~

Because he was placing flat bets.

Well, if that was the case, then he did win 23 times in a row with 33.066% win chance. Or, otherwise we would see some lost bets in the pictures above, right? You see, that's why I've been writing about it so much: 23 wins in a row with 33.066% win chance seems highly unlikely.
Even if you think it is highly unlikely, just like we always tell to people who lose 10+ times in a row on martingale, each bet is individual to itself and independent from the others, which means the 23th bet he made, after 22 times hitting the correct one, is actually still 1/3 chance to win, it doesn't suddenly becomes even more impossible to hit it just because you managed to hit many corrects in a row. Normally we talk about this on losses and not wins, talking about it on wins does make it a bit interesting because we rarely ever see them come out like this, however as you can see if there are people who complain about losing too many times in a row, there is always a person who hits that many in a row as well, hell I don't remember last time I saw 23 times in a row lose on a 67% odd for example.

It really depends on when you make your prediction.

If somebody needs to win a 1/3 bet 10 times in a row, and you make your estimation before they start, then the odds of succeeding are 0.333^10 = approx 0.0000167%, or almost 1 in 60,000.

However, if they have already won 22 times in a row, then the odds of winning a 23rd time is 1/3, a 24th time is 1/9, a 25th time is 1/27 etc (when predicting before any bets are made).
2142  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Need your feedback for our intro !!! on: April 16, 2020, 10:23:22 PM
Your intro is overambitious with far too many buzzwords... Robots, drones, intelligent...

Why not keep it simple and avoid following the same type of tagline used by thousands of failed ICOs.

People are not looking to get burned again, and will avoid investing in anything that seems even vaguely familiar now.
2143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fastest Dice site? on: April 16, 2020, 09:13:47 PM
Crypto-games has the fastest auto-roll as far as I've tried, and Primedice isn't too far behind.

You can increase the roll speed by cutting down on unused elements in the browser, and only loading the elements that are absolutely necessary for the game.

Something called noscript can be downloaded to help eliminate the unwanted elements, or you could manually edit the page source to remove them.

Absolutely bonkers high roller board today! Almost a full sheet of green!

Congratulations to all the higher rollers who made it on the board in green today.

Special congratulations to the [Hidden] user, who racked up some incredible bets in Roulette, including one 0.8 LTC to 20.8 LTC bet!
2145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best time to begin your gambling affiliate journey. on: April 16, 2020, 02:35:39 PM
Trying to be an affiliate marketer is something not easy because we need to invite people every day so they can join under us. But I see that this source can be a good source to make money as long as we can get the right method on how to invite them. Perhaps, we can create one website contain everything about the product or gambling website that we want to promote. I already try this in the past, but I don't have a good result in this field, and that makes me curious. Perhaps, using social media will still work to invite people to join in the gambling site.

Most people who are successful in affiliate marketing don't go door to door offering their referral links.

Instead, they set up referral pipelines and affiliate marketing funnels. They makes use of Google adwords, SEO and other marketing tactics to drive traffic to their own platforms, where they then convert readers into affiliates.

You really need to have quite a substantial network to be hugely successful in affiliate marketing, but even normal guys can grab a few referrals here and there with little effort. You never know, you might get lucky and get a mega-whale register under your link Cheesy

Glad to see you have taken my advice  Grin

$25/1,000 words is a bargain rate for a native English writer, potential employers should bite your hand off at those rates.

Best of luck!
2147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is our chance on: April 15, 2020, 10:35:18 PM
Even when halving is so close yet everything in crypto looks very quite and normal, unlike previous years of halving that you can fill the vibe from distance,  this year is totally different,  the unexpected pandemic has changed things in a whole lot, can't say I expect so much this coming halving just for the obvious reason, I don't think there will be such influx of new investors, the attention is diverted from crypto right now, surivival is top most priority for many people right now, so we can only hope for the best.

I guess that's what happens during a global pandemic.

Unlike the other two halvings, this one is preceded by a world on the brink of economic collapse and potentially word viral pandemic in recent history. It's only natural that it should seem relatively muted or even bearish at this point.

I wouldn't be surprised if this halving doesn't even lead to a pump (in the short term). But we could possibly be in for one wicked pump in 2 or 3 years when the economy begins to show signs of recovery, or Bitcoin manages to truly scale to the heights necessary to achieve widespread adoption.
2148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best time to begin your gambling affiliate journey. on: April 15, 2020, 09:31:09 PM
Truth.

I've seen quite a significant uptick in my affiliate registrations for crypto-games.net, while a few of my other affiliate campaigns are also doing quite well.

A lot of people are back out there looking for new games to play while sitting at home on the lockdown, and a lot of people have picked up where they left off on dice sites.

Pretty sure most of the popular platforms have seen dramatic growth in recent weeks.
2149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Satoshi theory? Deceased or alive & well on: April 15, 2020, 07:55:29 PM
I personally think he died.

Realistically, nobody has the willpower to not dump their 1 million bitcoins when BTC reaches $20,000 each.

He would have had a net worth of $20 billion.

I don't care if you want to reshape the world or whatnot, $20 billion buys out the morals of almost anybody. He must be dead.
2150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Not To Sell BTC On Crypto ATM! on: April 15, 2020, 05:08:28 PM
The way that money falls out of the machine is extremely suspicious, as far as I've seen the vast majority of Bitcoin ATMs have a small maximum withdrawal amount—usually in the order of 1,000 to 2,000 euros.

If this is actually legit, then that is a serious malfunction by the machine, and the manufacturer should be liable.

I'd even go so far as to say nobody should ever buy one of their machines again, since it's downright dangerous.

Does anybody know the model of the machine so we can avoid it in future?
2151  Other / Off-topic / Re: Paying whatever you can salvage to blow my head off cause life's a bitch. on: April 14, 2020, 10:26:15 PM
Try Fiverrr and Freelancing platforms, you could almost certainly get work as a writer. That'll get you at least $20/1,000 words.

Alternatively, you could learn a new skill or flip items on craigslist. Killing yourself won't solve anything.

If you genuinely are planning to kill yourself, at least give it one final shot at making it big before you go.
2152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Doom of the Stablecoin Industry? on: April 14, 2020, 09:52:25 PM
One of the suggestions is outright prohibition, doesn't seem like it's the most likely candidate.

There is a zero percent chance that stablecoins will be banned, if that's the case, you'll have to ban practically every other derivative instrument too. Goodbye futures, options and swaps for all markets, not just cryptocurrencies.

These are basically derivatives of fiat, just like people trade futures for wheat, oil and gold. Some futures are physically delivered, just like how stablecoins can be redeemed.

They're just feeling threatened, and who can blame them!
2153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: April 14, 2020, 09:17:12 PM
I would say that Wilder should really improve his defense compared to their previous fight. You can really saw that he almost took all shots that made him slowly go down.
The problem here is that Wilder started boxing at the age of 20 and he became a world class champion simply because of his power punching and he is not even a polished boxer like a boxer who started boxing at a young age and for someone to think that Wilder will learn boxing at the age of 34 is really harsh in my opinion  Wink.

Im impressed on Fury's reflexes in spite of being a big guy he do able to dodge out jabs which is really an advantage.
Fury started boxing at a very young age and he is coming from a boxing family and he is known for his reflexes even with his huge frame and in the rematch he knew the best way to beat a heavy puncher is the Kronk way which Emanuel Steward made famous.

The boxer almost always beats the puncher. Deontay Wilder is a big guy and he can punch, but that's just not enough against Fury.

I think that even if Wilder had the pedigree that Fury has, he'd still be no match, simply because he's always going to be a puncher.

The only reason Wilder has been so successful is because of his unorthodox punches, had he been drilled properly like Anthony Joshua, those unorthodox punches would have been drilled out before he even hit the pros. They leave him wide open, and I doubt he would have the technical ability to make up for it.

Oh, is this what you called unboxing video, poor thing, the video seems to focus the one who's talking not the product.

How about posting images of the actual product? Would like to see it.

Sure Sir,

Jesus, imagine thinking that would work.

You guys clearly have the technical chops necessary to create a leading hardware wallet.

2155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: April 12, 2020, 10:22:11 PM
Tyson Fury is clear winner for me.
He has bigger heart and he is smarter than Wilder.
Only question I have is will this fight even happen in that time... and I have my doubts because of current condition in the world

Doesn't matter if it happens in time, the outcome will only be the same.

Wilder is getting old, he's around 35 now, which isn't the best age for a heavyweight that relies on speed and explosivity.

I think that the delay will only benefit Fury, since he'll have even long to prepare, while Wilder will only injure his body further in training.

Either way, hopefully the match either gets cancelled or Fury quickly stops Wilder once and for all, nobody wants to see this third.
2156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline cryptocurrency transfer? on: April 12, 2020, 08:38:52 AM
Please don't tell me people in Venezuela are stick rocking a Nokia 6210? I doubt people even make applications for that relic anymore.

There are already a large number of ways to make Bitcoin transactions offline, e.g. via the Glacier protocol and partially signed transaction formation.

Although I've never seen an SMS version, this indicates that they still need to have some cellular connectivity, which obviously won't be useful if the whole network goes down.

Also, it appears that wherever is processing the SMS's is connected to the internet... Otherwise how does it broadcast the transaction? So much missing info, but I am pretty sure the internet is involved somewhere along the line.
2157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CMC Misleading new projects on: April 10, 2020, 10:59:40 PM
What do you mean CoinMarketCap gives bad exchanges a good rating?

Are you talking about the trading volume?

Pretty sure nearly every project worth bothering with has an understanding of wash trading and fake stats. Everybody has seen the exchange transparency reports released by BTI....

The only reason projects list on crap exchanges is because they're cheap and/or free, and they couldn't' get listed on a good one. Don't you think these projects try to get listed on the likes of Binance, Kraken, Bitfinex etc? Of course they do, but they get told to F... off because they're absolutely trash.

Trash project = trash exchange, it's as simple as that. If an exchange doesn't think they're worth listing, why would they be worth investing in?

2159  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cleaned out stake.com balance! on: April 10, 2020, 10:23:08 PM
We really need to see your deposit and withdrawal history, otherwise we can't be sure what happened.

You should also ask Stake if they can provide you with a list of the IP addresses that recently accessed your account.

You can then use iplocation.net to check the rough region where the IP is from.

Overall, it's quite possible you accidentally placed a bet twice or entered a wrong amount.
2160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 10, 2020, 09:47:11 PM
Unpopular opinion here... I don't think the casinos should pay the employees during the shutdown.

Casinos pay employees to work, if they're not working why should they get paid? Casinos and most jobs don't care about the livelihoods of their employers, their main purpose is obviously to make money. They clearly won't be making money if they're not even open. Sure, they could continue paying their employees now and go bankrupt off the back of it. Or they could just not pay them and let the government step up to protect its tax payers.

An employer-employee relationship shouldn't mean you should suddenly start paying people to do nothing when shit hits the fan. If these people don't have their own savings then that's on them.
