What a match Leicester vs United was... Although United played quite poorly (no surprise) but still it was goal galore and some amazing goals scored and some goals scored quickly. It was full of entertainment. I am sure many would be watching those highlights again like me.

United were very poor. They made on mistakes, allowed their opponent space and that's what led to goals. Leicester have now won thrice in a row against United including 1 FA cup match.

R. Firmino too was another phenomenal player in the match, somehow getting to place the ball just right in the net and got a hat-trick. 3 points safely bagged.

Firmino knew his job and role on the pitch and he was at right position at right point of time and scored easy goals. Mo Salah and Mane were also good but I think Mo Salah contributed today very well. The pass to Mane from him leading to first goal was exquisite and the goal from him dancing around the defenders and just curling the ball past Ben Foster was amazing. Also Ben Foster saved lot of his curlers otherwise he would also be having a hat trick.

I think PSG are very likely to win the International 10 tournament at this stage. They have been consistent performer and have thrashed all their opponents. Their level and coordination is on another level compared to all other teams. They have been surprised by some of the teams in some rounds but they have done well to make a comeback and win.

Right now we have Team Secret waiting in lower bracket final for the winner of Team Spirit and Invictus gaming.

Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea would it be an easy bet at the moment?
I personally don't doubt the quality of the teams that play away except United, maybe the chance is a draw or United but vice versa.

It's safe to not bet on United in this gameweek. Leicester have been out of form but we all do know how well they are as a team and they can turn on their performance switch on at any point of time. Also United will be missing Varane and also Maguire also doubtful for the game due to calf injury. I would say it could go either way. United might have some chance if they striker early and get in some goals to defend. I would rather sit out than bet on this one.

I think they are gonna score some goals. I predict Maupay to score some as well tomorrow. So odds are at 2.10x for Brighton to win and seems like a nice bet to play on.

Brighton's points are currently level with Man United, Man City and Everton with 14 points. Norwich's fate is very different, they are in the relegation zone. Of course Norwich must take advantage of this moment to win. Norwich alone in 7 games were only able to get 1 course. But the match will take place at home to Norwich, it's Norwich's advantage to get 3 points.

Norwich lack a proper goalscorer. Pukki is a good goalscorer but they need more from him or someone better who can score goals enough to win games from time to time and keep on getting points out of easy matches. But right now, neither they are able to score much nor are they able to defend properly. Brighton on other hand are performing very well right now and have the perfect team coordination and that's why I am favouring Brighton here.

^^ Had so much fun today betting on I10 games but tomorrow is great day ahead as I am looking forward to PSG and Team Secret game. PSG are a very strong team but Team Secret also has surprised some good teams.

Quote
any predictions for the games tomorrow? can IG or VG put a stop to Team Spirit winning streak?

I think IG might have some chance putting an end to Team Spirit's run but there is nothing for sure. Team Spirit showed hell of a play in today's game.

Brighton has been scoring well at the start of the season and looks like they will do it again tomorrow against Norwich.

That's what I think as well. Brighton have been playing great and this season they are getting points as well so their hard work is being paid so far. Given the Norwich defense and Maupay, Trossard and Welbeck up there testing defense, I think they are gonna score some goals. I predict Maupay to score some as well tomorrow. So odds are at 2.10x for Brighton to win and seems like a nice bet to play on.

Pep can play Grealish or Sterling as the False 9 but one thing for sure is that City is lacking a pure striker after Aguero left. If you guys remember the match against PSG or not, but City had very good possession, they are able to complete the final pass into the box, but there was hardly anyone to finish it in the back of the net. That's very unfortunate as Ferran will be about for a month and a half. But I don't see Sterling or Grealish or Foden as a good enough False 9. So, the wingers will play a huge role in the coming matches.

I think they have a good striker - Gabriel Jesus who can do a good job and making the finish. I don't understand why Guardiola is playing him on wings. He can use Grealish and Sterling on wing and Jesus as a striker. Earlier last season I guess, when Aguero was injured Gabriel Jesus played as a striker and scored some good amount of goals. Its the back line and mid who has been scoring most of the goals for them while their offense line puts pressure inside and well somehow they are getting the job done. In the end, that 3 points matters isn't it.

bookies making bank thanks to Team Spirit upset today...what was the moneyline for Spirit? anyone knows?

I capitalized on that. I put a small stake on Spirit to win against OG at 2.65x odds . I was kinda surprised with how much dominant they were against the former champions but seriously they really played a dominant game.

Have my money on T1 to win against Vici now.  Cheesy

Tottenham is still good and able to beat them because they have few quality players those are not performing as they need to do, but they can change matches any time with their ability and quality of this game.

Yes, they have lot of good and capable players who can link up very well. We saw last season how well Son and Kane were linking up so nicely to perform for Spurs same time last season. I think they still can link up very well. It can snap up at any point of time and any match. I am very glad that after Nuno appointment Lucas Moura is getting some playing time as well and Delle Alli also. I think Spurs should win this one.

Any good market suggestion for this last one coming up in couple of minutes- PSG vs Virtus Pro? PSG seems to be kinda dominant throughout so far and seem likes they are gonna take this one easily as well. Taking PSG is not of much value so any suggestions? Plan is to gonna go low on this one.

Second time in a row they screw me over. I'll stay away from Secret now. They'll probably go on and win the whole thing without dropping a single game  Lips sealed

Actually IG had them at one point in second round but after that what a recovery they made. so many less mistakes and IG were totally clueless. Really too much dominant.

If someone is not a good strategist, he should be a good learner or a good listener. Ole at first is always not willing to try new things, and when he does, he'll do it in odd ways. I think why he is still eased is that there is no sign of threat from the management. Manchester United currently has bunches of good players but poor management.

I don't think Sancho who is an England national team player needs such a long time as 1yr to blend to an Epl team. With the way Manchester United is now, it looks asive no player has blended with the pattern of play. It's not player problems, it is a coaching problem. This crop of players can restore Manchester United glory only if the coach will agree.

Yeah Ole is not that good manager but you have also have to see that some of the players are also not playing good. That's why I wouldn't put all the blame on Ole. Players also need to step up inside the game and stop making mistakes but they keep on doing same and same. No matter what manager they brings in they will suffer unless they stop making mistakes. Watch some of their matches, you will find how much mistakes they made. Check the Villa game, by the end of the highlights video, I am sure you will be saying that yeah Villa could have scored more.

Sancho also haven't made much international appearances and Southgate puts others before him. Sancho needs some time to adapt the style and tbh there is lot of pressure on him.

Yesterday, PSG.lgd vs T1 was really something. Lost my bet on PSG to win the second map and make it quick but T1 really put up a fight. But had to put some good stake on the line on 3rd to recover that back.

That fight was epic, I have never seen all 10 players getting killed and then buying back in the same fight.

I was watching that, second map was it? Didn't had any idea what's going on but sure liked it lol. T1 vs Alliance today should go T1 very likely hoping the way they played PSG yesterday.

Looks like Ole will have to go to Sir Alex Ferguson's house to learn how to handle a lot of star players. I just feel sorry for a lot of potential players not playing. It was the same as slowly killing play ability. Ole should have priorities, and be able to divide his time among his players. Just look at Ole's many purchases that look useless, I even saw Van de Beek's face it felt like he wanted to cry when, Fred entered the substitution, then if I'm not mistaken he also wanted to leave Man United immediately.
Ole doesn't need to go to Sir Alex Ferguson's House as he is mostly available at Stadium, so he can learn from him, but I am feeling he is not good learner because he is spending funds and bringing players but completely fail to settle combination which is very important for team and win. He is not good strategist already have some good number of world-class players but unable to handle this all and having very poor results now it's time for bringing some good results but still team is doing very poor against team like Aston Villa and Injury hit Everton.

There have been few signings under him which went great like Wan Bissaka, Bruno Fernandes, now Ronaldo, Cavani. I think there will always be risk when you buy a player but they have made mistakes when buying players with big tags. I think Jadon Sancho is still adjusting and it will take a time for him. Give him a year at minimum to adjust and make space into team. He is decent but not that special strategist IMO to manage Manchester United.

Next game is very crucial for them as they face Leicester City who have been somewhat a title contender in the PL race for quite some years now. It should be an interesting contest.

We are going to start the week by the Watford vs Liverpool game this Saturday. The favourite side to win here is Liverpool of course. Liverpool are the second in the table now even though they got draws in their last two games. But Watford have been doing not good. They lost four of their seven EPL games so far. Maybe they defeated Liverpool by 3-0 here in the last season. But there are a completely different Liverpool this season and I believe they will win.

Yes, this match looks reliable (in terms of adding to a multi bet) I included it on my shortlist for this weekend. On the one hand, Liverpool is a clear favorite, but on the other hand, the break for the national teams in this pair had a stronger effect on it, plus this is an away match, so the odds are not so low:‍
8,40 - 5,40 - 1,36
I think that already from the middle of the season, such favorable odds will be encountered much less often.

Watford has just now changed their manager as well so I think it would take some time to pick some good form but for now I think given the form Liverpool are in and how Watford are right now at this point, I think Liverpool are gonna win this one. Doesn't matters if its away or home, reds will prevail.

However, there are some players to look out for like Sarr and Dennis who could become a quick threat in counters but I think Liverpool defense could handle that one.

I think Newcastle can still sign a coach and some players in the upcoming transfer market but yes, targeting to finish the season in the top 5-10 is not that easy. Newcastle just need to stay out of the relegation zone and with new ownership at the moment then I think it will be easy at least Newcastle can stay in the EPL basically that's enough. It still takes time for Newcastle to succeed, even though they are now the richest team, but there are rules that are applied regarding financial fair play, which of course, quick changes cannot be made haphazardly.

Totally agree on this^^, I actually forgot that Newcastle right now is in relegation zone. No doubt that they would sack Steve Bruce soon as the current things are not where owners want the Newcastle to be in. This season for sure their target should be stay out of relegation zone. I think they are gonna sign some good staff and decent players to get the job done for Newcastle this season. I think major changes would go down from next season for Magpies.

Manchester United continues to suffer injuries, but they are awaiting a couple of crucial big matches. Rafael Varane will be sidelined for 'a few weeks' with a groin injury, while Harry Maguire remains sidelined due to a calf problem. It's alarming that Manchester United players are getting injured one by one, if such a trend continues, I'll miss watching Manchester United games. As long as Ole survives these tough games, it's his good luck as a manager.

Check Ole's history in Manchester United. he had already had several series of poor results, and just when he was expected to be fired, a series of tough matches were coming his way. it happened that then his team started to win, Man City, PSG etc...
he seems to be at his worst when he has a complete lineup at his disposal and a slightly weaker team against themselves, where wins is practically obligatory and expected.
that is Ole.

Good tabs on Ole. I can confirm that what you are saying is all right. His job was at edge two years in a row and both at the same time Nov- December and he survived through all that. Right now United board have full confidence on Ole as a manager and with some of the staff receiving contract renewal, he and also some of his assistant managers are about to receive contract renewals as well as some credible sources pointed last week. (have to look for that but I am sure of the news)

I think problem is not the manager its about some players mentality. They need to push themselves a bit more hard as they represent one of the finest and popular club in English history.

Donny van de Beek,

According to journals here in Italy he can be also a target for Juventus but is he good?

He never plays, the last good match he did is 2 years ago in the Champions League...

Well actually that depends. He hasn't played for United that much and others players in that position have made things hard for him as they are playing well enough to keep their place in starting. Juventus on other could use his services and also I think Van de Beek will be open to other teams as well as he also wants some chances to play.

I think Juventus should buy him if United lets him leave for a bid that Juventus think is his value as of now.

Ownership has changed, suddenly the club has become rich. But their change must be slow and according to plan. They suddenly got a lot of money. They have to come up with a specific plan. Spending the money, on the right player has to be on the team. Money cannot be wasted. We can look at the Arsenal club as an example. Despite being rich enough, they are not able to perform as expected. They have bought players unnecessarily. By which the team is not getting much benefit.

It is very likely that Steve Bruce will be sacked. I wouldn't be surprised if it happens before this upcoming gameweek. Lot of things are going to change and I guess they have already started the work now.

There are lot of examples but I find Barcelona as the best example. They invested their money into players that didn't contributed them well enough into seasons and it was not only one players..it is almost around 7-8 players. They are lucky that they have some young talents who I think can revive Barca again but that's another story.

@Swordsoffreedom before they can buy player’s they need a worthy coach who can get the best out of them, and if they can tempt Conte to come it’ll great for them. Also four Manutd player’s are linked to them, and while they’re fringe at the club, but given the chance to play regularly they could prove valuable signings.

Conte seems very unlikely to me. It was the same time when Madrid were also without a manager but I think he also denied that like something (don't recall properly). I think Conte is gonna take break. I am sure there are lot of high professional managers but they need a good plan to convince manager and players. It isn't an easy .. it is gonna take lot of potential candidates and lot of hours to finally come down to one.
2140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 10, 2021, 07:04:14 PM
I think Antonio Conte or Frank Lampard could be a good choice for a coach for Newcastle as both of them are currently free if I'm not wrong. We saw that Frank Lampard totally changed how Chelsea looked and built them from the ground up. So he can be a good option to build the Newcastle squad. Once Newcastle starts buying quality players, their fanbase will grow eventually no matter what. And I hope that maybe within 4 or 5 seasons, Newcastle I will be within the top 5 most valuable clubs in Premier League.
Haven't heard about this yet and it's still being talked about but some coach Antonio Conte and a few other coaches who are still as annoying as Zidane but will they want to start from the bottom and rise up for Newcastle?
One of the changes is definitely coming ahead of the transfer window the fan growth will definitely increase that must have happened because I saw on social media so enthusiastic after Newcastle was taken over by new owners, and now it's just a matter of time for this trip to be a candidate with another team.

I don't know much about Conte to Newcastle but last time I heard that Conte wants to take a break after he left Inter Milan and I think he is gonna stay like that for a while now. Can understand Newcastle having the interest on hiring some reputed managers but it would be hard for them to convince them as well. Managers like Lampard or some young managers might take the job who wants to build their manager profile but I think it would take time to build a team with good and experienced players and as well as good staff and reputed manager as well.
