2121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: February 25, 2017, 02:42:54 PM
I think they have a side benefit. the people who created alts must have learned a lot about bitcoin in the process...other than that I don't think LTC,Dogecoin or any other shitcoins actually influence bitcoin.

Altcoin make bitcoin more popular in altcoin market, bitcoin is their main price determinant. Bitcoin price movement is also derived from trading volume that involves a lot of altcoin. So why do you assume they don't give influence to Bitcoin? If bitcoin in pairs only with Fiat, price will move stagnant like gold, there is no significant increase.
2122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you remember the very first time you sent a Bitcoin transaction? on: February 25, 2017, 01:56:06 PM
First time I make transactions using blockchain is to verify account from a particular forum. Previously, i get it from faucet system with profit results that I don't know how to calculate it. Once verification complete, I was surprised that i transfer entire amount of Bitcoin only for verification !

I realized that faucet doesn't produce many bitcoin, I actually left faucet afterwards.
2123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing of Bitcoins is against Bitcoin. on: February 25, 2017, 01:20:44 PM
Storing bitcoin is not prohibited. People can choose what they want to do with their bitcoin. Some people hold because they think bitcoin will net them profit in the long term and some others using bitcoin as a currency and use them in transaction. Both didn't break any rules and regulation and i don't see anything wrong with storing your bitcoin.

There are some people who are afraid to store large amounts of bitcoin, in addition to security reasons, the withdrawal of profits every day is also a major reason. However, traders should save many bitcoin deposits to be traded continuously. Using bitcoin as an asset not to be against bitcoin.

Increased sales of services or goods that accept bitcoin payments prove balance in economy.
2124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Chain of Points - Transforming Loyalty Into Rewards on: February 25, 2017, 12:38:59 PM
I saw chain of points (CoP) as blockchain from different sides, more concerned with circulation of fundamental business and formation of loyal communities, I don't know much, but I am interested to be a part of this community, I subscribe email to get the latest info/crowsdale to be launched within 4 hours.
2125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Main Currency on: February 25, 2017, 11:51:44 AM
This is the future, ...our money will be in crypto currency. Soon all people will use a crypto currency, wallets are already embed inside our body thru microchip implants. Transactions are cashless.

Your post sounds like the messages of the end times. Hope it doesn't end in microchip implants and all those signs of the antichrist.

But not impossible if implanted chip will be used in future. For now, chip only used as a GPS to track whereabouts of a person, many people are happy to wear it for safety reasons, including also used by army. Radiation system has been refined and safe to use.

If Bitcoin planted in people wrist, in future we will only use barcode scanner for every short distance transaction. No more need to use your wallet and bank accounts, banks only need to save identity and transaction data only. If this is done by majority people in the world, FIAT is no longer needed as a major currency.
2126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Asia on: February 25, 2017, 11:29:00 AM
Hey,
I just saw a blog http://www.w11stop.com/blog-w11stop/bitcoin-w11stop related to bitcoin and wanted to know is it acceptable in Asia?

Thank You
By your name I can assume you're from Pakistan or maybe India. And yes bro, bitcoin is big in our part of the world as well, and its getting popular every minute with people from all different fields, especially who know how to use internet. So relax and jump in.

He sees online shop sites originating from Pakistan, looks similar to Alibaba and based electronic products. But unfortunately the site is just explaining theory about bitcoin, doesn't accept payment via bitcoin. Bitcoin is received clearly throughout the world, many Asian countries are already making startup bitcoin exchange markets such as China, Japan, and Indonesia. Regulation hasn't been fully used by all Asian countries, but there is no ban on use, the risk is left entirely to each user.
2127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make governments accept bitcoin? on: February 25, 2017, 08:01:16 AM
The government doesn't like anonymity, but this can be negotiated gradually. Currently they only need to set bitcoin exchange market in their country, so that it can regulate income tax and corporate transactions. It will also have an impact for members' transactions taxes. There are several exchange market that use verification such as uploading a photo ID while holding a paper written that they are active members.
2128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The danger of the cyptocurrencies on: February 25, 2017, 06:51:36 AM
You are probably aware of the recent news about removing the fiat money for good and building up the cashless world.

Have you thought that bitcoin maybe the first step of this utopia? What if CIA behind this project?

Intelligence agencies like the FBI, CIA, NSA et al oppose encryption being utilized in everything from cell phones to PC's.

There would be irony present in them supporting encryption in currency, when they have expressed a wholesale condemnation of encryption everywhere else.

I think if the CIA was behind a digital currency, it would be exactly like bitcoin except there would be as little encryption involved as possible and zero anonymity.

That is more dangerous if the CIA is behind a cryptocurrency. Imagine your transactions being opened by those who are in control.
Bitcoin was made to annihilate that kind of thing. People want privacy now and the government dont want that. That is the real danger they are afraid of. If the people will see that everything they transact can be accessed by the government, they might lose their way of tracing everyone.

Intelligents work to steal information and financial transactions, not stealing customers money. They have restrictions in work and we can't avoid it. Satoshi Nakamoto didn't reveal his own identity in order to keep bitcoin spread independently and anonymously. CIA most likely entered into system by exploiting bug from wallet, as long as we don't commit a crime, it's okay.
2129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Ransomware is Stealing Away the Bitcoin Victory on: February 23, 2017, 03:30:48 PM
even one of my friend had got his system infected with ransomware and was asked to pay 0.5 bitcoin but he was lucky enough because all his personal information were backed up in a external hard drive and just re formatted the system to get rid of that attack.

so I think due to anonymity the attackers find the path easier to ask for bitcoin instead of real money.

Ransomware is difficult to clean if they get into various formats such as mpg, pdf, and mp3. It takes data that's completely new - data backup on an external/portable hard drive. Antivirus like hitman pro and variety of premium antivirus can prevent it. But nothing could help when virus is already in  hardware system, except reinstall the system.
2130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have stopped introducing bitcoin to others! on: February 23, 2017, 03:00:20 PM

but honestly I can no longer give any answer to the question saying "why would I pay $0.9-$1 fee for using a new thing called bitcoin that I don't even understand instead of using my credit card for free that I have been using my whole life."
That is exactly what I faced. Introducing bitcoin is easy but explaining it is very difficult, and this was the 1st question among many which my friends asked me when I told them about bitcoin. Promoting bitcoin is a great thing as more bitcoin adoption is better but I just thing is people explore bitcoin by themselves is better and know if bitcoin is really for them or not.

Talk as an expert when you explain about bitcoin to your friends. Initially talking about something that's easy & without any investment costs such as how to obtain bitcoin of a signature campaign that you follow. A few moments later, when asked about investment and payment, you need to explain if these are virtual assets that has big trust, community, and level of outstanding transactions.

If you are not able to explain further more, you direct them to be active in this forum, I'm sure they will learn a lot independently.
2131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: February 23, 2017, 02:17:48 PM
Bitcoin is getting a lot issues recently around the confirmations i wouldnt be surprised if some investors switch to other altcoin that hasnt such delay to confirm the transactions as bitcoin is having. Without any upgrade this will keep happening, and looks like miner farms doesnt agree at all wich is the best thing to follow. Its getting boring already make and be at bitcoin with those issue not handle yet, how long can bitcoin survive if bitcoin dont upgrade into better system?
SegWit may be the only way for us to solve this problem. Sadly, most of the miners reject it because they believe that SegWit will lower the fee and they will not have the same profit as they do at the moment. well, we have to do something to encourage them to use this feature or Bitcoin will be self-destroyed

It seems that most of them are rather short-sighted

Though this had to be expected in a market which has a cut-throat competition taken over. Any update which would somehow affect the transaction fees (e.g. SegWit) would likely change the status quo and shake the mining industry. While it is certainly rational short-term, in the long haul the present state of affairs is inevitably set to change in the nearest future and then it could potentially render more damage to miners than the proposed changes. for example, Bitcoin may start being abandoned on reaching a certain point, after that the fees will still decline massively

I don't agree, bitcoin is not abandoned at certain point and as we can see these several days this month it shows good performance and it continued to flow smoothly. I don't see good benefit to those miners around but what I am focusing is the strong foundation of btc as of this year. Because of that good standing I must stick to my principle that bitcoin will still be bitcoin, and cannot be replaced other cryptocurrency.

We discussed about possibility of potential miners focus moved to altcoin because of cost and others. Especially when bitcoin has been exhausted to be mined. No matter how good bitcoin to maintain a solid structure, they will be eroded gradually by market. A strong foundation depending on market demand. All potential competition wide open every day and in future. We just need an optimistic attitude towards bitcoin.
2132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who NEEDS bitcoin in a democratic society? on: February 23, 2017, 01:52:55 PM
There is no problem between bitcoin and democracies, bitcoin can be developed rapidly and is very different from a dictatorship. Legal tender and regulatory issues bitcoin occur in every country, we don't need to confused about it. Bitcoin will give freedom to our economy, but it takes a tax adjustment by economic legislation. Bitcoin need to be aligned with what is imposed by fiat.
2133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: where can i buy and sell bitcoins at cheap cost on: February 23, 2017, 01:09:02 PM
please its there any place i can get cheap btc and start selling and buying everyday.i will purchase at least 1000$ a day

There are no more cheap bitcoin today and the cheapest bitcoin available is priced at 1000$ +. But if you want to get a good price try using cryptocompare in google, this site allows you to check all the bitcoin markets including their price. By comparing all markets you can determine whom among the markets are selling bitcoin at a lower price.

Maybe he meant volume, not valuation. I would point at the bigger sites like Bitfinex, Bitstamp or Kraken just flip throught the list at https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/ and pick number 1, 2 or 3.
Unless you need to enter the market with renminbi but you said $ so I assume these allready are your shortlist.

All personal or local exchange doesn't fix the lowest price, they refer to trading price, so if you are looking for best price, please visit some respective trade market are available. Yes, coinmarketcap is best place to find references market and right prices. BTC 1000 usd = 0.87 is average price at the moment.

How this bitcoin works?
can anyone use it in any transaction?

Just like Fiat, Bitcoin is a virtual currency that everyone can use and has been widely decentralized.
2134  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] Bitcointalk profil picture creator [0.003 BITCOINS PER AVATAR] on: February 21, 2017, 08:51:36 PM
It's advisable that you also try to write a few examples bbcodes for signature campaign on first page, you will get more points as a creator and designer. Of course your services revenue will double, and you will be a reference of developer campaign.
2135  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: February 21, 2017, 11:53:23 AM
I think there is no need, this is because if the existence of the bitcoin banks then will make bitcoin same with fiat money. In addition, the price will be in full control of the bank by making it unprofitable.

It is possible, but on the second thought, they can't dictate the price of bitcoin as many will protest when that happens. Anyway, I think we need a bitcoin bank, but they should have a purpose same as the real life banks. They should offer loans and other things that real banks offered. If they would just function like exchanges, then those banks will be a failure  Smiley

They might fail as banks, but necessarily as exchanges

In fact, there are a few projects which have the word bank as part of their name (e.g. ChronoBank and CoinsBank). I don't know anything about the former (ChronoBank) but the latter (CoinsBank) started as an exchange (back then it was called Bit-X). As said many times already, loaning bitcoins is not a viable idea presently, but the major reason why they began pretending to be a bank was issuing Bitcoin payment cards. Some established web wallets (like Coinbase and Xapo) do the same, but they don't pretend to be banks. Perhaps, there are other services offered by web wallets and not by exchanges which could be construed as bank services that would allow us to consider them as Bitcoin banks, to a certain degree
Banks that we are talking here are definitely not the bank in the real world which accept fiat as deposits and investment, it's hard to mixed this two as bitcoin has no value as currency since it is just considered as payment system. Also, if there will be banks that will accept with bitcoin, it would not happen very easy, that must be carefully studied by the Central Banks in order to devise a more specific rules and regulations to be followed.

For now, exchanges is the only bank we have and we can still enjoy the benefits of using it to safeguard our assets and to do our primary aim to transact.

I'm sure there are countries that will be happy to make policy on banking system integrated with bitcoin, we could see the Swiss bank conducting privacy policy to normal bank, it's not difficult for government to adopt bitcoin as a promising state benefits. No need to worry with attackers from a large group, because policy can never be interfered by other countries.
2136  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: February 21, 2017, 11:32:05 AM
A good article about money laundering through bitcoin. It actually explains that is really not that easy as it seems..... “It’s difficult to push large amounts of Bitcoin secretly through mixing services. It’s extremely noticeable no matter how you do it. If you catch a dealer with drugs and cash on the street, you’ve caught them committing one crime. But if you catch people using something like Silk Road, you’ve uncovered their whole criminal history. It’s like discovering their books.”  Here"s the link https://cointelegraph.com/news/laundering-drug-money-why-mafia-cant-hide-behind-bitcoin

Criminals may not work itself, is a mistake when doing mixing process for single account in large numbers, they will divide it in dozens of accounts and range services with unknown identity. Mixing service only an option, the credibility of service providers are also not as easy as it's to provide information to law enforcement agencies (anonymous powers). This is not about good and bad, just some ambiguity in that news.
2137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: February 21, 2017, 11:02:16 AM
Porn.com offers traditional payments as credit cards and PayPal, but have decided to integrate Bitcoins as a payment method to reach a new grow in their revenues. While it is not anything new, that the porn industry accepts Bitcoins as payments, the size of Porn.com makes it the largest site to integrate the payment method so far and might help the Bitcoin grow into a higher value over time. No kind of marketing intention is attached to this post...

It's an amazing thing, porn industry contributes more income countries since long. I think they don't need to create another new site, only need to integrate with bitcoin payments because they no longer need to look for more traffic. Unfortunately the official site is only available in developed countries.
2138  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitFlyer the world's largest bitcoin exchange Jan 2017? How? on: February 19, 2017, 02:53:30 PM
Yup. Zero fees. And if that 400,000 figure is true then 399,000 of them will be foreigners looking for action. Japan really doesn't seem to have taken to Bitcoin in any way whatsoever.

How does BitFlyer make it's money? The Chinese exchanges were making money through charging interest for margin trading - is BitFlyer using the same model?
it is just part of promotion , the site says transaction fees free at least for two weeks as campaign to attract people to trade there. so i guess after that the fee will be there as usual , no way they can make it last forever.

also if you take a look to alexa stats http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/bitflyer.jp , the whole traffic come from japan only , hmmm is there something wrong?

OK thanks. It means they will be the "biggest exchange" only for a short period of time.
i guess so , worth to see if this exchange will keep growing day by day or just take an opportunity on chinese exchange which have make a lot of trader disappointed with a new regulation about trading fee etc.

bitflyer itself has been there for few years , yet they are only prioritize japanese bitcoin trader, but now seems like ready to open for worldwide trader.

A huge losses if China market doesn't immediately prepare to take back its position on world bitcoin market. Japan only running a massive promotion to attract visitors. China will not think too long, they will play a different strategy for anticipating.
2139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving bitcoins on: February 19, 2017, 02:34:39 PM
Saving of bitcoin may lead one to profit or loss it can not be predicted because its rate is changing and may increase or decrease. But saving for future is good thing so saving of bitcoins is good.  Cheesy
save bitcoin will not make you lose, because you will avoid scam and losses. for storing bitcoin will certainly benefit, because the future will be bright and certainly bitcoin already guaranteed price will be higher than now

Yup as we are seeing that the price of bitcoin getting higher and higher so its a smart investment to make as price will be much higher in future so its good to save as many bitcoins as possible as it has a potential to give us returns beyond our imagination.
yes i also think so that holding bitcoin in the present time will be more beneficial in future. i think it is very easy to buy bitcoin right now. because the price of bitcoin is currently very low and i think every one at least  can afford bitcoin to buy a little amount of bitcoin. and then holding it for a long time can give a good profit.

If you have excess money or savings in large quantities, you are able to convert it from now, while I can't do the same thing, because it collided with some credit and bills for each month. But I also believe that bitcoin value will continue rising in future, then in accordance with science of trade, something valuable if scarce, its value will grow in line with demand.
2140  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: February 19, 2017, 02:18:39 PM
Most of the earnings I am getting is from gambling as I am addicted to sports betting and I am making good amount of bitcoins from it and after reaching to a certain level I divert my some earnings into altcoin trading to generate regular profits and signature campaign adds certain value to my earnings.

Gambling is also a good thing in addition to trade, the equation is need analysis and proper techniques to generate profits, results obtained can also be instant in one day. We as adults love with challenges such as betting & gambling cards

Hi, I am earning BTC Bitcoin from my online marketing blogging and from free add post.

You can also use your blog here through a bounty program to write articles related to signatures on your websites.
