Clans could definitely have a better return, but it is gambling and in the long run it will always be a loss.
That's why gamblers have to think about the long term financial risks if they really can't quit gambling. It's okay to gamble as long as they are responsible gamblers, but when it's done without control then they get into trouble.

Gamblers can try various features offered by casinos, but the risk is still there because actually losing is a certainty that must be experienced by gamblers while winning is a hope that is difficult to achieve on various occasions. So be a responsible gambler, meaning they have to understand the risks.
2142  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save as food inflation jumps more than 11% in a year on: September 25, 2022, 05:37:27 AM
The rate of inflation is very high and worsens day after day. Before you could use your savings, the purchasing power of your savings would go way below expectations. I have decided not to save anymore. Even emergence savings I will not have.
I will use my money to be buying bitcoin and then buy properties, when there is an emergency need, I'll sell one of my properties and take care of the emergency. The  way the economy and economics is going, I can say that the future is absolutely very unpredictable.
Each user has a different way of managing their finances regardless of whether it is viewed as good or bad by other users. I like investing in gold over property, it has been an investment asset option that I have considered for a long time. Savings is only for emergencies because actually I don't really ignore this centralized system of fiat.

I know inflation has drained a lot of its value, it's too bad. However, I have not been able to get rid of the dependence on using fiat in my daily life. The situation will improve, the economy will return to normal and I believe inflation will decrease at the individual and national level when we know how to manage spending well.

Those data being share doesn’t contain any personal information and we are all anonymous here in the forum which means we are safe no matter what we share here as long as it doesn’t contain any information that will reveal our identity in the public. Besides there’s no proof being shared that will make all the shared information here valid.
You have to realize that the internet is a place that can archive everything you say, it will be future proof when someone wants to find what you like. Now you can say it's okay but when you really have to cover it up from someone then I'm pretty sure you'll regret it very much.

Privacy doesn't have to be about your personal data in the form of important documents, it also includes something you like like your hobbies, sports you like, games you like and so on. So when you don't want someone to know what you've been up to on the internet, then you really have to weigh every confession well.
2144  Other / Meta / Re: Here Is One Reason Why Legendary Members Get So Many Merits on: September 25, 2022, 05:19:46 AM
Overall if your merit keeps up with your activity level then you will rank up at the same rate as the pre-merit system.  You cannot really rank up faster than your activity level advances - even if you earn more merits.
You're right, but the more merit they get that may outweigh the activity points then they tend to be safer rank up than higher activity points than merit. I was one of the majority of users who when the merit system was introduced stuck at Hero rank, because I didn't have enough activity so I didn't get the 1000 merit airdop as one of the Legendary requirements.

You forgot to mention that you are actually a merit contributor who has a distribution history of 70% - 75% of the total merit you submitted (18K+ merit) on economy board, while you only have 9% - 14% distribution on the bitcoin board (3K+ merit). Then in Meta, you have send 1817 merit or 7.49% all the time but it will probably increase over time. I can find all that data on the merit dashboard.

One other fact, you have send 17,728 merit for the Legendary rank.

When I first joined this forum I was overwhelmed with the information found here. Bitcoin was pretty new to me.
The average new users are those who have no knowledge of bitcoin, it makes them feel lost in the forum with no one to guide them. But day by day when these users are constantly discussing with other established users, they will become more and more educated. I, you, and the average other user have had the same experience.

Now I feel like I would be lost not visiting here daily. Not to forget some of the friends I have made here in the last 8 years.
When we love something, then I'm sure we will not easily forget it. Likewise someone's feelings about their contribution to bitcointalk, they will feel lost if they are not active here even if they only read a few posts.
2146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 25, 2022, 04:30:19 AM
So far Arteta has done a very good job, he was able to bring Arsenal control of the Premier League until Sunday 7. Arteta must be aware of any threats that come, they could lose their position if they don't always give their best performance in every game. There are lots of strong teams in the Premier League that can threaten Arsenal position at any time, the distance of 1 point from Manchester City and Tottenham can't be said that Arsenal's position is safe at the top of the standings. The match against Tottenham will be a tough test for Arteta men, because if they drop points in this Big Match, they will be in danger of losing their position as the leader of the standings.
Of course, the real threat for Arsenal next week is Tottenham. We all know that Tottenham are also in good form where they have managed to trail Arsenal by 1 point from 5 wins and 2 draws. So Tottenham can really be expected to be a threat to Arsenal next week. Arsenal certainly have to win this match if they are still to lead the table with a points advantage over Manchester City, but if Arsenal lose in the end then I am very sure Tottenham and Manchester City will take over the top of the table.

But there is one other decisive match that is also very important to look forward to, namely the Manchester derby. For the derby match, I believe Manchester United will find it difficult to hold back the good form of Manchester City. After all, Manchester City will perform optimally because this match will take place at home.
2147  Economy / Gambling / Re: How is your casino profile looks like? on: September 24, 2022, 09:25:07 PM
Not to be blunt but is this even worth it for sharing?
No, it is not mandatory for you when you prefer to keep your gambling activities secret. I won't tell people how much money I've spent on jud even if it's a rough estimate. But not everyone wants to keep it a secret, it's up to the perception of each gambler.

I don't think it is OP, yes, it's just for fun but some people tend to just lurking around knowing what you might wanna spill online. For years on crypto gambling I guess zero was my sum profit and Roobet is the favorite casino I've ever play with.
For me there is no casino that I really like, it just depends on what kind of game I want but of course for some of the leading casinos.
2148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 24, 2022, 08:46:56 PM
the start of the season manchester city performed quite well in the domestic league because since manchester city managed to bring in Erling haaland in the last summer window, the manchester city squad was like 100% perfect at the start of this season in every line they had quality players.
No, I don't think the current Manchester City squad is as perfect as you think. Granted, they have good squad depth but I believe Manchester City have had some weaknesses at the back this season.

This season Manchester City have not proven that they can beat teams like Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea. Their striker's goal productivity is good, but I haven't seen them able to do the same against a top team. Well now I can expect that in the match against Manchester United next week or rather in early October. You have to know, Manchester City are great but they are not 100%.
2149  Other / Meta / Re: Attaining legendary rank - is that the end? on: September 24, 2022, 08:39:12 PM
That is it and in same vain, legendary members contributing to the forum and answering newbie questions is not also obligatory as opposed to what Op thinks. Those regular names we see here daily and weekly are passionate about the forum.  It is not easy for some people who were here since 2013, 2014 or even earlier to still remain active. Most of the people who started earlier are no longer here.
It doesn't really make sense for a Legendary member who in 2017 and 2021 has managed to become a billionaire because of his investment would happily spend a lot of time replying to spammers here. They wouldn't because honestly now they would really appreciate the time to enjoy life in all its luxuries. They can stay here for any number of reasons, but I'm sure it's not for something pointless.

Reaching Legendary during the merit system is something that makes me feel satisfied and I am grateful that I succeeded, but the feeling will be very different from those who were already Legendary before the merit system. But if those users are contributors, then I believe the rewards they get today are much higher than their activity. Legendary is not the end, it's just the highest rank and every one of them should still care about post quality if they don't want to be called spammer or shitposter.
2150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The First Bullish & Bearish Market I Met. on: September 24, 2022, 08:20:57 PM
Therefore, how many bullish and bearish markets have you met as you become a bitcoiner?
Let know the old and the new bitcoiners
I can't remember for sure, but I've been here for some bullish and bearish history since mid-October 2014.
The course of price history both bullish and bearish is just a dynamic, it's just history but I managed to get some benefits during that time. It doesn't matter how big it is, but it's there.

Bearish has discouraged me in the past as bitcoin was not yet a decade old at first, but now this perception has changed and I no longer worry about the future as bitcoin continues to grow and be adopted in different countries. Increasingly hospitable legality and the strength of a thriving community are some of the things that convinced me about bitcoin's future. So, no matter how bearish or bullish we are, that's only dynamics decorate the journey.
2151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 24, 2022, 07:45:12 PM
That is the real focus of Guardiola and he has achieved it, as standard as Manchester City is currently any good coach can handle the club to glory. The density of the club is very beautiful ,while you talk about Haaland temptative injury,I still believe that hatricks will  come. You remember Kevin has done it this season beginning or was it last season ending. The team is so complete.
Kudos to Manchester City, but unfortunately this team is too strong for the domestic league while they still haven't proven themselves much especially in the Champions League, I mean they haven't tasted the title yet. With Guardiola, Manchester City is better, that must be very true because this team has dominated the title in the last 5 seasons in the Premier League.
2152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: September 24, 2022, 07:38:56 PM
Barca has dense squad now and even with four players out, I think they will be able to put good squad against Mallorca. The difficult part is that three days later they have game against Inter in CL and that is very important for them if they want to keep good chances of advancing to the next stage. Xavi has to make some tough calls here.
I think Xavi can handle his team without losing focus on other competitions. Laliga and Champions League are both important, so I don't think Xavi will keep his best squad on the bench against Mallorca just because the player is expected to do well against Inter in the Champions League. Their main players have to get minutes to play, they have to play even if they have to start from the bench. Xavi's main target is simply to win faster than Mallorca in the first half with a good goal difference, and that could see him attract some players to rest in the second half.
2153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 23, 2022, 09:31:26 PM
Losing one player in the trio is bad only if their combination is good for PSG. If they have conflicts with each other and their combination is not too good, perhaps missing one player can be better.

Fortunately, likely that we are seeing better combination and connection between them after the drama from Mbappe. Whether they can succeed, it will depend on how they maintain it in Champions League.
Mbappe must change his childish egotistical attitude. He is a talented player as one of the young stars, but if he always behaves selfishly which does not benefit his team then he will fade before he reaches his peak. Neymar and Messi are two more experienced players, they know what they have to do for the team and their friends so that the team's goals can be achieved. But if Mbappe does not always indulge his passions and selfishness, then the appearance of the PSG striker is really very scary.

I want to see how far PSG can stay in the Champions League this season and I also want to see how the three strikers perform in every game. Messi, Neymar and Mbappe would be great if they understood each other.
2154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: September 23, 2022, 09:25:22 PM
Lewandoski has also set his eyes on the golden boot and Ballon d'or. I think he's closer to the Ballon d'or at in Barcelona than when he was at Bayern Munich. Wining the Ballon d'or would be more possible at Barcelona next season.
Why do you think that, have you forgotten that there are better players in other teams than Lewandowski at Barcelona? What do you think about Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne and some of the other players in the Premier League, do you believe they don't have good chances?

Lewandowski's target is to be the top scorer, that's much more realistic to be true than the Ballon D'or. Lewandowski is currently the top scorer in Laliga, so if he consistently scores goals then he can win it this season.
2155  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save as food inflation jumps more than 11% in a year on: September 23, 2022, 08:56:32 PM
I don't know how to manage my finances in the best way during this inflation other than being frugal not to spend too much money on things that are not urgent. Inflation has messed up a lot of my investment plans so far, but I'm trying to stay focused on that plan even though it's actually a bit inconsistent.

10% of my total income can still be saved for savings, sometimes I can't do it consistently every month but I can accumulate it the next month for 20%. This strategy may vary from person to person, but so far I haven't had too many problems.

So Italy winning and Germany is losing  Roll Eyes

Imagine not be qualified for the World cup and be able to beat one of the team candidate for the top 4. Roll Eyes
Guys, I can't imagine anything from Italy's victory today. They are not as good as they seem even though England are actually the more deserving team to win this match. Italy will of course have to aim for something big in this UEFA National League because they are not the team that will be competing for the world cup, and after all, teams like England or Germany will not fully play for this competition in my opinion. If Italy fails, then it just doesn't make sense.
2157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 23, 2022, 07:57:18 PM
Its more like a superstitious because back then, Manchester United was probably the best team and most of their players were top players on their respective countries so yeah basically most of these players ended up wasted after the international break. This shouldnt be the case anymore though and pretty much all top clubs are going to be taking hit after the international break
Regardless of whether it's a myth or not, but in fact Manchester United is still not as perfect as expected. Ten Hag can probably be expected to increase the motivation and discipline of the players to work hard during the match, but against Manchester City at the Etihad is an issue that will probably make me doubt about a good result for Manchester United. Manchester City is a very tough opponent, their chances of winning are high but that doesn't mean they don't have weaknesses.
2158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying BTC vs Mining it on: September 23, 2022, 07:52:28 PM
If you see the conditions in crypto are dropping, of course buying Bitcoin is better than mining. One Bitcoin means a lot for now. We must be able to take advantage of this opportunity. Mining is also the best alternative for adding Bitcoin balance, because we have to wait a long time to get to the bull market. But we will have to be patient for some time, as the crypto market continues to dump. So that we get the right price with lower value.
Buy now or later depending on your strategy. But I can advise you to buy and do DCA instead of expecting a bigger drop. DCA is the best advice for anyone looking to buy during this bear market, but if you like lump sum then that's fine too.

Mining vs Investment, it's just a choice that depends on each of us. I love investing, but that doesn't mean mining isn't profitable. But I have to consider the cost for mining equipment, it's definitely not cheap now considering the inflation has forced some producers to increase the selling price of their products.
2159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: September 22, 2022, 09:35:04 PM
It is easy to be sure about the fact that they spent 200+ million this year and won't be winning the title for sure. I mean there is no way that this team could turn around and end up winning it all, it would be a shock to anyone who ever watched football.

It is going to be something that is going to be a bit of a trouble in the long run for them as well if they keep giving the owner free reign, someone needs to make sure that they end up talking with the owner and explain why you can't just spend money to be the best team, Real for example hasn't spent as much as most teams and won both the league and the title, City spent less than United for a while and was still miles better.
There are doubts about Chelsea, that is of course very reasonable considering their performance has not been good. Tuchel's substitution by Potter is expected to improve their form, but of course there will have to be time and a gamble in it.

Potter has had good experience in previous teams but at Chelsea I think he will be very burdened by the demands. Especially about the title, Potter will certainly be difficult to achieve in the first season. But there are good hopes from him to give a little more change to Chelsea's appearance.
2160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 22, 2022, 09:09:50 PM
I have always trusted in Arteta's project and slowly we are seeing positive signs of good things to come. I must commend Arteta's efforts to get the perfect signings to improve the squad and so far he has been successful in acquiring his preferred kind of players and the team is doing so well this season. If they keep this momentum In the next two seasons the club will grow to be like Manchester city.
Of course you are right, Arteta managed to do his job well since the middle of last season. There are good expectations about Arsenal, but other teams like Manchester United and Tottenham are always a threat to Arsenal. In early October, Arsenal must prove they can beat Tottenham. I don't know if Arsenal can play as expected, but Tottenham are also improving a lot this season.
