2121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 6 DeFi projects to watch in 2020 🎯 on: January 24, 2021, 10:12:27 AM
The ones you have mentioned are good, Uniswap has been going great and I believe it’s one of the best we have as of today. There are other ones I think you should to your list of top Defi, and the first is Ox; the purpose behind creating Ox is to speed up and as well create a top solution for ETH’s blockchain.

Apart from Ox, other good Defi that you should do some research on includes Band Protocol, Kava, Defi yield protocol, and Ren Protocol.

I believe these ones should all be on the list of top Defi projects that anyone will invest this year.
2122  Economy / Economics / Re: Are people losing faith from centralized organizations? on: January 24, 2021, 08:57:22 AM
In my country here many people has stopped depositing money in the bank since last year because of corona virus lockdown that occurred within two months interval, I can see that the trust humans have with banking system of government has been depreciated, because instead of money kept in the money yield interest after been with bank some months the money have to depreciate due to their banking charges, so putting money in back is not helpful and humans has see a means or device that will yield positively to their money which is bitcoin investment, and I believe centralising system of money banking is no longer comfortable to people.
The problem banks have is that you lose your trust to them but you do not lose your money to them, there are still countless amount of money in banks that has no other option at all. Normally let's assume you are a business that deals with hundreds of thousands of dollars, there are so many of them, you need a loan in hundreds of thousands, there are a lot of them too and think about all those people who are way above that, people who deal with millions of dollars and even billions.

When you imagine those people, can you imagine them working with cash? That is impossible, they can't use cash and that means you have to basically just use a bank in order to carry that in a small tiny card, otherwise you would need to carry your money in a whole luggage or even few of them just to walk around, which is impossible. So poor people can remove their money from banks, but as long as huge corporations keep working with them, there won't be any problems for them.
2123  Economy / Economics / Re: Will President Joe Biden be good for business? on: January 24, 2021, 08:13:41 AM
Our hopes are high up again with expectations from the new government, will campaign promises be fulfilled? Or are we about to get something again that we didn't bargain for?
With the inauguration of Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. as the 46th president of the United States, what is to be expected in the economic world?
We should hope that he’s not going to be anything worse, and he just got into office let’s wait and see the kind of rules he’s going to put in place and the actions he will be taking from here, those are the rules that are going to help us determine what the future will be like with him as the president of the United States.

One thing with politicians is that during their campaigns they will always make huge promises to convince people to vote for them and at the end when they have been voted in, they will disappoint those that voted them, I hope his case is going to be different from this.
2124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Survey: 25% of crypto users not securing assets as well as they think on: January 23, 2021, 03:41:22 PM
Cryptocurrency hardware wallet manufacturer Ngrave released the initial results of its ongoing crypto security survey on Jan. 13. 2021. READ THE COMPLETE ARTICLE HERE: https://worldpublicityblog.com/index.php/2021/01/16/survey-25-of-crypto-users-not-securing-assets-as-well-as-they-think/
It’s normal, I even do that for some of my coins, I just store them in an exchange wallet so that I can easily sell them and withdraw them anytime I want. It all depends on what you’re really using cryptocurrency for, some of us are not ready to hold cryptocurrency that long, it can be that we are just receiving it as a payment for a work that we did, and sometimes we don’t see a reason to hold.

Only time that I secure my coins really tight is when I want to HODL for a long time, and I have a special wallet for doing that. The only time you will be getting wrong is when you’re holding in a not so secure wallet for a long time.
2125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Token on: January 23, 2021, 02:32:30 PM
You know what is the biggest scam. Some people figured out if they can provide LP for their own made up tokens versus some of the other bigger coins, they could take away a bit from other side of the stake and LP as well and just get out richer. Now this is not obviously applied in all tokens, but they could simple move money around from one made up token to another to bnb and busd to back to made up token and could make a few bucks.

I have seen people build telegram groups to make that viable and earn some high amounts, you can't make big amounts it is just 0.0000025 dollars so it Is funny amount but even that promises them some amount they can earn in the future for getting rich. I hope that never happens because the idea is definitely impossible but these are people who try to scam people a lot and everyday, so if anyone can find a method it's them.
2126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think DeFi season is going to be just like Altcoin season? on: January 23, 2021, 07:43:09 AM
It is obvious that Defi can't go even further up than what it has done all because ETH gas fee is a lot. I for example had a token that I invested during presale and now I can't sell it because ETH is too crowded, it costs over 20-30 dollars just to get it out and I am not rich enough to invest 300-400+ dollars to make it worth while, which is why I am going to just keep it unfortunately, if one day eth fee finally goes down we could do a better.

Sure there are other chains but they are not used as much as ETH is used. Which means the moment you can swap without paying 40+ dollars, that would be a great period and defi will have a huge increase, think about swaping for under 1 dollars and paying 10 cents for eth transactions, if that ever happens (at this point I doubt it) that means we could do a lot better in the future and prices of defi will increase a lot.
2127  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: January 23, 2021, 06:47:58 AM
They better reverse their decision soon while I'm still being very nice about it. Most people would have been threatening them by now and going crazy, I'm still keeping it cool and explaining everything in a professional, mature, and logical way.

Is 0.174 BTC really worth more than their reputation? Please! They are probably profiting at least 0.5-1 BTC per day right now. They are making more than enough and I don't understand why they are acting like this and aren't willing to pay out my winning amount (or at least return the full stake of my bet).
I don't think you can achieve anything by repeating the same stuff over and over again. You have already made it crystal clear that FJ scammed you, but Hhampuz and the FJ reps have explained their reasoning multiple times already which is why this is all in the past now.

The result won't change no matter how much you complain. Instead, focus your efforts on more productive and constructive stuff which is the best way to move on in my opinion. Just my 2 cents.
You can't really change his idea, he is far gone already and has been for a while. Think about it this way, dude says "Is 0.174 btc worth their reputation?" as in like if fortunejack doesn't pay him, their reputation will be gone. He doesn't even realize that we do not care, doesn't even acknowledge what we are saying, he thinks either fortunejack bows down to him or he will ruin fortunejack forever and will make them bankrupt. He thinks he has that kind of power, so it is impossible for all of us to just talk to him and make him realize that other gamblers do not care about him.

I have seen plenty of people like him who vow to destroy a casino, hell I remember game-protect which attacked every single casino out there, they all eventually stop no matter how dedicated they are, so fortunejack definitely doesn't have anything they need to fear from just one person.
2128  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your price expectations for 2021 on: January 23, 2021, 05:51:09 AM
At least 50k. That is what I am expecting. I do not think that it would be anything different for a while, it should be definitely profitable for all of us as you might expect. I mean why do people talk about a crash I will never know, just because it dropped for a while way before years ago doesn't mean that it has to do that all the time.

I believe we are going to be above 50k and stay above 50k for most of 2021, that is what I believe (I said most because we are not above it now, after we reach that we probably won't go down). So long story short we are going to be pretty awesome this year and that is what I am betting on, if we are not that great that would be something unexpected for me and I would be very upset but at the very least that would mean bitcoin will be cheaper for me to buy and I will end up buying it and drop my averages a ton.
2129  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 22, 2021, 06:42:51 PM
I have 165 entries so far.
Let's see... But actually I never have luck with such things!

That is double amount of my entries, I'm just too lazy to collect those daily entries  Grin
10 days to go to see who will be the 50 lucky winners.
I checked twitter and I saw there is someone who have more than 280 entries  Roll Eyes
Seems that this guy is getting some entries by referring others.

Thats just cool.

So far I am having 131 entries in my name. I am not sure how others are getting so many entries everyday. Referring people is so hard because there are not many platforms where people believe in such online casino's directly.  Tongue
And my friends are just nuts, all of them already have roobet accounts and well everyone is in the similar competition. Lolz.  Grin
So it's even hard to compete with each other for this raffle.

I believe by the end of 31st I will have 170+ entries and hope Roobet gives me col chance in the Top list.

Go ahead guys, be lazy and dont claim free entries.   Grin Grin Grin
I would suggest go check out crypto ad networks. In those places you have two options, if you want the free one that means you will have to visit a website for 60 seconds and for each website you visit you will get "points" and in return you can use these points you collect into giving your own ad, and you can put your own referral link of roobet in there which means people will watch and see roobet from your ref in order to gain points.

Or second option is simpler, you just pay for it, you give money to them and they put you on their top list and you come out on each cycle for anyone who wants to earn points and you will not be spending any time. You may think that is not a good option but I have done it multiple times and it really works, I have done it for another website but it has worked for my on my affiliate marketing and it has been a decent method.
2130  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can hit $50k? on: January 22, 2021, 05:22:16 PM
People talked about 50k so much that I am shocked it hasn't reached that point already. I have been expecting bitcoin to reach to a level where it would be at least a bit closer. It is not going to be anything easy, obviously it is going to take a long time, but I feel like it is going to end up happening one day or another.

I was just assuming it to be quicker because everybody talks about it, like literally purely talks about bitcoin being 50k over and over and over again for some reason and that would take us there for sure. In the end it didn't so far, but that doesn't mean it won't neither, it definitely will take us there eventually, we are just waiting our time. Also we have to realize, we have increase FOUR TIMES the price we were, so that is quadruple profit, and right now all we need is like 25% or so increase, which should be a lot easier.
2131  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of Bitcoin has exceeded $34,000. Is it still suitable to buy now on: January 22, 2021, 03:53:15 PM
Price going higher usually indicates that there are more buyers than sellers, and going down means there are more sellers than buyers, we all know this much right? So we have to ask ourselves questions about why it goes down and why it goes up during that process to figure out why buyers buy a lot or sellers sell a lot

For example there has been some drops recently, which means people sold, we have to ask ourselves why people sold and why we want to buy right now. The answer for me is simple, people realized that it is going to double once again, from 40k to 80k would have been incredibly hard, so instead people got out because that was an easier choice, I understand that. Why would I want to buy? Because even though it goes down, I feel like I can keep buying from lower and lower and just sell when it reaches 50k, I can wait longer than they can stay solvent.

2133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 15, 2021, 06:52:47 PM
The pressure is on coach Nash, if these trio will not work, they can easily blame the coach as Nash is not a veteran coach. So, he better do his job properly and deliver a champion for him to gain the respect from other coaches and of course for him to keep his job.

For me, I disagree. Durant, Irving, and Harden are superstars. These players will be blamed instead by most critics if they fail this year. The pressure is on those superstars as everyone is now expecting good on them. And Harden just claimed that the Rockets is not the team he can win with a championship. Expecting critics will always revive that statement once they fail.

When Miami Heat formed a big trio, Coach Erik Spoelstra didn't receive much backlash even working as a coaching staff for long compare to Steve Nash, but the blame went to their superstars instead, Lebron James, which already has lots of critics, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. The same will goes if the Nets failed to win the championship this season.

The pressure might be on Nash to even get Kyrie back on the court this season. Kyrie is complaining about the Nets and Durant is already complaining about Nash to Harden. Now Kyrie is saying he’s willing to sit out the rest of the year if need be. I think next they’ll be trying to play with no coach... Such toxic players...
Yeah I wouldn't put any pressure on Nash at all. Dude will do best he can do, I see him as a very smart coach that will do his best, however the team is filled with some weird players, Kyrie is all kinds of screwed up we all know that, dude has been talking weird for 5 years now and he has done some weird things, latest was basically saying he doesn't wanna play and get out, he literally refused to play and that's it, never heard that before anywhere in my entire life.

Harden has just forced himself on a trade, dude looks like 500 pounds on his latest games, and averaged 17 ppg in the last 4 games, even if he works really hard to work with the team, dude already pulled some nasty stuff and I do not think he would be that great, and Durant is just a bitter superstar, he has burner accounts to attack his haters, he is not strong in mind type of person. So Nash has a very very hard job and I would take missing the playoffs as a bad coaching, as long as they make it to playoffs that would be fine.
2134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 13, 2021, 05:42:44 PM
Honestly it is shocking to see wolves this bad this year, they were so good last year, I remember vividly that everyone was trying to get Adama Traore on fifa and there were newer and newer cards of him with higher ratings, basically all around fun. I guess that is not the case anymore for wolves, Everton is not horrible but wolves should have been capable of beating them. United on the other hand finally managed to catch up with the game count, and now they are leader of the league.

What a huuuge change from the start of the season, I laugh a lot thinking about how after the first 5 games people were calling for managers head and even after becoming third last year they were not convinced he is a great one, now they are the leaders so everyone suddenly loves him again. I am sure United could finish the league top 3 this year and people will still want the manager fired if the first 5 games are loss for United next year.
2135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to XRP market now that SEC is suing Ripple? on: December 24, 2020, 05:58:35 PM
By the looks of it SEC always attacks on the same thing, the "unregistered" part of the company. I hate ripple as much as anyone, I really want to see them bankrupted and ripple fully gone, however this is just a tactic by SEC to show how they have the power.

We have seen a ton of companies that got sued because they are unregistered, but the fact is, do you really register your currency? I understand that ripple the company should be registered and they are, they do a lot of business deals as well, that part is registered, but why register a currency? What should have they done? Just tell sec that they created a currency and some people are using it now? Obviously that wouldn't work and SEC is idiots to not realize that.

In all sense, I wanted Ripple to crash, this is not the reason why they should have crashed because this doesn't make sense, but good riddance in any case.

2137  Economy / Economics / Re: Jobless for 10 years still doing great because Jobs market is a joke on: November 23, 2020, 05:21:40 PM
It is true that youtube and other streaming websites have opened a new market and great opportunities but it is not easy because having to play a game professionally is not easy as you receive criticism for small mistakes and appreciation for good plays but this means you slowly lose interest in the game itself and you are now playing the game just for money and views.

I have seen great youtubers and streamers being upset about their career because they struggle to find new and refreshing content constantly and the viewers have multiple gamers to view so if you fail to upload consistently and constantly you will lose your audience.
2138  Economy / Economics / Re: Coronavirus is very harmful to fiat currencies, not bitcoin on: November 23, 2020, 04:05:00 PM
I agree that the corona virus is very harmful for fiat, because in order to recover the economy quickly several countries are printing money.
This can make the value of the fiat currency decrease, due to inflation. While the price of Bitcoin is increasing in a pandemic situation,
because many people just realized that Bitcoin is very good as a store of value.
Not just because of inflation but because even the governments are now proposing and encouraging online transactions which directly helps the crypto market because when you do online payments somewhere you will definitely see the option for bitcoins payment and you get to know about it directly or indirectly.

There are lots of people who are now into crypto trading and because of the bull run everyone is loving what they are doing because almost no major coin is going down while bitcoin keeps going up so everyone is making profits from their trading, even newbies.

Pandemic had deadly impact on our economy and a lot of lives were taken away, I feel sorry for them but we cannot deny that the pandemic made the world more digital and pushed us 10 years ahead in terms of digitalization like online education, transaction and shopping.
2139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: DEX must take over on: November 22, 2020, 04:33:49 PM
Decentralized exchanges need to take over centralized exchanges in the future, going fully decentralized is what makes more sense around crypto, centralized exchanges can be controlled by the law and government, I heard court is asking users data from centralized exchanges too, just imagine if all exchanges in crypto space are all DEXs, I know that DEX has its flaws too but it's safer than centralized exchanges
I do not think that they "must" take over. They could take over because they look like they are pretty good but the fee structure kills it for now. Uniswap for example is better than any other exchange I have ever seen yet when it comes to exchanging via uniswap you pay a lot of fee and that is why it may not get too much traction in the future.

Why it became huge was the liquidity providing, when a lot of bad coins or low level coins figured out a way to sell their coins and get out of it, people did that at first and got rid of all the useless coins they had, sometimes even for a loss because of the fees but they still wanted to get rid of it. That caused the initial launch to have a lot of volume, now it is much lower than that but still quite high. I assume if fee's could be managed, they can take over.
2140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bring back the Bitcoin FUN during this ATH period :-> on: November 22, 2020, 03:34:23 PM
I guess all those companies you’re talking about that are funding the giveaways back then we’re just doing it to draw people’s interest, and maybe now they have gotten what they wanted and they have decided to stop it. There is no lies in what you have said, the old days were better than now, so many things have changed.

Back then there were so many reasonable topics and I can remember that no one was really talking about bull run and asking annoying questions about when price will go down so they will make profit, people were more focused on other things that kept the forum fun. And it’s not just about this forum, everything about crypto fresh and fun, from faucets to every other thing. A lot of things really changed.
