store that in a different place for this type of situations.
my method is to invest it in websites that provide gambling services
Like moneypot ? I think moneypot investment is not populer right now. maybe you will get lose only, user on there already gone I think there's some gambling site that accept investing like betking io or just dice..You can make profit i the house is always win but if the players is always win your money will drain.. But honestly this is not a good way to grow our bitcoins.. Its better to start a little business like buy cheap and sell expensive stuffs.. Here in our digital goods.. Example buy a cheap sr.member and sell it for high price.. yeah i agree with the second part of your comment. it is always a better choice to start a business on your own and profit from your own work rather that trusting somebody else with your money and getting a small portion of their reward as profit. it would be more constructive to bitcoin in order to become a currency instead of staying as an investment.
Blockchain is an excellent technology that bitcoin has introduced to the world. but by all means bitcoin is not outdated no matter how media tried to kill it.
additionally hundreds and hundreds of Altcoins have proven that blockchain technology alone is not going to lead to their success, just check out all the dead altcoins over the years and the rest is dying too.
well, it was time that bitcoin price started going up (continue to go up) once again. this is the natural way that has been going on for some time. and if you look back acouple of weeks, we are just going back to where we were before the drama which pushed the price down from $450 to $370. so now it is back to normal post drama!
What are some other crypto currency related forums other then bitcointalk that you visit?
there are some other forums but none of them are as active as bitcointalk.org at the moment. in addition to what my previous comments said i want to add reddit/r/bitcoin reddit/r/(Put Altcoin Name Here) reddit/r/cryptocurrency also check the sidebars of those subreddits for more links.
I want to move into a position where I buy and hodl, but I always hold out too long to buy in after a drop :/
that is where the bots come in. and so far the only good bot is the one you yourself code. you set it so that it can decide for you by keeping its eye on the market 24,7 so you never have to lose any more opportunities.
... the blockchain address said the coins were sent to the middle of the Gulf of Guinea...
I also do not understand why blockchain.info provide this information. Where is the location referring to?? and what is the significant of this location? that is the bitcoin node that broadcast the tx to the network not necessarily the owner or sender of the bitcoin. move your mouse over to the "?" mark in front of the "Relayed by IP" and it explains what that information is.
