Curious Question about using Local P2P VS Exchange in-app P2P service
which one we feel say dey better? In terms of convenience, security and assurance, user experience?
They are both good but just do the one that is convenient for you. For instance say you cannot trade yet personally on all those trusted P2P apps and you don't have a guide to help you, no need to do a trial by error method with your coins, you can just contact some trusted members here in our small community that run exchange services for people, like cryptopreneurbrainboss, pokapoka etc... they can help you exchange your coins safely without you needing to try something you do not understand first.
2122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be used to clean environment and reduce waste?? on: October 03, 2022, 02:25:10 PM
For long I read bitcoin isn't environment friendly and the cost of bitcoin mining is exorbitant.
This is the main reason why many organisations and governments are criticizing bitcoin.
There are energy and environmental concerns involved with mining bitcoins but any organisation and governments that hides behind those reason alone as their major reason for not allowing bitcoin are merely being hypocritical. I have always said that prior to bitcoins we have always had environmental concerns and then rather than criticizing the environmental friendliness and mining cost of bitcoin they can seek to profer proper solutions to address these issues or if they are without idea seek to adopt ideas like what OP has suggested and make it work.

Manchester United was not bad in performance but were poor in mindset and approach.
The Manchester United coach during the full-time interview attributed his team's loss to lack of confidence and belief and I quite agree. The way the Manchester city side plays can be very demoralizing and moral shifting for any team, and I think it kind of intimidated Manchester united players in the first half. it was inevitable in this game  that Haalaand was going to score, the question was how many goals? Manchester city just showed us that just as they can score many goals against small teams they can also do the same and score many goals against the big teams.

I personally was rooting for Manchester United to win Manchester city so that they can get off the tail of arsenal but it seems Manchester United could not do the job and arsenal has to buckle up not to lose our first position.
2124  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If I get heart Attack that is because of BITCOIN on: October 02, 2022, 09:58:11 AM
Hi guys I think I might have heart Attack...
If you die by heart attack because of bitcoin, it is nobody's fault but yours. It is not even the fault of bitcoin itself because you are not the only person that it has put in the condition of worrying. Other people like myself are managing our situations, dealing with it and consoling ourselves with the fact that we are not the only persons affected and better days will come. You better find a way to sort yourself out or seek assistance/help from someone who can.

Arsenal 1:1 Tottenham HT 40mins
I guess it wouldn't be in Derby without goals from both teams. from what I can observe from the first half the time I just comfortable sitting back and soaking up the pressure from the arsenal attackers while looking to get that link up between Harry Kane, Richarlison and Son. It doesn't seem like so much of a good tactics to me as arsenal is a very attacking team, they should be more attacking even though they were able to get a goal for one of the link up between them that caused a penalty.

2126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 30, 2022, 07:28:30 PM
40th minute 3-0 already for Bayern Munich and i think its already over for Bayer Leverkusen.
I am most excited for Sadio Mane who it seems like the international break has favoured with a goal finally after a very long while in the Bundesliga. His critics can finally give him a break as he has disappointed them in this game by scoring. I'm fairly sure that if he's not substituted out in the second half that he will score another goal. if it happens like that, that is he scores another goal, I believe that will be a kickstart to more goals from him for Bayern Munich before the world cup.
2127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what is the connection between web3 and BTC on: September 30, 2022, 06:25:20 PM
what is the connection between web3 and BTC
A connection between these two (web3 & btc) is that they both apply the same mechanism for achieving transparency and security which is the blockchain technology making it decentralized. web3 has the potential of putting companies that serve as mediators to people who access the internet and stop these companies from forcefully showing adverts that you did not ask for and making money through it, plus they will no longer be able to completely monitor your activities since your connection to the internet will become direct and not through them.
2128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Woman Abandons 4-year-old Child In Gambling Shop As Collateral After Huge Losses on: September 30, 2022, 04:52:29 PM
While some people are looking for children of their own, some others do not value what they have.
My assessment is that this is simply a case of irresponsible parenting and problem gambling. How do you think about this?
This is the height of it, making the innocent child suffer for her own irresponsibility. The child should be taking into government care and such a mother if found should be arrested and taking to rehabilitation. I wonder what her intention was, maybe that the child should be held by the gambling shop to repay the equivalent of the money lost in labor.

There are reports that Kieran Tierney and Zinchenko will be available for tomorrow’s game. I’m now concerned about who starts.
Kieran Tierney IMO will be a better option to start as well against spurs because he has better speed than Zichenko and may be able to disrupt Son if he attempts to break away with one of those his runs. I think Saliba and Gabriel can do well containing Harry Kane too. Added to the advantage of the return of Partey in our midfield, our attackers who have been superb this season didn't play much during the international break and are well rested. They will definitely be able to upset the Tottenham defense with quick runs. For us to control the game we need to score first.

I believe say everybody get their presidential candidate wey he go vote for, the Yoruba's will vote for Tinubu ,while the northern might vote for Atiku,
I nor like this Logic as you wan use style carry ethnicity enter this presidential matter. if you want to use the logic that everybody will be voting for people from their ethnic group, it means the vote in the north will be divided amongst Atiku, Kwankwanso and Shettima the vice to  Tinubu. I think however that many Nigerians have moved past this mentality and in the coming election will vote for competence over ethnic relationship.

The topic making wave on the internet yesterday concerning the election was about the whereabout of the APC presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu and why he was absent from the signing of the peace agreement by all candidates. What do you people have to say about this?

Topic Discussion: Ghana set to catch up to Nigeria and Kenya in terms of crypto adoption: Chainalysis
A new government in Nigeria will put some spark back in our hope flame for the country. Even with the stylish policies against crypto for here, Nigerians still dey run am dey top the chart. Any developing policy that favors cryptocurrency in Nigeria generally when a new government takes over will send the number of Nigerians in crypto further higher than any other African country will be able to catch up to, Na wetin i believe be that.
2131  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My crypto journey begins today on: September 29, 2022, 10:41:32 PM
I put it to you that as you are willing to use the search option both here in the forum and on Google to search for materials regarding cryptocurrency you should also be willing and prepared to actually read through those materials and not merely skim through them. There are a lot of materials on cryptocurrency currently and the ones you may end up going through maybe may be very huge and extensive even more than what you have bargained to read so you must prepare your mind from the start.

This new path that you have chosen to thread requires a lot of commitments hard work, you should be ready.
2132  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: In future when crypto is everywhere how will we protect ourselves? on: September 29, 2022, 08:54:37 PM
As we move further towards adoption, the technology will evolve and become better and we'll see safer and better security measures for people who own cryptocurrency. I say this because if you consider other financial institutions like the regular banks you have, you would agree with me that the level of sophistication security-wise that they have today, is not the same level they had some years ago. Having faced some security challenges over the years the regular banks although not yet perfect, have become more developed to address security issues.

When bitcoin goes mainstream definitely some people will first be victims to theft but I believe that in the long run any security challenge that will arise will also be addressed and tackled. Your target as of right now should be not to be among those first persons that will fall victim or even fall victim at all when bitcoin goes mainstream.
2133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Favorite Misconceptions About Bitcoin on: September 29, 2022, 08:39:36 PM
Another popular misconception about bitcoin is that, owning any amount of bitcoin can make you wealthy. To benefit properly from bitcoin and the market fluctuations you need to have a substantial amount of bitcoin to properly gain from the market when the value of bitcoin goes up. If you have very little fractions and you are holding on to them without planning on how to get more I'm sorry to say but that bitcoin cannot make you rich or wealthy in that case.
2134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 29, 2022, 06:20:30 PM
Bayern = @1.34

Bayer 04 Leverkusen = @7.40

it looks like bayern is like the old days so they will win easily, when in reality this season they are bad.
Maybe the Bayern we saw before the international break will not be the same Bayern we will see now that they have all returned freshly from the break. Their coach was fairly confident during the press conference that his team will win against Leverkusen. Eyes will be Sadio Mane again in the game to see if he will finally hit the goal after failing to score in almost five games. Senegal also enjoyed victory in the international break so maybe that can be a booster for his performance.
2135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you change your mind on gambling ? on: September 29, 2022, 12:32:39 PM
You are a core gambler,
if I am a core gambler it means that I will always find a way to gamble regardless of any situation that I am in.

or will you ignore the law...
Since when has the government declaration of an activity as illegal dissuaded people from being involved in them. Although the government declaring gambling as an illegal activity will affect the number of people in it it will not entirely discourage everyone as currently there are even some illegal activities that people still indulge in regardless of the penalty.
2136  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do Your Own Research - What Does it really mean on: September 28, 2022, 06:26:13 PM
Doing your own research (DYOR) will be much easier if you know what exactly to research about. Because just checking about a project on Google can also be called research, but not deep research. As you are quick to add a disclaimer to your financial advice and tell whoever is listening to do their own research, also try to point out some key areas for the person to research on as a way of further assisting them to make a good financial decision.
2137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin thoughts on: September 28, 2022, 04:52:51 PM
Friend of mine that works for one of the biggest hedge funds tells me the BTC is going to zero value against the USD
This is another case of an individual who because of their position or how much they think they know about the financial market think they can give accurate prediction about the future price of bitcoin. A prediction stating that the price will get to 17k, or even closer to 10k holds more water than saying the price is getting to zero value. The future is bright for bitcoin regardless of how the present situation looks.
2138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 28, 2022, 03:44:42 PM
whereas when you watch Arsenal play, you see a bunch of kids fighting for a top-four finish. Using the most energy at the start of the season is not a problem, but maintaining the tempo for a longer period of time is, and this is where Manchester City edges out Arsenal.

Tottenham look more dangerous than Arsenal.
There are many young players in the arsenal squad and we have the youngest squad in the Premier League this season, perhaps the most hungry players as well who are eager to play in the champions League. Our game against Tottenham for me will be the hottest game of the weekend, will be tense definitely but I hope we can get our revenge against Tottenham for what they did to us last season stealing our opportunity to qualify for the champions League. I know many people would bet against arsenal in this game because it's a general opinion that against bigger teams arsenal tends to always loose, this is another game for us to prove people wrong.
2139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: September 28, 2022, 12:24:02 PM
I really can't believe how Portugal lost this match 1-0. They found so many goal opportunities. Jota's attempt was saved by the goalkeeper superbly. Especially Ronaldo wasted very big opportunities. If we had the young Ronaldo he would score at least one of them.
I still don't understand why the Portuguese coaches choose to start Ronaldo when they can give better opportunities to the younger players in the squad who are hungry in front to prove themselves before the world cup to boost their confidence. Ronaldo is still a great player but we all know that he's not in his prime and for Portugal, it will not be in their best interest to depend on him during the world cup. Ronaldo should still be in the squad but should have reduced playing time to give opportunity to other younger players especially since he's going into retirement soon and they will need younger players to carry the National team forward.

Senior man, make I no lie you, I give Nigerians just this last election, if nothing happen, I go commot my hand and mind for anything wey concern government and politicians. See I no go even read or listen political news again. I go just dey totally apolitical.
There are many other Nigerians like you who are on this table and just giving this last election our all, hoping that we can get it right it this time. If we don't, it will be another eight years of uncertainties. There is already a large number of Nigerians leaving the country, many more will follow if the election results is not a reflection of the people's mandate.
