2141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DVC]DevCoin - Official Thread - Moderated on: December 20, 2017, 07:23:01 PM
I am at block 307374. The (old and dated?) wallet (Debian Linux) does not seem to update though.

The latest receiver file I can find is receiver_17.csv dated 5 November 2013 but I have transactions in my wallet dated 7 March 2016 and 27 May 2017  Huh
2142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis on: December 20, 2017, 06:26:10 PM
It is my gut feeling that the master is not wrong, but that his predicted base of 1-1,5 yrs back is simply proven a bit too low ($10k instead of $15-20k). That could mean that the estimated spike is not $50k-70k but somewhere around $100k. Looking at the altcoins seeming much less correlated to Bitcoin taking a 20% dive (!), there is much more to the market right now than in 2013.

It’s bigger and much stronger.

So diversify and hold.
2143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [MCO] MONACO #1 Cryptocurrency Payments Card on: December 20, 2017, 04:58:41 PM
Who cares about the price now? We just Hold coins so we can get a Platinum card. Shipping out cards is much more important than price now.
2144  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 20, 2017, 04:54:34 PM
This will be the fastest and most brutal Bitcoin bounce back ever.

Wait for it.
2145  Economy / Speculation / Re: BETI: Bitcoin Exponential Trend Index and technical analysis on: December 20, 2017, 02:39:39 PM
There is less fear in the market and Bitcoin has survived another 4 years. A big difference with 2013.

Just fluctuations. As usual  Grin

The 12hr shows a perfect buy-the-dip to me. But indeed, the buy walls should be there to avoid further deterioration.
2148  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 19, 2017, 10:24:45 PM
I'll just hold.

It worked a zillion times already.

The future cannot be stopped.

Ah, and finally here is the trigger :

I never knew the Danish central bank and some bloke from Blockchain.com spouting utter nonsense with his BeeCash crap would have an effect on the market.

It was simply time for a correction.

But as usual, pity humans seek a reason for the decline, because their brains crave for it. Simply 'correction' does not count, it should be a 'story' each and everything. I no longer become mad about this delusional mass psychology, since the same mechanisms slings a digital asset upwards towards being the numeraire.
2150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Eth] Collectible cat game (CryptoKitties) accountable for 2% of total gas usage on: December 19, 2017, 10:01:51 PM
Crypto Kitties represent 'digital assets'. These assets do not have to mean anything (just like art does not always mean anything). The asset is simply valued by humans and that fact alone is sufficient to give it value.

In respect of the Crypto Kitties, I assume that at some point, the number of transactions goes down because breeding goes slower and lower the higher generation the Kitties are (they have to regenerate longer and longer after a breeding thing). That should bring the congestion down a bit.
2151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]COSS Token Swap ICO is LIVE on: December 19, 2017, 09:45:10 PM
An exchange is not built in one day. Time is needed to make UI smooth, have a solid engine and grow the user base. I see this project more in terms of holding for at least a year than quick gains. It's not the price that is interesting but the volume of the exchange.

One question: if tokens are held in a private ETH wallet and the contract for split distribution is activated, does that mean that the distribution revenue will appear in my wallet at COSS.IO?

I think the listing on KuCoin could do wonders for DeepOnion. Very exciting and I foresee a great marriage between DeepOnion and KuCoin.

I can proudly say that no token hit my ETH address yet. Just like the September 2nd Airdrop.
2154  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Bullish Bitcoin Media Center (The ONLY Bullish Bitcoin News Thread) on: December 19, 2017, 09:23:37 PM
Analyst who predicted bitcoin's rise now sees it hitting $300,000-$400,000

BOOM  Cool

2155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: December 19, 2017, 07:01:38 PM
I consider it very friendly for IOTA towards a partner like Bosch to leak a buy-strategy of your partner to the Internet, so your partner can buy at higher prices after the crowd has already jumped in. Is that decent or am I missing something?

A (still) small project with a great heart. Through the ups and downs, DeepOnion is dominating. The release of an Android wallet will increase the practical use case of DeepOnion considerably. With the low number of coins outstanding, price is poised to go higher with such tight community and active Devs.
2157  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: December 19, 2017, 07:00:29 PM
Cryptopia has $60,000,000 million daily volume. That is a tremendous growth. Imagine the potential of smaller exchanges that carry user/token incentives (like COSS.IO).

One question: when will the iOS wallet be available? It has been outstanding for quite a while and also being present in the Apple iStore is a major element for breaking through.
