I agree that Messi's retirement won't be at PSG. We should be seeing him at Barcelona one last time right before he retires. I know that Xavi is working on building a new team with a completely different game plan. But he also wouldn't be disturbed about having his old teammate in his team once again. Maybe this can happen in the next season too as he is already 35 years old and we don't know how much more he will continue to play. To tell the truth I would like to see him not retiring before becoming at least 40.

Benzema is a very special striker and I think that he is one of the best strikers in the La Liga now together with Lewandowski. He has been playing much more effectively since Ronaldo left the team because he is the target player of the team now. He also has taken advantage of the situation in the best manner so far. Last season was just incredible for him. He had a performance level that deserved winning Ballon d'Or. It looks like this season would be another great season for him when we consider his performance in the Super Cup match.

Freiburg - Dortmund match is more attention getting to me rather than Bayern Munich's. Because we will watch a tough match between these two teams certainly. Freiburg are one of the toughest opponents for Dortmund currently. By the way they haven't been able to win against Freiburg away in their last three head-to-heads. As they didn't seem prepared against Leverkusen in their first match also I think they will have problems in this match too. Freiburg won't lose this.

Tottenham'ın Manchester City'i deplasmanda 3-2 devirdiği maçı da hatırlıyorum ama Chelsea deplasmanları ayrı bir zor oluyor. Tottenham uzun zamandır burada kazanamadı. Chelsea didn't perform very well against Everton indeed. They could have got an easier victory in this match actually. However the Tottenham match is a totally different one. Chelsea like to play this kind of big matches in the league. Tuchel knows well how to deal with these teams. Tottenham might have serious issues in this away match of them if they come across a solid defending. Tottenham should focus on getting ahead before their opponent otherwise Chelsea are really good at keeping their advantage.

Marseille were one of the impressive teams of the first week. They were expected to defeat Reims of course but they showed a very solid performance. Even though the statistics tell that these teams had a similar effort the result wasn't like that. Marseille showed their quality and won by 4-1. Nuno Tavares scored in his first match which should be very satisfying for him. Maybe Marseille can help him improve his performance much more and earn his place back at Arsenal who knows.

While one of the Manchester teams were doing a very nice job the other one failed really hard. People had much bigger expectations from Manchester United about this season. But they just started horrible. For now I don't see anything that has changed about them. But we had better give Erik ten Hag some time to see how much his game plan will have an effect on the team. Ronaldo seemed very uncomfortable with the condition of the team also. He must be disappointed for now.

This is really bad news for me.    Because I don't want to see another boring Mercedes domination in the near future. I'm thinking the same for any team on the grid actually. We all must be just wishing to see a solid competition between at least two drivers and teams for the championship. I agree with the people who say that Hamilton deserves his 8th title. But I wouldn't like to see it happening by a boring season. It isn't happening for this season but the next one can be really interesting.

It is an unfortunate beginning for Liverpool maybe but they would hopefully collect themselves by their match up next. I will be following especially two matches closely which are Manchester United and Manchester City's. Erik ten Hag is having his first ever Premier League match with his new team against Brighton. It is in Old Trafford and I'm thinking that they will win this. On the other hand Manchester City are having a more difficult match against West Ham but I still believe in them to win. I might bet on Haaland to score his first goal also.

Malum dolar kurunu söylemiyorum çünkü o yukarı yönlü hareketine uzun bir süre devam eder gibi gözüküyor. Akaryakıt fiyatlarının 7-8 lira bandında olduğu günler dün gibi aklımda hala.

After watching Trabzonspor's match, it was really stressful to watch the Besiktas - Kayserispor one.    Because it wasn't a very clean match I mean. In a match that we have seen two red cards, Besiktas hardly managed to win indeed. They were the better playing side also but the result wasn't just showing that. Today Galatasaray also are starting the new season with an Antalyaspor match. Antalyaspor are favoured by the bookies by a little gap now. But I feel like Galatasaray will win this somehow.

There is no surprising result for PSG as expected. They erased Clermont by 5-0. There was a big quality difference between these teams of course but it is important for boosting their morale anyway. Mbappe had an injury but it didn't change anything for the team thanks to the great Messi - Neymar work. It is awesome to see them starting to play like in their Barcelona days. The team will expect to see this in the Champions League also as it is the most important part for them.

By the way the Spa GP is under the threat of being removed from the calendar by next season also. At least there have been some rumours regarding that. To tell the truth I would rather seeing the track being kept in the calendar. Because I believe that it is still one of the very special tracks in F1. There are some other boring tracks already that should be thought of for that first. For example the Monaco GP is one of the most boring races as it is nearly impossible to overtake drivers there.

Barcelona are really in an interesting situation right now. Players are eager to sign for them thanks to the level of this team of course. But Barcelona's finance is actually very bad on one hand. However they still don't care about it as their main goal is to achieve big successes by strengthening their lineup. They have done pretty well so far about that. But if they don't get the results they are hoping to see then all the effort would be in vain. They see this risk as worth taking so they are going for it.

The match has started. Paderborn are a tough team to beat for them actually. Comparing the performances in the past season, Paderborn had a better season than Hannover. In addition to that Hannover made a worse start than them this season as well. When we take all these into account it might be really difficult for Hannover to win this game. Even getting one point might be hard for them but we will see. I'm favouring the home team in this match.

Of course we can have a surprising result at the end of the Crystal Palace - Arsenal match. This is football in the end and everything can happen. On the other hand I just am quite confident that Arsenal would make a solid start to this season. We all remember how terrible they started to the last one and they must have learned their lesson from that. Consistency is key for them to become more successful now. They can defeat Crystal Palace here by a decent score.
