2121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 24, 2023, 02:36:06 PM
Match fixing is almost Nil in my view. Because of the punishment given to the players caught into match fixing have made the cricketers not to think of it. Even in the lower leagues it is very low, because every team wants to reach the next level. Losing matches for money would surely downline the team and the same could affect players. Even now there are ball tampering and other tricks followed, which isn't easily found.
Nil? I disagree. Mafia gangs are still fixing certain bets in matches across different formats though their profits have definitely decreased over time due to their methods getting exposed to the public.

I don't think match fixing will ever completely go away, but I hope it continues decreasing over time in all sports.
2122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is easier to make bets on? on: February 24, 2023, 12:37:56 PM
Anyone saying that one of those sports is more predictable than the other need to improve their brainpower since both sports are some of the most unpredictable sports in the world frankly speaking.

Also, asking for a platform where football predictions are completely accurate is silly op. You clearly sound like a naive newbie in the gambling world.
2123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another story telling how billionaires hate bitcoin? - read over quick coffee. on: February 24, 2023, 06:15:47 AM
Having a different opinion and point of view doesn't make anyone an idiot.  He has proven himself as his strategy of investment makes him a billionaire so he might think that he has the authority to express his belief in Bitcoin and blockchain.

The person may be uninformed about Bitcoin and blockchain but that does not make him less intelligent than us.  Remember he has his own specialty and he proves his way and strategy are enough to make him a billionaire.
What the heck are you going on about? He is definitely an idiot when referring to his knowledge of cryptocurrencies and so many posters have already pointed that out. He clearly needs to learn more about BTC.

Honestly, billionaires like him usually say shit about BTC in order to buy the dip and sell when it rises later on which is a clever strategy.

Anyway, the debate has ended now, with Akash Chopra receiving egg in his face and searching for the next individual who will make him famous. At least one good thing has come out of the entire debate. The selectors didn't had any option other than to drop Rahul.
Don't really care about the entire Chopra-Prasad crap to be honest, but I feel sad to see Rahul getting screwed because of all this even though he totally deserves to get kicked from the test and ODI formats.

I have always liked his calm demeanor and he has been involved in very few controversies which is why he doesn't deserve to be disrespected like crazy just because of his bad performances in recent times.

He deserves many chances only in the T-20 format due to his experience and shot variety.
2125  Economy / Gambling / Re: What's your favorite sportsbook and why? on: February 23, 2023, 05:32:36 PM
Apart from Drake, they've also extended their partnership with UFC recently. So that probably brings in more hype and more gamblers for the platform.
As @Peeps Place mentioned above, it isn't advisable for US citizens to try to use VPNs in order to gamble on Stake since I heard a couple of bad stories related to such stuff. It's better to stick to popular FIAT books instead.

I would recommend Betfair and Pinnacle, from crypto bookies Stake and Cloudbet.
Betfair isn't open to all countries and Pinnacle requires KYC though both are great recommendations. Also, Cloudbet isn't completely trustworthy due to some negative accusations against them.

There are far better options like Sportsbet, Rollbit, Duelbits etc in comparison.

Possessing money doesn't always equate to your level of intelligence and this guy is basically a great example to prove my statement. I respect his opinion, but I completely disagree with it for various reasons.

There will always be haters of BTC, but there will always be supporters too like us which is all that matters at the end of the day.
2128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 23, 2023, 06:11:01 AM
BCCI need to get into this issue and come up with a conclusion to avoid such conversation that openup more incidents that have taken place in the past which is not good for the cricket.
This kind of crap usually happens behind closed doors which is why I am surprised to see these guys slugging it out in public. BCCI are probably fuming like crazy because of all this drama.

Akash Chopra and KL Rahul are like Ron Jeremy and John Holmes of Indian cricket. They are legends in their own right.
Ron Jeremy - Legend? You do realise that you just praised a pathetic rapist and sex offender, don't you? Think!
2129  Economy / Gambling / Re: What's your favorite sportsbook and why? on: February 22, 2023, 03:41:11 PM
My favorite sportsbook at the moment is Sportsbet.io hands down thanks to their boosted odds, zero deposit and withdrawal fees, low minimum bet, betbuilder, decent customer support and great UI.

My favorite betting exchange is Fairlay since their liquidity is decent and there are a wide variety of markets available though I despise their UI and the withdrawal fees(BTC) are pretty high.

Hoping for more crypto betting exchanges with decent liquidities in the future.
2130  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 - #1 VIP Crypto Casino on: February 22, 2023, 02:10:18 PM
Time is almost up for posting your predictions for the February Bitcasino prediction contest people. Random reminder!

Personally, I feel that BTC will continue rallying closer to the $26K mark before this month ends despite the increasing tensions between USA and Russia. Am not expecting a major correction anytime soon.
2131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 22, 2023, 06:13:39 AM
I really don't know why the Sportsbooks want to allow betting on these matches, where there is no oversight from the ICC or the law enforcement authorities. Cricket already has a match fixing problem and these little known leagues make it much worse than it should actually be. Here is one of the recent examples:

https://emergingcricket.com/news/limassol-gladiators-excluded-from-european-cricket-series-cyprus-in-match-fixing-probe/

The European Cricket Network (ECN) claims to have formed an anti-corruption unit to look in to the match fixing allegations, but I am noticing very little improvement. Irrespective of whether there is improvement or not, I would urge everyone to stay out from making bets on these matches. BTW, check this article as well:

https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/jaipur/two-arrested-as-police-bust-cricket-betting-ring/articleshow/76882916.cms?from=mdr
Sportsbooks don't always research markets thoroughly before adding them leading to losses for them after which they quickly terminate those markets. This logic applies to literally every sport out there.

Also, some of these boards themselves are involved in corruption scandals. Match-fixing will never completely go away, but it is decreasing slowly over time in all sports.

Good stuff op!
2133  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sherbet.com 🍭 - #1 Social Casino & Sportsbook - PVP - $500 Deposit Bonus 🤑 on: February 21, 2023, 05:36:32 PM
Interesting name Sherbet. I felt that the ANN presentation was top-notch just like many other posters along with the site design and UI which look premium and professional. Registration was a breeze.

Checked the casino games out and I didn't find anything that suits my taste since I am not really interested in slots. Don't care about NFTs either, but the sports betting section looks appealing and the odds themselves are decent.

The FAQ section needs to answer more queries though(Minimum deposit, minimum withdrawal etc). All the best op!
2134  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 - #1 VIP Crypto Casino on: February 21, 2023, 02:07:24 PM
so if you were thinking that the BTC price "will most likely stay above the $20K mark" above the $20K, why did you post "18882 EUR" in the thread? Smiley I mean, I was doing the same things, but I'm still not sure, why? Smiley
I don't understand what you are trying to say here. 18,882 EUR is around $20,126 currently which implies that the price is above the $20K mark. No confusion here. I mentioned that my second prediction would be way more optimistic earlier.

Looks like I was thinking correctly back then because BTC has been rallying consistently in recent times.
2135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 21, 2023, 12:23:04 PM
Considering his struggle against Indian bowlers, it's hardly a bad news for Australia. In fact, I would say it's bad news for India as he was a walking wicket.

Head did okay so it makes sense that he'll continue at the top with his attacking mindset. Green should be fit for the next match so this is good news for the Aussies.
I was thinking the same. Warner has been out of form lately and he is competing with Rahul these days when it comes to scoring the least amount of runs in every match. Both of them are way too inconsistent these days.

Head and Green aren't particular dangerous. I feel that Australia will put more emphasis on their spinners in the upcoming matches.
2136  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: February 21, 2023, 05:59:59 AM
So, the customers have the upper hand since if they are unsatisfied with any platform's Terms of Service, in the first place, they can freely choose other platforms. That should also be applicable to any casino you are prejudiced.
You are missing the point. Some crypto gambling sites don't specifically state in the TOS how they can twist some of the terms to their own benefit. This is how they use the TOS as a shield to justify their stance.

Majority of the gamblers don't even bother reading the TOS before signing up which is why it's sad to see some sites take advantage of the TOS in such an unfair manner.
2137  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ weeddaddy.io - New Crash Game - Weekly Giveaway | Free Faucet ✨ on: February 20, 2023, 06:19:50 PM
Just found out about this site recently and checked it out and I felt that it looked already, but the negative feedback helped me decide to not invest in this site. The high wagering requirements are a huge turn-off.

Also, the title of this site seriously sucks. Am expecting it to shut down completely pretty soon thanks to these reasons.
2138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: February 20, 2023, 01:22:35 PM
But, you cannot ignore the rumors that India pitches are specially curated to suit spin and low bounce against non-Asian teams. When Dhoni was captaining and Australia was playing similar 4 test series in 2013, there were rumors like he was emailing officials for curating pitches for India team suitable. If the last 2 matches lasted for 4 or 5 days then we cannot weigh those rumors.
Rumors? Really? People like to gossip and spread rumors about literally everything, but most of them are false. Ask the media if you don't trust me since they are the foremost experts in this area.

When the pitch is prepared with more cracks for suiting spin attack, you cannot expect high scores in 2nd innings so result is possible inside 3rd day.
How the heck did you jump to this conclusion? Would just like to say that the driver matters more than the car, weather etc.
2139  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: February 20, 2023, 01:13:28 PM
There is nothing wrong since they have the rights.
You do realise that several new and popular crypto gambling sites take advantage of these rights in order to try and delay/negate player winnings, don't you? They use the TOS as cover for their dirty tactics.

Yet, they justify the casino requests since they have personally obliged the ToS. So does, if they are also not condoning it.
And this is exactly why some crypto sites take advantage of the TOS as I mentioned above. Think!
2140  Economy / Economics / Re: Anyone here into passive investing (of their time)? on: February 20, 2023, 06:55:13 AM
BTC HODLING is easily one of the biggest examples of great passive investments when luck is on your side. You can earn decent amounts by purchasing BTC when the market is bearish and selling it when the market is bullish.

This logic applies to most cryptocurrencies out there which is why it's actually possible to get rich over time using this strategy. This is what I have been doing and earned decent profits so far.

However, as some of the posters above mentioned, invest only what you are willing to lose.
