Rule #1 of ASICs is that pretty much everybody (especially miners) get screwed. The only winners are the companies that make the ASIC chips themselves and the companies that assemble the mining hardware product (and their resellers).
*Also interested in 15day/30day/90day fixed rate contracts for NAUT, RZR, STAR, OSC, FRK, RPC 'bundles' that way each party can acquire over longer windows and know a guaranteed rate of exchange.
All mentioned coins actually have extremely volatile behaviour, does your proposal implies that you are willing to hold up the coins for around 90day despite on possible downward trends?
It doesn't really matter if coinbase adds it or not but LTC has a slightly less chance to be listed than DRK. A lots of people have thought DRK will never be listed at Bitfinex before LTC. Then a lots have claimed coinbase will not going to accept it before LTC with the founder of LTC for years working on their team. Then finally i heard Bitfinex is not going to face the regulatory backlash that may occur, because they are trying to be compliant, not trying to promote the black market.
Basically CryptoNote allows for increased privacy in cryptocurrency transactions. It uses ring signatures that restrict the double-spending attempt by linking the transactions with the same private key. The protocol uses the key image, derived from a private key through a one-way function. All the users keep the list of all the used key images, which are checked against a new transaction. Every address of the payment is a unique one-time key, which is created from both the sender's and the receiver's data, and the usage of ring signature hides the exact outputs that have been spent for the input. Therefore, each next transaction increases the number of possible senders and hides the actual connection even more.
I've been mining this for a while using a 2Xradeon 6770. I tried installing the latest CCC, then installing the Stream SDK 2.2 (since 2.3 lowers performance), but the miner came up with an error that there were multiple versions of Open CL. Anyway i've done with a tiny profits seeing a bit frustrating price.
