What would a "good week" be like? $10,000 by Friday. You saw it here folks. Come on!!!!! I haven't been signed up here long but I've been involved in BTC for a while, nobody is stupid enough to believe we'll hit 10,000 USD any time soon. Maybe in 5 or so years. |

What would a "good week" be like? For me it would be not falling any lower. I really don't want it to go below £200. It's saddening watching it drop. I don't care about it 'going to the moon', but I want the price to just stay stable at least. A good week would be getting to around £250. And United losing next weekend  |

All these arguments are very fascinating, but I whats the current diagnosis? I feel that it still looks bad but there may be a small bounce and we have now achieved a local minima. Not putting money on it yet.

I'm 28, if BTC explodes when I'm 55-60 then I will have a great retirement.

I can afford to lose that money (not that I'd be happy about it).
The BTC I hoard will either make me a large sum of cash or flitter out into nothing.
I'm here for the long term 10-20 years.
Thats what everyone says, but it will be interesting to see if you can afford to hold BTC, if you lose a job, when you buy a house, when you have kids, etc. If a BTC hits $50k USD in 5 years can you still hold onto it? If 1 BTC hits 50k I will sell 75% of my stash and be a very wealthy man. |

This is the transfer of wealth going on right now - rich fiat is coming and buying at a relatively low point while truely early adopters need cash to maintain.
Good time for this, hopefully we see $100 soon.
sure, this must be it !  Smile all you want I am stocking BTC with a monthly buy - I very rarely sell any. I came in after runup to $250 in May 2013, I am HODLing for a very, very, very long time and dont ever have to sell. I have funds waiting on COIN ETF but if we get to a price that I think is better and easier to deal with I do a bulk buy. I am not the only one doing this - see http://avc.com/2014/10/averaging-in-and-averaging-out/I am planning to hoard my coins for a very long time but it doesn't make it feel any better when the price is on a downward spiral. |

Under $320 before the end of 2014 , is it possible ? Under 320 USD? Almost certainly, it could quite easily drop that low by the end of the weekend unfortunately. |

Really hope we don't go any lower.
I'm enjoying buying cheap couns atm but I don't want us to go lower than 300 USD again.
Place some stop loss at 270, if we brake 275 then we could go to 200~250. I'm at least £1500 (GBP) down on what I've invested. I'm a long term hoarder & won't sell any coins but it is frustrating over the last 2 months seeing the price continuously dropping. Yeah I know how you fell, I bought at 500 +-  Same. I've bought about 6 or 7 BTC since we fell below 400 USD to try and minimise my losses but still at a stinking loss. |

It seems people who hold several btc always have a same dream about future.
I'd love to watch the dream comes true.
I try to hold some BTC, but I'm so OCD that I just can't sit on them. I have to exchange them for other cryptos. So far it hasn't worked out for me that well.....but I hope it eventually does. Just need that 1 big score. Edit: I just realized I sound like a drug addict. Hold onto your BTC. Long term hoarding is the only way to make big money now unless you're mining. All other cryptos aren't worth shit. |
