2121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for Airdrops: A bad precedence on: May 03, 2018, 08:31:32 PM
I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents.  Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.

Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens.

It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.

If as a community we do not say no to this,  then it would become the norm.
Such airdrops should be ignored, plus we need to draw the attention of other people to the danger of participation in them. I think if everyone does this, then this practice will not spread.
2122  Other / Archival / Re: So many Bounties-Which one is trusted? on: May 02, 2018, 09:52:10 PM
If you're looking for a rewarding bounty or even to participate in any ico, then visit the Whitelist of that company. From there you can get more information about the project.
The council is good, but when you are considering dozens of projects, it is very time-consuming.
2123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion on token airdrops? on: May 02, 2018, 09:50:15 PM
I have not participated in airdrops for a long time. But recently the Throne forcibly sent me his tokens to the purse  Grin about 5$  : Grin
2124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 69 ETH, What to do? on: May 02, 2018, 09:47:25 PM
69 ETH is rather big money so my recommendation will be to split it in top-10 altcoins (for ex., 50% of ETH), also you can change 20% of ETH in BTC and hold other part of ETH
It might be right to invest some of the funds in the competitors of the ETH. For example NEO and EOS.
2125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is this the end of crypto? on: May 02, 2018, 09:45:34 PM
I think there are two types of investors in cryptocurrency, long-term investors who really believe in this technology, and investors who just join the game of folatilitas. So I believe the market capitalization will return to its highest point.
The irony is that long-term investors make a profit from these second.
2126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: encourage others to crypto on: May 02, 2018, 09:43:15 PM
Yes I will encourage them, I have already introuduce a lot of my friends to the crypto currency world
You are lucky. I invited several friends to this sphere, but none of them even seriously began to study what I told them about. On the other hand, it's good, I would have some responsibility in case of their failures.
2127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in ICO on: May 02, 2018, 09:39:06 PM
Before investing, study the project well. Tired of these many scam projects, which in the aftermath of the time has become very much. With a successful ICO selection, you can easily increase your investment! The main thing to remember is that buying into an ICO is an investment in a company more than into a currency.
I agree with you, so it's important to watch what the company does. If it is a profitable business from the real sector, I will not invest in it. For the reason that in the real sector a long payback period and a crypto currency will make a biger profit at this distance.
2128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which country is heaven for crypto traders and Exchangers? on: May 02, 2018, 09:35:55 PM
I think these countries now do not exist and will not exist. The ideal country is where this activity is legal and not taxed. None of the existing states (from developed countries) can establish such conditions.
2129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can market go down now? on: May 02, 2018, 09:31:46 PM
It's obvious that such a situation can happen at any second, so today there are a very large number of forecasts that the market should begin to grow, but we should never rule out the possibility that the market can go down at any second, because today the market is very depend on the news.
If regulators announce some tough actions, then the market will very quickly react with a fall. Actually, a lot depends on the regulators.
2130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you afraid of hackers? on: May 02, 2018, 09:30:00 PM
I'm afraid of hackers, but sometimes I think about the fact that the loss from their actions could push me to something new. However, this does not prevent me from being careful and try not to give hackers a chance.
2131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty campaign - waste of time or great passive income? on: May 02, 2018, 09:25:33 PM
"Hidden" advertising of the project  Grin
On the topic I can say that the profit from the bounty campaigns is small if you do this not all day. There are exceptions, but stable work or investments or other activities are more useful in terms of generating income.
2132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC to receive bounty rewards. on: May 02, 2018, 09:22:24 PM
Nobody likes KYC (and I do not see any reason to spend it for bounty hunters), but companies are trying to protect themselves from all possible legal problems, so they are often too tough on this issue. I try not to participate in campaigns where KYC is mandatory.
2133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you guys pay Taxes for profit? on: May 02, 2018, 09:14:09 PM
nope, depending on where you live because each country has its own rules, and for myself there is no such regulation in my country, but if needed I will do for my love cryptocurrency.

In my country this issue is also not regulated at the moment, but even if it were regulated, I would avoid paying taxes.

2135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins You Think will Grow on: April 29, 2018, 09:13:47 PM
As the industry changes day from day. our views as to what coins will grow in long term seem to change.
many thought XRG was it in December, then it was Tron, then people thought less

so anyways
your ideas of 5 good coins you think will grow for 2018?
Privacy and Alt Coins

I am still thinking NEO.
But I like to hear from everyone else. as new ideas help to research other coins.

more feed back the better.
ETH, ADA, NEO, EOS, Waves - smart contracts are something that is very much in demand and will develop rapidly.
2136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO. Buy or not? on: April 29, 2018, 09:08:08 PM
I started buying NEO for about three weeks ago. Naturally do not regret it. And I think that now it is still profitable to invest in NEO.
2137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: April 29, 2018, 09:04:36 PM
In my opinion, many times the risk of the ICO is even lower than the purchase of altcoin, so most of the time I will choose to invest in the ICO project instead of investing in altcoin.

You are right and the market now has a lot of coins that have already cost a lot, but now they can be bought cheaply.
2138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: hold or sell? help me on: April 29, 2018, 09:01:33 PM
Currently I own a lot of altcoin, I bought them at ico. My account is being downgraded several times. There are many people who say bitcoin will continue to decrease, so altcoin prices also decreased compared to USDT. So now, should I sell them and wait for the price to buy back? Give me advice  Sad Sad
there is no one right answer to this question.
In general the best strategy is to hold till you are in profit but then there is question how much of a profit is enough and when to sell.

I think that he bought coins (if he is an investor, not a speculator) not to sell them, but in order to wait for the implementation of the project. So I think he should continue to participate in the project and hold coins.
2139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you even read whitepaper bro? on: April 29, 2018, 08:59:13 PM
I do not read whitepaper, because I only participate in the bounty and do not invest in ICO.
It would be better if you checked the white paper. After all, losing time with participation in a bad project is also offensive.
2140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people try to create their own coins? on: April 29, 2018, 08:57:39 PM
There are so many coins, but many of them just a copy of anothers. Why they waste their time for nothing? Grin
There is a big difference in who owns this copy  Wink
