21141  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The European Parliament voted for granting Ukraine visa-free regime on: April 07, 2017, 03:46:03 AM
This will be of little use for the Ukrainians. If they (legally) can't work in the European Union, then what is the use in having a visa free regime? I assume that a lot of them will start working illegally. Some will apply for the refugee status as well, especially those from the Donbass.
21142  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Teens suspended from school for posing with air soft rifles on Facebook at home on: April 07, 2017, 03:44:20 AM
Government does really react on this kind of behavior because they do treat it as a threat or they dont really like at all on having this kind of post of picture. They take it seriously and for me theres nothing to be worried about since those guns are just toys they are just over reacting.

I wish I could agree with you. But even while I am a strong advocate for gun rights, this picture was deeply disturbing, even for me. They are kids, and they should have fun. But posting such images in social media is not the right thing.
21143  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The end of Western civilization on: April 07, 2017, 03:42:10 AM
I think the last great War to be fought before the end of the world will be against Islam and Islamic extremism, they always want to force their beliefs on everyone else and lots of country wont bulge, in my opinion. Western Civilization wont fall.
Of course, Western civilization will not fall! Now the world is going to abandon oil. Many Muslim countries are living only by the sale of oil and for them it is a problem. I think that on this basis there will be war.

But then, the Islamic nations have benefited enormously from the petro-dollar flows, during the last 50 years or so. They are sitting on top of enormous cash piles called sovereign wealth funds (SWFs), which are worth about $3 trillion right now.
21144  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Up Like Trump on: April 07, 2017, 03:39:20 AM
In fact McCain was charged with treason and needed to be pardoned by Nixon.  That is why his record is sealed and that is why he guts all the bills to help Americans because he doesn't want us to find out the truth about his cowardly treason...

I am really shocked. I don't like McCain that much, due to his links with corporations such as Space X. Also, he has behaved like a RINO in the senate, although he was elected from a deep red state. But I had a lot of respect for him. All of that is gone now.  Angry
21145  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Heroin? Cocaine? Weed? on: April 07, 2017, 03:36:00 AM
The government should just accept the fact that the drugs can't be eliminated. As long as the demand exists, the people will find a way to secure them. The only viable option is to legalize and regulate them.
Making it legalize and regulate them would really cause to much more trouble on this world and its not really right to exclude it and I would rather choose to stick on prohibiting it rather than on legalizing it because i cant imagine a society on which drugs are legal.

It is not possible to ban them with 100% efficiency. Even in countries such as Singapore and Saudi Arabia, where drug usage carries capital sentence, the drugs are easily available. So the best option, IMO is to legalize them.
21146  Other / Politics & Society / Re: trump bombs syria, sells out to neocons/jews on: April 07, 2017, 03:34:14 AM
This incident was a major disappointment. And remember that the attacks comes at a time, when the SAA is making rapid advances against the ISIS. Now the momentum will shift towards the Islamists.
21147  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can break above $1,100 again? on: April 06, 2017, 08:24:41 AM
If it remains at $1,100 - $1,200 levels, then we can look at breaching $2,000 within the next 2-3 months. Who knows? May be by the end of the year, we may be able to touch the $5,000 per coin mark. The reason why I am saying is that right now many of the Altcoins are over-valued. Within the next few weeks, people will dump these coins and purchase Bitcoin.
21148  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The UN security Council concluded the discussions on Syria on: April 06, 2017, 08:16:57 AM

It seems to me that these idiots prefer the ISIS to Bashar al Assad. They made the same mistake in Libya and Iraq. In both the nations, they toppled the secular rulers, and very shortly they were replaced by hard-line Islamist governments.

How many more of these before you start to wonder whether or not it is an accident?

NATO's intentions are very clear. They want to expand their area of influence at any cost. It doesn't matter to them whether they are (directly or indirectly) aiding the Islamists or not. Syria is the last remaining secular country in the middle east. Ring a bell?
And I'm sure that the Russians only until you know that NATO has no intentions to attack Assad. Remember Russia's stance on Yugoslavia? I believe that the use of chemical weapons is unacceptable in our world and Assad must answer for it. Unless of course it is not such a situation as was in Iraq. On this fact there should be sent to the international Commission for the proof. If this is true then the war with Assad and his Russian support.

The NATO bomber jets have attacked Assad's forces in the past, and they continue to do so. Only a few months back, more than 100 Syrian soldiers died in a NATO airstrike on Deir Ezzor, where they were fighting the ISIS extremists. The airstrikes actually enabled ISIS to capture territory from the SAA in this strategically important town.

Horror! Sorry for anything innocent people. 10 people were killed, and another 40 people were injured in the explosion. The identity of the terrorist has not yet been established, but surveillance cameras have fixed it.
This is a terror attacks and every good people and world leaders should condemned this wicked and unnecessary waste of human life. 10 people killed and 40 injured is not a laughing matter. Our prayers and heart are with the family of this victim of this unhuman against human.

It was an attack which should have been mourned and condemned. But unfortunately, some western nations such as Germany refused to show solidarity with the Russian people. They should have set aside politics for some time.

21150  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are the Us army to world war 3 on: April 06, 2017, 08:08:59 AM
The F-35 is one of the biggest defense scandals in the History of the United States. The American tax payers spent more than $1.5 trillion on this project, and still all they are getting is an aircraft which is far inferior to the Su-35 and the Sukhoi PAK FA.
either f-37 or f-35 which were built for war is against humanity. Look at history of world war 1 and ww2 it left humanity worse than were we are coming from as a generation. We are praying for the day were love will rule humanity and not hate. All this aircraft are for killing of human beings not animal or destruction of mountain.

That argument goes both ways. Some nations claim that the only effective deterrent against an invasion by a rival country is to acquire nuclear weapons and other advanced defense equipment. That is why countries such as Iran and DPRK are working quite hard to develop them.
21151  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The end of Western civilization on: April 06, 2017, 08:06:20 AM
The Chinese are not a threat, and therefore no one is bothered about them. I agree that a lot of these Chinese people are migrating to the Western nations, but they are assimilating well in to the native population.

A bit more insidious, yes. Fear only make people resist you. Why be hated when you can be influential and yet live peacefully in the adoptive country? That has been the Chinese way for a long time, after all many just want a comfortable life rather than convert people to an ideology/religion.

Here in the Philippines the elites are descended either from large landholders during the Spanish era or from the Chinese that migrated in multiple waves. Unlike Malaysia we didn't adopt a Malay First policy so they're doing well here.

The challenge for them here is that those that flaunt they being Chinese are seen with some suspicion. Those that act like these tend to be more recent migrants, many of those that were here during the Hispanic period has assimilated quite well that they pretty much defined what being "Filipino" is. Still, there is still anti-Chinese sentiments here (fueled by territorial disputes). Some fear that in case of war, they would side with China.

The Chinese are very hardworking, and they contribute a lot to the economy of their host nations. Look at the south-east Asian nations such as Singapore and Malaysia. Without the Chinese, these nations would be just some third world pothole.

21153  Economy / Economics / Re: Gibraltar War on: April 06, 2017, 05:52:00 AM
As the proverb goes, come and take it

Geography starts playing a role when all other roles have been played off and it becomes impossible to defend some area militarily. But GB proved that it can defend it. If they couldn't they would likely try to save the face by pretending that the Falklands are too far from the motherland and they are not worth a penny. Right now it is Argentina who is in a position like this. Really, what prevents them from taking these wretched islands with force if they are so close while Britain is so far?

It seems to me that at this point of time Argentina is not that interested in forcibly asserting its sovereignty over the Falkland Islands. The Argentine economy is not doing that great. But there is another important factor as well. The military strength of the UK is going down with every passing year. The Argentines may be waiting for the UK to become really weak, before they could wage a war against them

If you wait by the river long enough, the bodies of your enemies will float by

Though I don't think that the military machine of GB has completely rusted down, at least, not full yet. The Argentinians may have to wait too long till GB becomes weak enough to give the Falklands back to Argentina. It took almost 5 centuries till last Roman legion left Britain itself. But if it is ever going to that, the British may just sell the islands to some entity or country more powerful than themselves if they don't want to go through the humiliation of voluntary returning the islands to Argentina and still less suffer the consequences of military defeat

The last part of your post is definitely an attractive option for the Brits. Remember the sale of Diego Garcia (located in the Chagos Archipelago, previously part of the  British Indian Ocean Territory) to the Americans? The same can happen with the Falklands.
21154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New cryptocurrency launched in India on: April 06, 2017, 05:47:59 AM
The crypto-community in India is still minuscule, and the government recognition is very hard to come by. The red tape is still there, and it is very difficult to get licenses for crypto-currency exchanges and other businesses. I am quite pessimistic about this new venture.
21155  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcoin entrepreneur Amir Taaki quizzed over fighting in Syria on: April 06, 2017, 05:31:14 AM
If I were the police I would also be suspicious of someone in Bitcoin and going to Syria as well. The authorities see BTC as a tool for money laundering and going to Syria now.. well no one does that unless they are joining ISIS. So the TV tells us..

Till now, there has been only one instance of Bitcoin being used to fund the ISIS in Syria and Iraq (that was by some Muslim guy from the United States, who was arrested). The ISIS seems to be having other payment gateways to get funds, such as Qiwipay.
21156  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you with or against "the U.K. quits the European Union" ? on: April 06, 2017, 05:20:23 AM
You call them parasites because you're happy to tar entire nations with the actions of a minority.  It's all prejudice, scapegoats, intolerance and discrimination with you.  It'll be clear to anyone reading your posts who the real parasite is.  As for "exploiting" countries' resources it's a drop in the ocean compared to what British colonialism accomplished, so quit your nimby whining.

The EU immigrants are only around 2% or 3% of the British population. But they are behind the vast majority of the incidents of welfare fraud in the United Kingdom (especially those from Romania and Poland). So it is very appropriate to call them parasites.
21157  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate muslems? on: April 06, 2017, 04:35:59 AM
I hate dirty towel heads. I hate them so much sometimes when I go to the bathroom I not only bring a Koran with me but I use its pages to wipe my ass with.

I wish someone would just nuke all the arab countries so we can rid this world of the awful filth that the arabs are.

There is no point in nuking the Arab nations, as the Muslims have spread all around the world (perhaps with the exception of certain nations such as Japan, South Korea, Belarus, Bhutan, Laos, North Korea.etc). Western nations will be Muslim majority by 2050 or so.

Unless they use nukes first, including if they do so by giving the nukes to one of their hundreds of terrorists groups which do their bidding.

In such a case, bye bye Tehran.

Among the Muslim majority nations, I have a feeling that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are much more likely to use nuclear weapons when compared to Iran. Right now, all the attention is focused on Iran and North Korea, which I think is a wrong move.
Why Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to use nuclear weapons and against whom? I'm sure that nuclear weapons will not be applied. If the war is only conventional weapons.

The super-powers are more careful with the nukes. The same can't be said about rogue nations such as Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Imagine the scenario when the rulers of these nations are overthrown in a coup, and replaced with Islamist radicals.

I always though and believed that the US government had a hand in making facebook all because they want to spy on us. Facebook bought whatsapp and now they can spy on us even more.

I remember that deal between FB and WA. FaceBook purchased Whatsapp for a whooping $19 billion, which was many times the valuation made by the market researchers. Perhaps this was the reason behind it.

These days I naturally assume anyone occupying a church of any sort is a nonce and it's up to them to disprove this.

The churches (of all denominations) have historically provided refuge to all sort of deviants, including pedophiles and rapists. In British Colombia, the native people still remember the church-run residential schools for indigenous children, where the kids were subjected to all sort of sexual abuse.
